Had dinner here on Saturday. Run by very nice people. Speed of service was normal. Ordered two dishes: Vegetable Coconut Korma which was 4 out of 5 stars and the Mushroom Mutter which was 10 out of 5 stars. The Garlic Naan was also great. Even though the portions would be considered average size, I will definitely go back because the Mushroom Mutter was out of this world!

Amazing service and even better food!!! I am sitting here in awe inside the restaurant right now. They brought us our order before my wife had even gone to the bathroom. Our waters were filled at every glance, multiple helpers came to see we were enjoying our food. Our waiter in specific had answered a question to see if they could make me a special cheese naan and he brought it out with a smile. They went above and beyond what we expected. At first glance, the portion seemed small until we started eating. Wow we were impressed at how much meat was in each portion. My wife couldn't finish all of hers even. For orders, my wife had the chicken coconut korma - which is a tan/orange looking curry with an amazing coconut flavor. I had the chicken sag - which is a green spinach and white sauce mix, green in color of course. We both got mild levels of spice. We will definitely be coming here again! 5 stars from an athletic couple who eats out every night at different cuisines.

Surprising great place. It didn't look much from the street, but inside it was super clean, great service and delicious food. We had chicken tikka masala and lamb korma. The also have Taj Mahan beer, which one added flavors to the experience. Service was great. Will come back once in the area again.

2019- This has become our favorite take out restaurant! The food is consistently delicious and satisfying! The take out portions are good sized and the food stays warm without getting mushy during the drive. (Photo of our bowls of food at home). 2017- Long wait time, but it was worth it! The food was amazing! Customer service and vibe leave something to be desired, but the food seriously makes up for it!

We like to come here for their lunch buffet. I get the white rice and butter chicken and naan bread. That's enough to make me feel like I got my money's worth. We try to avoid coming right at noon. When we come close to one, the place has lots of customers but most are full from eating and the servers can stay on top of the food no problem.

We had dinner here and it was great, the food had a wonderful flavor. I just wish the portion sizes were a little bigger for the price, and the naan bread wasn't quite as good as other Indian restaurants I've been to. Other than that it would have been 5 stars. I’ve never tried the buffet which is why I said I think. I will be coming to this place often. Brings back memories from my childhood growing up in the UK where we have Indian restaurants all over the place.

The worst Indian food we have ever had! The butter chicken tasted like carrots, like the base of the curry was made with ground carrots! "Gross!" It did not taste like butter chicken at all! The lamb sag tasted like grass clippings, not like lamb sag at all! It was also very runny, like they had watered it down to make it go further. The goat curry was nothing but fat and bones, It was Just HORRIBLE! We also got the food to go and for the price, the portions were pathetic! We wont be back. Don't waste your money, India palace or Bombay is far better food with better portions!

Wonderful authentic cusine!! We love the naan bread as well. The sauces are so yummy. The menu is loaded with delightful and savory Indian dishes of lamb, chicken, vegetarian and seafood. I really like that each dish can be prepared in mild, medium or hot spice levels.

This place is a great bargain for what you end up paying. The service is good, the ambiance is a bit weird, but it’s because I used to come to this place when it was a wingers so I’m probably biased. You can legitimately get one meal for two people no problem and the gnam bread is good.

The food is amazing. I tried goat meat for the first time it was wonderful. Very fresh and tender. I hate goat milk but will definitely have goat meat again. The lunch buffet was plentiful with the dishes to choose from. If the menu dishes give you sticker shock remember you pay for what you get. They use fresh ingredients and prepare thier dishes in a traditional manner. PS. The Goat is Halal.

My husband and I were out in a date and really in the mood for Indian food. We'd gone to Ganesh before and it wasn't awesome, but good enough. This time, however, I don't know what the difference was, but holy cow was it good! Like really, really tasty! My husband ordered the chicken tiki masala, and I ordered the shrimp coconut curry and we also had their amazing garlic naan bread. I wanted to lick my bowl!!

Terrible wait times everytime I come here. Doordasher's nightmare. If you're a doordasher's STAY AWAY from these orders. You'll be waiting for food for at least 30 min everytime. I have had the misfortune of accepting multiple orders here. Horrible service, they mistake orders. Atmosphere is unclean and the music is blasting super loud. Do not order from this establishment. Even if the food is good/decent. Plenty of other Indian places with better food, service, and atmosphere.

We had the buffet at lunch. We generally really enjoy Indian food, but this was disappointing. Some food that was supposed to be hot was room temperature (cold). The rice was dry and there were only two dishes that weren't spicy! The garbanzo beans were undercooked. We only enjoyed two things on the buffet and then paid $25 for two buffets. It was too pricey for a lunch buffet with too little selection and just okay quality.

We recently watched A Hundred Foot Journey before going to this restaurant and it was just perfect! The host was wearing a suit and his wife is the chef. We went for the lunch buffet and it wasn't overwhelming but had enough different choices to give us good options. All of the options were really delicious and I am pretty sure that I ate more vegetables in that lunch than I have had in a week. The pictures on the walls seemed personal and it was a great touch. We highly recommend this place!

Every time I have been here the curry is fantastic, the coffee is the best I have had around these parts, and the staff is always on point. I think this place might have my favorite curry in all of utah so far in general (lamb, goat, chicken. All really good)

My boyfriend LOVES Indian food. It's his favorite. I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants and just was kind of over the mediocre restaurants. We decided to give Ganesh a try and I am so glad that we did! My love for Indian food is back!! We had the vegetable samosas, butter naan, chicken tikka masala and chicken sag. Best Indian food I have had in Utah, by far!! We will absolutely be back!! He wants to go again for his birthday in a couple of weeks.

Surprisingly good Indian food; quick and efficient service. Their lunch buffet is a subset of the main menu. The dinner menu is huge and may be a little intimidating, but the staff are happy to guide you. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant. Plenty of room in the back and at nearby businesses.

Sure yah, If you wanna overpay a considerable amount for some dried chicken and some curry flavored gravy, go for it. Just don’t wait till you are crying on your toilet 30 mins that you payed $50 bucks for food poisoning with taco time next door.

I really enjoy Ganesh. The restaurant has a slightly self-conscious, family-run feel which is very approachable and authentic, the staff is attentive and the food is wonderful without trying too hard. Their lunch buffet is varied and delicious; the dishes on the buffet rotate, but they always serve Chicken Tiki Masala, which is imported straight from heaven. I also recommend their Biryani dishes, and the Sag Paneer.

I was a little disappointed with the offering at Ganesh. I paid about $12 for a lunch buffet, but the food was very bland and not the best quality. The naan was the best thing there; the chicken tikka masala was nothing to write home about, it tasted like it was out of a can. Not really sure it is all made there in the restaurant, and I believe Indian Cuisine is supposed to be a lot more flavorful than that. Overall, wasn't satisfied paying what I paid and eating what I ate. Service was great though, no complaints there.

The food was tasty. I especially liked how tender the tandoor chicken was, and how tender the lamb masala was. Two negatives: 1) we waited an hour before our food came out and there was no communication during the entire time about what was going on or what was taking so long, 2) some of the dishes seemed a bit pricey for what they were, particularly the Aloo Gobi.

The food here is good. They have all of your typical Indian dishes and much more. I feel for the price though it could be better and the portion sizes larger. Their prices are the same as some of my favorite (and far better) Indian restaurants in Provo and Salt Lake City. If their prices matched the quantity and quality, I'd have given them 4 stars. I would've given them another star had the service been better. They weren't friendly and the food took a long time to arrive. I doubt we'll come back anytime soon.

Excellent Indian cuisine with South Indian dishes which are rare in the US. I suggest the following: mango lassi drinks, Gobi Manchurian (get it spicy and eat it as an entree with rice and naan), chicken tikka masala, Masala dosa, uppatam. And for dessert pistachio kulfi. Will eat there again and again when craving spicy food.

We started out eating Indian food at a more popular place and tried Ganesh one time because we didn't want tp drive far or wait. The first time we thought it was pretty good but the more we have gone the better it gets. We have never had to wait for seating or for our food very long. Its always enough food. Their shrimp curry (hot) is fabulous. Last night we went out on a limb and tried a few different items and they did not disappoint. This is our go to for Indian food in Utah County! Delicious!

Ganesh does have a menu, but I have never looked at it because all I want is their lunch buffet. It is a fairly small buffet, but it has really tasty items that I go back for at least a second time. Quantities are limited in the buffet, which is good because that means they are constantly bringing out fresh food. The service is good. They are very attentive to clearing used plates and refilling glasses. It's a small and quiet restaurant, without music blaring overhead, so it's very conducive to business meetings or conversations in general. I always leave satisfied and look forward to the next visit.

Love this place! I go for the lunch buffet of flavorful fresh Indian food (butter chicken, idili sambar, pakora vegetables, various other rice and curry dishes, rice pudding). Never had dinner here. For lunch they need to stock up on naan. I had to keep checking on it because there was no naan bread for almost the entire time I was there even after asking for more. The parking is fine, but they need to clean up the tumbleweeds. Tandoor in SLC is slightly better because they include mango ice cream with the buffet, but this place is really, really good too.

We were so happy to see that they offer their all-you-can-eat buffet for Saturday lunch. And I appreciated the fact that probably about half of the buffet items were vegetarian. We learned a sad lesson on our 22 anniversary, last night. Never to return to this establishment again, and we will warn our friends about the outrageous prices compared to the poor quality service and food. This was our meal tandoori chicken (bone in), rice, Currie in a small side dish of poorly made Currie and naan (two pieces of flat bread lightly brushed inside with mayby butter) the menu said stuffed with a incredibly mouth watering filling. Did I mention the chicken... 5 plain drumsticks on shredded ... Not sure what. $$$?? Near 40 bucks . this took almost an hour... I just gave them much more credit than they deserve. I have never given such hard review as this. We really felt like they didn't want us to return. .

I love Indian food, and have tried restaurants in several states as well as England. The quality of the chicken korma and chicken tika masala rivaled that of a good London restaurant. It was delicious. I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. I’d take half a star off because, like so much of fine dining, the dinner portions were a little small. We will go again—but we will order 3 dishes pet two people. Service was efficient and friendly.

Wow! I wanted a flavorful meal and that’s what we got. The Chicken Tikka Marsala was wonderful, especially when you dipped your naan in the sauce and my wife’s Vindaloo Chicken was great. It’s medium priced with meals between $14 and $18 (mostly $14-$15) and the food is more than worth the price.

One of my favorite destinations for lunch.Their buffet is great for the price/quality with plenty of vegetarian options as well as meat (mainly chicken). The Pakoras are great as well as their veggie coconut korma and the zucchini curry. If you come here for dinner , you also have plenty of options to choose from and the Malai Kofta is a great one (vegetarian) and the Chicken Tika Masala never disappoints.The same with their Naan bread and their lemon rice. The Lassi is decent enough , not the best either the worst. Good location , plenty of tables and space inside as well as parking.Usually more busy for lunch than for dinner.

Terrible! We ordered takeout and waited almost an hour for our food that we were told would take 20 minutes. Based on the small portion size, I expected the food to be delicious and high quality. It was neither. The chicken coconut kurma was very good, but the butter chicken, tikka masala and sag paneer tasted like the restaurant had run out of spices. Sag paneer tasted like bland creamed spinach and the butter chicken and tikka masala tasted like watered down tomato paste. I also found what appeared to be small chunks of bone throughout the tikka masala. I was so incredibly disappointed. I dont understand why they have good reviews.

It is great quality food, and my order is always correct and completed quickly when I call ahead. If you like the food at Bombay House, you'll love Ganesh. It's better and less expensive.

We came in 5 minutes before closing, and the Staff at Ganesh was happy to let us still order anything on the menu, and the food from here is always delicious! They cater very well to my wife’s diet by having so many gluten-free & vegetarian/ vegan options.

AMAZING. Best Indian food in Salt Lake and I don’t mean that lightly, I’ve tried them all. Don’t let the funny strip mall exterior fool you. Creamy, flavorful, traditional. Service can be a little slow, but staff is all from India, making it an authentic experience (with Bollywood videos on display!) They have a nice lunch buffet too. If you want to try some traditional Indian street food order the Chole Bhatura. You can’t get it anywhere else in town and it’s to die for.

Cozy place. DELICIOUS FOOD! VERY INDIAN TASTY! The service is very generous. Good price. I just don't give 5 stars because the food took a little longer to arrive. Maybe one waiter more would fix that because it was very busy. But really recommended. Very Worth it!

Of all the restaurants in the city, this is one of the must-tries. The food is delicious, the naan is the best I've ever had. The host is a really nice guy. My daughter and I connect over the buffet lunch from time to time, and it's a cozy, comfortable feeling when we're there. I don't remember what it's called, but the coconut-based soup they make sometimes is amazing. They even grow some of their own herbs and vegetables! If you're anywhere near American Fork, you've got to try Ganesh.

We had to wait quite a while but it was Valentine's Day after all. I had the lamb coconut korma, it was fantastic! Well worth the 15 bucks. Give this place a try, you'll enjoy it.

The food was very good, but the service was not. We arrived before 7, and literally didn't start eating til after 8pm. It wasnt til after we had received our check, after 9pm that someone came back to our table to offer us more drinks or water. Very disorganized.
