Food was so good. Some meats are brought out and you cook at your table. It was so good. The staff was friendly and taught us how to eat some foods that we had never had. The restaurant is clean with a friendly atmosphere. This is a good date night place or really anytime place to eat. Thanks to everyone here who waited on my wife and I.

I like the interior of the restaurant. I think the exterior could look better to match it. Anyways the food is okay quality. Not bad but not great. Ask too many questions or request some things and you might get an annoyed look. My favorite thing about the restaurant was that side dishes were self-serve. They were actually pretty good, and you have a wide selection. Its an interesting system and well implemented. I liked that for lunch special the prices of all the entree were 10.

Something about All-You-Can-Cook and Eat establishments that holds no favor with me. Why? 1. Ordering seconds, thirds, etc... is a nightmare of waiting for it to be brought to you 2. A food item is forgotten until you mention it, and that's what happened with us. My husband felt as though the owners/servers weren't expecting us to eat more than one order of meats, pork, etc... That's a sign for him that we are never returning to dine there.

This place has some of the best Galbi and Bulgogi. The side dishes were fresh and they offered so much, like the toppoki, japchae and even some chicken terriyaki. The waiters are very attentive and they were always clearing plates and asking if I needed more meats. Definitely give this place a try if you haven't.

Ok guys, listen up because I'm only gonna tell you this once: THE PRICE IS WORTH IT!!! First of all, great staff, they are friendly and do a great job keeping things clean and moving! You are never waiting too long for food, not to mention you can nibble on some sides while you wait. The food is AMAZING! Quality meats that you cook to your liking (and their little grills they have at the tables make the cooking go by fast!), good soups, good sides, and all of it is all you can eat!! Now, that does come with a bit of a price tag, so this might not be a place you can afford to go to every single day, or even every week. But with the quality ingredients, not to mention you can eat as much as you want, the price makes sense and it's totally worth it! One thing though: As far as I can tell, you can't box it up and take it home. Maybe things have changed, I'm not sure, but... Just eat until you're full, try not to order more than you need. Not leaving a ton of leftovers helps keep the cost down. (Check the menu for more information)

Honestly this place is pretty great. JW was a fantastic server, and the food was delicious. Also, $15 for lunch all you can eat? Including the precooked stuff? This was a steal. A tasty, tasty steal. Best items (that we tried) were the steamed egg, the samgeupsal, and the bulgogi. The Korean chicken in the buffet bar was good, but needed to be a little hottter (temperature-wise).

Ejo serves a variety of korean dishes in addition to their all you can eat Korean BBQ, and it's in those dishes that this restaurant truly shines. They have a full side-dish bar, filled with all sorts of sides (including some fried chicken and other kid-friendly options). You pick your meats, grill them at the table, grab a plate of sides and garnishes, and munch away. I had the all you can eat Korean BBQ lunch special, I picked pork belly and beef. I had two sauces with the meat, which were both delicious (I really liked the one that came with the beef). The kimchi is the perfect blend of sweet, sour, and salty and is good with the bbq or on it's own. The big winners in my book though were the hot dishes I ordered. The Beef Bulgogi melted in my mouth and the Kimchi Soup is an immediate favorite (I'll definitely be ordering it again). I can't wait to eat here again and try more of the menu.

The price is the worth the lack of selection and small portions of meet brought out. The only plus side is that the side dishes are available to you at the salad bar and you don't need to ask for more (as is common with most KBBQ places).

I live for the pork belly and the short ribs! Get the sesame oil with salt and pepper to dip the pork belly in. So so yummy. Came here with a big party (8 people and two kids) and they were very accommodating. The meats were super high quality and the banchan was great. I could live off of the salad with the dressing.

The food is ok, but the service is so bad. There were only three tables but the waiter couldn't wait even one second for you to order. they closed at 2:30 and they started to ask stuff away at 2:10. I stopped them and said i still want to finish, and the lady was like oh we close at 2:30 ok?????? so no worry about leaving food. They just want you leave.

I don't like the feeling of being controlled. We went here with the expectation my wife could order all you can eat and I could order the lunch special. We were told that if one person orders the all you can eat, then the other person has to as well. We were told this is because other customers abuse this and will share food with others who didn't order the all you can eat. Don't punish me or limit my choices because of other customers choices. This is called the cost of doing business. Don't control how your customers can order based off the actions of others. Also, if they would clarify this on their online menu instead of only saying it verbally once seated in the restaurant, we would never have wasted our time driving to that restaurant.

Great Korean BBQ! Love the selections for meat, the Kimchi and other side dishes. Cooking your meat as you are ready for it means it is always nice and hot with each bite. Mix that with the delicious side dishes and you have a very memorable meal! With all the meat choices and the soups... you get a nice, new and unique experience each time. Been here a lot aleeady and will be coming here again... and again! Love it! Oh, and the restaurant is neat, open and comfortable!

I'll be blunt: the service is virtually non-existent. Our waiter vanished within five minutes of seating us as other waiters kept zipping by ignoring my wife as she constantly tried to get SOMEONE to serve us. We sat waiting for the check for twenty minutes and even held it up for another ten before physically seizing someone so we could leave and make our movie. I'll take my future business elsewhere.

The food and the service is really good here. Although we stayed until 915 I never felt rushed, they checked on us plenty of times. Their side dishes are so freaken good. The only thing I wish was more traditional is the kimchi. I've learned with the years that kimchi will taste diffrent no matter where you go. Even in Korea it varied in flavor.

Tasty food, excellent meat quality, attentive service, roomy eating space, non-smoky grills and central location with plentiful parking, not sure what else you'd need in an AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant, as many of them in the area serve either bland food, source below-average meat quality, have non-attentive service, become too smoky inside to even breathe or a combination of all of the above. Highly recommend this place, tummy won't regret it.

Joseph and Joseph take very good care of us, they rotate visits to our table taking care of our family and helping with anything we need. Dining here is like dining in a Korean drama, the food is amazing and looks better than the meats we saw in the Korean movies. Very family friendly and will definitely be back often. Highly recommend to anyone who is hungry.

Horrible experience :( way over priced! 25.99 all you can wat but we didn't even get all the food we ordered. We told the waitress it was our first time hoping she could help us out but that was a fail too. Nothing was labeled on the side bar. Everything was cold. It was like we were outcasts in a corner but the cashier was very happy to take our money. We will never go back or recommend this place to others.

Absolutely terrible.. Any of the other reviews which have something positive to say about this place must have been written by family and friends of the owner. This has to be one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. For one, this is America, your customer-facing employees should be able to speak and understand English in the least. Our server was unable to explain or recommend anything on the menu to us, so we were left in the dark on how or what to order. The food was subpar in quality and completely lacking in flavor with limited choices available. They were also understaffed so we were ignored for the majority of our visit there. Forget about "All you can eat" because they will only bring you two items at a time during the "100 minute" allowance you get. Combine that with being ignored, items slow to come out from the kitchen or forgotten altogether along with the poor quality/taste of the food, we ended up leaving still hungry. The menu also says there will be a charge for leftover un-eaten food (so if you can't manage to stomach the horrible food, there is a chance they will try to charge you more!) Never have I felt so ripped off, grudgingly handing over $30 for such a abysmal and unsatisfying meal. You would do better to choose literally anywhere else to eat.

The side dishes were good and they had enough variety of meat. The only down side was the grill. It is infrared grill so it takes time to cook the meat and it turns off by itself about 30-40 minutes later due to overheat. It takes about 5-10minutes to reset the grill. Other than that, it is nice restaurant.

I sat down, stood up to talk to someone 10 feet away, and when I sat back down I already had water and all my utensils. The waiters and waitresses have very good recommendations. It’s been a really long time since I’ve had actually good quality and authentic Korean bbq and Korean hospitality in the US. As a Korean-American, I’ve tried and struggled to find a half decent Korean restaurant in the US. From California to Delaware, I’ve tried it all but this is one of the best! They have just reopened and revamped EVERYTHING! Food is better! Service is better! Setting is BETTER!!! Will definitely come as often as I can. I am more than willing to make the effort to come from Provo just for this place! Definitely would recommend more stars. Must try!

Fun. Smell is intoxicating. Grills take a long time to heat up. Our servers seemed to be fighting over our grill temperature. Tongs were too big. Buffet food didn't seem temperature controlled. The idea is great and if the meat is bad it's your own fault. Could use some refinement, but I'm very excited to have a Korean Bbq nearby.

My absolute favorite Korean BBQ resteraunt in Utah. The short rib and the brisket are flavorful and savory. The all you can eat is $27 a person, which i think is quite reasonable considering all they offer. They even have a bar with all you can eat sides including potstickers. I love and will also tout their kimchi. I can't tell you how excited I am that they FINALLY reopened after moving the location!

Probably the only Korean BBQ I will go to in Utah. I love how they have the banchan (side dishes) out and you can help yourself, because the potatoes and fish cakes is where I live. The chadol (Thinly Sliced Brisket) is the best I've had anywhere hands down. I could eat that forever.

Horrible customer service! We were rushed to eat our order after the server took our order. The server also told us that they won't be making any more food because they were within an hour of closing their kitchen.... so the menu was very limited. We were rushed to pay after only sitting for 15 minutes and we had barely started eating. And all of that occurred after calling in advance for reservations. The service was horrible. Not coming back.

It can honestly be a struggle to find decent Korea BBQ in Utah. Luckily Ejo is way better than decent! Super friendly service and it is a perfect dinner for date night when you are feeling like mixing it up a little. My wife and I will definitely be returning.

Everything we ate was delicious and fresh. All you can eat Korean. They have a bar where you can get sides and main dishes and a menu to order more main dishes, soups, and sides. Drinks are included. There are already cooked dishes and meats that come raw that are cooked on the table grill. The service was excellent, the waitress explained all the dishes to us and everything came quickly including drink changes and refills. I don't think they serve alchohol.

Came here for lunch on a weekend. Was recommend here by some family members and I gotta say, I'm not disappointed. The service was pretty quick, the grill took a while to get heated enough to start searing our meats, but that's okay. The meat quality actually tastes really fresh and the owner lady is really just trying to make everyone's experience a good one. Flavor lacks a little in the Bulgogi but that's okay because the pork belly was so good. Try the soup and the pancakes, those are good.

For $24 AYCE dinner, I think they have decent BBQ options consist of 7 meats (# pork belly, short ribs, # chicken). However only 1 seafood (shrimp) which is disappointed for me. The meat were well marinated and tasty. I didn't order shrimp so I don't know how it is. They have few cooked chicken, and pork options as well. I was waiting for Korean fried chicken but they were out. They have 4 different types of soups which are good. The banchan options are reasonable include different types of kimchi and Korean pickles, but lacked of fresh vegetables. The cooked foods buffet were out by the time we there so I don't know how it tasted. Overall, I like the way they marinated their meats, good location, service was good, good atmosphere. And authentic Korean. One of a very few Korean BBQ owned by Korean. Worth a try. I gave 4 stars due to lack of seafood and vegetables options

We have dinner here this evening, for the first time, but I don't think we will be back. The meat was not a good quality, the side dishes that was like a buffet style, was not my thing. I would prefer to be serve in your table, just like all other Korean restaurant that I've been into. Our server will get some credits for taking care our needs since this is a "Eat all you can." Cafeteria ambiance, a bit chaotic. Kimchi is served on a buffet corner, has about six or seven choices of pencha. Also has chapchae and a few other miscellaneous items like fried rice fried chicken fried pork....The Koreans seem to like this place, always see some in the restaurant. Lunch menu is $15 bbq or dish at $10. Seafood Soon tofu ingredients is alright, nothing jumps out at you as memorable. Bulbogi chicken is alright.

I like how they have a small setup for side dishes so you can fill up as much as you like. Food taste great and the new grills do not smoke like they did before they moved locations. You can tell they are still getting into the swing of things with the new opening but they were extremely nice, apologetic + helped us understand how things went. Any questions they gladly answered. The flavor they use to have isn't there.

I was really confused by our server. She brought our requested meat (just 2 if us) out to the table and dumped enough food for 5 people on to the cook top. The party of 6 next to us were allowed to place a few pieces of several types of meat on the cook top themselves. There was no rice in the buffet. I had to hunt down another server to get some. The food was fine, but we had a poor experience. We won't be going back.

The format is all you can eat grill buffet. If you are into meat and flavorful Asian food this it the place for you. They have the Korean staple Bulgogi, plus other chicken and pork meats to grill right at your table. They also have a traditional Buffet station stocked with dumplings and fried small pork and chicken cuts. They have sauces and Kimchi in this serving station too. I did find the service a little bit dry, the servers are not very informative on how to best serve your courses and in what order. Overall it is a great place to try Korean food if you don't mind the high price tag.

Ejo has been one of my favorite KBBQ joints in Salt Lake for a while now... until recently, when I came at 9:07pm to find out they stop serving dinner at 9. I wouldn’t have been disappointed if the hours posted online actually reflected that instead of 10pm. Hours posted online should reflect actual serving time. They have great service and overall the quality of meat is decent. With the many kbbq places opening up in SLC, this may give me another reason to check them out...
