They make a killer BLT. Heavy on the bacon and with good lettuce. I prefer it on wheat with regular mayo rather than the aoili they usually put on it. My old favorite was the egg salad but they don't have it anymore. The chicken soup is pretty good. Nice place for lunch with friends or alone with a book. The people have always been nice too.

This place is great for a nutritional and deliciously different spin on traditional breakfast. Adding grains and greens to scrambled eggs not only made me feel I was eating healthily, but it was delicious. I recommend the Corner Bakery for breakfast if you want to try something unique!

Cute bakery cafe but man, they are so slow! Coffee was good, bundt cake was good. It might be a better place if you're looking to sit down but if you're ppacing a to-go order you'll be waiting a long time.

I've not been impressed with this location. We used to cater a University of Utah event once a month from here, but we stopped because they could never get our order right. They consistently screwed up our order and were never very easy to work with. Because of this event being a University event, we have to pay with a specific card that is tax exempt. This always seemed to cause problems with their system, and we finally threw in the towel. Might be fine for normal diners, but I would not cater anything from here.

I got a salad that was supposed to have berries and candied pecans. It was a bowl of lettuce with half a strawberry and no fruit or almonds. I paid $10.00 basically for a small cup of coffee & lettuce! 00

Just needed two take-out salads for a friend in a near-by hospital. A little difficult to find parking - there's not enough spaces there. Placed the order for Harvest Salad and Spinach Sweet Crisp. Waited 10 minutes to get order - which was brought to me bagged and ready to go! At the hospital we found everything we needed in the bag - napkins, forks, extra dressing and small crackers. Salads were delicious and I plan to do that again!

Cute interior and friendly staff. I had a pasta entree but some of the meats were still frozen. I think this place is better for a quick bite or if you just want to seat while savoring a dessert.

I mean it's not my favorite place, but it's a good place to get a quick bite to eat. The food is mediocre, but maybe I havent tried the best thing yet. It has certain notes of kneaders and maybe cafe zupas, so theres nothing really unique about it. Overall, it's okay.

Came here for a work lunch meeting. The line was out the door (apparently they were short-staffed), but the service once we got to the counter was impeccable. He took the time to check and make sure my meal was gluten-free when I told him I had an allergy, rather than just "assume" it was. I got the shrimp power salad (minus the croutons). The hibiscus lemonade was super delicious and paired well with the freshness of the salad.

This is the first time I have ever been to the Corner Bakery Cafe. There is a great selection of items on the menu and the staff are very friendly. The items are slightly higher priced than I would expect. I ordered a Turkey panini, a commuter sandwich, two drinks and a cup of soup. The soup was very flavorful but the rest was very bland and made me feel like I should have gone home to make the same food for cheaper. It was a great experience but wish there was more flavor to the food for the price you are paying.

Good is wonderful but this place is very, very busy every time I have been here the line to order food has been at the door or overflowing outside. It can also be hard to find a seat. There is 1 spot in the seating area that is good for disability seating but there is no seating designated as disability seating. Because of the crowds it can be very loud inside.

I have only been here once and it was with my mom and it was while I was trying the Paleo diet. So I did that weird thing where I took all the stuff off my sandwich, toast the bread, and ate everything else. Except I think the mayonnaise had sugar in it... however, my husband works just up the street from this corner bakery, and he goes there several times a week. He especially loves the Reuben melts. now that I am no longer experimenting with the paleo diet, I think I should go again. they also have some great pastries, which I do still need to stay away from as I have found it is sugar that causes a lot of my problems, but I'm sure a nice fat sandwich from this place once in awhile would be just fine.

They have the best cheddar broccoli soup! And the chocolate muffins are seriously like heaven on earth!! Now, one of my problems with this place is they can leave things out of your order, so make sure if you're getting a To-Go order, check it before you leave. Muffins after 2pm are 1/2 price which is the best time to get them ---really all of them are good. Salads, esp. the Caesar, are great. Sandwiches are good. Their pastas are great. You pretty much can't go wrong at CBC, but they are pricey.

I have been a regular customer for the last 2 years. I get there early because I support an athlete with early morning practices. The last time I went in I was treated like I was not welcome there. I was chewed out by the manager for 'being there early' when in fact their clock was 5 minutes slow and the door was open. She informed me in a very unpleasant voice that she was understaffed and doing the best that she could. She continued to glare at me. I informed her I was going to eat elsewhere and she said 'Please Do!' in the rudest tone. NEVER GOING BACK. Thanks but no thanks. Life is too short to be treated badly by someone serving coffee. Starbucks up the street now has my business.

Do not use this place for delivery or catering. We were ordering for a small U of U event. I called a few days a head with a few questions about their delivery options. They transferred me over to catering and put me on hold for half an hour. I gave up and called again. I told them we were confused about the catering menu as it seemed only for large groups (20 or more people), but they told me I could order from the menu individually. They did not specify they meant that for delivery, you HAVE to use the box lunch option on the catering menu because of health code issues. This was equally confusing because it seems you can order from their regular menu when you use grubhub delivery option online. I wasn't able to use this because I needed the delivery tax exempt. When I called to place the order finally the day before, I was told we HAD to order off the catering menu and they couldn't help us. We tried to fix the order looking off the catering menu, but their box lunch options were vague and didn't tell you what sandwiches you could order (It only says specialty sandwich but there is no menu listing their specialty sandwiches--they have a signature sandwich list on their regular menu but we were unsure if this was the same thing and if we could order off of it). In the end we decided they were too unclear and seemed not to care at all. So, we ordered from caputo's who were much more helpful and seemed to actually care about working with us.

Service is great, food is wonderful. Prices are just a little steep for the amount of food you get. Service is a little slow, especially during rush but still seems to lag when you walk in and right up to order with no line. It takes me about 20mins to get a standard sandwich and cup of soup.

This is the only place to eat within walking distance of work, so I eat hear quite often. It’s always been a little on the spendy side, but it’s not fast food. Lately the service has suffered tremendously. If you are in the area and can drive somewhere else I would. If there aren’t any other options it’s not bad.

Great customer service! I ordered a meal to eat there but knew I wouldn’t finish it, so I asked if they would do a half order or pack up the other half to-go. The cashier was beyond helpful and said she would take care of me! She made it happen. Shortly after, another friendly employee delivered my food and we engaged in a short, sweet conversation. So much more than I expected!

I really enjoy dining at this Corner Bakery on Foothill Drive. Great menu options: salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta dishes, and breakfast options earlier in the day. Of course, there are always great dessert options as well - my personal favorite is lemon bars. The Choose Two for $8.99 is a fabulous deal! And the Shrimp Scampi Linguini is excellent! A good place to dine before U of U games or other events on campus.

When you walk through the doors, you are hit with the fresh baked smell of pastries and delightful foods! You walk to your right and they have a counter to your left of yummy goodies to buy! All fresh! Once you have ordered they give you a number and you can stay and eat or wait for it then leave. I stayed and had an amazing experience, I enjoyed the fact that they bring you your food and leave you be, and you don't have that awkward moment of a mouth full of food as they ask, "how's everything taste", they don't do that here because they know it's awesome!! Great atmosphere and wonderful customer service!! Can't wait to bring some family and friends for lunch date here!!

My wife and I used to visit occasionally and we always loved the food. The most recent visit felt like the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and it still took about 10 minutes to get to us. It was dried out and not very appealing. It may have just been an off day. We will probably try it again but it was a that's enough experience to have us change our tradition of stopping there.

Decent food, friendly staff, and clean. However it’s a bit overpriced. I can go else where and get the same items with the same quality if not better for less. The servers need to pay attention better, maybe it was a bad day, which we all have, but I shouldn’t have to send back an order twice to get the right one I ordered from the beginning. I really would like to recommend this place because it does have the potential to be really good. But right now I would recommend going somewhere else.

I am so very disappointed with our experience . It seemed to us that the crew was running around with no direction. The table had crumbs on it not wiped. I ordered the special french toast bananas Foster , what I got was a dry hard serving with one banana piece on top. I ordered a hot chocolate that did not come with the meal. We asked for it twice during the meal and it still didn't come. As we were leaving I went over to the counter and told them I needed my hot chocolate. the server proudly announced here is your Mocha, not what I ordered. As I said in the beginning I was disappointed because I know you can do better.

I work nearby, so I'm usually there during the lunch hour rush. The service is always quick and I've always gotten exactly what I ordered. You can easily get here, order, and eat in less than an hour - even when it's busy. Parking can be difficult sometimes. Outdoor patio is great in the summer! Love that they let you bring your own reusable drink cup to fill your drink (they'll charge you for a small/reg drink).

Quick service and nice staff but the food was terrible. Somehow my soup managed to taste burnt and my husband's sandwich gave him an allergic reaction. Watch those burners more closely and list common allergens on products please. I also had the Asian chicken salad. It was pretty good. Good chicken. They always have good tea and lemonades as well.

This place runs like a well oiled machine! They arr super busy but are quick to get your food to you super fast. Food is great tasting and superb quality. If you are in a hurry you can use their app and they will have it ready for you to go or to dine in. Fantastic customer service with friendly and helpful staff.

The Southwest salad was shredded ICEBERG lettuce — the same stuff McDonald’s puts on it’s hamburgers. The tomato basil soup was simply tomato sauce with basil sprinkled in. The asparagus pasta primavera came out lukewarm with several cold noodles. We waited for 30 minutes for our food to arrive, AFTER we told them our food was taking a long time. Then they forgot to bring us silverware. Unprofessional service and a minor league chef at best. This place is trying to make money while not giving a good experience.
