To this day this business receives a score of 4.4 stars out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 282 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings that it reaches is quite good, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the rating is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their opinion when they've done well with the service, it works.

This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Indian restaurant.
The chicken tika masala is one of my favorite dishes out of all the restaurants in Cache Valley!
Their lunch buffet is incredible. Their staff are so nice and on top of things.
I've had better Indian food from a TV dinner.
Thanks owner and chef was very kind, hospitable, and made my friend and I feel welcome! Service was quick, food was delicious! Of you only have one thing when you come you must try the Fulfi!! But it's All Soo good! I will definitely be back to try more dishes!!
Very good food! Service is awesome.
Good food. Reasonably priced.
Good place, interesting service. We decided to try it out and my wife and I both ordered different items and we were given one bowl of rice to share. We asked for more after we had easily ate it up and our waitress said we are running low on rice and it is 2.99 to have more. I said yeah we want more we didn't get very much to start out with(the amount fit for a single person). She came back with the additional bowl of rice and said we made some more so it doesn't cost 2.99 anymore. So were they really out or did they just not want to give us any more? Didn't make sense and we go there at around 7:00pm which ment they defiantly were going to have to feed a ton more people after us. I think we will stick to the tanadori oven instead.
Great atmosphere and food. Local owners that are friendly and helpful run the restaurant. They have nights where a belly dancer performs in the evening.
I love the Indian Oven in Logan, I've tried many Indian restaurants all over between Salt Lake and Ogden, and while they aren't bad. I'd rather drive over an hour 1 way, for the best Tikka Masala I've ever tasted! Best ever!
Some of the best Indian curry around. Love it. The naan bread is delicious
The best India food in Utah
Amazing food! Is so flavorful and unique, one of the best Indian restaurants in cache valley. Atmosphere is also amazing, very calm and relaxing.
Yummy. Even my picky kids enjoyed it.
Good food but kind of a dated vibe and meh buffet.
I liked the naan bread, but dry chicken and lack of vegetarian/regular selection; I won't be returning. The demographic here is family so I understand why nothing was spicy ( i really like spicy though!) We went to Tandoori oven first, but due to the holidays they were not doing their scheduled buffet on Saturday, which is we decided to try indian oven buffet. Call ahead to tandoori oven and make sure they're doing buffet, their selection and spicy is better.
This food here is definitely NOT Indian. (Yeah I am from India so I know my food). Better go to Tandoori Oven (it's near the university) for authentic Indian food.
Best Indian food in Logan. The sweet naan is phenomenal. I also love the tikka masala.
Been going for years and one of my favorite place to take my family!
Love the lamb here it's more tender than that at Tandoori Oven
Went for lunch. Service was great, food was good, but they have cut back on their lunch buffet due to a lack of customers. Go there and support a local business and not a chain.
Best Indian food in Logan! Owner is very friendly, and is always a joy to talk to. Complex flavors, and, in particular, very tender lamb!
Great food. Great lunch buffet, just wish it was a little bit cheaper.
If you're not sure what entree to get, stick with the recommended favorites on the menu (they're marked). You can't go wrong with those. The side order of naan is also a must have. Favorite appetizer was the samosa, everyone at our table loved it.
Yes! You should go here! This place is amazing! All the food is so so so yummy! I ordered the Chicken Kurma and it was the best food I've ever had! The rice is perfect, and the appetizers are really good too! And the mango yogurt drink...Mmmm. It is very good prices, yet very very fancy! Our server was very good too! The food came out incredibly fast. I highly recommend this place!
Everything was amazing.
Friendly atmosphere, but food is not very authentic Indian. Spices are missing. My Chicken Tikka Masala looked right, but I couldn't taste the garam masala at all. When I asked the staff, they said it was because they spice it for the local's taste. Sigh.
Wonderful food. Nice quiet atmosphere. Waitstaff was awesome.
Food is good however don’t tip owner keeps the tips
These people could poison me, and I'd still be grateful for their cooking. Absolutely delicious! And even if you're white, don't be scared to order a medium heat dish. The mild is for children, my guy. Love this place!
Fabulous food and service. Consistently.
Delicious chicken Tikka masala, awesome service with a smile and the deserts will make you want more even though we couldn't eat one more bite. Highly recommend. -Andy, Justin, rossy, Bharti, Munn.
Great food....Would not expect to find such quality in Logan UT. Very friendly staff too.
Funny waiter, very Friendly staff and great food for the price.
This is, so far, the best Indian food I have had. It even beats all of the Indian food I've had in larger cities like DC and San Francisco. This place is a gem in Cache Valley
One of our favorites for Indian food. A little spicier than normal (we usually can order medium and be fine but here it's better to do mild/mild plus). Love the chicken tikka masala, naan, and biryani.
Great Indian food!
Amazing staff, delicious food, great atmosphere!
Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Love this place!
I love this place, it has amazing food and great service. I would definitely come here again.
There's not many places with an authentic tandoor oven, their Curry is proper authentic and delicious while the meat is spot on for the flavor and texture. Get their garlic Naan for your dish!
Best Indian food in the state. We've tried them all. We love Indian food. This is the place we take special family and friends when they visit. We love the lunch buffet. The owner, Ash, is super nice. Highly recommend!
Great freshly made food.
We absolutely LOVE Indian Oven! The Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I've ever had and the chef and other staff members are SO friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is great! If you don't have time to dine-in, they do have a pick-up option, this makes it great, even on a busy night! Their food is always up to par--they've definitely won our loyalty! We love to share them with everyone who comes to Logan!
Very delicious!
I am happy to say, this Indian restaurant is far superior to the other Indian food hotspot in Logan, Tandoori Oven, and for essentially the same price! From the atmosphere, to the friendly staff, to the food, I get a much more authentic Indian feel. Indian Oven is my new favorite comfort food. My favorite order is the garlic naan with lamb coconut kurma. If compared to Tandoori, Indian Oven's lamb is remarkably more tender (and I can actually get a taste of those golden raisins Tandoori's is usually lacking!), the mix of spices is richer and the rice is slightly aldente and more flavorful (which I prefer). I got the pleasure of enjoying subtle notes of incense floating through the restaurant air tonight and want to ask where I can get some myself! :) Obviously, I highly recommend!!
Average Indian food. Good, but nothing amazing pulling me back.
Ok so this Indian Oven place looks kinda funky on the outside but I just ate here again for the 2nd time and it is so freakin good. The owner is extremely cool and attentive!! GO EXPERIENCE Indian Oven you won't be disappointed!
Look no further for amazing Indian food. I cannot even eat at other Indian restaurants anymore. They have me hooked. I have not had a single item disappoint.
Very good food very nice staff
The food is good. I prefer the other Indian place in town, but they are good.
Great lunch buffet. The three curry options are excellent. Highly recommended
They have best dall makhni in the town
Most horrible place I have ever visited. The owner lady will judge you based on your race. The taste was not even close to the Indian food. They literally forced us to give tip by adding 18% to our bill. I wouldn't even give one star.
Loved it and will eat there again. I had never eaten Indian food. I was deff nervous! Tried 3 different dishes and all I would order again.
There was only one vegetarian option. Would have given zero stars.
Authentic Indian food that is not available anywhere else in the US. Most Indian restaurants have the same menu, but Indian oven provides some specialities like not other.
We love the Indian Oven!! If my family could eat there every day they would. They have great service. We especially like their lunch buffet but it's all delish!
Biryani is so good. I love their buffet too. I come here oftenit is a great place to get good Indian food. Yum.
The food is good, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly.
My dad used to take us here all the time! They were always happy to see us. They were so kind and genuine. They give you sense that they would do anything for you as their customer. On top of that their food is very good! I was hesitant at first to try Indian food but they were an excellent spot to try it out. Will be back again and I definitely recommend going here!
My mother and I ate there the other day. The food was so delicious. I loved everything about that place. The food (obviously) the atmosphere and the service was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We highly recommend this place who wants to try Indian food for the first time.
Decent little Indian buffet, everything was acceptable. I've been to some better places in different towns and cities, but this one was alright.
Went here with a buddy and had the lunch special. Everything was fresh, clean, and delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. Great experience especially for the price.
Great food, friendly service! Being from out of town, on a business trip, we hit the jackpot. We ate there both nights we stayed in Logan. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The place is clean and had a nice atmosphere. The owner is a really great guy. Great location too, after dinner, you walk around in downtown Logan.
Although I liked the lamb kurma, I've never known any Indian place to serve butter chicken with bone-in chicken. The menu generally could use some work
I might go here if it was the last restaurant in the state, nah not even then.
Dishes had delicious spices I have never experienced with other Indian cuisine.
Always there when I'm craving spicy foods.
Delicious food and affordable price when you do the lunch buffet. The chicken tikka masala and naan are the way to go! This was my first introduction to Indian food and I still love it after trying some other places!
Very tasty! About the best Indian food you'll get in Cache Valley. UPDATE: A year after my initial review. Still my favorite Indian restaurant in town. Added a star for how wonderful the owner is. I asked for very spicy and he triple checked to make sure because he "goes crazy". Even had me taste a small sample of it before sending me on my way (ordered to go) just to ensure it was to my liking. Apparently other people have asked for "Indian hot" but then thought it was too hot.
Food was great and servers were friendly. We will be going back.
Absolutely the best Indian food I have ever had, and I've been to many places in Utah and California; really exceptional; good service and atmosphere too.
I've driven past this restaurant a thousand times and wondered if the food was any good. My husband and I had an impromptu date night yesterday and wanted to try something new so we went to Indian Oven. The owner quickly greeted us at the door and sat us down. It was clean and inviting and thinking about the food makes my mouth water. 5 stars isn't enough! Oh plus they ask you how hot you want your food so if you're scared of spicy food you don't have to be. Go try it! It's authentic and so much more fun than going to the same old boring places. I can't wait to go again!
We went to Lunch buffet 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I am not sure, if buffet is everyday. We went there on Friday around 1:00 PM. about $9 Food quality is very good, since we like Indian food, we do go to many Indian restaurants , in Southern California. I think chef at this restaurant has good skill, so we are planning to go dinner next time and order a food which were not on buffet menu. a little bit unexpected to find any Indian restaurant in Logan, but all it take is one good chef.
My boyfriend and I just moved to Logan and I've really been missing my local Indian restaurant back home so we decided to try this place. We were a bit nervous because we're really picky about our Indian food. We had the chicken tikki masala and the chicken saag with naan bread. We were NOT disappointed. The owner was very friendly and the service was great! We will definitely be back.
Very good authentic Indian food. I was visiting Logan and wanted some good Indian food...And I found it at Indian Oven!
Friendly staff with delicious food. This place is never terribly busy and always worthwhile.
Very disappointed guys not pick my phone
The food here was amazing! The server was also very attentive. I will definitely come back
This is well executed North Indian fare. If you want it non-whiteboy hot, you have to ask very clearly for it to be "not white person hot, but Indian hot". Other than that, it's good. You might not even think it's Utah when you go there.
I eat here at least once a week. There has not been a meal I have tried that I didn't like and the lunch buffet is a killer deal. The staff is friendly and they remember my orders. I would recommend Indian Oven to anyone.
My husband and I frequented here when we lived in Logan. We love it, have to stop by when we visit. Always good service and fantastic food. Always get the garlic naan with your meal!
Great place to eat. Always clean with a friendly staff. Haven't had a bad meal yet.
No lunch buffet any more. Over priced "specials". Too bad, this was once a great restaurant.
This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Food is always fresh, flavorful, and well priced. Service is always great and the atmosphere is very fun. I don’t think it rivals the other Indian restaurant in town at all, this one takes the cake EVERY SINGLE TIME. They are quick and there is always room to sit in comfort; you don’t feel like you’re crammed on top of the other patrons (unlike the other restaurant in town where there’s always a wait and you’re constantly elbowing or tripping over someone in your proximity). We’ve recently moved to Salt Lake and I have yet to find a place that I love just as much as The Indian Oven. Fingers crossed, but at this point I know that we’ll just have to take a little trip up to Logan to feed our apetite for great Indian cuisine :)
Chicken Tikka Masala as spicy as possible
Best Indian food in Logan bar none! I recommend rice pudding! I have not been disappointed no matter the menu item. Nice to see an Indian restaurant that doesn't "make" food to fit preconceived notion of American Indian cuisine. If want they can adjust spiciness to your taste but doesn't have to be "spicy".
My favorite place in Logan Utah. I can eat hear everyday if i could. Ash is an amazing cook and as an owner he really interacts with customers. He makes you feel like family . his cuisine is amazing . he is an artist when it comes to the art of cooking!
The food is excellent. I've wanted to visit this restaurant for years, but have had bad timing or been in the mood for other types of cuisine. Today, I wanted Indian and had the time and was not disappointed. The service was a little off: we had hardly been seated when the waitress askex to take our order. I said we'd need a few minutes and she returned in a minute and a half. I said I didn't think we were quite ready, but she just stood there and watched us talk and stare at each other in disbelief. She was very pleasant, but I think she didn't understand us. She asked if this was all together (there were 2 of us) and I replied yes and I ordered Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka Biryani, and Veggie Korma. These are three large dishes, but she turned to my companion and asked what he would like. We had to reply 3 times in 2 different ways that the food was for all of us. Then she separated the dishes into 2 distinct checks at the end and we had to explain to the cashier. She kept trying to fill already-full water glasses every few minutes, but then disappeared for half an hour when we were ready to pay. Strange, but nice. Delicious!
Great ambiance. We have eaten there many times and have always enjoyed our meals. The lamb tikka is so tender and the spices and sauce are heated to your tastes, so enjoy! When I get the cravings, I drive two hours because it's just that good!
My wife and I went on our first date there when they were in the gas station 12 years ago. Everything was amazing there. It's been our favorite restaurant ever since. Whenever we were back in the valley, we'd make effort to get to the Indian Oven for dinner! I've tried Indian from many places in Utah trying to find something as tasty as the Indian food I'd eat in England, and the Indian Oven is by far the best in Utah. Comments about bland and selectionless food may be focused on the buffet... I'm not sure because I always order my entrees and spice it to my taste. This is my favorite restaurant.
Good lunch buffet
I always love coming here. Friendly staff and amazing food.
Yummy food! Good service. Clean bathrooms
One of my coworkers and I come here at least once a week, for either for lunch or dinner. The food is always amazing and the staff is as friendly as they come. Hands down, best Indian food in Logan!
Best tomato soup I have ever had! The lamb masala was really good. The service was great. The gentleman who served us was nice enough to bring me a rice pudding for my birthday.
Do you love lamb??? Do you love tiki masala?? Well...this place has the best lamb tiki masala!! Owner is a great guy. He walks around and makes sure everything is perfect! If you have time during the day, check out their lunch buffet! Gives you a lot of options if you are not sure what you would like.
Great food. The lunch buffet went away, but they have a great special that gives you the variety you want. I have always thought it tastes better fresh anyway. We went in a little early before it was busy and chatted a bit with the owner. He was super friendly and swapped out one of the items on the special for us.
Great food, great dining
I do not consider myself a food critic or even a critic for that matter but I felt compelled to write this review after taking my wife out for lunch this afternoon for what turned out to be the worst Indian food I have ever had. This is not Indian curry by a long shot – every dish on the buffet was bland and did not consist of the usual flavorful spices. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a tomato base, very strange. The other two dishes, one a yellow curry and the other a green bean in green curry were so under flavored we both had a difficult time eating what we had placed on our dishes. The staff was friendly was the only positive note – save yourself the disappointment and avoid this restaurant.
We came for the buffet. The price has been increased to $10.95 and the selections were very limited. We ordered from the menu and had a delicious lunch. Special compliments for the rice pudding. We will be delighted to return for a menu-ordered meal but not for the buffet.
Not as good as tandoori oven but not as busy.
Love to come here with hubby and enjoy the delicious food topped of by a mango lassi!
We went in for their lunch buffet only to discover they no longer offer one. They do have a lunch special and we both decided to try it.... so good! It really was better than food that's been sitting on the buffet table. The owner was so kind to stop at our table to speak to us... making sure we knew he appreciated our business.
Delicious, very fresh, friendly service.
We love this place. By far the best Indian food restaurant around. We have been coming here bi-weekly for about 3 years now and can never wait until the next time.
The food here is excellent. This is definitely a favorite place to eat in Logan.
Excellent service, better food! An authentic taste of India!
This isn't the best Indian food I've ever had, but in predominately bland Logan Utah, it's a surprising gem. The lunch buffet is a good deal, but it isn't very spicy. For spicy food, go for dinner and request it at the time of order. The ambiance is appropriate. It doesn't feel like you're inside Chili's, which is the point. Everything I've had tasted fresh and was good.
The paneer masala is unbelievably good. Anytime I’m within 50 miles of Logan I make a special trip just for that. Also a huge fan of the chicken vindaloo and sweet naan. The staff are friendly and professional and it’s a nice dining environment.
The food was incredible. The owner was very polite and friendly. Our waitress was so nice. We had quit the feast and the price was very affordable. I will be back many time in the future.
First time there. Good food. Good service. Will go again for sure
I loooove their food! Their service was really nice! I love their atmosphere! Their curries didn't taste just like paste or instant, it tasted like it was from scratch. It was actually spicy!! Just how I like it! It was "oh it's spicy so be careful" and you find out that it really isn't. I'd love to come here again!!
Service was extremely slow and poor quality.
I’ve been coming to the Indian Oven for years. As someone who’s traveled the world eating at many Indian food restaurants you can be assured this restaurant won’t disappoint. Excellent food, Very accomodating and friendly staff.
Best Indian food we've ever had. Very attentive staff and very reasonable
We're eating at Indian Oven as I write this, for the ??th time, and it's just fantastic. Terrific food and staff and a cool environment. The dishes are genuine and varied. It's all professionally done. It's a place I'm always proud to bring visitors.
Delicious garlic naan-and everything else!
Just about everything you order at Indian Oven is delicious. Helpful staff, very reasonable prices.
The food is very good. I had the lamb curry and my fiancé had the shrimp vindaloo, and both were excellent meals. The only thing that I would advise anyone going here is to be mindful that like many Indian/Asian restaurants the portions are not large. We were given one bowl of rice between the two of us, which I've seen as common serving practice at other exotic restaurants such as this.
Good food with very attentive service. You get to choose your level of spiciness.
A great victory lap for dinner, great for any time or occasion, definitely very good at listening and crafting dishes.
Great place for Indian cuisine. Excellent vegetarian options. Polite and friendly staff!
My mouth waters every time I think about their Chicken Tikka Masala. Medium spice was perfect for me. Will return for sure!
The Lamb Tikka Masala is the best on the menu! Can't go wrong with any flavor of Naan. The Chef is amazing and walks around and interacts with the customers. I would also the daily lunch buffet. Has many didn't choices and flavors for anyone who is new to Indian food.
Super yummy Indian food. The open bar let's you try new things without the risk of buying something you don't like. I liked everything I tried.
Is my favorite place in town.
The food was so good! Friendly hosts too. And the place is just comfortable. I would recommend coming here if you like Indian flavors!
Wonderful Place for Indian food. Everything taste so good. Even the rice was amazing. I had Chicken Tikka Masala. The staff was very friendly and Patrick was a great waiter. A hidden gem. Ash, the owner, even came by to make sure everything was great.
Yay!! My mouth was happy to find you!!!
I'm a local to Logan, Ut and I have been dinning at the Indian oven for years. The Food is very flavorful and the owner is a very talented chef and has many awards to his name. If you are looking for a new experience this is the place to do it! Check out the website and the Facebook page for more info!
Food at this place reminded me of home. Don’t be surprised if the owner stops at your table by to say hi. And the prices are very reasonable.
Good food and good prices. The vibe of the overall restaurant is really nice. I only docked a star because our booth could have been wiped down a bit better.
Went with my friends to have some good Indian food on a Friday night. The restaurant is okay with average service & their spoons were not clean. We ordered three dishes and garlic naans (a couple were undercooked). When we asked for the check, the owner lady gave us a rough check with an additional gratuity of 18% on our bill (handwritten) which was really ridiculous. If someone doesn't like food, he/she doesn't tip. When we asked her about this so called gratuity, she was like "This is a restaurant and this is America". This was so rude, we wanted to give at least 25% tip but her behavior ruined everything. Never going to this place again which is full of shallow minded people especially the owner lady who will judge you every time. No wonder why this place has not received any accolades after 2011.
Best Indian food in town! The food is superb and very authentic. Plus the ambiance is great and the staff is authentic and very friendly
Indian Oven is by far our favorite place to eat in Logan! They have great service and amazing food (especially the Paneer Masala). Thanks Indian Oven!
Pretty good flavor, and it's usually not too busy or crowded. Pretty mild as Indian food goes, so if you like spice, ask for more heat.
Great food at the Indian Oven just hit all the right spots for my Indian food cravings. Enjoyed the garlic naan and chicken tika Marsala. The curry lamb was spicy and tasty! Great rice. My only complaint is that my stomach is to small for all the food.
Delicious food, good service. We got there before 6 but we were served in less than 15 minutes. So unique and nice change from other frequented places. Quiet, except the constant sizzle from the kitchen. You could see flames coming from the kitchen from our table.and nice atmosphere. The 3 of us had chicken marsala, lamb Curry and lamb something else. It was all good. Filled me up, but not huge portions.
Told the owner-chef that If I died right after eating all that yummy food, I woulda died happy. And that it would've been a fitting last supper, never mind what I haven't accomplished yet in life. Figured I'd write this anyway, since I still lived long enough to tell the story... Kulfi was divine and I'd eat three of those things by myself if I wanted to. Great hospitality, beautiful mini-museum of a restaurant, funny and kind owner-chef, amaaaaaaazing mindblowing food and lassi. Everything. What a gem of a place. First time there a few hours ago, great first impression. Best Indian food so far, and now one of few favorite restaurants.
We love this place and the staff and owner are very friendly and pleasant to talk too. He is also always happy to take our anniversary picture for us! We love the food! The curries and naan are fantastic. We love this place!
Drool.... We love this place so much!
Great food
Great food! Nice people.
You've gotta try the Coconut Veggie dish, mmm delicious.
Its pretty good if you like paying the same amount for a little bit of average Indian food as you would for a ton of high quality food anywhere else. Also you might enjoy Indian Oven if you're into the most expensive rice on the planet. The owner was a cheapskate and Indian Oven made my night bad.
Best Indian food in Utah. If you like it hot, this is the place!
Not as good as I hoped and its over priced for what you get spend $75 for 4 people
The food was delicious and and great family feel I will be back the staff is great prompt on refills and very knowledgeable about Indian food
My dad used to bring us here all the time and I would protest...BUT now that I’ve left the state I compare any Indian food I eat to this restaurants! The chicken coconut korma and the tandoori chicken are the BEST!!
My husband and I love Indian Oven. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and I like that I see the owner and his wife every time I go in.
We came in for the lunch buffet today and though it was the last few minutes, they were wonderful! They made fresh naan for us and it all tasted marvelous. The owner is always very kind and is a talented chef. Very authentic and flavorful food selections.
Yummy ginger garlic naan! If u think u don't like lamb, JUST try the lamb curry, you'll order some to take home! Very attentive staff & great atmosphere! By the way I've eaten there alot & it's all been good.
Great food great price. Always been a favorite. They're hot could be hotter though haha.
Love the food and the service.
Love the food and the chef/owner Ash is such a pleasure to chat with!
Good service, unfortunately the food wasn’t good as I expected.
