REVIEWS OF Ganesh Indian Cuisine - Park City IN Utah

Ethan Lake

This little place packs a pretty nice environment; not crowded at all, calming music, somewhat fast service. Definently mastered the Naan bread flat and crisp, just like good naan should be. Kind staff gave us some complimentary extra food for having a large order. Definitely worth a try.

Missi O Missi

Decent food. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere!

Marcus Phillips

Amazing food! Really good cooking. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Attentive staff. Clean restrooms. Perfect!

Lina Macia

Delicious Food for an affordable price in a Sky town

Tim Mcguire

Visited here for dinner on a Saturday night. Restaurant was fairly empty, the hostess, the waiter, and to go order taker were all the same person. The waiter was on the phone taking a order at the same time he was standing at our table in the middle of taking our order, we were asked to hold as he finished taking the phone order. What a joke. Portions were small, but really good. Overall totally not worth the price.

josh johnson

Really good food and decently priced. Will definitely eat here more often

Alvin Wong

Went for lunch, good prices and delicious food.

Uliti Fangupo

I called and asked if this was a indian buffet and he said no and hung up. I called back to ask about their lunch special then hung up on him. -mich drop-

Very tasty

I've not had a single bad experience with Ganesh. Easily the best Indian food in Utah. I get the same vegetable coconut korma every time because it is truly euphoric to eat, the flavors hit your mouth instantly. the breads are also A+. My boyfriend really enjoys the garlic naan. I've had the potato paratha and the roti (with added garlic) and they are so so delicious. The service is always good and I will be returning to Ganesh for as long as I live in Park City.

Stefan Spich

Solid food, some nice options on the menu. Service was a bit uneven but worked. Nice to see South Indian food on the menu.

Ray Greer

This is the real deal!!!! Excellent, authentic Indian cuisine. Ganesh is fairly new to Park City and we're delighted they're here. "This is the place" - for Indian food. Try the sweet naan with chicken masala

Michael Johnson

The food was sooooo good. We ordered the vegan Aloo Mutter, Coconut Korma, and Aloo Saag. The flavors were amazing and hit the spot!

Dl Booher

Beautiful, delicious food. Great lunch specials. Their curries are divine.

Tina Schopp

Very good authentic Indian food!

Tony Shouse

Yum

Jamin Hancock

Garlic naan! Ahhh!

pallavi jain

It was good to find an Indian restaurant amidst a place which is full of eateries other than Indian. The food however was quite average. Service was good.

Pooja Mehta

No taste in food. Very less quantity!.

Jacob Dixon

It was a good place. Good service and a good atmosphere, but the price was a bit high for the quality of the food. The food was not bad but I have had car better for cheaper.

Jason Widelitz

This place is awesome. Portions were huge, people were kind good was delicious.

Tyson Thomas

Really don't understand how this is a 4.5, it must be just getting reviewed by people that haven't experienced good Indian food. We were the first ones to get there when it opened at 5pm on a Friday. First red flag was a few minutes after ordering they told us they had ran out of lettuce and could not make the salads. On a Friday night?? Then I ordered the mulligatawny soup. Smelled and tasted exactly like canned soup. Now for the grand finale. I always judge an indian restaurant based on how well they make chicken tikka masala. It needs to be thick and full of spices. This was very watery and also smelled like canned soup! They can't even be bothered to make things originally and are using cans for their dishes! This was the worst (and most expensive) Indian food I have ever eaten.

Ash Thompson

I usually don't review places, but I felt the need to here as we hold Indian food practically sacred. :P I've updated my review as well due to my boyfriend becoming immediately sick after eating here which never happens with us and Indian restaurants. Although he and I had completely different dishes, they looked exactly the same (i.e. masala vs. curry) just as the other reviewer said "like canned soup." The mild here is more on the medium/hot levels compared to other Indian restaurants in which we eat at various ones several times a month. My boyfriend who takes his extra spicy felt like his was also spiced incorrectly with more of a medium spice level. (Seemed like a mix up in the kitchen). The rice reminded us of the instant boxed rice with no flavor as well. The service was about average. The ambiance is relaxing and very clean though, esp the bathrooms! Again I hate writing a poor review, but do save your money and choose another place. *We have also been to the other location in Salt Lake County before and the food is about the same quality.

Michael Rains

Delicious, fresh, a real hidden gem. I highly recommend the lunch special, I prefer the lamb tikka masala and it comes with a arrangement of sides that are delicious as well. You will want to come back and try everything.

Navin narayana

Went with my family. Food was good and simple

Michael Larsen

We had the chicken tika masala and the chicken coconut korma with an order of garlic cheese naan. It was some of the best Indian food we've had. Very highly recommended!

Deepak Borkar

Very expensive. Meat not cooked properly. $17 for goat curry was too exorbitant for uncooked meat and measly quantity. Poor service. Nan was saving grace. If you are Indian definitely avoid to prevent from being disappointed.

Josh C

The staff is very friendly and attentive. All around a positive experience and the food smells delectable

Lindsey Adams

Do not eat here. We are so disappointed. The portions are tiny...we left feeling like we had an appetizer and then needed to go get real food. The naan was half the regular serving and the portions of the sagpaneer and lamb coconut korma were child size. The korma barely had any actual lamb and both dishes were extremely bland all for the cost of $50.

Venuganan Venkatesan

Food was very good, so as the place.. We came in with so much hunger and returned back with full stomach.. That's what any restaurant need to do.. So I am very glad with my visit

Lena Watson

Worst dining experience of my entire life. Myself & a friend went there last night. After we ordered, the whole restaurant was filled with the sound of violent arguing coming from the kitchen. So my friend and I decided to step outside for a minute-left our purses on the table.... the guy by the front door wouldn't let us leave! (Illegal FYI) Then the moron realized our purses were still on the table and finally let us by. Though we had only had a small appetizer on the table, they assumed we were going to dine & dash due to the entire restaurant hearing the awful arguing. Food is ok, but the people running the place are a joke & we will never go back.

kirk iliev

The food was very good, and service was great. We loved the chicken vindaloo, chicken karahi and the biryani rice.

Em Miz

Tried the coconut chicken and the paneer massala and both were delicious and reasonably portioned. The naan bread was a bit thin for me, more like a tortilla than a bread. Even though there was only one waiter in the place, service was still good. The restaurant was simply furnished, but I liked how it was in a quiet part of town away from all the hubbub. We will be coming back the next time we visit Park City!

Self Clinch Sales

Coconut chicken is to die for! LOVE it!

Charles Franklin

I eat Indian often with my coworkers in Dallas. When comparing this location in Salt Lake I'd say it is just average.

William Wade

They have a great lunch menu. Delicious food and reasonable pricing. Will definitely go back.

Adele Barbosa

We read a Utah blog saying this was a great place to eat in Park City. We were wrong! It wasn’t great and I’m fairly certain the chicken we were eating came from a can. The whole party felt queasy afterwards. Wouldn’t go back or recommend to anyone. Unless you want subpar food.

Matt Lavin

The servers seemed really busy and the service was not the best. It was very hard to communicate with the servers. The food itself was fine but smaller portions than if expect. The trandoor chicken was generous. I'd look for a new Indian place before going back

Aanika Fraga

Great tasting food. The portion sizes were pretty small for how much they cost. The service was just ok. They were nice but they were under staffed and not the best.

David L.

I had the butter chicken and it was wonderful.

Artiom Andrejev

Place was excellent. Food was very good and service was timely!

Chris Hymas

Great place. Quiet. Delicious

Susan Tilidetzke

Excellent food. Excellent service. Best restaurant that I've been to in Park City/Canyons all week. Highly recommend to people trying Indian food for the first time.

Phil Bretts

Had the chicken Tina masala and bitter chicken... the sauces are flavorful but it’s a shame they don’t prep the chicken. They literally throw plane pieces of dry unprepared chicken knto the sauce which takes away the flavor of the sauce. Indian restaurants will marinate the meat before throwing k to sauce and chicken will be of a pinkish color, here it is plain chicken no seasoning or marinating

Joe Salvador

Good selection, great flavors, good service.

Siva Sankar Gunda

Host was wonderful and helped us pick traditional dishes they offer. Great food and nice interior. Liked their chicken 65

David Brown

I eat here all the time. Love the chicken saag, aloo mutter, chana masala and the naan bread. The spice level varies a lot, be careful.

Andrew Echlin

Mediocre lamb vindaloo for $18? I'll pass

Tony Passey

You have to know what to order here and once you do it's amazing. Sag Paneer, Chicken Coconut Korma and Chana Masala here are excellent. I read the review of the moron that gave it one star cause he didn't like the Tikka Masala. I don't love it either. But there over 100 items on the menu. Garlic Naan is amazing too!

Matt Gross

Had the lunch special, which was plenty of food for the price and fairly inexpensive. Would definitely recommend, or revisit. The food was amazing.

Brett Sorensen

Went for dinner tonight and it was incredible! I can't believe it took me so long to discover this place... but I'm glad we did. We'll be back again and again.

Lyali Rodriguez

Tasteless food we are very disappointed in this experience. we normally visit the American Fork location and the food they are way way better and on top of the food not being good the price is very expensive. I normally don't give reviews Unless Iam very very disappointed.

David Kofford

If you don't know what good Indian restaurants can offer then you'll likely be satisfied. Rather expensive for rather terrible food. Everything was just so subpar; the tikka masala tasted like tomato soup. I won't go back.

Rajiv Bharadwaja

Average place for Indian food. They used the same sauce for two different dishes ... tut, tut.

Jon Beaulieu

Everything was great but I ordered something that came on a sizzling skillet, like at sizzler. I guess they heated the skillet too much because even the guy who brought it to me was choking and gagging. Eventually the entire restaurant was coughing, children were crying, and I was eating my meal with my girlfriend as a mushroom cloud of noxious gas billowed up from my plate. It was delicious.

Candy Marie

I don't know what people are talking about in their reviews saying the food is gross or you get small portions or bad service because none of that is true. Me and my boyfriend cane here tonight may 27 and it's was delodelic and the portoopo are big! Also service was amazing anytime are drinks got half way full he came and filled it.

Richard Bucholz

Good butter chicken

Radhika Vemulapalli

Not up to mark. Quantity is not relevant with price.

David Smith

Service was good and friendly but the food was very bland.

Jeffery Walston

Awesome authentic India cuisine. Some of the best India food I have had in Utah. Highly recommend if you are in Park City.

Park City Hostel

This restaurant is one of our favorite local spots to frequent and our employees, as well as guests, go here at least once a week! Truly a wonderful addition to the Park City food choices.

Kashinath Gowlikar

Good Indian food.

Kerry Bender

Tried the chicken tikka masala with medium spice. It was excellent.

Brian Kemler

Slow service, food tasted like it came from a can. Very processed, sugary and bland. The food even looked bad. For instance the tomato soup had little grease bubbled and the sag paneer had almost no spinach and looked like baby food purée. the bread was excellent but they charged $6 for papadum and overall was way too expensive.

Kiley Monson

Everything was gross, very bland, couldn't even taste the curry. It tasted like they used tomato soup out of a can in my Tikka masala. Sub par at best. I love Indian food. I have been made dinner by a close friend from India and I loved it but this food was far below it. 2 out of 10. Be careful with the high star rating, it fooled us!

Thomas Anthony

I enjoyed coming here a lot. The Indian food wasn't the absolute best and it was a little pricey. But it was still really good and the service was incredible. The waiter we had was incredibly nice.

Will Clark

Great food attentive service!!

Jeff Johnson

Lamb Saag!

Caleb Marsh

Great food! Portions were decent sized as long as you ask for more rice

Krishna Gaurav

To start with, they have clean and classy bathrooms, a rarity in Indian restaurants :) . It's on the quieter side of park city , a little away from the downtown. It's run by a family and the staff are very friendly and calm. The food is delicious. We ordered Lamb Korma and I think its one of the best I have had. Just the right amount of spices when you choose medium ( guidelines for my non - Indian friends around here) . They might be on the pricier side but two side dishes, rice and bread for $35 is still not budget breaking. Give this place a try for a quite relaxed and satiating meal.

Sumesh Nair

Food was mediocre, our water was never refilled, and my plate was taken away as i was eating. Wont be returning

Becky Edwards

Excellent food!

Lauren Curran

Delish!

Dante Marone

Staff was friendly and food was good. Garlic naan was crispy and garlicky. The tikka masala sauce tasted a little like tomato soup which is why I docked it a star.

Michelle Baker

Very friendly. Wonderful food. Clean and fast.

Andy Ashford

Authentic, tasty food, decent portion sizes. Very pleasant service and great atmosphere. Plenty of seating for a group.

HARDEEP SINGH SANDHU

Awesome food , great ambiance , good location & best prices.... highly recommended...

REBECCA Amici

Ganesh catered our daughter's wedding. Everything was first class with personal attention to the details. The food was, of course, fantastic and the servers were professional and thorough. Mango Lassi and samosas for appetizers, all sorts of entrees, mango ice cream, Indian coffee and tea for dessert! It was perfect!

Arun Verma

Great food and Great Service.

David Lynn

Good service, solid food.

Lalitha Iyer

Had bhindi masala and dal was so good. They made the dal non spicy. Also they made custom changes for my son. The food was not over the top and my infant loved it

Javier Barberena

Excellent India food. Lots of options in the menu. The menu offers gluten free items. You could ask for the level of spicy you would like in your dish option. Free parking at front and back of the restaurant.

Shane Molis

The garlic naan was really good. Their chicken korma was so good. I couldn't get enough of it!

Cortney Christensen

Best Indian food in park city. Been looking for something this good for years!

Jasen Egolf

Awesome food, service was amazing, and restaurant was very clean!

Justin Falzone

Place is legit!

Nachiket Patil

It is one of the best indian restaurant in slc and pc area.

ohmyheck31

Excellent food and service! I will return to this nice restaurant!

Miles Bronstein

Good food

Randy Minck

Mixed grill was mediocre.

Neha Priya

Authentic Indian food. South Indian food not available

Silvia Gray Eddington

Delicious food, great atmosphere, very clean. I highly recommend! Best place for Indian food!!!

Royal B Stowe

My wife and I took two coworkers/friends that are from Hyderabad India to this restaurant. They thoroughly enjoyed their meal and said that it was very authentic. Of course I had to try the Hyderabad Chicken menu selection. It was very good, filling and the flavors we're excellent. My wife had the coconut shrimp and also enjoyed it very much. We asked them to take it easy on us when it came to the spice level. And they did! Our friends ate from the vegetarian menu which is quite large. Garlic naan was my favorite.

George Mabbutt

Extremely expensive, food is ok.

Woodson26 Woodson26

This is the worst Indian Restaurant I have ever eaten food from, and it’s a long list. The service was bad and rude, and I ordered takeout. I ordered Paneer Masala, and it was small chunks of paneer in V8 juice warmed up. Literally. Do not waste your time, and go to Bombay House in Salt Lake. There is no comparison at all. I won’t ever eat here again, I’m one and done. Waste of money and time. I go to Whole Foods and can get better masala sauce and have a waaaay better meal than this. It was just bad. How can people give this place 5 stars??? Ridiculous.

Debanjan Ghosh

Attn: Don’t waste your time or Money at this place. I took my parents to this restaurant Sunday May 20th, 2018. We ordered the tandoori platter, naan, dal makhani and chicken karahi. The only thing which was good were the naans. The portion of the dishes were more like kid size, the tandoori platter felt like was made a week ago or were the left over from a buffet, the dal makhani had raw onions and was taste less and looked and tasted like jail food, the karahi chicken had 5 small pieces of chicken floating in yellow water with raw uncooked bell peppers. To top it all of the management is combative, they are more worried about how much they can comp rather than the experience. Going to park city you expect to pay high prices but in return you expect amazing service. While we were eating they were cleaning the table tops as if we weren’t even there. I really wish this restaurant is replaced by Bombay House or India Palace or Saffron Valley or hell any thing else will be better. Part 2: I am so glad you replied- I guess You can't respond to a reply in google reviews, Below you will see the combative nature of of the management. If you have ever dinned in any restaurants in park city, hell for that matter McDonald the customer satisfaction is paramount not for these blokes. The reply below is actually polite you should have seen them in person, felt like I was in some street dhaba (roadside restaurant) fighting for 2 cent discount and was lying for it. Also anybody reading this please sort by lowest rating and you will find a common theme of how bad the food is, I am not the only one.

Taylor Christensen

Very good Indian cuisine. Recommend.

Adil Anwar

Very well kept; neat and tidy place. Wide variety of Indian dishes available. Very close to the Indian-authenticity in terms of food and spices. Dosa was ok. Indian coffee ( with cream/ milk ) was awesome. Will visit again

Beau Nidle

Warm wekcome from very friendly staff and excellent food options hotter than normally expected in a US curry house but fine for UK tastes, well worth a visit.

venkateswara rao Vemulapalli

Not up to mark. Not at all relevant food cost to that of quality and quantity

Prabhu Pep

Tried to have lunch on Sunday but it is closed. Website said it will be opened but it is closed so update same on your website.

Paul Kellogg

Pretty decent chicken masala but the portions are slim for $12, at this price point I'm used to having leftovers or feeding another person.

Zena Matthews

Great food!

Bradford Denham

We went to Ganesh with high expectations, as we've patronized there Midvale restaurant before. But tonight was a mixed message. Good flavor on our chicken vindaloo, the chicken coconut korma and the saag alloo. But it kind of went downhill from there. The order for the papadams was forgotten, so after quickly reminding the gentleman the papadams and chutney came out right before the main course. Not good. The butter naan was good tasting but tough as shoe leather. So I think this restaurant has a few kinks to work out before it becomes a four or five star restaurant. The waiter and manager offered us a free dessert but instead we declined and requested that they just take the papadams & watery chutney off the ticket. However, they failed to do that. Oh and that party from California was in there and was really noisy as there is no sound absorption in the room at all...so it was annoyingly loud (and probably the reason why the waiter didn't pick up on the poppadom order the first time.) Three stars.

Mandy Brown

Excellent food with great service! Definitely a hidden gem in Park City! I will definitely be coming back!

Kyria Cropper

Great flavors, fast and friendly

haranatha thummaluru

Very pricey. Small quantities. Lousy food. Avoid.

Ian Ferguson

Great atmosphere, amazing food, and friendly service! Must try! We had the curry chicken and the mixed grill (tandoori).

Garrett G

Good service, great food!

Andrew Hincks

Decent food. Was so much better when they had the Lunch Buffet on Thursdays. Please bring back the buffet!

Mckinly Estes

Wow, this place is so nice, friendly staff and outstanding food!

Adam M

The chicken tiki masala had a kick to it, which I hadn't tried before. It's my favorite masala yet. Quick service, clean place, great food.

amy grottolo

Excellent quality Indian food, love the lamb vindaloo, saag paneer, channa masala, and chicken tikka masala. Perfect!

Lauren Buxton

Great Food, Terrible Service. First, the good- The Indian food was delicious and authentic. The lamb naan and garlic naan were just wonderful. Our appetizers and entrees were also very good. The bad- the waitstaff were incompetent. The water guy was the only one doing his job and we got water refills frequently. The waiter was aloof and didn't have great English comprehension.. items we ordered didn't show up and then he argued with us saying we did indeed get the sweet naan when in fact he gave us two pieces of garlic naan. It took a very long time to order and actually recieve food. To top it off we tried to pay and the credit card (that had worked prior to and continued to work after) was "declined". It probably was operator error or their machine because other tables' had the same issue.

Kim Deimling

Fantastic, authentic Indian food made its way to Park City! We had the lamb curry and garlic naan. Both were amazing. Extensive menu, and while I'd like to try everything on it, I'm addicted to their curry. In fact, if they're open for lunch, I'm heading over now.

Parker estep

Great lunch special for a reasonable price this place is a hidden gem in park city!

JRas

My wife and I came for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by the inside of the restaurant. "Don't judge a restaurant by the outside." It has wonderful decor and professional staff. The inside is quiet and romantic. We were promptly greeted and brought to our seats. As another reviewer mentioned, the portions may not be the amount that you see at other restaurants for a similar price but we found the portion size to be the perfect amount. Then again being from a rural area, I don't get out to many restaurants. :) All of the food tasted wonderful! The next time I crave Indian cuisine, if I am anywhere close, Ganesh will be my priority! Thank you!* *This reviewer paid full price for their food and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only compensation was happy taste buds and tummy. If you want to experience the same, please go to Ganesh. :)

Spencer Nicholson

Food was absolutely gross. My chicken drum tasted like a hotdog. I love Indian food but this place was very sub par. The service tried to do their best but the food and atmosphere dragged the experience down

Jeff Borg

Best Indian cusine in park city!

Jeremy Footer

Really delicious flavor, time and care put into food however the portion sizes, for the price (for dinner) are quite small compared to other Indian restaurants. I know it's Park City and rents are more expensive but I would be willing to pay $1-$2 more if they increased the portion size. $14.99 for a chicken dish is quite expensive to still feel hungry afterwards. I would give them 4-5 stars if they gave you more food for most of the entree's (excluding biryani which is quite plentiful).

Terrible Sandwich

Great food, delicious.

Laurie Rockstad

Great Indian food. We enjoyed the noon buffet..

Shane Benhoff

The saag was delicious.

Lucero Massiel

Overpriced spicy not so Indian food

Prince Ehimamiegho

Great inexpensive Indian restaurant, love the food. The staffs are really friendly.

Lance Burrell

Best Indian food in Utah. I have tried many places and we always come back to Ganesh because no one measures up. The shrimp coconut korma or the Ganesh mixed tandoori grill are great choices. Plus, they play fun music videos that really add to the environmnent.

Sarah Agor

Just AWFUL! Ordered take out and not only did they fail to include Two entree orders and our order of naan, but the food was as terrible! Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala was the same sauce no t to mention with bones and cartilage in the butter chicken, and two of our very different vegetable dish orders were the same sauce! despite asking for it to be mild it was crazy spicy. The basmati rice wasn’t even basmati rice!!!! It was maybe at most 1/4 basmati mixed with 3/4 regular white rice. Do not waste our time or money for disgusting food!!!!

Sam

Food is traditional Indian style; protein served with a side of rice. I recommend Nan bread to go with a curry dish. Be warned ordering hot, not unbearable but hits hard. Rice pudding kheer is great to balance the spicy sauce.

Vastonik

It's a bit on the expensive side, especially for the small portion size. I think this is the best Indian food you can get in Utah, however. I'm no judge for authenticity, however.

Guido Guerra

First time eating indian food in a long time, and the experience was great. The food was well seasoned and not to overwhelming on the taste buds of someone not used to so much seasoning. The service was really good and professional with the main waiter helping me make a great choice in the chicken masala. The local is well lit and the music is quite pleasing. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try or doesn’t eat a lot of indian cuisine.

Michael Grollman

Tasty. Nice choice of spices. Would recommend the lamb Curry.

ali chung

Delicious authentic Indian food

Jimmy Ray Lockhart

Tikka Masala and the Naan bread is as good and authentic as it gets. My family and I get take out or go in for the lunch at least once a week. We love it!!!

Jeremy Lichliter

We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Park City. The food was delicious. The only downfall to the restaurant was that the restaurant did not seem to keep the dining area at a comfortable temperature during the summer heat. Besides it being a little warm in the restaurant, I would recommend this place.

Richard Steinberger

We came on a Thursday evening, about 8:45pm. The food was average at best, the mixed grill house special plate had very little vegetables, the meats tasted reheated and stale. Chewy and not tender for the most part. Lamb and shrimp dishes had very little meat, seemed very overpriced at $17 a dish for what you got. Sadly I can’t recommend this restaurant at all. The only plus side was that the service was friendly and fast. Then again it did taste like it was reheated so that explains the promptness.

Damian Stoy

Amazing food! Vegan and vegetarian options which is great. Love it!

Nancy Budd

We were very disappointed in our meal and the overall experience at Ganesh. The restaurant was nearly empty yet the service was spotty. Our server was unfriendly and unhelpful, but another server who helped him out was lovely. The lamb dishes we ordered tasted as if they had been made days before. Really rank. One dish (a lamb kabob that had been ordered med rare) was so tough and chewy each of us tried a piece and thought it was over-cooked goat, not lamb. Couldn't eat it. The lamb sheikh kabob tasted gamey- like old chewy sausage. We asked if they had pickle-- a mango chutney was brought instead and we were told it was a pickle. Sheesh. We love Indian food and had gone to Ganesh to celebrate a birthday. We would advise that you try Good Karma instead.

Manish Tamang

Freaking expensive and tasteless foods. Worst one that I ever visited.

Chris Cappa

Worst service, I was rudely treated from the moment I walked in, had to wait for my waiter and then was treated very rudely. The overall WORST part was when I got my bill it was correct, but when it came back after giving my credit card was he had charged me for extra things not on the original bill. I even showed it to him and he didn’t even apologize he just insisted he was right. Not going back to a place with a lack of business ethics.

Jeff Caldwell

My wife and I walked in a for a quiet lunch on a weekday. I'm trying to balance this review with the fact that Park City is a ghost town in October and we were the only people to enter the restaurant during the lunch hour. We had a very hard time communicating our order with the gentleman helping us. His English comprehension was not very good and we were concerned right away that we weren't all on the same page. He didn't ask anything about drinks so we tried to order a Tandoori mixed grill for each of us. Instead we ended up with one to share. As far as the food quality, the ingredients seemed fresh, but the meat had very little flavor for a Tandoori marinated dish. The pork especially had almost no flavor. The portions of meat were quite small, especially the lamb, which wasn't great lamb. The restaurant was spotless and had a very good ambiance. Nicely decorated with pleasant instrumental music. If it wasn't a bit chilly in there I might have fallen asleep. I'm guessing the experience here would be better during a busier time, but it's not someplace we would try again.

Ashwin Kumar

Food was pretty bland , especially the chicken curry seemed like a watered down soup

Becky Parry

The food was so delicious and the staff very friendly! We're vegan, and they were delightfully accommodating. We would go back in a heartbeat if we lived in the area.

Kali Estes

Exquisite flavors. Clean, peaceful, calm, charming, atmosphere. Filling dishes. The garlic Naan was fabulous. The server was humble, friendly, and kind. I really cannot say enough for how good this was. And what a surprise from the outside of the building! Way to under promise and over deliver.

Jihad Ashtawy

Loved it. Great atmosphere, great food, amazing staff, fair prices.

Lourdes Sanchez

Sad to give them only two stars as the servers were very nice. Asked for mild spice and she said no problem. When we tasted the food, our throats were on fire. Asked if they could re-do and he said yes, then returns with same dish after they added sugar. We tried ordering something else (saag) which is not typically not spicy, and once again it was super spicy. Decided to ask for check and she charged us for the food we could not eat (we ended up not having to pay of course but dinner was ruined).

Victor Gilbert

Great food spicey goodness

Maria Capaldo

I don't understand why this place isn't busier. If you enjoy flavorful Indian food, this is a great place to go. Tucked in a quiet corner of Prospecter area in Park City, whether you dine in or take out, delicious. I like VERY spicy food so they make it hot for me, but is your taste buds are tamer, you can ask for it mild. My friends who don't like it spicy say it was great for them too. There is comfortable booth seating and large tables for a crowd. I recommend it highly.

Kevin Morrison

New Authentic Indian restaurant in Park City.. if you have a tongue for spicy, delicious Indian food, definitely worth checking out!

Luke Atticus Kennard

This place has the most delicious food. We came here during our honeymoon when we were famished. The food was delicious and very filling. We'd love to go back someday. The prices were very reasonable and the service was amazing. The staff were so kind and courteous.

joel butcher

Slow service, order wasn't put on right of way.. Food was good

Good Indian food... Spicy level wasn't that spicy... I'd recommend ordering one or even two spice levels higher... Look for a coupon that will give you 50 percent off a second entree..

Amazing Indian food. Even labels all the vegan options, which is a nice bonus.

Turn up the heat!! I love Indian food and was excited to finally try Ganesh since I live locally and hadn’t yet. Overall everything lacked flavor and was exceptionally bland and mild for “spicy Indian food”. Some positive things- the menu is quite impressive, lots of great dishes described on there. The restaurant is immaculate and authentic Now onto the food details... We started with the Gobi Manchuria which is the battered califlower appetizer. This was the best thing we tried. Unfortunately most of the califlower pieces were way over-cooked... complete mush. The one or two pieces that had an aldante texture were tasty. Then we had Spinach Pacora which they described on the menu as dumplings. They were far off from dumplings, which is fine but they were 80% fried (undercooked) tasteless batter covering little bits of spinach... they looked like broken little chips. Not good. The sauces that came with them were oddly fluorescent colored so I’m assuming had a lot of food dye in there. Next we had the Bindi Masala which was requested as spicy. It was as mild as ketchup. Come on Ganesh- TURN UP THE HEAT!! It was also lacking in flavor, really bland. I did like that the ocra wasn’t over cooked. Overall there was a lack of flavor, spice and execution of these signature dishes. It was the off season (November) so maybe it gets better. I might try again.

Disappointing. To summarize the meal, we experienced slow service and small portions of food lacking in the anticipated vibrant flavors that Indian food is typically known for. As a family of curry lovers we visited Ganesh early on a Sunday evening and found approximately a third of the tables occupied. Service was incredibly slow given the 4 staff floating around the restaurant, we waited over 20 minutes after seating to have our drinks order taken. All orders were taken using a tablet, and it seemed that there was only one device available. The vegetable samosas, filled with potato and a few peas were lacking in flavor and this set the tone for the rest of the meal. The two chicken dishes we ordered, korma & karahi, were small and again lacking flavor. These were served with plain rice (in place of the pilau rice that we had asked for). The mixed grill sizzling platter that we had ordered had clearly been forgotten and when we inquired there was some confusion regarding the order. This arrived some minutes later and was also disappointing in it's size. Whilst ordering it we had confirmed that it included the seek kebabs (a particular favorite) and were reassured that it included 2 pieces. We came to realize that 2 pieces meant 2 small bite size morsels. Given the any other options available in the Park City area we will not be returning to this restaurant.
