REVIEWS OF Bombay Grill IN Utah

Matthew Boden

The food is great and the owners are amazing. I’ve been here a few times and they are always happy and accommodating. If you can’t handle spice, be careful. It can be very spicy for anything over a 6. The Mango Chicken Curry is great. Get a couple of naan too

jayjason jayman

We love this place. Its clean. Its family owned and ran. And the food is amazing .

Anwesha Das

We ordered Chicken tikka masala ,naan & 1 plate biriyani for 2people but they gave us huge quantities..the chicken biriyani was more tasty in the next day don’t no why & 1 plate biriyani is more than enough for 2 people..1 plate tikka masala is perfect for 2 people but i gave 4 star because the ac wasn’t working properly & it’s not a modern style restaurant (kind of a simple restaurant )

Brett Thompson

Shared a Chicken Tikka Masala, rice and garlic naan with my wife. Asked for medium heat which was a little hotter than I was expecting. Friendly people and fast. Food was tasty. With a Coke and tax it came to $27 which I feel is steep for what we got. Ambiance is a little plain but no biggie. I would probably go back.

Thomas F

Can't recommend at all. Was there with a friend. Starters tasted like fried in old oil. Couldn't finish main course... Place looked and smelled dirty. Finally we we're charged extra for paying with VISA. I am really surprised about the rating.

Ravi Nihalani

Pathetic expensive Biryani. Charged $8 for Raitha in biryani without even telling the customer.

Alex Simental

This restaurant is a MUST VISIT for anyone in Ogden ESPECIALLY if you love good Indian food. I've been coming here for almost ten years now, I make at least one trip a month. I've been all over from the east to the west coast and tried many different Indian restaurants and this is by far my absolute favorite. The owners/staff are very nice people and I am never disappointed. The food is authentic and well portioned, there are so many options that I still haven't tried them all. Definitely eat here!

Hansomhansen

This is the best place that I have ever eaten before. My parents being good friemds with the owners and me being best friends with the owners son. I personally think that the Bombay Grill is the best place to go and see and taste cultural differences.

Alan Porter

The food is absolutely delicious. I stopped here on a whim during my lunch hour, best decision ever!!

Anna Phelps

Awesome! First timers with Indian food. Loved it. Advice - their rating system for how spicy you want it is 1-10. A 3 is still really spicy!

Haley Marie

Had a great experience! The restaurant is clean, the staff was nice, and the food was well done. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala at a moderate spice level and it was excellent. It had a great balance of spice and flavor. My fiance's Lamb Vindaloo was scrumptious as well and had minimal spice as requested. Definitely somewhere I would recommend!

Haley Baker

I have had better. The curry is mediocre, service is not friendly, and ambience isn’t that great. I don’t think the price is worth it for the experience. I am willing to pay more if the food is better and servers are nicer.

Angela Romero

Heard about this place for years, and finally went. Well worth the drive from Layton to Ogden, and we will definitely go back! Fantastic!

Britney Critchley

This is restaurant is amazing!

Andrew and Valerie Loveless

Definitely a hole in the wall hidden treasure! Awesome flavor and a very nice family that runs it. The area of Ogden is not great, but worth going not as a romantic place. This will be a restaurant I'll return to often. The Mahkni was very flavorful. My wife tried the Saagwala and it was very good. My parents had the Lamb Masala and they loved it. Highly recommended

John Thomas

If you want to get away from the big chains this is a nice place to go. Sweet people and yummy food.

Rini Quinlan

1 of our family favorite restaurant to go to, the family own restaurant are so wonderful: how they treat their customers, wonderful cooks, love the free ice cream after our meal ( made us feel special)

Russ Rosenlof

Great Indian food, reasonable price. Never come away disappointed, but haven't come away either. Consistently tasty food though.

Zerokool14 SS

Great flavor, good to change things up

Linda Harden

Food was terrific fresh and flavourful. They couldn't have treated us any better. We've been here before and will come again.

Alan Slater

I liked the food yet it was not five star for me. The prices prevent me from going back on a regular basis. Our strategy is that we get the Naan here and get our food at another Indian restaurant in Riverdale. Their Naan is so worth it. But yeah, the prices.

Corey Ellis

Not a bad place. Service was fine. I enjoyed one of the vegetarian options. I look forward to stopping in again.

Stephany Sitjar

Verrrryyyyy Rude staff. especially the lady that i talked to. I was talking to her in a nice way. placing the order and asking the prep. time then she just hang up without letting me finish. I just hate it! Pls train your employees with good manners.

Lynn BRANDENBURG

We ordered a starter and two mains with a special rice dish on the side. I have eaten there 1 or 2 other times which was 3-4 stars, this time I would give it 5 Stars and am returning with a client who likes the place too. Plan to go there at least once a month as the food was excellent and healthy as well. BTW Service was top shelf, a real nice family run place, clean and quiet enough to enjoy your company. If you love Indian Food, in Ogden: "This is the place"

Shelli Huang DDS

Food is authentic. I also like Sitar Indian as an alternative. Bombay is more like Salt Lake City restaurant price in Ogden . The nan is very appetizing, samosa is decent with jalapeño and tamarind sauce. Expect to pay $50 for two. Oh and the 2$ credit card processing charge. Maybe cash is preferred?

Colten Clark

Best INDIAN FOOD IN TOWN. Try the #45 on the current menu

David Bennett

This Authentic indian food is amazing and owners are very nice

Mordeth

Great food. Great price. Excellent service.

Mckenzi Martin

Best Indian food ever!

Sylvia Newman

Our favorite Indian food in Ogden. Everything is made fresh to order.

Trent Larsen

Great food and the owners are great people!

Keith Adkins

Excellent food, albeit a bit pricey.

Ashwini Manjunath

Tasty and Delicious Indian food

Anna Wilkinson

BEST INDIAN FOOD hands down! I love garlic, I love spicy, they met all my needs! I got a 10/10 spicy, it was amazing. My Ginger husband got a 5, he says 2-3 would be perfect for him next time.

Beau Rawlinson

THE most authentic Indian food around!

Brad Jeppson

Best chicken Tikka masala I've had, my mouth is watering just thinking about it

Sandy Turner

We absolutely love this restaurant the food is fabulous and the owners are amazing I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Dustin Chapman

I love this place so much. Family owned and run. They know what they do and they do it well. The Tikka Masala is the best I've had anywhere. Kitchen is run by the owners so quality is never an issue.

Manny Merc

We visited multiple Indian food restaurants in utah, this one is the best, great customer service.

Habon Hajira

This place is expensive like $30 for a plate of rice you will at least spend $50 in their for 2 people the food is great especially the mango smoothie if you feeling Indian food and wanna spend a little extra money it’s the best

Candice Brand

Amazing food! Great and friendly service! Boo-yah! ;)

Joe Neiheisel

Food is ok. Service is ok. Ambiance is ok. Prices are high. I felt like I got shaken down when I was saw there is a mandatory tip for parties greater than 3 and also charged a fee greater than the transaction cost for using a credit card. 7$ for rice and 8$ for bread. I’m not sure if I will ever go to a restaurant again.

lacey layton

The food here is so good! I haven't had anything that I haven't loved! If you like Indian food, you will love it here!

Janna Paul

I adore Indian food! I have eaten at very may Indian food restaurants. The flavor of their food is amazing! The family who owns this place is always very helpfully, kind and very fun to have a conversation with. Totally enjoy the whole experience. One appetizer to try: Chicken Chat

Hayder Qasim

Such a great place, I really like it. The food are awesome. I will go there again and again.

Graham Parkinson

Family run and the food has great flavor. It is a bit pricey, but I am more than happy to pay a little more to keep a small business going.

keith brumfield

I have been here at least 15 times in the past and always with 6-10 other people. Just recently we went in with a group of 16 people for a retirement dinner and had a tab of $800. On the way out the door the owner was standing at the door and I thanked him and told him I appreciated everything and held my hand out to shake his hand. He looked at me and shook his head no with a very ungrateful look on his face. Very uncomfortable moment to say the least and its not a cultural thing, I deal with individuals from Pakistan and India everyday in my day to day job. Myself and the group that always go there to dinner have literally spent $1000's in there over the last couple years, needless to say ill be finding another Indian restaurant to get my fix. A hand shake goes a long way!

Tom Lawrence

Best Indian food bar none. I'm from St. Louis and travel frequently. I never would have guessed I would find the best Indian food in Ogden Utah. 10 out of 10, will come here every time I'm in Ogden

Ben Johnson

Bombay Grill is locally owned and operated. Delicious, home cooked feel, and very friendly!

Nathan Brown

To be clear I don't really have any experience with Indian food, but this was really good! $50 seemed like to much but that's what it takes for real food anymore. We'll go again.

Lolo D

Two stars because the food tasted pretty good. That averages out the multiple zero stars for price, ambiance, service, location, and oh.my.goodness did I mention extra charges for everything???? I am a huge fan of frequenting family-owned, non chain restaurants and supporting locals, but this place was just ridiculous. Our favorite Indian place is Sitara and our family of 4 can order 4 dishes and drinks with Naan for around $50. They were closed on a Monday when we were craving Indian so we decided to give this place a try. The same larger dish for $9 at Sitara is $17 to $19 here and it does not come with any plain rice. It is just for the sauce and a little bit of meat. They charge you $3.50 more for a little plate of rice. To me that is like ordering a pasta dish and then being told you have to pay extra to get the pasta noodles. It just doesn't make sense. Naan with any flavoring is $8 an order. My kids split a meal and ordered water and still our bill was $90. Then to add insult to injury, they decided to charge another $4 for running our debit card. After tip, we paid over $100 and had almost no leftovers. It just wasn't worth it. We thought with the prices it would be a large portion or lots of meat but just the opposite. I have no idea how these people stay in business. We were the only people in there. Two people came in for takeout, looked at the menu and left without ordering. The location is bad, the place is run down, you can see into the dingy kitchen. The tables and chairs are cheap metal. The kid is sitting in the dining room on a computer watching you tube videos at full blast. It is not a nice atmosphere for the $25 a plate price tag average. I am sure they are very nice people and it is good home cooking, but I can get just as good for half the price elsewhere. We are always warmly greeted at our favorite place, seated promptly, given a check to review, cashed out timely, and often given extra naan and samples of specialty items of the day. I am sure if this place tried to be more hospitable and lowered their prices they would get double the business. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. I would not recommend this place nor will I ever be back.

vinayak chavan

Authentic homely & heavenly cooked food by a very nice family. I usually come on business visit to Ogden and make it to the point to visit this place once in a week (want to visit more often but meetings keep me busy). I get home sick and this is the exact delicacy cooked at my place. I would encourage people from here or from any part of the world to atleast visit this place once in their journey to Ogden. Kind regards

Marcus Zabokrtsky

Best Indian food in Ogden... Best Indian food in Utah... and probably the best Indian food in the Western United States. These guys have it right on! Fresh food, prepared the traditional way with a large variety of items including the best MANGO LASSI you have ever had! They are extremely affordable and will accommodate your heat pallet if you so desire! 5 Stars!

seppopovich smith

This restaurant is AWESOME!! Great flavor, excellent host/owner and a wonderful flavor. This food is cooked from scratch, old school - tastes great! I would argue it is one of the most overlooked places in Ogden to eat. Highly reccomend Boti Kebab Marsala!

Joye Cummins

Best place ever! My husband, and I go every week on date night. We always get the butter chicken, and chicken tikka swaggala. Spice level 8, with garlic naan. I love the sauce, I could drink it. We always get rice, no extra cost! We do get it to go a lot too.

Chasity Siilata

Overpriced for the quality of food. It was pretty bland. Plus, I’ve never been to an Indian food place that makes you pay extra for rice until I came here.

Dylan Bauer

Great food and healthy proportions. It was clean inside and the owner's were friendly.

William Smith

Excellent food. Great service too.

Adam Davidsavor

It was excellent, I was very satisfied with my meal there

liisa shafer

Good quality and freshly made Indian food at average prices. We had the chicken vinaloo, which was good, and the chicken jalfrezi, which was great, with rice. We also had the regular nan and the garlic nan which is cooked in a clay oven and was very tasty. The chai, and the mango lassi were mentionable as well. Something to mention though is that if you do not like spicy hot food make sure you tell them to make it very mild.

Jennifer Bunch

Best place for Indian food in the whole state!!! Every dish I have tried is delicious!!

Sa Greene

The food here is amazing. The owner and family are awesome. I recommend this place all the time.

s samaguey

Loved the food great staff price is worth it but sometimes the food taste different everytime i order same meal but its clean

bryant sanchez

They were so nice and really friendly. First time having Indian food and I loved it

Brittle Blakely

This place was delicious! I ordered a 7/10 spice and my boyfriend ordered a 5/10 I loved how spicy mine was, it could have even been spicer and I would’ve enjoyed it still. My boyfriend said next time he would probably order a 4/10. I like things hot and he likes things more mild. If that helps anyone when deciding what spice level to get. The service was quick. We got our food pretty fast which was nice and our drinks were never halfway empty. One server offered us more rice when ours was out and we requested it to go. There was absolutely no complaints with the professionalism and customer service. Every table was cleaned off immediately after guests left which is super important to me. I don’t like seeing dirty tables. The prices are FAIR. If you’re going to eat out, expect to pay $13-15 a plate for good food wherever you go. You will be full and probably even have some to go if you’re not sharing an entree. If my boyfriend and I liked the same spice level we could have ordered one entree and would’ve walked out satisfied. But we have a full meal for tomorrow so I think it’s worth the price. We will definitely be back again!

Larae Talley

Beware!!!!! Found a roach egg in my food. I will never return here again.

A.I. Monroe Auto Sales

I’ve been to every Indian restaurant in this state, this place is hands down THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN UTAH. No question and no doubt. Great service, great food, great people. Worth the visit!

feroz chera

The Panneer Masala was just made with ketchup. Roti was very dry. Biriyani tasted like some kind of fried rice. Overall it no where tasted like real Indian food.

Benjamin Finnell

This is one of the better Indian restaurants I have eaten at. The food is great, but be prepared to wait a bit (5-15 min for appetizers and 30 minutes for entrees) since everything is made to order. I had the meat samosas and the lamb saagwala (lamb, spinach, cream sauce). The taste was perfect, and they use a 1-10 scale to let you choose how spicy you want it. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, and I will definitely be coming back.

natasha

Went to lunch with my boyfriend. Service was mediocre. Food was ok (I've had much better). My main complaint is that they charge extra for rice! We ordered masala, and then we were told that the rice would be extra! What kind of place doesn't include the rice? It's like being charged extra for noodles when you order spaghetti. Also, when we paid. We still of course tipped the 18%, but then they changed the tip amount. So I was charged even more for a meal that I did not enjoy.

Shem Lemmon

Pros: Food was tasty Cons: discourteous staff, food extremely over priced (had to buy nan and rice in addition to the food) and tiny portions. 50 bucks for 2 chicken curry plates.

Leah Schaffer

Amazing food, clean and pleasant atmosphere, wonderful staff!

adrian ulibarri

Really good food! Recommend the chicken tikki masala with rice and naan. Service was pleasant and timely. The review below me is talking about the prices being high....the food you get is real, not dropped off every morning by a sysco truck! You can't get out of a fast food joint for less than $10 anymore.

Raul Ortega

I always order my food to go Owners are extremely friendly and food is always amazing. I would recommend this place.

Stefani

I don't like giving a not-so-great review for a family-run business. They seem like really friendly people and I know it is hard to survive in the restaurant world. But the reality of our experience was the food was a so-so 3-stars and the prices were so high I had to knock off a star. Another review mentioned the high prices, but I about fell off my seat (and almost left) when I saw the prices. We are talking WAY high.I really wanted to like Bombay Grill. I am a huge fan of the local hole-in-the-wall gem, but the price-performance ratio just doesn't cut it, I'm sorry.

Jared Martin

Pretty good. Not amazing, but good Indian food.

Jacob Cook

What an awesome hole-in-the-wall family run restaurant! You seriously can't go won't here... I've been so many times and it's amazing. Mahkini and sagwalaa are the best!!

CoachNiki DotCom

Authentic, looks like a hole-in-the-wall place, and the food is fantastic. Be forewarned, the spice is truly hot; don't touch and rub your face. That said, if you leave hungry, you are bad, sick and wrong. The food is delicious, prices fair, and my stomach full. I am more than happy.

Kristie Archuleta

My most favorite place in ogden to eat!! The husband and wife are so kind and actually ask about our kids every time my husband and I go in! It’s always clean and the food is beyond delicious!!

Xiomara Chinchilla

Food is excellent, the only objection that I have is that they charge you separate for the basmati rice, isn't included with the dish entree, also they put the rice on a such little dish, that a good amount ended up on the table.

Alan Tomalino

Nutrition and flavor. If these are top criterion for you, then Bombay Grill is my top recommendation. What you won't get is the best ambience or low price. Even the desserts, their version of ice cream is fresh, real, no fake food ingredients. I feel good after eating any of this food. Their long-range rice is much more to my palate than Chinese short-grain, and is one of the many reasons I now prefer Indian over all Asian cuisine, some of which are also great.

Derek Lee

Great food,a little pricey for lunch.

Hali Evert

Best Indian food in the state!!! Everything is great and authentic! Staff is very friendly and attentive. We travel from Salt Lake to Ogden just for this restaurant.

Mounika Reddy

Bad owner. Rude service. Dirty plates. No tasty food. Worst ambiance.

Adam Oettli

Extremely overpriced for what it is!! Filthy inside as well!! Not a good experience at all!

Juan Pedro Orquiz

Food is super good!

Rodrigo Choto

This place is AMAZING!!! My first time eating Indian food and I took my wife and mother, we fell in love with the tasty food and the rice amount is amazing. I really recommend the appetizers. Samosas are so good. I ordered the chicken tila masala and the nan is amazing!!!

Shelli Cook

The best Indian Food arround! Owners are really nice and like to get to know you.

Devon Hyatt

This place is authentic and has fantastic Indian Cuisine. There chicken tikki masala Curry is the best I've ever had. There vegetable samasas and various Nan is succulent. I've tried most of it. Family owned and operated. Good folks from India raising their family and making some incredible food. I come whenever I can. You pay a little more but the price is worth the value.

Sarah Ward

Absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff. A bit pricey though.

Samuel Smith

The food was very good, but expensive. I don't think the atmosphere justifies the extra cost. It is a very basic setup. They add a fee on of you use a credit card and don't tell you, so you may not even notice of thou don't look at the receipt abs see the fee on top of the price you were just quoted. For lunch I had a little bit left add the other guy had none left. That was ordering a dish and rice each plus some naan to share I am craving the food, but at over $40 for lunch for two it did seem pricey fur what we got.

Kelsey Roberts

First time ordering here and was not impressed. I got the butter chicken and the chicken was extremely dry and tough, and the sauce was pretty bland. Naan was also very bland. I'd try it again because I've heard good things, but I was not impressed at all.

Joel Manning

One of Ogden's best hidden gems- hands down. Some of the absolute best Indian food I've ever had.

Kylee Clark

Literally the best food I have had in my life. Authentic Indian Food made by the owners, they were even watching their daughter do her homework in the corner. I am so glad that I went, ORDER THE VEG PAKERA ITS AMAZING

Hollie O

Delicious! Expensive, but worth it! Clean and great service.

shahnazurs

Paneer butter masala has tomato sauce and it was not Taste like paneer butter masala. I doubt I visit or recommend this restaurant to other.

Terresa Shreve

One of our favorite places to eat in Ogden! Best Indian food available! The staff is super friendly and food is made to order!

Deborah Kent

This is the first time I've had Indian food. It was amazing!! I'd definitely come back again.

Lee Copeland

Excellent food and service. Been going there for years.

Leah Wallace

Good food

DB Farmer

Phenomenal and authentic. Best Indian food I have ever had. A must stop whenever I am in Utah.

will broccolo

Simply the best in Indian food you can get. Prices have gone up a bit, however it's still worth it. The staff is very nice and accommodate your every need. I recommend the mango lamb curry. I love spicy food, that being said I wouldn't venture above a 5 though. Also try the garlic naan bread. Simply delicious!

Josh startin

Placed an order for takeout for 2 Tikka Masalas and 1 garlic Naan. My total was 39.46 which according to their menu the curry is 15 each and the Naan is 3.50. Other than the fact they ripped me off the Tikka was subpar at best.

Karen Snarr

When I rate a restaurant these are the 5 stars: service, atmosphere, food, price, extra mile in most or all other categories. These are the reasons for my rating: 1. Nobody greeted us at the door, just told us to sit down anywhere. We were not brought a check at the end, but expected, without being told, to figure out to go up to the register to pay. There is a service fee for paying with a card, including debit cards. 2. It was unclear where the door was to enter the restaurant. The seating area was bland and "under-budget" for the prices they charge. They decorate with blinking Christmas lights instead of some kind of authentic, traditional Indian artwork and the tables were cheap and wobbly. 3. The food was bland. I ordered a Paneer Masala and the paneer was burnt badly on the bottom and very dry. The sauce tasted like tomatoes and cream - hardly any indian spices. My husband ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and he enjoyed it, but not the best he has had. The garlic naan was a good size and one filled up both of us. The strawberry lassi was good. 4. Price is quite outrageous. Compared to other higher-quality Indian restaurants we have been to, the naan was double the cost, each meal was at least $2 more and DID NOT include the rice (one serving of basic rice was $3.50), and the lassi was half the size for a similar price. Overall, we were very unimpressed and dissatisfied with our experience there and will be searching elsewhere for an Indian restaurant that is on par with Bombay House in Provo or Indian Oven in Logan.

John Tucker V

We moved to Ogden and had to leave our favorite Indian Restaurant. We found The Bombay Grill and loved it. I would recomment the Chicken Tikka Masala.

Craig Stapp

I brought my wife here for lunch hoping she would like something from this Indian restaurant as she was convinced she didn't like Indian food from one try years ago. Well she LOVED the food here, and all of it was her first time trying the various dishes. I loved it too. We had the vegetable samosas as an appetizer, stuffed with potato and peas. Well, I eaten a lot of Indian food in Asia, Japan, and Thailand, and they were fantastic but these were probably the best samosas I've had. Golden brown, cooked perfectly with some delicious dipping sauces. For entrees she had a lamb shari korma curry dish and I had the chicken tika masala. Delicious with perfectly made basmati rice. We also had Peshawari naan bread, with a cherry marmalade stuffing. Wow!! Delicious! In fact we ordered another to go! And the mango chutney was very nice with the naan. This restaurant doesn't have the fancy decorations of other great Indian restaurants in the area like Taste of India in Layton, but it's clean and welcoming and has an open kitchen. It does have great food the equal to, or in my opinion, better. The difference is the chef/owner and his wife do all the cooking and everything else. With the open kitchen, it's like your in their home kitchen having a home cooked meal. And that's what makes this place one not to miss. If your looking for authentic home style cooking for Indian food, not feeling like your in just another commercialized kitchen and restaurant, then come here. My wife is now a fan!

Brett Winfrey

Best Indian food around!

James McGrane

Super delicious Indian food! Naan and Puri were light and fluffy with great flavor. My lamb vindaloo was possibly the best I've ever tasted and had very rich taste with the perfect heat level. The owners were very nice and explained dishes. Will be back next time I am in Ogden!

Jeff Martin

One of my favorite restaurants in Utah. I stick to the garlic or paneer naan, biyrani, chicken mahkini and shahi korma and I’m never disappointed. Not sure why people talk down the staff. It’s family run and they are always welcoming and extremely nice to my family. The wife always ask how my kids are doing. Recommend everyone give it a shot and try to get to know the owners.

Jess M.

Hands down, the best Indian food in Utah!! Family owned. Owners are so wonderful. Place is always kept clean. I haven’t found an Indian restaurant that comes close to this place.

MejiCast

Nice family owned indian restaurant. Very friendly staff and incredibly delicious food! You know they use the freshest ingredients the moment the food touches your tongue.

carson normington

Definately one of my favorite places to eat and the staff are fantastic.

afterlifesol

Very good. Would recommend, don't let the location drive you away.

Kevin Cundick

Food is excellent. It's a little pricey, but very good.

Jory Smith

Very good food, will be back for sure.

Cheyenne Herlandstein

Best Indian food in Ogden! Great family-run restaurant. Bring a bottle of wine & invite all your friends!

Matt Egan

Amazing food, friendly service and a clean location.

Kendra Johnson

I expect most Indian Restaurants to be a bit of a dive, and this was no exception. Though the staff was polite, the spice levels were very weak for Indian. I wouldn't recommend.

A Cruz

The food is great and the service is great as well. My family and I enjoyed our dinning experience here. Be prepared to spend a bit more then expected. This place has a relaxed and homely atmosphere and kind staff. I recommend this place and will be a returning customer. Great Indian cuisine.

Nicole Elgueta

I have never liked Indian food until THIS place. Amazing! So delicious!

Kayleen Cosgrove

Love the food! One of my most favorite restaurants. People in my family who hate spicy foods and those who love the spicy foods are happy here because they can custom order the level of heat in the dish. Even the most picky eaters I know love the chicken makhani dish they make there.

Zealus Gate

Could use some atmosphere but the food is on point. Soooo good..they have a 1-10 spice scale.. I sit around 5-7 spice. My S.O. can handle 7-9.. We have yet to try the 10. The samosa are amazing. They have a vegan vegetarian menu that is huge and they serve great lamb. NO BEEF The owners are Sikh ( I believe) and eat vegetarian. Most Indian and Pakistani people don't eat Beef. Edit: took a friend in to get the 10... He loved it wants to go back!

J. P.

Best authentic Indian cuisine in Northern Utah, perhaps the State. Don't be a loser on the side of the road crying because you chose the wrong restaurant, be a winner

Hallie Goettsche

Delicious food! My fiancé loves spicy food, got the 8/10-very happy. We will be back! Customer service was great!

Teresa James

My sister and I stopped in for the first time today. I had the chicken makhani and raita. Absolutely delicious! The food was fresh and made with care. Thanks Bombay Grill! Even tho we brought leftovers home, I can't wait to eat at your place again...

Krystal Chucay

A bit pricey, but the food is totally worth it.

Taylor Frost

This restaurant is amazing - we like it better than most of the ones in SLC. Well worth it!

Barrett Wilson

I like to do business with honest people. This place is not! I won't give swindlers another dime. I've never met a host so set on refusing to redeem the certificate with their name on it. I hate being lied to, and what's worse is a persistent liar who raises volume and increases lunacy levels to save a couple of dollars. Good food, but a shady owner.

MissPepperPony

I come to Ogden once a year and this is the place I make sure I go. To anyone who thinks the food is overpriced, its not. Running an independent restaurant is not cheap, and in order to pay the overhead, sometimes you have to raise prices. Remember, meat has jumped in price the last few years. Besides, for the quality and quantity of food you get, it really is a great price. No, the nan is not complementary, if you want free bread, go to the Olive Garden. But seriously, its 2 bucks, its worth it. The Lamb Saagwala is my personal favorite, if you like spicy, go with an 8 and be warned, it sneaks up on you. Also, try the coffee. It's AMAZING!

I have eaten Indian food from all over the U.S. Unfortunately, I have never been to India! This restaurant is, hands down, the best! It is often dead there, don't let that fool you! A neat family runs it and they are very nice to chat with. The finest authenticity, but that food is spicy! I like things spicy and once made the mistake of ordering it as an "8" on a scale of 1-10 and I could not eat it! I now stick with a 5 which is rather spicy. I'm glad they give you that sliding scale option, too. The restaurant is actually a pretty nice space, as well. They use cloth tablecloths and napkins and nice wares. I would say it is a place you can go for a nice date or a place to bring friends.

Great food

If you’re a masochist who gets off on being ignored and demeaned when you do finally get any semblance of “service” you should definitely eat here. We waited for over 30 minutes after being seated only to be treated very rudely and told to “slow down” while we made our order. They brought us one small plate of rice for our two dishes of curry which quickly ran out and when I requested more the waitress abruptly told me that they only give one rice plate per 3 dishes. She said it would cost extra and I said not to worry about it. She brought the rice anyway then made sure to chime in at the last minute as we were paying to remind the owner to write down the extra charge.

The food was excellent, but the price was a little on the high side, and it looked like they could use some additional help. Overall it was a good experience.

If you like authentic Indian Cuisine this is your best option in the Ogden area, the staff and owner are always nice and friendly and want to make sure that your food taste great. They are on the more expensive side about $50 to $60 for two people if you just get the meals and not any naan bread but I promise you won't be disappointed if your fix requires Indian food. After going to this restaurant multiple times I assure you they are the best around. Oh and by the way when they ask how hot 1 to 10.... (6 is hot), and I love hot so just a heads up.

Went due to reviews read on Google and trip advisor. Service was fine. Clean tables. Area not my favorite. Wanted to love it. I really enjoy both Indian restaurants in Logan. As well the Bombay House in SLC. but the food here was just not up to standards of those.

Shay Voorhees

The food here is ahhhhmazing!!! Yum yum yum! Everything is so so goo . Best Indian food around. Seriously.

Gary Mullennax

Great food. The place doesn't look like much, but looks can be deceiving because this place rocks.

Austin Wimmer

The food was definitely quality, it did take a while, and the price is high. The store front is clean and quiet when we were there and I would recommend the Mango chicken curry

Hallie Stanley

Excellent food and service. Large portions too, so be prepared to take home leftovers.

Zak Singleton

Amazing authentic Indian quisine, the best curry in northern Utah hands down. With a super friendly and attentive staff to boot!

Kevin Wood

I've been going here for years. The food is great and so is the service. If you're not a big spicey person stuck with a level 1, level 2 has a little kick and is enough for me.

The best Indian restaurant ever! My family and I go in as often as we can afford and the owners are so kind to us. When we go in on special to celebrate special occasions they will give us free dessert. Bombay Grill is my favourite restaurant and they have amazing service.

Derik McGuire

Good food, but it would be nice for them to put on Google that it closes between 230 and 500. Instead it just says it is open 11 till 10

Casey Cook

The butter chicken is delicious. Service was very prompt.

Marie Hahn

I always enjoy the food here. The menu items all taste different, and the chef is good about creating a meal as spicy or mild as you request. The restaurant is small and quiet, and nice place to converse. Plenty of food for leftovers.

Over priced ....

Aaron Bell

Really enjoyed the Naan bread. Very delicious!

John Peterson

Incredible authentic Indian food. The owners are always there and you feel like you're at their home enjoying food that would be made the same if they were in India. It's truly a hidden gem in Ogden.

Ryan Cummins

Best chicken sagg ever...spice level 10

Badr Rizzo

I was waiting for my food for an hour and they gave me wrong food . They asked to don't come to the restaurant again. The guy there is really rude .

Whitney Parker

Very friendly and patient family that owns the restaurant. Definitely my favorite place to get Indian food. Everything is authentic and the enviroment is inviting.

Excellent India food! We tried a number of different curry plates and a dry plate at different levels of spicy. I enjoy eating jalapeños straight and we went with a level 4 spiciness which was almost too hot. Their Lamb was amazing and the best dish we had at a level 2 spicy. The Naan was good but the rice served with the meal was better. We were there before the lunch rush and it was a little on the slow side, but everything is made to order and it's a family run business. Expect to wait for fantastic food. It is on the pricy side $16-17 a plate, Naan extra. Overall a great place and I will go again.

Yummy and at a pretty good price too! The staff we're also very kind!

Miyah Turgeon

Great food small family run place.

I am really surprised that this place received so many stars from other people! I must admit that food was OK, but not excellent at all. It was served though in a clumsy way - plates were way too small so food was dripping from edges and it was hard to take first spoons out of ordered meals not to make mess on a table - very weird! But the real strange thing was the fact that rice was not included in a dish and charged separately! Really??? I have never seen it in any other Indian restaurant! Very poor atmosphere for the price you are paying! And stay away from restrooms - they are dirty! That was my first and last dining over there.
