Excellent. Our family had several different dishes. Everyone enjoyed their dishes.

Amy Terry

Their food is simply delicious. I favor the chicken dishes more than lamb. Love the spices that are always mixed just right. I always ask for extra cucumber salad. It has a vinegary dressing and fires up my appetite. The owner and his wife are lovely people. Must try!!

James Patten

Best Indian restaurant in town!! I have been going to this restaurant for a while now. I always get the chicken coconut curry mild spiced with the garlic tandoori naan. I have never been disappointed, I would recommend this place to anyone.

masoom ahmad

What a great find! My family and I were passing through town and wanted Indian food. This spot filled the bill. We had the chicken tikka masala and chicken coconut curry spicy and vegetable samosas. Couldn't be beaten! The mint chutney with the tandoori naan was excellent.Next time we are in Saint George we will definitely stop by

Ryleigh Warner

Crazy to find great Indian food in a food desert like St. George, but here it is. Great for takeout. I’ve tried a lot of things on their menu and haven’t found a bad thing yet.

Jenni Broomhead

Robert Ennis

Tremendous Pakistani food. "Butter chicken" doesn't sound like a great name, but it's my favorite, most savory dish there. Great staff, too.

John Grafelman

Food is incredible, but the building is old and smells kinda funny. It could really use some repairs.

Joshua Hunter

Great food and service

Belak Htruk

Quick and friendly service, decent food and a nice atmosphere. Grab it to go too. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I had the coconut curry chicken for about 10 bucks and it was a good portion too, not huge, but it'll fill you up.

Travis Sanders

The butter chicken is awesome!

Omar Pham

Awesome indian food at a reasonable price. I had the chicken coconut curry and the garlic naan and it was amazing.

Craig Blodgett

Amazing food, favorite restaurant in Cedar City! Owner is very friendly and personable.

Karthik Sridhar

Avoid unless you have no other choice at all. The food is not that bad but nothing stands out either. I requested for a cup of hot water and the person at the counter did not even care to look at me while saying ‘no’. It is understandable that they are the only Indian restaurant in Cedar City, but it lacks the taste and feel of real Indian food.

Brandon Wood

Great food and service

Bombay cafe is the worst place to go. There is only one man in that restaurant and he is very rude. First thing he is mentally sick. He shouts crazily. And he will make the customers clean their uncleaned tables. Food is worst. My suggestion is dont go to that restaurant. The owner is very very very rude and mentally sick. I dont give any rating. He disrespects all the indians. He is mad.

Skylar Sadlier

The food is so good. This is my new favorite place to eat. Their lamb is always perfectly cooked.

Karl Petty

Convenient departure from the normal.

Julia Weber

The pineapple chicken was so delicious. I was recommended by someone who had eaten here before ,and they were right that this place is outstanding.

Eric Monson

I waited a week on this review to see how I felt...this place makes me sad. Their food is tasty and well prepared, but Bombay Cafe is over priced. The restaurant style and ambiance is casual, but I paid white linen prices. Good food, but sadly I won't return.

John Reid

What a great find! My husband and I were passing through town and wanted Indian food. This spot filled the bill. We both had the chicken tikka and the samosas. Couldn't be beaten! The mint chutney with the lime flavor was excellent.Next time we are in Saint George we will definitely stop by

Preston Avery

Great food! Never disappointed

Scarlet Fowler

Perfect meal after a stressful day! Like coming home to mom’s dinner

Rhonda Wagner

The pineapple chicken is SO Delicous!

Tonight was the second time we visited the new location in Washington City. The first time the menu was limited, as the owners were traveling internationally and had hired a chef to fill in while they were gone. He had not perfected the entire menu, but the items he did prepare were delicious. Tonight, with the owners back and the full menu available, we were again treated to a fantastic meal and friendly service. The decor in Bombay Cafe is simple, as are the few tables and two booths. But who goes to an Indian restaurant for decor? This place has it where it counts; in the curry, the vindaloo and, tonight, the chicken korma. Accompanied by a simple garlic naan, it was a terrific dinner.

Victor Smith

The food was great. I just wished there was some music. The atmosphere was very quiet and awkward.

BJ Vest

Best lamb of my life. Good flatbread too. Super friendly and fast service.

Amberdawn Binkerd

I absolutely love this place! I could eat here several days a week and never get tired of it. I actually have when it was by the university and I was still taking classes. The casual atmosphere and service is amazing. The owner and his wife are friendly and conversational. I love talking to him about his artwork and about all of the awesome clothes, bags, jewelry, etc that they sell there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody to enjoys ethnic or spicy food.

ankit jain

Pathetic food. They serve in home plates which are very untidy. I do not recommend to anyone. It's better to have mac'd or subway, if u r vegetarian.

Rebekah Jackson

The food is good, but if you've been spoiled to some really exceptional Indian restaurants you might be a little disappointed. I've tried a few things (tonight I got the Butter Chicken), and to be honest I'm not sure I'd go back for anything I've tried.

Mike Calvo

Very authentic taste.

Mohammed Al

مطعم هندي جيد المستوى وخدمتهم ممتازه

Vince Bennett

The gentleman serving us was very kind and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this place. The food was fairly quick for a restaurant and high quality. Thank you, to the people working there. We loved it!!!

Adam Wilson

I had the curry chicken plate, wife had the coconut curry chicken plate. Both were excellent. The food here is wonderful. We had been looking for an Indian food restaurant and we found it! We will definitely be back to try other things! By the way, prices are reasonable. Our selections were right around the $9 range, and we got a lot of food for the price!

Paul Scott

Amazing food and service

oceia grainger

Worst "food" I've ever seen, smelled, or tried to eat. Everything is gray. Frozen veg. Avoid at all costs!

Ian Anderson

Very underrated place! I hardly ever see people here, but the food is always great! I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants an excellent curry plate.

barley peace

I was surprised to find this gem of a restaurant right on Main Street in Cedar City. Surprised because I didn't know it was there for about 2 years (don't judge, I'm from out of town) but tonight I rectified that Grievous oversight. I had the coconut chicken curry at $8.99 for the dinner entree, and it was utterly delicious. The chicken was tender, in nice bite-sized chunks, and the coconut curry was beyond belief, prepared exactly as I requested, spice-wise. The owner was courteous and warm, and I can't wait to get back there to try the lunch entrees. The next time I go, I'll post the picture before I eat my food

6crazynays

Good food. Ok prices. A bit run down.

Elizabeth Young

Delicious authentic Indian food.

Eric Jensen

Amazing Indian cuisine in Saint George

Pat Cummings

Although we didn't eat here, I wanted to point out that the menu includes several Indian lamb dishes. It is more of a cafe, suiting its name, than a restaurant. The problem was that every dish includes onion, and apparently, they cannot remove them, so we weren't able to try out the food. It smelled delicious, though, and if you want Indian cuisine downtown, this is the place!

Srikanth Raj

Big time CHEATS and LIARS! I placed a to go order at this restaurant . First of all, they charged me over the phone while placing the order itself instead of at the time of picking up the order. When I reached there, I requested for some onion and lime on the side for which the person started getting furious and said that he cannot give it. No Indian restaurant does that. And this was not a very special request that I was making. His attitude was so bad that I told them that I am going to write a review against them and he started abusing me! He also came outside to my car and threatened me! And when I see my bank transactions today , I see that this cheat has charged me 5$ extra to the total amount. GROW UP and find a way to make an honest living and improve the quality of your atrocious food and stop finding CHEAP ways of cheating your customers.

Ankit Surekha

Extremely poor service, didnt have basic things likr onion and lemon.. told us we could not share plates even though the quantity was limited.. naan was frozen, not freshly made.. probably chana masala that we ordered was as well... No flavour in the chana at all...

Joyce Queiroz

Laid back atmosphere, nice staff, yummy and quick Indian food! Many veg and meat options.

Arbind Karna

Hannah Price

Amazing food and service

Amber James

Authentic and delicious food with prompt, friendly customer service! One of the only places in Cedar that caters to a vegan diet while still delivering yummy, nutritious food. A true hidden Cedar gem!

Anil Mare

Worst Indian food that I have eaten in any Indian restaurant in USA. Nothing seems to be fresh. The vegetables and breads (naan) were all frozen foods.

Robert Sagers

Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Amazing curry, and their garlic naan was also very tasty. Quaint little family owned and run place with excellent service. Definitely recommend!

Deva Divvela

#STAYAWAY If your fan of Indian food, just ignore this restaurant. Its better to stay hungry than eating this food.

Mastadex

It's "Indian Food". As in, its curry-like. The Naan bread, I mean, "flatbread", is store bought and reheated on a frying pan.

Angelika Sisson

They are always warm and treat me with respect here. I loved them when they were off of the Boulevard and still do here. The food is genuine and delicious. They are very spiritual and family oriented here and I adore that and The portions are just right. I have never had a bad experience here. :)

Tanya smith

I had the pineapple chicken with the naan bread and it was awesome. The prices are really affordable as each entree is under $10. The staff was really nice.

Diane Gonzalez

I'm from Los Angeles and this food rivals some of the best restaurants there. Good portions, well priced and the gentleman is very kind. I recommend the lamb, but if you are just starting out, order the coconut curry. Enjoy!

Sachin Bhat

We showed up at 8:20 PM on a Saturday night and the restaurant cashier told us that we weren't allowed to eat in the restaurant. This is despite us driving 1 hour from zion to get indian food. Only 2 vegetarian options were available on the menu the dal channa and channa masala. Nothing else was available. Very bad service.

Weston Johnson

I really enjoy the owners and such great food

bray pach

Best Indian food in town! The chicken coconut curry is my absolute favorite too! Highly recommend coming here!

Mike Perez

Fantastic food. Very nice staff. Highly recommend the chicken tiki masala.

Robert Gurr

You can't go wrong. Vindaloo, coconut curry, Masala, it's all delicious. I've been eating here for years.

Charlie Christensen

I stop by here for lunch occasionally, never crowded. Quick Indian food for $-$$

jemboharb

One of the best restaurants in town

Jaime Napples

the food is amazing and totally worth coming here

Ruth Brown

Soren Castillo

Bombay Cafe is the best restruant I've ever had the pleasure to eat at in my entire life. I try to go there once a week and I'd eat there everyday if I could.

Ivy Laudie

It was so so so goooood

Mercedez Ranieri

My favorite! I get the Chicken Coconut Curry and it is always perfect!

Jessica Finch

I just discovered one true hidden gem of saint George, called Bombay cafe which serves amazing chicken coconut curry! I keep wanting to go back, maybe I will go tomorrow once they open.

Kinsley Ward

These guys are the bomb! I've been going to them for a long time, and will never ever ever get sick of it!!

Mitul Patel

Okay service, but the food was spicy.. So if you don't eat spicy make sure to order mild

Karen Hawkins

Delicious food! I can say one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. I had the pineapple chicken with the garlic naan. Service was quick and friendly.

somaah Ismail

Seriously ?!!!! I'd report this place. I called to ask about the food. And this is how he replied to me. "I don't know what u r talking about shut up and look up the menu" !!!!!!

Trent Price

If you find all the bad reviewers of this place on facebook, almost all live in other countries very far away. It seems to be some weird bad review hit. Most authentic, great tasting, quality Indian food in cedar city. The prices are great for the food you get. It’s not a fancy booth restaurant, but its not meant to be. It’s meant to be a good atmosphere and the best food.

Robbie Watson

Fast service, decent price and excellent food!

BrieAnn Peterson

It was absolutely delicious, I was surprised it was so slow. The food was fair prices and the atmosphere was really chill. I had the chicken Tikka masala and my husband had the chicken vindaloo. Loved the garlic naan

Sudeep Chaturvedi

Rosemarie Alvera

It was awful the food was like frozen food cooked with a little indian seasoning. It was as if they reheated frozen food and tried to pass it off as freshly made from scratch. Don't even try it. This place needs chef Gordon Ramzy to do a make over

Richard Halstead

Best Indian food I've ever had. Looking for something different? Look no further.

vikram boddupalli

Stay away worlds worst Indian rated restaurant

Kathy Rodriguez

Great chicken curry with the naan bread. I will definitely be back

Madeline Herrera

It's always a treat to come to Bombay Cafe. I always get my money's worth and leave a satisfied customer. I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala.

Mizu Shiori

Gary Halversen

Awesome authentic India cuisine. Try the chicken coconut curry.

R Coash

Wonderful dining experience

Kathryn Lambert

The Chicken Tikka Masala is the BEST I have ever had!

Jake Ames

I had the lamb coconut curry and it was amazing! I will definitely bring some friends to try this gem.

Bobby Folsom

"Pretty good taste, but the lamb was a little soft and flavorless. Not worth the $13 for a plate just big enough to feed your 10 year old child. Red Fort is much better in every way, with all do respect to Bombay Cafe, I regret spending $32 for a small dinner for 2"

Lauren Moors

First timers and definitely not our last! We ordered the Lamb curry, butter, chicken and chicken coconut curry. It was absolutely delicious. The flavors were so good and it was a much needed change from your everyday burger and fries. Owners are very friendly and came by to make sure everything was ok. Thank you so much.

D Fullmer

Terrible service, it took forever to get our orders (we were a party of 7, they brought out one plate at a time: some were finished before the rest go their food). We were shorted some of our order and not offered a solution. Cannot recommend this place at all.

Arpan Malviya

The menu on the site and property shows a severe lack of variety in dishes. The server told us that they were closed even though the sign outside said Open. Ambience of the place was not great either. Didn't get to taste the food hence the two stars.

Kaden

Great, authentic cuisine! I've had food from all over that part of the world (Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) made by the wonderful people there and this is top notch! I enjoyed the spicy lamb curry. It had the kick I hoped for and the meat was succulent and well spiced. Well worth the price for a fancy meal. The restaurant could use some redecorating to add a more authentic atmosphere!

Tasha Collins

Lamb coconut curry medium spiced was amazing with the garlic naan

John Gilkeson

Really good food. Can be a little spicy but overall great quality. The flat bread is killer!!

Wiliam Guerrero

My favorite restaurant to eat ever since I discovered this hidden gem, last month. I LOVE their chicken coconut curry with the garlic naan bread

Madison Bliss

Our service was great but the overall quality of the food was sub par. When I tasted my chicken tikka masala it felt oily in my mouth and the texture was off. The atmosphere and general mood of the restaurant also left a little to be desired.

Ari Eberlin

Fabulous! Had the chicken curry and was not disappointed. I loved how friendly the owners were and how spicy the hot level dish was. Don't go for the decor go for the food! I will go back when I am in St. George next!

B.J. Hawkins

Delicious, authentic Indian food. It's very flavorful, and VERY filling! What's more, you can choose how spicy your food is: mild, medium or hot (I chose hot because that's how I roll). Yes, it's true that service is slow, but that's because the owner is the only one in the cafe. So, if you're unlike some of the other people who reviewed the Bombay Cafe (those people who are horribly IMPATIENT!), and you stick with it, you will be rewarded with the best Indian food you've ever had! Lastly, the owner is a kind, patient and understanding person. Don't listen to the naysayers! I'm going back to the Bombay Cafe! Won't you join me?

Mikayla Doria

My husband and I love this place!!! We’ve tried quite a few different curries here and we are never disappointed. The butter chicken is my favorite by far. It’s always just the right amount of spiciness and the flavor is great. The garlic naan is really good too. The decor is quite plain, but don’t let that deceive you. Only complaints is that it usually takes a little while for someone to come out of the back when we first get there, and it’s a little pricey to eat on a regular basis as a college student.

Bryan Burton

Excellent food and service

Rick Davis

Wonderful chicken coconut curry with the flatbread

Nick Peterson

Great place to eat. Loved the lamb curry and naan bread. Highly recommended!

Namita Nisal

I would give 0 stars if Google would let me. Extremely rude person at the counter and on the phone. We called 30minutes ahead of time to place an order for pickup, the person answering the phone call was really rude. We reached the restaurant at 8:24pm, well in time (Google said it closes at 9:00pm). And the person at the counter rudely responded that he had closed everything and his employees had left, and that he had nothing to serve us. Very unreliable service. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here.

Nawaz Haque

Authentic halal food. We ordered chicken coconut curry and lamb shank both of them were out of the world taste. Gonna come back for sure.

Thomas Hughes

Great food. Definitely something different for Cedar.

Eric Witzke

Davy Jones

The new location has just as delicious of dishes as ever. We were treated to some made-from-scratch Indian fair that was delightful and very yummy.

zalmai faraz

This is not genuine Indian restaurant. The guy I talked to introduced himself as the owner of the restaurant and said he is from Pakistan and the food was no match to Indian food I had in the past.

Chelsea H.

Love the food! The vegetable samosa is heavenly. New location has better parking and a more open dining area. Nice to have an authentic Asian restaurant on the St. George/Washington border, especially if I need to go next door to Costco... That way I don't shop hungry.

Heather Price

The chicken tikka masala was excellent. This restaurant cooks the dishes fresh to your desired spice range. I especially liked that because I don’t like too much spice, I went with medium spice

Kayla Adams

The food here is spectacular! I highly recommend ordering the Chicken Korma. Easily my favorite place to eat in Cedar City!

Melinda Tracy

Bombay Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in St. George. Everything is made fresh and is SO YUMMY! Our favorites are the coconut curry and chicken korma. It’s also awesome that almost everything on the menu is under $10.

Brett Johnson

Definitely the best (and only) Indian food in St George, but so-so compared to really good Indian food in a larger city. I wish they had a buffet, as I find their dishes to be too monotonous with only a single flavor.

Richard Sadok

Great food and good service--owner very friendly. Loved the Chicken Korma and my wife loved the Chicken Coconut Curry. We will be back when we visit St George again!

Jack Rossel

Made a request to alter a dish, and I was over charged. The dish was very tasty, lamb was cooked to perfection. Rice didn't seem freshly made.

Francisco Mota

Best food in town

Marisa Sanderson

I love the flavors. The owner makes the food and spices it authentically. He remembered us and said he plans to improve the ambiance with future revenues. His customers keep coming back! I know I will!

Colby Stirland

Worst Indian food I have had. Food was bland flavored. Rice was ok. They forgot to put potatoes in my curry (he fixed it and gave me the dish for free though). The flat bread looked like they got it from Costco. Service was ok but the guy taking orders didn't seem to know anything about the menu. They made the meal vegan for me, that was nice of them.

Joe Cunningham

Great food, the ambience is very basic, but the service is polite. The food is a little spicy, even the mild, but still great.

Samantha Jensen

Chicken coconut curry was amazing with the fluffy naan bread. Great Indian fare found in Saint George by Costco!

cheryl morvillo

We love the chicken coconut curry, the spinach paneer and the flatbread . They are so delicious! We go as often as we can.

Jeremy Schudde

Shahzad and Arabia have a delicious restaurant with all the tastes and dishes you'd want. I highly recommend the chicken vindaloo and chicken curry. Have to get some flatbread too! Great prices and fast service if you need it. Love to dine in and regularly take out.

Devin A

Wonderful Valentine’s Day all you can eat buffet

Taylor Johnson

Love this place! I come here almost every week and haven't had a dish I didn’t like. The owners are very nice and remember my order everytime I come in. The chicken coconut curry is the BEST..

Diane Call

Overpriced and the water is terrible! We ordered some kind of dessert and it was barely edible. I would not go back!

Angi Edwards-Matheson

We just love their food and the rare occasions when they have a buffet are amazing!

Ashley Bennet

The chicken korma was so delicious, I will be returning!

dezertgrunt

Looked for an Indian restraunt in Cedar City. Sure enough found this place. Tried the chicken Tikka masala with garlic Naan bread... amazing! Sure the atmosphere was basic but the food was gone in mear minutes. Crushed ice was a bonus. Polite people and good food. Nice size portions. May be empty at times but at least I got my food quick. Try this place!

Dan Wiest

Good food quick service

Deidra Thomas Richards

We ordered quite a bit of food and had high expectations having experienced some great Indian food in the past. This met them all! Very impressed! Great price, portion size, and customer service. It was clean, too. The meal was big enough for two kids to share or two people who weren’t starving. We will be back!

Andrea Wilkerson

Great food and service

Troy Alldredge

This place is so nice the food makes me sad because it tastes so good and I get full but want to keep eating. I recommend this as authentic and friendly also you should ask about the art work on the wall the owner painted them and teacher art at the local college!

Tommy Lee

Hands down the most convenient, quiet and best tasting Indian food in Cedar. Get the Cocunut Lamb Curry, Garlic Bread and Mango Lasi - Best way to go! If lamb isn't your thing don't worry the rest of the menu is excellent and you can get it as spicy as you prefer. A+

Rory Hatch

bailee mellor

The food was amazing and service was spot on!!

Kit Thompson

Probably want to avoid this place unless you are really craving Indian food--as it is the only option in town. I've eaten here twice. And as a lover of Indian food, this place has the distinction of being simultaneously the most overpriced place I've eaten at while also providing the smallest portions I've been served. I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo for a take -out order & then again tried it for lunch with the spinach paneer. Both times, the person taking my order asked which kind of Naan I wanted, then charged me extra for the Naan without telling me it was extra as apparantly it isn't included in the price of the entree. In addition, my take-out order was charged $2.00 note than the posted menu price IN the restaurant and when questioned about the price, was told that the "take-out" charges are different--even though that price change is not listed in the restaurant & apparantly only available to view online. Also, my in-house order of the spinach paneer was charged full price of 9.99--in spite of a POSTED "vegetarian special" price of $8.99 on the wall DIRECTLY TO THE LEFT OF THE REGISTER!!! Lastly, the portions both times left me unsatisfied & my $2.00 naan consisted of a single, small piece of nann. So while the flavor & quality was not horrible, it was also far from good -- especially for the price -- and combined with the small portions & dishonest pricing, I will not be eating here again.

Atul Shukla

Vegetarian options and dishes must be avoided. Don't take any chance guys. Mild was spicy enough. Main Curry is served with rice and ratio of rice and Curry is 75:25. Means Curry is very less. Garlic bread is not garlic bread but it is pita bread.

dena brady

Miles Kearl

Excellent food, I ordered the chicken tikka masala and would recommend it. Very friendly and quick service!!

BOBBI MICHELLE

So great! Owner was the best.

jon becker

Excellent authentic indian food in Saint George!

Anoop Ravi

Very bad curries. It is not authentic indian. You will be disappointed if you are looking for good indian food. Moreover it is over priced. I wont recommend this place.

Vipresh Gangwal

Taste was good. But horrible customer service.I have rarely seen such a rude person. It was clear that the person was unhappy to see a customer walk in through the doors. We were the only people in the restaurant. Still we got the most rude comments reactions etc. Including a simple request for a spoon+fork with out plate of curry. YES he was too bothered to give us a sporkk. I would suggest going to other places. For example go the nearby firewood pizza place if you are looking for veg food.

Jacob Thomas

The food here is not good. I'm a huge fan of Indian food, but this one doesn't do the cuisine justice. Give this one a pass.

Anette Bauer

The menu is not extensive, but has some nice choices, including vegetarian options. The chicken curry is very flavorful. I ordered it medium spicy and it was perfect! Had a nice kick but wasn't too hot. The garlic flatbread was also very nice, I would definitely recommend. There is plenty of parking in the rear and a convenient rear entrance as well. Orders are taken at the counter and delivered to your table. The atmosphere is very simple and casual. Service was good as well. A great place for a quick and delicious meal.

Laura Smith

Butter chicken and naan bread are amazing

Neeraj Desai

When options are few, it's a good place. Naan are made from ready made packaged items.

George Clark

I had the curry chicken plate, wife had the coconut curry chicken plate. Both were excellent. We had been looking for an Indian food restaurant and we found it! We will definitely be back to try other things! By the way, prices are reasonable. Our selections were right around the $9 range, and we got a lot of food for the price!

dayne eason

Roland Shannon

Nice family Indian food.

Xerxus Icebinder

Poor food and service. Didn't taste like the Chicken Masala I ordered. Was very disappointed.

Sarah C

Not the classiest joint, but the food is good.

Barbara Scott

I absolutely love this place! We have always eaten here whenever we come to Saint George. This time I was a part of the senior games. Food has never disappointed us, owners are delightful.

Jasmine Mendoza

Great lamb coconut curry.

Eben Lee Thomas

This is one of my favorite places

Jennifer Stone

My boyfriend and I love this place! Chicken tikka masala and naan bread with vegetable spring roll is the best! Never crowded at lunch time. Super nice owner/manager and family! Interesting Indian art on the walls.

James Richard

Wonderful lamb masala, best I have ever had!

Susan Roberts

The butter chicken was amazing with the tandoori naan!

Kristen Young

Although the wait was a bit long the food was well worth it. Delicious and authentic.

Sandi Bettridge

The food is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone

kyle Vreeken

You want authentic great tasting Curry!!?! Look no further than this hidden gem! Can't believe we lived here for 3 years before discovering it! Everyone needs to try their Coconut Curry with Lamb! Wow so good!! And the owners and super friendly and there (Serving and cooking) to make sure everything is the best!! Food is so good we've been back almost every week because it's delicious!

Angela Brown

I had the chicken curry and the garlic flat bread. Food was alright. Only complaint was you stand there forever before somone comes out of the back and the rice was very dry.

Craig Graves

Lamb vindalo was amazing and service was quick and friendly.

Melissa Thomas

The food was fine, but it wasn't authentic Indian food, and I'm pretty sure most of it came from a microwave: it was ready far too quickly. I'm positive the rice did, because it was square. The sauce was thin and greasy, and the Butter Chicken had no tomato sauce in it; it was white. Also, the "mild" here was comparable to a "medium" at most other Indian restaurants I've been to. The flatbread was good, although it wasn't naan. The mango lassi was very sweet, and the consistency of a smoothie; it didn't taste like it had any real fruit in it. The ice dispenser in the soda fountain didn't work, and the ceiling was covered with fans that were not on, despite the heat of an August day -- there was a weak air conditioner, but it was insufficient. The guy who attended us was not unpleasant, but there was no extraordinary service, either. There were a couple of pictures on the wall that I hoped my daughter didn't notice. For the quality of the food and service, I felt that the prices were much too high.

Sara Black

Amazing chicken vindalo, which had chicken and veggies to enjoy.

Debby Sanders

I had the butter chicken and my hubby had the butter chicken. Both of these dishes were absolutely delicious with the tandoori naan.

Srikanth Nayak

Cameron Larson

Decent quality food, fairly good portion sizes. Prices a little high for meal and the atmosphere is not very festive or themed. I would eat here again, but not really my preference.

A+ Psychlone Computers

Consistently great food and service. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine you don't need to go to a big city, it's right here in Cedar City!

Daniel Andrews

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Saint George area. Great management- always friendly. Everything we’ve had has been good. I love their naan bread!

Alucard Soul

I'm posting about this again because I really can't express how amazing Bombays curry is, from the texture to the flavor to how amazing the vegitibales mix together to make such an amazing flavor combination. I recommend anyone who is in Cedar come try it out.

Raven Olsen

If you enjoy Indian food, this is the place for you. I had the lamb coconut vindaloo, and it was extremely good! The garlic naan bread was amazing too.

Brooke McNaughton-Hori

A hidden gem. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had! (Try the lamb curry, it will NOT disappoint)

Rachael Baker

Amazing chicken masala with the mango lasi drink!

DDizzo Majiggo

Very good food. Servings are the right size. Curry with flat bread runs between $12 and $15.

After spending a week in Cedar City, I was looking for something different from most of the offerings in town. I had driven by the Bombay Cafe a few times and decided to give it a try, and glad I did. Somewhat low key inside, I did not have high expectations. When the meal arrived, I wasn't sure what to expect as it was prepared differently than I was used to, but it was quite tasty. The menu offers lamb, chicken, and lamb dishes along with naan and several side dishes. Overall, a nice experience.

Amy Nay

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I love their food, it is so flavorful and yummy.

Michael Isom

Small to medium sized portions, high prices, and dry chicken lead me to a solid 3 star rating. Probably will not return. Go to Royal Thai instead.

Missie Melton

Went here last weekend for the first time and was well pleased. I had the lamb coconut curry (both medium) with a mango lassi and my husband had chicken curry with chai. We also had the garlic naan and gulab jamun. Everything was delicious but we both preferred the lamb. Next time I might get the mild curry but definitely enjoyed the medium, especially with the lassi. They also had some lovely jewelry for sale. Staff were very kind and welcoming. The only thing that wasn't ideal was that the restaurant was a bit warm for me and uncomfortably warm for my husband but we both really enjoyed our time eating and watching the Bollywood shows on the TV. Will definitely return.

Chuck Gillette

This is place has the most amazing coconut curry chicken dish ever. I have never had a better dish of Indian food. I like to bring friends from out of town to try it.

McCall Gillins

I love this place! Great food and great prices. Large portions. The chicken coconut curry is to die for!

Dion Munk

I’ve been coming to Bombay since it opened in Cedar City a few years ago and I’ve never been disappointed. Service is always fast and the food is always great. The flavor is spot on every time.

Keith harris

This was my first time trying the bombay cafe and it was amazing! I had the lamb coconut curry and the garlic naan.

Katherine Matisse

We are visiting from Milwaukee and were looking for good vegan options in Utah - Bombay totally fit the bill and was amazing! Great food, great prices, amazing service. we loved our dinner there.

Joshua Vieira

Great food! Very small dining room though. Not a place you want to bring a crowd for sure. The food is really good though, worth stating twice. I love their coconut curry chicken, and in a few dozen visits, I've never gotten a fatty piece of chicken.

Ivesters tree

Good food, good service, I recommend

Brian Hunt

I eat at the Bombay Cafe twice in one week and a day later my mouth is still watering at the thought of their amazing food. Might have to go back for lunch on Monday. My favorite dish to get is the chicken coconut curry with garlic naan bread. Warm, hearty and satisfying. If you like Indian food you are sure to love Bombay Cafe. Cooked to order mild, medium or hot.

Jacob Jees

First a humble request to Non- Indian visitors who really want to enjoy authentic Indian food : PLEASE STAY AWAY, THIS IS NOT AN AUTHENTIC INDIAN RESTAURANT. The guy at the counter is the rudest person you can meet on earth. I would never again go near this place ever!!

E. Marie Burt

I am not a huge Indian food fan, but the food here is delicious! Order to your chosen level of spice and get naan and a mango lassi to complete the meal!

I love Indian food! Coming from a big city with over 4million people, you can imagine that there are a countless number of Indian restaurants to choose from. While some of those are amazing, none of them compare to Bombay Cafe. This is a must stop on my travels! I love their chicken korma and coconut curry. Images: Chicken Korma and garlic bread.

Debby Anderson

We come to Bombay cafe almost every week, we are always satisfied with the phenomenal food this restaurant offers. By far the best food in Saint George!

Manuel Estrada

Great lamb coconut curry and the bread

Allison Cook

This place is great. It is family run and they are always there to insure fast friendly service. The food is consistently good. I love the chicken tika.

Leisha Mueller

Amazing food, lagit the best place to eat in Cedar

Katherine Adamson

Bombay Cafe's food is DELICIOUS! I loved the Chicken Coconut Curry, medium spice, while my husband ate Lamb Vindaloo, mild spice. The Garlic Flatbread went very well with our dinners. We had a yummy beverage, the Mango Lassi. The service was very helpful and accommodating! Definitely want to stop here again on our next trip through Cedar City.

Brad Lundell

Amazing food. My favorite place in Cedar city.

Jere Hoover

Under new management. Noraiz is the new manager of the Bombay Cafe. The food is amazing ! I will definitely be going back soon. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Greg Lundell

Great food! Pick your level of spiciness. Loved the lamb coconut curry.

Richard Bryce Bennett

The food has always been great and the owner has always been very hospitable To me and my family and business acquaintances that I have brought. With you you’re bringing your family or a business associate it’s a good place to meet and eat really good quality food. I always try to go as often as I can.

ZsaNate Kirke

If you want authentic Indian food DONT STOP HERE. Food is bland lacking spice. Ordered chicken coconut curry it was chk breast in coconut milk no veggies no cardamom no garlic just blahhhhh. The naan looked like a heated pita just no.dont wastes your

Absolutely HORRIBLE...We went because we read some good reviews but it was so bad that no one in our party of 6 could eat the meal. Im assuming that all the good reviews we read were from people that are from Cedar City, Utah and maybe haven't had the opportunity to eat good indian food. The chicken was dyed pink due to the sauce. The mild was pretty spicy and the hot was unbearable. The one and only man working in the restaurant was rude. Every single soda was flat with no carbonation so at least he refunded us the $2 for the soda. I would NEVER recommend Bambay Cafe to ANYONE!!!

Jack Lund

Our favorite restaurant in town! I come to this restaurant 3 times a week. I absolutely love their chicken tikka marsala with the naan bread!

Donnovan Werner

I had never been to this place before, hadn’t even known it existed. Came here for lunch one day with some family because they told me how good it was and they weren’t kidding. I ordered the Coconut Chicken Curry (mild) and got a side of this bread (looked like a pancake.) I didn’t leave a damn spec on my plate the food was so good. I’ll be back again and will for sure bring some friends with me!

Amit Kumar

Worst food, not many option and food is not good and expensive too. To be honest it's not INDIAN cuisine. Be careful and don't waste your money here.

This review is for their take out. We chose Bombay Cafe for our work lunch. We called the order in and they said it would be ready in an hour, we had 8 orders. We went to pick up the orders and they we about ten minutes early. All the dishes were correct and very tasty. Portions were ok for the price. As far as quality, I thought it was good. I have not had a ton of Indian food but I have had a wide variety and this was on the same level as any other dish I have had...seemed like the dish was made with good quality ingredients. I will probably go back again, was a good experience. NOTE: They do have a lot of vegetarian dishes and they are Gluten free, do not use MSG, and are Halal compliant.

Roshan Thomas

It is often difficult to find good Indian food anywhere in US. Usually an americanised version which doesn't even closely resemble the cuisine are hailed awesome in reviews. I was kinda skeptical for the same reason. Who would believe that out of no where, in the middle of Utah, you would find a good Indian Restaurant. Needless to say this was one of the best Indian restaurants I ever visited here in US. This restaurant wouldn't confuse you with a plethora of weird sounding menu options only to realise that the curry you ordered and your friend ordered were just same except for a different color garnish. We ordered lamb curry and mix veg and the spice levels were exactly as we expected. If you are not used to spicy food, you shouldn't be eating Indian food ;)

Auston Duke

The food here is delicious!

Nate Weaver

Tuker Nielsen

One of Saint George’s true hidden gems. This place has, by far, the best Indian food I have ever had!! Locally owned and operated by an awesome family. Their Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, and Flat Bread are absolute dynamite!!!

G Weston

My first time here, unfortunately he ran out of land. But I found him Pleasant and the food was quite tasty I had a coconut chicken curry and the top in the photo is naan, fried bread.

Chris Winslow

All the bad reviews on this place are an organized hit of some kind by other Indian restaurant owners I'm guessing. Did you all get together and plan it? becuase you all say the same thing. This restaurant is excellent, best curry of any Indian restaurant from Vegas to salt lake City. Ignore the bad reviews, don't miss out.

hassan ali

Best Indian food I've ever had!

Courtney Lindsay

I have celiac disease and I LOVE that all of the dishes are gluten free (except for the bread) it was amazing food and all of the employees were so happy and helpful. I’m definitely going to be eating there again!

Mike Leavitt

The best Indian food I’ve ever had! I ordered the chicken tikka masala medium and it was perfectly spiced to what I had ordered. Service was great.

Brayden Bettridge

The curry is amazing. Especially with fry bread. They even have vegan options!

Eric Hall

Bombay cafe is the Bomb! I know my Indian food and this is authentic, high quality, well presented food that tastes great.

Brian Middleton

A little pricey, but good food. It's Northern Indian/Pakistani food, not Southern Indian food.

Puneet Rangher

Jaron Christiansen

Tejbir Singh

So tasty and delicious plus a good price. So many spices, excellent rice, and buttery garlic flat bread. Yum!

Nathan Cox

The chicken coconut curry and the tandoori naan bread are my favorites, I can’t wait to go back Again and Again!

Vindryttare Morkhjarte

Great Indian food, friendly staff. Intereior is in need of some help, but the food makes up for it.

Ricardo Nunez

This place is Indian food alright, not the best but is alright. Kind of expensive to my linking. Almost $5 for 2 very small vegetable rolls, almost the price for a full meal at the restaurant next door. Our full ticket was $40 for 2 meals. Too expensive for me. There was no napkins in the place unless you requested them. Not very many choices for drinks. A bit dirty for me, but oh well. Now we know not to go back.

David Crowther

If Atif is there it is the best Indian food in Utah. And thankfully hes there all the time now!

Shelby Tobler

I had the lamb coconut curry and it was delicious.

Shawn Lucagbo

Matt Long

Great food and atmosphere! I highly recommend the chicken coconut curry or the butter chicken!

Sara McLin

Absolutely fabulous, we can't wait to go back! Everything is delicious and great comfort food for a cold night. The vegetable samosas were so good and my mattar aloo was spicy and so flavorful.

Aron Beagley

Jenny Roundy

Bombay cafe is always amazing! We have tried almost all of their menu but nothing disappoints, we come to eat 4 times a week. That tells you how much we love this Indian food.

Pushkar Pandit

Horrible. I first call to make an order. Guy puts me on hold and hangs up. So I go in person to order. Mistake. Just got a bad vibe from this guy (didn't seem like the owner). Just very rude demeanor. The food tasted so bad. These people are selling this under the name of Indian food. This is NOT INDIAN FOOD!! The food also had coloring. Curries are NOT red! That's artificial color. Also, the bread is micro waved and heated on pan. I could hear the micro wave beeping every few minutes. I threw away all the food and ordered Domino's.

Peggy Bjornn

The owner was helpful. I did his suggestion and it was so good! Very pleased. The atmosphere was pleasant and he let us to the right food and everything. Definitely recommend it again

Elizabeth Forest

Excellent! Fresh home cooked, family owned. We found this gem on the way to Zion National Park from Las Vegas. We did not expect to find so many vegetarian options. Will come back again!!

Ron Stoker

Good authentic food

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this restaurant has the Best Chicken Tikka Masala Out of other Indian restaurants I have tried in different states!

Caleb Ramsey

Chicken vindalo is delicious with the flatbread

Joshua Anderson

Really great food! One of my favorite places to eat from

Sumit Nema

They ask you credit card information on phone if you order a take away. Oh yea forgot to mention, the worst indian food i ever had

Rebecca Summers

I had ordered the chicken curry mild with the naan bread and it was the best combination to satisfy my stomach. I will definitely be going to this place again!

Ivan Lamb

Very good. I loved the coconut curry.

Davis Chipman

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this place and I would definitely reccomend anything made with lamb here. I will definitely go again.

Great food and friendly service. You can let them know how spicy you want your dish, or not spicy at all if you prefer..

Christy Fletcher

Chicken coconut curry is amazing. I can’t wait to go to Bombay cafe again!

April Larsen

Outstanding food which has a home cooked feel to it. I had the chicken Tikka masala and it was out of this world. This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have ate at.

Brad Larson

Excellent food, wonderful presentation of the food and friendly service. This is my first time at Bombay Cafe and I'll be back the next time I'm in St. George. Nicely priced. It's a great value.

This is our favorite local restaurant. I recently sat down and went through our financials in 2018, and this was the only restaurant or fast food operation that we ended up spending some money at every single month last year. I've tried nearly all of the dishes here. My favorites include the Chicken Korma and Chicken Vindaloo (if you want to go for something a bit different) but the Chicken Tikka Masala is of course an excellent stand by and a good introduction to Indian food if you've never tried it. We've brought my in-laws here and they also loved it; my wife's grandmother had never had Indian food before so we recommended she try the Tikka Masala and she really enjoyed it! Talking about spiciness can be tough; one place's 5 is another place's 10 and so on. I'd say Bombay Cafe can be spicier than many other places, so if you're a fan of spicy things maybe test yourself out on Medium first before diving straight into Hot; otherwise, stick to Mild.

Sharon Howell

Awsome food , fast & friendly service ! Was craving some authentic curry and my wish came true thanks to bombay cafe !

Jom Jose

I cannot comment on the food because we didn't actually eat here. We cancelled our order and left the place. They managed to have a super rude guy at the reception. They don't have everything that is listed in their menu and the guy at the reception actually forces you to buy what he thinks you should eat. Finally we were done with this person, asked him to cancel our orders and give our money back and left the place. I would have given this place a -5 Star if there was such an option. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF VISITING THIS PLACE.

Ryan Smith

Monday’s just got better, Bombay cafe is now open on Mondays! My favorite dish from Bombay cafe is the chicken coconut curry mild with the garlic naan bread.

I want to give negative ratings if that is possible. I ate here about a week ago since there was no other Indian restaurant around. I have written a separate review on yelp about how bad their food was and the portion size was so small to the price. I called the owner today since they charged 18 percent gratuity when the place is self service. He said look at the receipt it's written for 4 or more people gratuity would be charged. When I told him why dint you inform me when swiping the card he started abusing. No merchant can charge gratuity without customers acknowledgement. I am ashamed to say he is a fellow Indian and is a big time cheat. He is extorting money in the name of restaurant - worst food, no service, self made rule around gratuity when it's usually 5 and more. Folks who have eaten here or plan to eat, pls check your credit card charge. This has been the worst restaurant experience of my life. Owner - if you are reading, I have asked my credit card company to void the entire charge due to your horrible behavior and have lodged consumer complaint. I wish people realize soon about your fraudulent practices and you are reprimanded for that. No business integrity, you shameless guy.

Rex Jones

I've had a fair amount of Indian food in my time. I have to say, this place is outstanding! My wife and I have gone many times now. We've tried a wide variety of the dishes offered and have been impressed with each one. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. They have some very ethnic dishes for those looking for some Classic Indian food. And they also have some milder dish options for those just looking to try it out for the first time.

Ed Gantt

Great food, good prices, friendly service, authentic, home-style Indian cooking. Loved it!

Stalin SM

We stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered a daal. It turned out very salty and extremely spicy that it burned our mouth. We had placed it as a medium spicy order. When we took it up to the manager (only person in the place) he was extremely rude and arrogant. He wouldn't even listen to us. We asked him to have a look at all the red Chilly powder floating. He flatly rejected it saying that this is what you had ordered. We had to pay again for the entree again to get it fixed. And he never accepted that there was excess salt too! What a bad experience and the place has total lack of customer service.

James Lee

Great food, great service

Lincoln Herring

My hosts recommended it to me, so some locals do like the place. Checked out the menu online and was looking forward to getting in and out under $10. As of July 5, 2018, the prices are higher in-restaurant than on their website. Ordered the chana masala, but he said they were out! So I ordered palak paneer... 30 seconds after I hear the kitchen microwave open my meal arrives, so I'm suspicious. Probably just my confirmation bias, but the dish did taste a little off in my opinion. The host was always nice to me, so I am grateful for that now that after seeing the other reviews.

kylee stevens

Bombay cafe is my absolute favorite place to eat in southern Utah! Maybe even my favorite place to eat ever. The food is amazing and well priced and the service is good!

Amy Barnes

Bombay Cafe is a truly delicious Indian cuisine. You can taste the home made flavor within the dish. I recommend the chicken vindaloo with the garlic naan bread. Try this place for yourself, and you will not be disappointed.

This was so good! The owners were very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our food. It's got a great atmosphere! I would definitely come again, except I live out of town. But I loove it so much.

David Smith

Best Indian food in utah! I ordered the lamb coconut curry with the tandoori naan bread. Staff was friendly and restaurant atmosphere was great!

Marcus Zitting

Great authentic food. Something St. George needs more of! Great food, fast service, great location, and fair priced.

Corban Christensen

Great food from a small restaraunt. Because this place is so small, the owner is there cooking and serving the food. He has a passion for this and it shows in the quality of food. I've tried several Indian food restaurants before and this is by far the best. A moderately priced place to eat but worth it. I'd say it's about 10 to 16 dollars a person depending upon what you order.

Glenn Farr

Best Butter Chicken EVER!!!!!!!!

Andrew King

I have been frequenting this restaurant ever since I moved to Cedar City about two years ago. The food is absolutely delicious and prices are reasonable and the gentleman that owns and runs the store is friendly and accommodating. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Utah. I will continue eating here for years to come!

angela maldonado

Delicious and fast. We got there just before closing but owner the owner still welcomed us in. Thank you for feeding some weary, hungry travelers. Highly recommend

Valora Barlow

Loved my chicken coconut curry! However, in Salt Lake for $10 its all-you-can eat. Here its $8 for a small plate.

The customer service was really great and the food tasted great! We would definitely go back.

John Stuart

The food was super good. The restaurant was nice and clean. And the service was great too. Couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be back.

Russell Dastrup

Very good food, polite service. I've been there a few times, never disappointed

tony black

Best Indian food I have had! The chicken coconut curry was amazing.

Cierra Salcido

The chicken coconut curry and the garlic naan are amazing!

Un Kur

Simple, authentic, unpretentious and wholesome. First visit here, tried the Coconut Chicken Curry, Paneer Masala and Chicken Korma. All three entrees didn’t disappoint. Also ordered garlic naan, which were flaky and crisp. One lesson learned, order the rice on the side, instead of the chef putting the rice on the plate with the curries.

Brecken Moore

Not very much flavor for an Indian curry restaurant. But fun atmosphere, but hardly any flavor.

Savannah Whetman

I would give zero stars if I could. Normally I am not someone to complain, but I feel this needs to be said to notify others. Bombay cafe here in cedar city is charging customers 18% gratuity for using the starving student card after you leave the restaurant. I did not agree to the price. I signed my receipt to the price I thought I was paying. When the charge came through my tip had been doubled. If I would have paid cash the 18% gratuity would not have been charged. I paid more for my meal than if I didn’t use the starving student card because usually only get water. Then I was charged double the tip that I originally left. When my husband called the owner, the owner was very rude. He said that it says it at the bottom of the receipt that it will be added, but no amount is seen on the receipt when I signed it. I don’t agree with this practice and will not be returning to Bombay. If you go there I would pay with cash to get the price you agree to. You never know what you might be charged. My dad was over charged twice and had to dispute it and my sister had four dollars added to her bill.

David Johnson

I have been coming here for several years and it has always been one of the best Indian dining experiences I have had! The food always tastes fresh and is prepared with care. It tastes like a really good home cooked meal.
