I love pizza and this place did well to appease me. I ordered a calzone and it was great. Everything from presentation to flavor was satisfying. The boneless wings are basically chicken nuggets, however the buffalo sauce used had great flavor. Salads are pricey but large to make up for the price. Would go again and recommend

Used to order frequently... delivery is overpriced and extremely slow... the food is decent, but nothing truly amazing... they do offer online ordering which is convenient... only had a few issues with incorrect orders that were delivered where we ended up having to drive the food to the restaurant and they didn't offer to reimburse my delivery fee...

Food is great and amazing. Always eating here 3-5 times a week. I do not always eat here just because the food tastes great, I eat here because of the service I am granted with. The waitresses are always nice and helping. If my order ever gets messed up they do their best to accommodate me for their mistake. Everyone who complains that they dont get their food in time, obviously doesn't know what being "busy" means. If you order food to be delivered when it's dinner hour you are not going to get your food within 30 minutes. You have to take into consideration how many other people order before you, whether it was in store or for delivery. YOU are not the only one ordering food. They have been in business for 30+ years so I'm pretty sure they know what they are doing. For all you giving 1 star reviews, next time take in consideration the time you order, what you ordered, where you live, plus other orders. And if something is wrong with your order be respectful and explains to them, don't be angry, mistakes happen due to human error. GREAT PLACE TO EAT! RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA! Enjoy!

All frozen food just heated and delivered. Fries were tasteless, burger was Wendy’s quality at best, and the shake I had want even fully mixed. I got sick after eating it for the next hour and a half. I called to let them know and hoped to get a refund since it was 21.00 and chafe for those three items, and the supervisor said sorry, no one else complained. Food 4/10 Delivery time 7/10 customer service 3/10

This pizza place is a great asset to its community! So involved in local sports teams and other community donations. The owner really cares about this town and the people in it. And the pizza is the best hands down in town! My fave is there Spaghetti! There's is the best! Tastes like a real homemade sauce! I want to bottle it up and use it at home! Great place for your kids birthday party too! Great space! Another nostalgic place in town for people who grew up here who are now bringing there kids there. <3

I have gone here for 20 years. I like this place a lot. The owner cares about the quality and his staff manage the rush hours well. Very consistent quality. I prefer Italian/New York style over "Greek" pizza, but this pie is VERY good. Other dishes besides "Pie" are also good. Plenty of parking 98% of the time. It's better than the similar place over the river.

Athens is a great place for a quick bite or to get pizza. I recommend the gyro, but all of their dishes are worth trying. They also have a very convenient online ordering service which allows for quick and easy pick up.

Don't buy from Athens pizza unless you want to wait an hour an a half with no warning about the waiting time and get cold pizza and wings and not be allowed to get a refund because you ate the pizza and wings you stayed up late for just to eat. We had to call back the next day because there was no manager on staff. Will never eat there again. Guy also talked to my Fiance like he was dumb.

Most anything you order here is wrong. I gave them 1 more chance tonight and they screwed it up like usual. The receipts printed reflect the correct order but the people who prepare and bag the food cannot handle this extreme task. Not suprised but at least now I know and that'll be the last time.

Good -- not great -- food in an informal dining experience. We shared a Chef Salad that was large and tasty. It was served with a single packet of Ken's salad dressing made with high fructose corn syrup, a questionably safe sweetener. The fried mushrooms were decent: crunchy, not soggy or oily, but not worth the price. A BBQ Steak Grinder was way too sweet. The Eggplant Parm dinner was very good. It came with a tasteless side of spaghetti with Marinara sauce. A mixed berry smoothie was syrupy and overly sweet. The place was busy on a pleasant Sunday afternoon, so maybe the locals aren't as critical as I. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Your entire order is brought out at the same time. There's no follow-up service, so if you forgot something or need something more, your only option is to get in line at the counter and wait. Overall, Athens is an OK place, but doesn't offer a memorable dining experience.

We recently ate at Athens after not eating there for quite some time. First of all, this is winter. Turn on the heat! Then, after being ignored for 5 minutes, our order was taken by a young lady who really could have cared less that we were there, standing next to an older woman who didn’t even notice us. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with no onions and a pizza. $30?? The pizza came and 15 minutes later my salad came. Maybe 2oz of chicken, over wilted lettuce and a rotten tasting cucumber and, yes, onions! Leaving, the two ladies didn’t even raise their head to say good bye, thank you? It’s really hard to purposely ignore people, especially when they say thank you and good bye. Don’t waste your time or your money!

Oh, it's nothing to write home to mom about. Ordered a steak and cheese. The steak was dry and they served it on what appeared to be garlic bread with the cheese being melted to the bread. No cheese melted in with the steak. So it's a cheeseless steak and cheese? My fiancée order a grilled chicken salad. It came out with a black hair sitting on a slice of cucumber. The lady behind the counter was very polite and when we she brought the hairy salad to us she apologized and remade it herself. One star just for her otherwise it wound have been 2 stars.

It's a decent place with decent food but the pizza crust is very thick and it does not have too much flavor. The satisfaction after each other bite of their pizza deteriorates. In addition, the post meal feelings are not too positive, meaning your body does not have a lot of energy. In conclusion, the food is not premium it's more like junk food. Overall it's not a bad place but it's nothing too exciting.

Ordered the chicken gyro got beef instead. I called immediately and was put on hold for 5 minutes had to hang up and call back was put on hold again. When the waitress finally came on she said they would remake it and send it out. The new sandwich had no chicken, loaded with feta and tasted disgusting. I am new to the area and order out alot, but will not be ordering from this place again.

Service at the restaurant was bad, beer tap was frozen so I ordered a merlot and it was in the refrigerator, cold red wine?? Just tried to order for delivery, 28Oct16, and the employee told me they had two drives quit so no delivery time could be given. Totally a crap shoot. Tired of them getting orders completely wrong. I have a child with legit allergies to dairy and egg (as in, hit him with an epi pen and call 911 before he dies allergies). Have ordered him burgers online when we're getting pizza for the rest of the family, specifically with no cheese and no mayo and again stating his allergy and such requests in the notes section. At least 50 percent of the time had to call them to bring a new burger out, as the one they sent would result in his death for one (or more) reasons. Seriously. Read the order. Follow the order. Read the notes. And check again before your delivery person leaves. Stopped ordering him food, but ordered for ourselves tonight, as my wife and I both worked long shifts and didn't feel like cooking. Gave allergy child other food cuz we knew they'd get it wrong and make us wait a half hour to fix it. But yeah. No. Ordered a 4 topping pizza. Got a 3 topping pizza, only 2 of which were the correct toppings. Don't feel like waiting for the right pizza to arrive. Not worth the time to complain and have to wait. I'm done. Just completely done with this place and never ordering from them again.

If the option for 0 stars was available I would pick. My coworkers and myself give Athen's a lot of business and it seems that frequently they screw things up. Tonight we had ordered a chicken finger dinner with extra BBQ sauce and garlic bread, and an Eggplant dinner. The order took an hour and a half to be delivered, and once we received the order it was wrong. We had two chicken finger dinners no sauce and just a container of spaghetti. When I called to inform them of their mistake I got the response of " Well here's the good thing ok, you have two chicken finger dinners and you were only charged for one so that is all set." I then spoke with a man after being on hold for 10 minutes who basically bashed a new employee for the order being wrong. He advised they would give me correct orders for free ( at this point I just wanted my money back) and they would have it here quickly. Two hours later the correct food arrived. Are you kidding me? Done purchasing anything from there

Came here to use two $25 gift cards that took an hour to register online. We were anticipating a nice meal however when we got in we placed our orders and it took 45 minutes for them to bring out my girlfriends food. She asked what was on their chicken salad and they didnt know and that we would have to wait for the rest of our food. So another 30 minutes went by as she had asked several times for dressing and forgot. Her friends order wich we thought they forgot about was brought to the wrong table. Over all we were dissapointed by the service and food quality. Especially because their food made us sick!!! My gut is still in knots and we wont be returning untill major improvements are made.

Well the pizza was very good but we have never been to a pizza restaurant that didn't give you plates and silverware. Staff never asked if we needed anything else. Plus the flies were flying all over. We were traveling so I can say we won't be back.

My family eats here often. It is definitely a family setting. They even have a claw machine and an arcade game. I only gave it 4 stars because sometimes orders do get screwed up and when getting delivery sometimes you wait a long time and by the time you get your food it's luke warm sometimes cold. Their busiest nights are Friday and Saturday that's when deliveries take longer. The wait staff is ok. Usually younger kids and sometimes aren't very friendly when answering the phones.. but again it's great for families and it's right in town. It's convenient.

Eating at this establishment was one of the worst experiences of my life. First the food was awful half of it was undercooked, basically raw and the other half was burnt to a crisp. Secondly the girls at counter are surprisingly rude, too busy with their phones playing on Facebook and looking at shoes to take my order. Had to explain five times what I wanted. An hour later finally got my food nothing was right. Asked for manager, this weird little man came out, sweaty n foaming at mouth. Plain and simple I suggest you steer clear of this place it is the worst place I’ve ever been I felt like I was in mortal danger.. negative ten stars.
