We got our burgers to go, as a member of our party was underaged. The Celestial Burgers were heavenly, even though the bottom bun was a bit soggy, likely from waiting to eat it. The fry sauce was excellent, somewhat spicier than the traditional Utah fare. Great selection of local and semi-local beers. We'll have to go again, I have to try the Fungus Amongus mushroom burger, as fungi makes you a fun guy!

They make some of the best burgers in Salt Lake. This place I feel is always busy, but it’s worth the wait. Don’t be surprised if your burger takes 45 minutes to get to you. Just sit back, relax, enjoy your drinks, and watch some TV.

This place is well known for their garlic burgers. We tried the Sunday brunch and wow! Just fantastic. I had the hub caps which is biscuits and bacon gravy with ham or bacon on the side (I had ham) partner had a blue cheese omelet. Those and the Sunday bloody Mary I had were perfect. Best bloody Mary I've ever had I think. Definitely try this place if you're on the fence about it.

Lobed the atmosphere. I ordered the garlic burger (something about being a breath destroyer on the menu). WOW. I like garlic, but I was breathing garlic fire for 24 hours after. Glad I didn't order the garlic fries with it. Enjoy one garlic at a time.

Fantastic!! One of the best burgers I've had in my life. It's a shame that it's in a bar and I can't share it with my underage family but it's worth it to wait until you are 21. Great selection of burgers and alcohol, definitely worth it and at a fair price.

The food here is delicious with great portions. The peanut butter burger, as odd as it sounds, is one of my favorite burgers. The price you pay is very reasonable and the portions are very generous. I always leave there feeling well fed. I sat out on the patio this time and it was very comfortable and shady, the misters they have help keep it cool as well.

They have some of the coolest, most unusual & innovative food you have ever seen. We got some drinks, and the flowers are edible!! The flavors are really cool, and really creative. One of the most interesting places we have been, and we don't even drink alcoholic drinks! Love this place!

My cheeseburger tasted and felt a bit greasier than in the past, but I still think Lucky 13 is a great place to go in Salt Lake City. I knew our daughter would enjoy the experience of Lucky 13. This time, I was able to make reservations, which made life so much easier. Unfortunately, we were seated in the back room, where the cacophony of noise made conversation and relaxation next to impossible. Next time I will request the front. The staff and servers at Lucky 13 are absolutely wonderful, and display a professionalism missing at many "high end" joints around town. The hiring process must be intense, or the training precise, because everyone working is accommodating, polite, intelligent and aware of customer's needs. Kudos to whomever is in charge. Salt Lake City is lucky to have Lucky 13 serving some of the best and most inventive cheeseburgers in the city.

The only reason why I would give this place 3 stars is because the food was delicious. The location is understandable but terrible if your looking for parking. Exterior and interior look needs major improvements. The way a place feels is just as important as the taste of the food. The Staff easily would have given this place a one star. Who was my waiter? Who knew? When the food was delivered I wanted to make a change but the girl never came back. The staff looked like everyone else so I didn’t know who to ask so just asked the Bar tender. The cooks do a great job and are the only staff members I think did their job beyond expectations. This place is a one time experience only. Clean your house! People are coming over to eat at your house.

Delicious burgers! I was recommended Lucky 13 by friends in school and didn't pursue the recommendation until several years later. I sincerely regret that decision! This easily ranks in top three best burgers I've ever had. I would recommend the pig pen or the celestial burger.

I don't drink but if you're a burger fan Lucky 13 has the best burgers in town. Perfect size, taste, and cooked to perfect pink center. Load up the patties of you dare. My limit is the double. Great place to take your friends. But there is a catch. If they are from out of the country and don't have a US drivers license to scan at the door, they won't let you in. I hope they revisit that policy.

Had a lot of fun last night. The food was amazing but the customer service was lacking. My waitress messed up all of our tabs and tried to charge us for things we didn't order. It took ordering three different drinks before I found one that I liked. They put Rosemary in a lot of their drinks and food and it's really overpowering. Other than that I had a good time.

Lucky 13 is one of the best places in Salt Lake for Burgers. Just remember that it's licensed as a bar so no one under 21 allowed. They have a lot of options for burger customization and their spicy fries are actually spicy. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been. It's generally crowded at dinner hours but I've never waited long.

Wow! The atmosphere is so casual....The food is so so very good. Was told about this place by a friend and he was right! It’s awesome! Ordered the Ring of Fire....Spicy and yummy! The bun is wonderful and the meat is cooked perfectly. Oh...And spicy!!! Haha! Beer selection is great. U gotta make this a destination. Driving up to the place will make u excited. There isn’t a burger comparable to what Lucky 13 delivers. The drink menu is so fun - I personally love the Hibiscus Margarita. When it comes to food the PB burger is something else - add some jalapeños and prepare for your mind to be blown! Grab yourself a burger and an order of the best fried pickles EVER here at Lucky 13. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the Nut Butter burger. If I am being honest it was not my favorite, but I still enjoyed it. The all beef patty was one of the finest patties I have tasted, fantastic flavor and cooked to perfection. I am just not sure if PB should be on MY burger, though I can see why some would love it. The Rosemary Garlic fries were delicious, especially with the Lucky 13 sauce. What's in that sauce you ask? I don't really know, but its to die for. We loved the outside patio seating with the overhead mist. The staff was fantastic. Worth the price, which was less than what I expected.

If you are reading this, and haven’t had a burger here. Your life is sub-par. They easily have the best burgers in the state! Everything on the menu is dope. The rosemary fries are bomb. But bring some gum with you. Pretty strong garlic, which is delicious. Also if you don’t drink alcohol, don’t feel like you can’t eat here. They are cool with you not ordering alcohol. Be sure to bring your ID with you. Staff is great and super helpful. Service is fast. The manager is dope too. He usually comes out and talks to people.

The stars are only for the food because they get a 1 for service. My dear friend has terminal cancer, luckily he had a good day today and called for some help and maybe a little to eat. This was his favorite place to get a burger so I called in advance to order and see if they have mementos or something I could get for him. The gal on the phone was pretty rude and seemed really annoyed even after explaining why I was calling. Picking up the food and trying to talk to her about the shirts and hats was no better. Just a really poor attitude all around for coming in to get a guy what may be the last meal I'm able to get him. BTW this is the 2nd poor experience I've had with this place in as many years and I doubt I'll go out of my way to come back. They do have an amazing Celestial burger and garlic rosemary fries though, which is what I surprised him with. He was happy and that is what mattered.

Be careful with fake people saying they are charging to park by sears. Its a scam!! The people from the bar know about the scam but they dont call the police or say something. First time visitors should know this is a bar and you will be required to show your id. I ordered the special of the day, venison burger. It was delicious and not over cooked which I appreciate very much. It came with a large portion of fries. It is Thursday around a quarter to one when I arrived. It was quite full yet I was seated quickly nonetheless. My food came fast and hot. The service was excellent. I have been here a few times now and have enjoyed every visit

Only a couple minute wait on a monday night dinner. Took a minute to get noticed at our table (about 10 to be exact) but it was very busy and it wasn't a big deal. The burgers were insanely good. Always go for the special. The fry sauce was bomb and I recommend asking for extra.

The burger's can't be beat!! Always delicious and reasonably priced. The parking is nearly non existent and the building itself is very small so you often have to wait for a table but it's definitely worth the wait. I once waited an hour and a half to get in and then maybe 30-40 minutes to get my food but it was still amazing! If these guys had a bigger building and better parking I'd rate 5 stars for sure!! The place is always crowded they'd have no problem filling a building 3 times as big.

Unlike most places that just tell you what you want to hear but with no follow through, medium is actually medium, or however you order it, which is really nice for a change. What is more, the food here has a quality and taste all its own and is (in my modest opinion) the best in the valley (especially if you like a wild game burger). Can't go wrong with this great place.

Probably the best burgers I've ever had. It's a bar (so you have to be over 21), but don't let that deceive you. The food is awesome. I don't drink, but go for the food. It can get crowded at lunch time, so arrive early or plan to wait 10-20 minutes for a table. Prices are very reasonable $9-12 for a burger and fries.

Don't let the atmosphere of this place fool you-- they have amazing food. My go to is either the Fungus Among Us or the Celestial Burger (with garlic fries, of course). Both are excellent. I'm not really a BBQ bacon burger person, but the Celestial burger really is just amazing The ring of fire and the breath enhancer are also fun, and I think I would recommend them as something you should try at least once. Although, fair warning, you might taste garlic for days after a breath enhancer!

Expect the wait, so the right expectations are set going in. The burger was definitely not worth the 90 minute wait. It was overcooked and not even a shade of red or pink. Maybe they forgot it while it was cooking? Recommend looking for a better place with better value for your time.

So if I could give this place a 0 I would... The guy at the front door literally would not let us in because we were having a good time and had a couple of drinks before we arrived here to this establishment and we're told we were "too drunk" to come into this place that serves alcohol and enjoy our day before the Bee's game... I know I'm 1 person, but I will let everyone I know about this place and how they handle their business... I'm not from here originally, but I will never come back here, due to the guy at the front door that shoved business away because we came to this restaurant after having some drinks.

Junk Things

This is the first place that my friends brought me to when I was visiting Utah, my friends saying "when you'll try this burger you'll decide to stay!" Well, I decided to stay. Coincidence? Okay, yeah it was... But this is one amazing burger!
The first time I went to Lucky 13 they had a special burger: Mac and cheese. It was.... In a word... Amazing. Subsequent visits have led me to try quite a few of their offerings. I LOVE the Celestial burger. Lots, and lots of caramelized onions. For one if my friends, chicken is more his speed. He said the chicken tenders did not disappoint!
All in all, this is a fun place to go and eat with friends. The reason I gave 4/5 instead of 5/5 is due to consistency. Sometimes it's REALLY REALLY good, and sometimes it's just alright. Granted, most of the time is really good, and I couldn't tell you what the difference is, but about 1/3 of the time it's just jot quite there.
Still, I definitely recommend giving me this place a try!! IMPORTANT: Due to laws surrounding liquor in Utah, you MUST be over 21 and have your ID present to enter the establishment. I've seen a lot of negative reviews surrounding this, and it is no way she staff, or the establishment's fault. It's Utah's Gov't all the way.

Great selection of craft beers and liquor. This place has some of the best burgers in town. Quite a few unique choices, my favorites are the Breathalyzer (garlic and rosemary burger) and the mushroom burger. Plenty of my friends have raved about their peanut butter burger. They also have some really flavorful spiced up fries! Staff is just about always fast and friendly! Wednesday at 8pm you can join in for pub quiz fun hosted by local personality, Mr. Shannon Barnson. It is a before and after destination for many attending the Salt Lake Bees baseball games with it just down the street half a block from Smith's Ballpark. Oh and Bacon!

If not the best burgers in the state it's for sure top 3. Cant go wrong with a classic cheeseburger but I also enjoy the Big Stinky. Heres a hot tip: Not feeling a burger? Order the Loaded Grilled Cheese, add Turkey, add Pastrami, instead of fries do a side salad with Balsamic vinaigrette. Eat the salad first and then use your sandwich to wipe up the left over dressing. You're welcome.

Parking is sparse, there are maybe 10 spots. If there is no event going on you can park in the parking lot next door. We ordered chips and salsa, the chips were extremely stale however salsa was delicious. Second order of chips came out also very stale they did remove it from our bill. The burgers, fries, salad were all delicious top-of-the-line quality. I've been there twice now and both times the service was awful. Unfortunately, neither have much personality or social skills. But don't let that deter you from getting a delicious Burger.

Went for brunch and couldn't be happier with the food, service, and drinks. Had the Diablo omelette and it was the perfect blend of eggs and spiciness. Also had their traditional Bloody Mary and it was by far the best in the valley! The outdoor patio was nice and cool and the misters have to have the driest water as you never feel sticky. This place has my Sunday brunch business from now on!

I very rarely leave reviews of any kind. I've been all over the country and had ALL kinds of delicious burgers, but after eating the Celestial Burger at Lucky 13's, I can say without question that this is the best burger I have ever had ANYWHERE! Truly incredible, thank you guys so much.

Everyone goes here for burgers, and for good reason. The burgers are great and unique. However, I was less than impressed with the service. There were around 5 groups of people, and our server could barely be bothered to ask us how we were. And when it was time for our check, he told us he would bring it right out. It took 40 minutes for us to finally get it. I'd stopped him a couple times to get our check, then he stop by our table a couple times to say he'd bring it to us. Then he would disappear or ignore us when he walked past our table. When it isn't busy, it feels silly to have to wait 40 minutes for a check. But hopefully that's just the one server who does that.

Iv been here many times. Lucky 13 has some of the best burgers in Salt Lake City! Just make sure you have an ID with you other wise you'll be turned away.

The girls need to pick up their service a little or need a little training to being the customer service up to a 5. Otherwise it was a fine 1st time experience. Food was good. I wish burgers were more seasoned because I don't do sauces on them. Good size and everything was fresh!

Great food, the burgers were juicy, and spicy. The fries were delicious and hot, we had the pastrami and the Fungus. The server was great! The only thing I didn’t like is the parking, we had to leave and eat somewhere else, the first time. Also the fact that they scan your ID at the door. How if I didn’t bring it?!

Lucky 13 was awesome! We came for my best friends bachelor party day. We had lunch. I had the Ring of Fire Burger, the waitress was nice and said I should put the habeñero peppers on the side. I did, lucky thing too because they were hot (seeds and all). Still an awesome burger though, the peppered bacon was so good on it. Great staff, they were super accomadating with our large group. Also, make sure you try some of the fries! Garlic fries are best.

Cajun fries were great and my burger was hefty and juicy! Place has a nice vibe and is right by the ballpark. My only complaint is that our server didn't advertise the specials--as a result I missed it. It was written in one place I saw on the way out and I didn't ask, but it sounded good and I would have ordered it had I known. So enjoy this place but DON'T FORGET to ask about the daily special(s)!

Seriously, you cannot get a better burger in Salt Lake. They are perfect, and messy, and wonderful. I had the Celestial today and it was to die for. I brought a friend for her first time and she tried the Nut Butter Burger, and loved it. Get the garlic fries, you won't regret it. Probably. ;)

This place is amazing! The parking is a little rough, they have some surrounding parking lots that I always park in when I go to lucky 13. Their burgers are HUGE portions (or at least it feels like it to me!), and they are cooked to your liking! The fries are soo good, the garlic rosemary fries are my favorite! They have a great fry sauce or everything sauce! They do not dress their burgers with sauces unless obviously you ordered one with sauce burgers do come with all the toppings though, lettuce, tomato, onion! Lucky 13 never disappoints!

Bring ID for them to scan. I ordered the breath enhancer burger because I like garlic, and it wards off vampires ;) very filling...however the fries are overly salted and seasoned even on their plain fries so if you want them truly plain you have to ask for no salt...their rosemary garlic fries are the best thing ever as long as you don't get the garlic burger in addition to them so you can enjoy the flavors without overpowering your tongue with garlic. The food was delectable from first bite to last, to say the least! Next time I want to try their plain burger and fried pickles! They also have their own lucky dark lager on tap that is really great! It would be nice if they expand with more locations throughout the valley!

Awesome food, and a cool bar atmosphere. Even if you plan to only eat here, you have to be of legal age to enter (no exceptions). Their burgers and fries are top-notch. During the lunch rush, their dining area gets full quick; so you have to get there early. Definitely worth the hassle of getting in though!

I think this is my favorite (tied?) burger in slc. Also love that it is a bar and they don't run from that. I have tried 5 or 6 of their burgers and they are all good. Juicy and cooked to order, right on. The garlic burger is my fav (that is not what it is called...), they also have a great pastrami burger as well as the mushroom burger.
