Super solid spot. The food was great, and they have a lot of good beers on tap. Our server Michael helped our party of 8 get everything they needed and even split the checks for people after our group changed their minds a few times about who would pay for what. The manager Adrian was super accomodating and we all had a nice time. They deserve good ratings.

Very friendly server. Food delicious. Got the cornbread basket and that whipped maple butter was awesome. Shared the dinner for two- ribs, chicken, brisket, coleslaw, collard greens, beans and mac-n-cheese. BBQ sauces are so tasty. We did get the Maple Bourbon Bread Pudding but it was not that good. Cold center and no flavor. But overall good experience.

You owe it to yourself to stop here to eat. The food is phenomenal and the prices are pretty reasonable for the portions you get. The thing that really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. Friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a restaurant, especially the bar staff! Legit southern BBQ with southern hospitality up North!

I love this place and eat here more often than can be considered financially responsible... but the BBQ for 2 special on Tuesday nights is hard to turn down... every week. 3 meats, 4 sides and large portions = very satisfied and full customers who take home a lot of leftovers. Everything is fresh at Bluebird but I have to specifically point out their wings which are smoked on site (you can see the smokehouse as you walk in from parking). The pit master wings are the best wings I’ve ever had and I can’t think of anyone around who even comes close. I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention the friendly and helpful staff at Bluebird... they’re always willing to tell customers about the various sauces they offer and which meats they’re best paired with. Speaking of their house made sauces, they actually make their own catchup too, which I can’t get enough of.

If you like all your food dishes soaked in apple cider vinegar then this is the place for you. But for me no thanks, i will not be returning. Went with a friend that is allergic to apples and he literally couldn't eat anything. Every sauce they have had cider in it even their ketchup. I mean who cooks collard greens with apple cider any way? Service was ok but food was mediocre at best.

Had the bbq for two with chicken, ribs, and brisket. Sides were collard greens, mashed sweet potatoes, and mac & cheese. Ribs were fall off the bone, bbq sauce choices were good for those who like sweet bbq and those who don't. The mashed sweet potatoes had rosemary which was unexpected, but tasty. Great service, clean restaurant, pleasant atmosphere.

I had an incredible experience with Bluebird, specifically with their party orders. Our office ordered a number of BBQ dishes & I was tasked with picking them up. Upon arriving, Dan (their Culinary Director) had all the food ready & started loading up my car. I went to start my vehicle & it wouldn't start. Dan offered to jump the car but that didn't work either. Dan, without prompting, said he'd bring me back to the office so everyone could eat on time. What an unexpected act of generosity even when they had more (& larger) orders to deal with. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Great BBQ. Take out is almost a great as dine in. Tables are a bit small, or maybe the trays just have so much on them that it makes the tables look smaller. Regardless, order anything you want and whatever you order will definitely hit the spot. I have vegetarian friends that love the place.

Always a good time here! Some of the best barbecue in the area, the food is always consistently good. Staff has always been on point everytime I've been here. Space is larger than it looks, but it fills up quick. Multiple rooms keep the noise down and creates a cozy feel.

The food here is fantastic. You have a wide choice of meats to choose from. Though if you don't like meat they also have some vegetarian options. The staff here are extremely helpful, they will help you pick your main meal based off of your appetizer. Overall, an extremely enjoyable place to eat.

This is definitely some of the best bbq I've had in New England! I had the cornbread and bbq poutine with pulled pork and was really pleased with both, ate every bit. My boyfriend had ribs that he cut through with a butter knife! The portions are generous and the staff is very friendly; one member of staff took the time to explain their different sauces to us which was really helpful. The prices are fair and we'll definitely be back when visiting Burlington! Also, the building and overall aesthetic are so cool!

Considerate staff from the moment I walked in. Servers were present but not pushy, I felt no pressure to place an order before I was ready. Each dish was well presented, flavorful without being over seasoned, and well sized portions, a Goldilocks situation (not too big, not too small). The atmosphere was relaxed and had a homie feel to it, old hard wood floors and beautiful wood beams. I felt comfortable and well cared for from start to finish.

Great atmosphere with dining outside overlooking the river. The brisket was fantastic and the sides of Mac and cheese and beans were delicious. The hand cut French fries were out of this world. The staff were all great and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend if you're a fan of good barbecue and appreciate slow smoked brisket.

Delicious food and great waiters and staff. Definitely a good place to go to in Burlington. There's a mixture of southern and northern dishes, and a little bit of something for everyone. I'm from the south and stopped by here for dinner. The mac and cheese felt like authentic southern mac. The meats were all delicious. Get the bbq for two if you are going with two people, it saves money.

My first visit the brisket was pretty good. Second time around (lunchtime) the brisket was dry and the fries were even dryer. They must have a different chef during the weekday lunches because the difference was huge. For $30 I'd expect it to be pretty fresh, not bottom of the barrel food.

I had a small problem with my debit card transaction, Adrian was receptive, took action, and followed through in a very transparent and timely manor. Oh my God. When you have to have falling off the bone BBQ and you can't afford a ticket to Charleston South Carolina or Macon, Georgia. Bring your wallet though, and call ahead for a reservation, cause their hours of operation is as predictable as String Theory.

We think that we would love to try the place out, but all we ever smell is the sewage from outback. We shutter to think of all of the airborne and water bacteria. Who would want to eat on the deck when the air smells so putrid? Please relocate soon!

We shared the "Family Reunion" for 4. Easily enough for 6. Terrific and tender ribs, baby backs, chicken, turkey, brisket, pulled pork and 8 sides for $99.00! Adding great cornbread was unnecessary but worth it. We all thought it was exceptional and the staff was amusing and attentive. Outstanding.

Try the Nashville hot chicken sammich! Pulled pork is amazing, and early bird specials give a very decent price drop. Menu has improved greatly over the years, offering some ramen bowls and vegetarian options, so it isn't "just" BBQ.

When you look at the pictures of the family reunion meal, the scale of the food is misleading. Look at the chicken it's a half chicken and go from there. It's a lot of food. The family reunion has all the smoked meats and all of the sides for 99$. We had 5 adults and there was still plenty of meat left over. There was enough meat left over to feed 3 more adults. The sides we're portioned a lot smaller but you get all of them which is 6 or 7 different things. Great food and environment. We left with lots of delicious left overs and for 99$ the dinner was a good value.

Great BBQ and very friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend the BBQ for two with the brisket, pulled pork and ribs (the ribs are to kill for). I'd pass on the turkey, you only get two small slices, which for two people isn't great. Otherwise great place, with going to.

Went here with some family a couple nights ago. Our waiter Ross was excellent with asking if we needed anything, brought us drinks when we asked. And was very helpful if we wanted to know anything about anything on the menu. Food was excellent. Hard to try everything, since their 15-hour brisket is so darn good. Sauces for the food are amazing as well. Go here. You will love it.
