Everything is $8 and up except soup chowder etc. and I thought was slightly overpriced but the atmosphere, customer service, food presentation amazing and changed my mind when I received my meal. I have eaten in hundreds of restaurants around the world and in US. Looks like nothing outside but inside is incredibly cozy inside. Service is fantastic. Food as well. Found this place by mistake looking for a pizza place. Amazing find.

A classic burger joint that prepares real (delicious) food. Great burgers made with local beef, but still affordable. Our last meal was a veggie burger (made in-house, not frozen) and fish and chips, both with fries and a strawberry shake for $23. Which is to say, about the going rate - though higher than average quality I think. It's right next door to a (possibly co-owned?) ice cream shop so the shakes are fantastic : )

The staff were great, the food not so much. I had the salmon burger, they were out of fish and chips, it was over cooked and dry, probably not fresh but frozen cooked in the nuker though the dill caper sauce was good and the bun was good. My partner had a black bean burger that was a hockey puck and inedible, don't think we will return any time soon.

One of my friends told me to try this place out and i totally regret it. One of the worst burgers ive had in the last 10 years. The burger was so dried out every bite i had to wash down with loads of ketchup and a swig of pepsi. Definatly not worth 12$ for a burger and fry. Definatly never going to this so called resturant. How do you mess up a burger. I would rather go to 5 guys resturant where the burgers are full or juices and flavor and not dried out at all.

Are you kidding me. $50 for a family of 4 for this. The only difference between the kids burger and the regular ones is the size of the bun. Everything was well done. Needed ketchup just to swallow the burgers. Go down the street to 5 guys at least you know what you will get. Oh, up charger for fries as well!

I frequent ahdarji's Grill after nearly every fishing Excursion we took down on Bay Road. Archie's is one of my favorite burger and fries locations as they offer an immense menu of Burger choices. I myself enjoy their chicken sandwiches which have nearly as many options as the burgers. Also their wings and their accompaniments are exceptional. After dining you can go next door to the scoop which I believe is owned by the same owners and enjoy some of the best hard ice cream that Vermont has to offer. My favorite being the chocolate peanut butter. I will miss going to Archie's very much as we have moved out of the area but I intend to return if we come back to Vermont for a visit.

Best place for a burger in the area. I have been here on multiple occasions and have consistently gotten great food and service. They make their own fries and chips, have many other menu options, and provide a quick and satisfying stop for lunch or dinner. I definitely recommend Archie's Grill.

I am always impressed by Archie's and have been many many times. They have excellent attention to detail and is a truly fresh place to eat that is supportive of its community. Archie's has a very wide menu and most items can be customized to taste. In the five years I have gone to Archie's I have never had a bad meal..

Local food is a great idea. I ordered the Archie's favourite. Too much horseraddish!! I like horseradish but the amount on my sandwich made it almost unbearable. Chips were meh but I normally dont like homemade chips. 4 stars is generous based on my experience because I have a feeling horseradish on the side would have made the meal much better. I would absolutely try the fries next time even tho they charge extra to sub one potato for another.

When reviewing a place, I compare their marketing to reality. Their slogan is “good fresh food” it should say “Greasy fried food”. Our fries were over cooked and our battered fish from, I suspect, frozen packaging.

I was going through Vermont and told that I HAD to stop here. I was unimpressed with the service - either at the order counter or pickup, even though pick up was far worse when I had the nerve to speak to the guy and he just grunted and gestured in response. We were offered three choices of sides with our burgers and then charged for substitutions when we apparently chose the wrong ones. I have had better luck at McDonalds getting an order done correctly, and the burgers are apparently all cooked to medium and no other choice. $2 for a 10oz fountain drink (question mark as to whether or not there are free refills) and the food was passable at best. Pass.

Great local burger joint with Vermont versions of popular grilled sandwiches. Locally sourced ingredients. Soda bar features Boylan cherry soda! MUST TRY homemade potato chips! Plenty of parking, but look carefully for entrance on West side of Hwy 7. Easy to miss! In a quiet strip mall. Highly recommended!

I was really looking forward to trying this place. The menu is awesome. That's where the awesomeness ended. The almost $20 burger, fries, and a beer took at least 20 minutes. The sign said cooked medium, but mine was well done and shrunken. The lettuce and tomato on top looked very fresh. The staff was very friendly, but did seem to know their rolls very well. I asked for a beer and it took them a while just to fine a glass. Then the pint wasn't even filled as the tap was foaming. The other two people with me had burgers that looked much better. The fries were pretty good. I am hoping that my experience was a fluke on a busy afternoon with new staff and renovations happening. I will try it again and hope it matches the hype.

Archie's is a fun place to go with the family. There are several big tables for groups. The burgers, fries, and grilled food are as you would expect at a grill spot. They also serve beer! And, if you are up for ice cream, there is a scoop shop next door.

What do you want from a burger joint? How about a well cooked tasty burger that comes in a variety of settings with great fries and onion rings served in a basket like at the drive-in. And those chips. Very special! And Archie's serves it all up in a matter of minutes. Burgers are cooked slightly medium rare but they can be cooked to order if it's not too busy. Craft beer is on tap. A variety of other dishes from Mexican favorites to pulled pork are also on the menu. And Archie's lives right next to an awesome ice cream parlor. The reggae music in the background is non-stop. This place is a family friendly as it gets. We love it!

This is my favorite Vermont burger joint! It’s gourmet, and it’s clean, friendly and owned by a local family. The service is quick, the food is totally yummy, and I’m always happy to go next door to their scoop shop to top my meal off with their homemade ice cream. If burgers aren’t hitting your spot, you can get some seafood, chicken or even soup. They serve local soda, local craft beer, and make their own chips. You can even get a gluten free bun or ice cream cone! You won’t go home hungry!

Good place for a sandwich. Service was excellent, and the food very good. The staff was highly attentive to our needs, and they have a good selection of foods. My "negatives" are small-- the restaurant was VERY warm, but considering that it was July, we recognized that probably their air conditioner may have been struggling to keep up. The fries were ok-- not bad but not great either. But my wings were very good, and my wife reported her sandwich was also quite good. Would we come back? Sure.

Best tasting "fast food" in the area with grass fed beef. But be prepared to spend lots of money because it's also one of the most expensive hamburger joints in the whole state.

Good bun, chicken was a little thin, the chips are coated in parmesan cheese I think? I tried the fries, perfectly fine, hand cut and deep fried to a brown. Caesar dressing was pretty good, as were the croutons. I actually didn't try the burgers but they looked really good.

This spot has charm and good food, with beer and wine available. We enjoyed their burgers and fries, and I savored my potato chips. All hand cut on the premises. You order at the counter from their fun staff ...then pick it up when it's ready, so that it's always hot and fresh. Many choices of sandwiches and burgers. Be sure to check out the ice cream shop literally next door for a sweet treat. Prices are modest, my burger and chips was $7.99 and they go up from there, most under $10.00
