We both had Paneer Masala. It was probably the best we've had at any Indian restaurant and we've been to many around the country. The garlic naan and onion naan were just right, with a little crispiness and a nice amount of cilantro. I had a cup of Indian tea. It was perfect. The only negative was that it was noisier than we are used to there but it was about 6 pm and they were full so we were seated near the kitchen which added to the noise level.

I always heard things about this place but I've never been. I decided to try it out with a good friend and by the gods it was amazing! if I didn't live over an hour away I would come here every week. The service was amazing, the waiters consistently came by the tables refilling drinks no matter how busy it was, the food was also fantastic. I have never had Indian food that tasted this good. I will be coming here again for sure to try all their different kind of dishes because I am sure they will not disappoint.

I absolutely love Bombay House! Not only does the food taste incredible, the serving sizes are large and very filling. You definitely get what you pay for. Love going here for the butter chicken and naan. The service is always incredible at Bombay House and this location is no exception. Go with a big group and order several dishes family style and make sure you order plenty of naan, it tends to go fast!

Delicious! Service is great. There are many servers around and they don’t look like they know exactly what to do, but they are nice and try to help customers. Food is tasty. I always order lamb platter and butter chicken or chicken korma, either one of those two. Yummy.

I have been to the Bombay House a few times, and each time it is equally as delicious as the last. Their service could use some help, but I think their food makes up for it. Their food is consistently great and the ambiance is very nice too. It is reasonably priced and a couple should expect to pay around $50 after tip without alcohol purchases. Pro tip: Go before 5:00. The restaurant is very popular and will get extremely busy after 5:00 p.m. toward dinner time, especially on the weekends.

Good food. I love the large quantity of rice they give with every serving and the way the food is served it's easy to share. The only thing is is the medium was not even spicy at all, if you like hot food even a little bit I suggest you go for the hot.

Delightful! Really fantastic food with wonderfully fast service. They’re coconut kurma was fantastic, with options to add shrimp, chicken, lamb, or vegetables. Great vegetarian selection. My grandmother and I made it our destination in Salt Lake City for dinner after a 7 hour drive from the Rockies. Bombay House did not disappoint!

This place is packed all the time. The service was exceptional! Constantly refilling drinks, asking if everything is okay. One of the best service i’ve had! The first time I ever tried Indian was here and I’ve spent my whole life trying to find anything remotely as good. Especially recommend the Saag Paneer with a garlic naan but I doubt you can make a wrong choice. Also, when they say spicy they mean it- do yourself a favor and stick to medium!

This is easily the best Indian restaurant to which I've ever been. The food is so delicious, the service is always great, and the ambiance is excellent. I wish that it were a bit less expensive, but the aforementioned attributes make the experience worth it. They will usually make the food extremely spicy, if you can convince them that you can take the heat.

Stopped here to eat with friends after a long day of rock climbing and we were not disappointed. Bombay house provided us with amazing, abundant, and fragrant dishes that knocked us out! I think we rolled out of the restaurant. We ordered chicken coconut kurma, lamb vindaloo, chicken tiki masala, and a vegetarian spinach dish with onion, garlic, and peshwari naan on the side. Don’t forget to get yourselves a mango lassi to wash it all down

We ordered the tandoori chicken for our appetizer. It was very tender and flavorful. We ordered Malai Kofta and Chicken Tikka Masala for our main course. Both dishes were extremely tasty and well cooked. The garlic naan and rice were also delicious. The service was spot on, we didn't have to wait or ask for anything. I will definitely come back to this restaurant if I am in the area.

Perfect environment for a quiet evening. The service was amazing! Our drinks were on the table before the waiter even finished taking our order, because the order was taken electronically to the kitchen. The food came fast, and the waiter went out of his way to make sure I picked something I’d love on the menu. During our meal there was always someone close by to answer a question, fill our water, or get our check and boxes.

This was really good! I don't go out much but I enjoyed the whole experience. My girl and I ate dinner there last night. So I can rate not only eating the food but processing it as well. And overall I didn't have any problems! I spent $50 on a date with my girl. We don't drink alcohol but if I had add $15 more on for that. Or more depending on your taste. I could have spend less but we both got a nice $15 plate and some Bombay lime sodas.

My wife and I LOVE Bombay House. Reliable Indian at affordable prices. They are always busy, but have enough tables that wait times are typically less than 10-15 minutes. We especially like the Mango Lassi. Most popular dish is the Chicken Tikka Masala--and they are very accommodating to spiciness requests. They will often bring an extra side of sauce to increase the heat if that is what you are looking for, but don't be shy of trying any of the other dishes. Their Lamb Saag is delicious, and Chicken Vindaloo is amazing.

Great food! I ordered medium level of spice and it was what I would normally (in California) consider mild/not spicy; they know their audience for sure. The chicken was moist and super flavorful, the spices and coconut milk paired wonderfully..perfect rice too. The portions are very generous. Friendly and professional staff. We love The Bombay house. We went there last night and my 2 year old was not in a good mood and was a bit sad. Our server was very polite and engaging to our sad boy and even brought out a plate of rice for him before we even ordered our food which helped calm him down. Thank you for that. The food there is always delicious. Bollywood chicken is my favorite thing there. So flavorful tender chicken. The staff all help out as a team clearing dishes off once we we're done with them so we never had a stack of dishes cluttering the table. We have been there many times and will return again.

This place is great. Food is good and atmosphere is tasteful. Even while they are slammed, the food and service are still on point and staff are friendly. I personally find the curries a tad on the bland side, but just the tiniest bit. It's still perfect for us because my partner isn't crazy about international cuisine, so someone who needs something a bit gentler can still enjoy the food. It's even on his top ten places. We always eat our leftovers and take extra home. All in all I think it's one of the best place for Indian food in the city and love taking guests and friends there to eat. Takeout has never disappointed either.

My friends came here for dinner after a hike, and even though it was around 8PM, the place was still packed! I was really surprised. We waited a few minutes for a table to leave and get cleaned, and then we were seated. I got the beingan bharta (eggplant curry), and my friends got chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. I also got a naan and requested to not have the rice (I asked whether I could replace the rice with naan, as the rice is actually more expensive on the menu than the naan but I wasn't allowed to, boo!). I really liked my eggplant curry as it was sufficiently spicy and very flavorful. I tried both my friends' dishes as well, and they were tasty too. Portions are huge, and we all had trouble finishing our food. Really delicious though, would recommend! Prices are reasonable for the amount of food; my bill came out to be around $14 post-tax.

We had a great experience on a Saturday Night at the Bombay House, Parleys Way. This is the best Indian food in Salt Lake City and would compare the quality and taste with our recent visit to one of the best Indian restaurants in Washington DC. The resultant was crowded but it only took a few minutes to sit at a table for 6. The staff and management was second only to the taste and quality fo the food. Thanks for a great experience.

This place is good, and will accommodate large groups. Plenty of parking. Lots of seating. Good food, though I've yet to find saag naan anywhere in Utah. Service is efficient and friendly. And they go out of their way to do additional things other restaurants might now. Prices are similar to other indian restaurants - very affordable for what you get. Restrooms were clean though I didn't notice if there was a changing station in the men's.

We had the best experience here the other night. Our waiter, Naysan, was SO kind and very honest and informative about the menu. When we asked him about one dish, he informed us of how popular it was and, based on what we told him we liked, guided us to a dish that we might like better. It is now our all-time favorite dish. We sat and visited for awhile after our meal and never once felt rushed. In fact, Naysan told us to take our time and enjoy our conversation and pretend like we were just in the comfort of our own home. Fabulous.

Consistently delicious over the years I’ve been eating here, Bombay House continues to deliver excellent food with delightful service. Among other things, we ordered two of the same dish - one medium spice level and one mild for the delicate palate of my 8 year-old. The mild dish was still a bit too spicy for her. Our waiter picked up on her dislike and, without question, brought a similar but different dish for her to enjoy. Kind and observant servers may make as much of an experience as tasty food does. Easily tied for best Indian food in SLC. The food is always great, as is the service. It never seems to get too busy and there’s ample space for the crowds. My only issues are that compared to Kathmandu, the portioning (especially for naan!!) is pretty small, and for whatever reason Indian food is super expensive around here. Still great food!

The quality has diminished over the years. I've referred too many people here, and they've been letting me down. Not everyone is foreign to Indian food and is oblivious to the fact that clumpy withered rice is old rice-- stop serving yesterdays rice and step up the quality of meat. Best service, best cuisine and consistency of any Indian food I've had (including California and Florida.) When we ask for mild, it's truly mild. Every other place we've tried has said it'll be mild and it's been a sweat inducing, belly destroying "mild". We continue to love this restaurant chain more and more with each visit.

I am not a food reviewer, so I can’t use all of the words, but I will say this, the food, service, location, and people at this place are top notch. I would say that the food is so gooooood here that probably several people have proposed here, and most of those people have gotten a “yes” as an answer. Not saying there is a correlation, but you have to wonder, don’t you… I particularly like to try new things here. Example, I used to always get the mango lassie, but then I was like what does the rose lassie taste like, so I tried it and it’s great! We prefer to get food as takeout since we have kids and it’s easier to eat at home than go through all the trouble of having dinner with our kids in a restaurant. It’s nothing to do with this particular restaurant, and my kids are actually pretty well behaved, but they are still kids (OKAY???) and kids will be kids. The prices are reasonable, the ambiance is dope, and the food is totes delish. A 5/5 naans for this joint.

I love Indian food and Bombay House did not disappoint. They get extra points for having gluten-free naan. (made with chickpea flour) It's a bit far from my house but it was worth the trip just for the gf naan. Pakoras are another of my favorites and they were tasty. The Channa Masala was delightful. I look forward to going again. Always love eating Indian food from here. Best place in the Valley. Traditional menu woth great Tandoori options. You will not be disappointed.

Bombay House serves the best Indian food that I have found in the state. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Every dish I have tried has been fresh and flavorful. The Salt Lake location is very large with ample room for groups of nearly every size. The ambiance is bright, warm, and welcoming.

One of the good Indian restaurants in SLC. The service is at it's best. Food to the table will be super fast from the order. The crowd attracts more non Indians too, so make sure the medium spice level in other Indian restaurants is equal to spicy spice level. But the Indian authentic taste stays. Even though it attracts non Indian crowd, the price remains normal. Ambience is 4 out of 5 and highlight is the candle in every table for dinner with dim lights through out the restaurant. My best pick in the order is assorted mix in starters which has two pieces of each starters in the restaurant which makes us to taste everything. One last thing, feel free to ask anything you would like which is not in the menu, they will try to make it as a special dish for you if feasible and don't forget to ask for complimentary salad which is of onions, lemon, green chillies, pickle and chat masala.

WOW!!! This place is truly amazing! The food was absolutely delicious! They have a ton of vegan options and they are just as delicious as the meaty meals. The restaurant is authentic and the staff is so welcoming and friendly! They always made sure to host their guests properly and made sure everyone was having a good experience. Definitely recommend!

This was our first visit to Bombay House. We are in the SLC area temporarily and have been searching for a good Indian restaurant. I ordered Shrimp Korva(Korma) and my dining companion ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. I loved my shrimp dish! Shrimp was crunchy with great flavor and there were plenty of shrimp in the dish. The sauce, I ordered medium spice, was delicious...it had some sweetness but the spice really balanced the dish. My dining partner was less enraptured with his Chicken Took a Masala. He felt it was a bit oily and didn't have the balanced flavor profile he expected. I would give my dish a 5 and he gave his a 3 ending up with a final score of 4! The atmosphere is good but it is very noisy at prime dinner hour and there were lots of big parties but service was excellent...
