As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is quite positive, and it's founded on a large number of reviews, so we can be pretty sure that the assessment is quite credible. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to set opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Indian restaurant.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I know some people get nervous about trying foreign food, but just give it a shot. Order some chicken curry, medium spicy if you don't like really hot food, or anything else that interests you. It's just like a normal restaurant inside, not like something from some Ben Stiller movie or whatever. They play Indian pop music videos on the tv that are fun to watch. We took some of our managers there today and they were nervous, but they really liked it and left happy.
Fine cusine from India best in Ogden! Cannot find better Indian food or ambiance for fifty miles. The buffet rocks the Curry spectrum. . . Delicious. . .ness
Very good food. Great service. I recommend their mango lassie (Idk if that how you spell it but it's kinda how you pronounce it) its a mango yogurt drink.
We usually go alone and eat the buffet while there is also a menu available. For my husband's birthday, our party had 12 people and the manager was able to accommodate our group. The group ate buffet. Some of our folks didn't think they would like Indian cuisine and we're pleasantly surprised and going back for 2nds & 3rds. The Mango Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and many other dishes were fabulous. My only complaint is the dessert bowl isn't large enough for the Kheer!! (home-made rice pudding).
Great Indian food. Buffet available for lunch or dinner. Dark interior but brightened by authentic background music.
The food has really gotten better lately, service is always good too.
The atmosphere was great, the food quite good and the staff like family. We will definitely be back.
I've had my ups and downs with this place. I'm not sure if ownership changed, or the chef, but it went from having phenomenal butter chicken (my favorite) to the worst I'd had. The whole recipe was different, and after being disappointed twice, I stopped coming. Well, my boyfriend and I came back recently to try it again, and the food was excellent, and the recipe was more like the first few times I had it here. I'm giving them a high rating again, and hope they maintain their current standards. The chicken curry and chicken tikka are also excellent, as are their cheese and garlic naans.
Bad customer service. DO NOT BUY THE GROUPON FOR BOMBAY BITES. They refused to take my groupon. I am not the only one that has had this issue with them.
Amazing and authentic Indian food! If you want to try a sampling of a little bit of everything go on Friday and Saturday where they have a buffet. They make everything fresh and I have yet to have anything that I don't absolutely love!
Thumbs up every time! We are always happy to eat here. We get a few favorites every time we come, like the mango chicken, which our kids also love. We also try something new every time. Everything has been pretty good so far! I also really like the buffet option on Friday and Saturday, if you're really hungry it's the way to go!
The food is amazing, and the service is fast. Nice little family owned business.
Decent place, the food is pretty good. Best Indian cuzine in the local area
This is my go to Indian restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is great. I love coming for the lunch buffet!
HORRIBLE customer service. Will not be returning to this establishment. Which is unfortunate for them as we used to go there atleast once a month and would tip them anywhere from 25-30%. When you aren't willing to fix a mistake for a loyal customer you lose that loyal customer.
Good Quality and Tasty Food, Great Service, and Pleasant Atmosphere.
Good meal. I had the lunch buffet and it was delicious.
One of our favorite Indian places to go to. Great prices and great food! The service is always fast and friendly. Our favorite is the butter chicken and garlic naan, we also love the Tikka masala and mango Curry, we've never gotten anything we didn't like. It's in a strip mall and doesn't look like much on the outside but they have some a good job turning what used to be a fast food place into a nice restaurant with good ambiance. Make sure you get some candy from a small bowl as you leave, it is so good!
I had the tandoori chicken. It was bone-in chicken. Good portion but I'd personally prefer boneless. The flavor was fantastic and I love the bell peppers and onions in that yummy sauce. Not everyone was as delighted. The service was pretty awful. About 30-40 minutes to even take our order. Someone asked for chilies but the server never came back at all to even remind him. Luckily I enjoyed the company and we weren't in a huge hurry.
Their naan is wonderful. This was our first visit and we tried the buffet. We loved the variety and the flavors we're fantastic. We will return soon.
We live in Las Vegas, and have family in Utah. Every time we come up, we stop to eat here. The Butter Chicken is a favorite, the Sag Paneer is an awesome meal without meat, and the vegetable Pakora are super tasty! You won't regret anything you get here.
The food here has been good. I love the chicken Tikka masala. But the service hasn't been great, the owner doesn't want to hire servers. But today we walked into an empty restaurant that was filthy. The owner sat us at a dirty table, we walked around the restaurant looking for a clean one but couldn't find it... we left and are done giving this place second chances.
A year ago we were living in Idaho and when we made a visit to Ogden we would make a point to come here. Since then I feel that they have switched Chefs and you can tell that the food is not quite the same. However the food is still ok and they have some mediocre dishes. We love going for their lunch buffet and they let our kids under 4 eat for free. Update: Food was a lot better this last time.
Everything is good here. We try something different every time, and have never been disappointed.
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered take out it was ready when I showed up I had some complications with the group on a purchased but it worked itself out as they were very accommodating. The spicy food I ordered wasn't quite as spicy as I had hoped or anticipated either way it was really delicious I ordered the chicken tikka marsala the coconut shrimp and the chicken I can't remember what the third one was lol. The atmosphere was casual and inviting very ambient and Serene. Being a Saturday it was pretty difficult to get here because of the traffic on Riverdale Road but definitely worth the wait on driving
This place has excellent food. The price is nice as well.
The food here is delicious, especially the chicken coconut koorma. The service is not so great. We sat for half an hour before they even brought us a menu.
Amazing food! Buffet was fresh and plentiful. We will definitely be going back!
The food was hot when delivered, and it was really good.
I had lunch here about 3 weeks ago, Food was absolutely amazing, and it wasn't terribly expensive at all! The only thing that bothered me is it was way too warm the day I went. It was a hot day, though.
Great, friendly people. Slightly above average food. We like the lunch buffet.
Food at Bombay bites is yummy. The servers are very polite and welcoming. I enjoyed all the foods I have tried. Chicken curry has been my favorite.
Great lunch buffet!
Buffet is good. If you have never tried Indian, go try their buffet and give a couple of the food items a chance. You will love the different flavors.
Delicious food. Quiet and cozy. Inexpensive alcoholic beverages
Very tasty but just a little pricey
My family loves this place. The folks are friendly, the food is awesome and ambience is inviting. Usually its a bit quite and works well for family or adult night out. You can order the food to fit your spicy tolerance level as well.
Good Food. Different texture and tastethan what I am used to, but the food was good and the buffet was priced very reasonably.
Amazing! I love going for the buffet because you get to taste many dishes. Bombay Bites is my 'go-to' place when I am craving Indian cuisine.
I had lunch there with my friends Brian, Mike. The food was delicious. It was hands-down the best Indian food I've ever had. Our server Apri was awesome! She was quick to get us seated and took care of us the entire meal. We will definitely be back again.
Buffet was excellent, owners friendly and helpful explaining the food for us novice Indian foodies.
Tasty Indian food. Tried their buffet which offers all-you-can-eat naan, masala and curry options. The atmosphere is a little dark for my taste, but the food was great.
A shadow of its former self.
Amazing! First time here and the service was excellent and so was the food. Loved everything about this restaurant. Definitely will be a regular here!
The dinner buffet lacked variety, but all the food had excellent flavor. We also sampled some items from the menu, some of which were bland and lacking in salt. Service was excellent though, and we had an overall pleasent dining experience.
It was rather good. It is right dwn from my brother's condo so it is easy to get there. I liked the atmosphere it was nice and clean.
This place is amazing. Everything on the buffet was delicious (my favorite is the mango chicken!). My toddler had an epic meltdown just as we sat down for our first plate, and the staff was truly the best. After being offered lollipops and a special cup, he still wasn't quiet so I had to leave with him. My husband asked the waitress how much it would cost to fill a to-go box for me, and she let him STUFF one, packed me like 6 pieces of naan in foil herself, and only charged us the regular buffet rate. Other relevant info: our drinks came out quickly and the place was very clean. Pricing is super reasonable at about 10 dollars per person at the buffet.
Awesome place.
It was edible. The saag was fairly bland, ordered medium heat and there wasn't even a hint of spice. Date ordered a higher level of spice for his and it literally only taste like sriracha. Asked for tea, got lemonade. Sitra is cheaper, much better tasting, and much larger portions. Both date and I ended up sick the next day for a bonus. Not returning.
Amazing food and great service! I will definitely eat here again!
Good food, decent price. My sister had a pretty complex request that the waiter kept getting wrong, but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as it bothers me that she made such a complex request and didn't explain it very clearly
Chicken coconut korma was really really good. The nan was fresh and very good as well. The place could use some finishing touches and paying the bill was a bit of a weird situation but I'll be going back.
Best Indian food around!!!!
Wonderful, delicious.. I was not really a curry fan. But everything was amazing, you should try this place. Reasonable prices as well. Plus they doordash ...
This place is delicious. The food is really great, much better than other Indian restaurants in the area. I'd say you'd have to drive to Salt Lake to get anything better. The buffet is always tasty, service is quick, and the environment is very laid back and comfortable. Most definitely a go-to Indian restaurant if you're looking for one.
Interesting layout, and dinner buffet offering. The food was good though, and slightly different than other restaurants in the area. Worth a try if you like this kind of food.
The food here is amazing! Good place for vegetarians. Pricing is on point.
I absolutely adore and frequent this restaurant. This is the best Idian food I have ever had and I use to live in the Silicon Valley where there's so many! They have an impressive selection of naan and main dishes. I recommend the onion basil naan and the chicken saag which are my two usuals from the menu.
Good staff good food
Very good Indian food.
Great little buffet
The food here is very good, we often do takeout and they are very quick to get it ready, our orders are always perfect.
Wonderful buffet. Would have loved to see a chicken curry and not just a fish curry, but everything was very tasty. We will definitely be going back again.
I’ve travelled to India several times and have eaten Indian all over the US, including New York and California, and the flavors here are equal to the very best. My favorites are their fish curry and yellow dal. It’s clean and the ambience is relaxing and pleasant. The owners are very kind and when I’m here for the buffet and there’s no dal in the buffet that day, they are so sweet and thoughtful and bring me a dish of yellow dal to my table because they’ve seen it’s one of my favorites. I would highly recommend!
Rude customer service
Love the chicken tikki masala, naan is a must!
If you don't know how Indian food taste, it might be ok for you, but if you know how Indian food taste, you will know it's just a few people who just mix some spices to get something out of it. It's the worst Indian restaurant I've ever tried in Utah, especially I am really familiar with Indian and Middle Eastern food.
This is the first negative review I have ever left. I came here with my mom and my teenage son. My mom ordered a mild dish and my son ordered extra spicy, as spicy as you can make it. I'm his mother, if he couldn't handle the heat I would have said so. I even shook my head yes to the server when she questioned the extra spicy. When the dishes came out my mom's was mild and tasted good. My son's was about as spicy as catsup. Not exaggerating. I complained to the waitress about it and she offered a bottle of hot sauce for the meal that was about done. As we were checking out I was told that the cook looked at my son and didn't think he could handle spicy. I will definitely not be returning.
Great Indian food loved the spicy index options!
Pretty good lunch buffet for around $10. Super delicious Indian food.
Possibly a good idea for an take out only if you have good packing skills.
We did the lunch buffet and everything was delicious! Favorites were chicken tikka masala and veggie korma. Can't wait to come back.
Some of the best Indian food I have had! The coconut karma is absolutely divine.. and DO NOT get cheese naan it's so addictive it should be illegal. And the prices are extremely good compared to the quality of food ... quaint little joint that will provide foodgasim again and again ...
Best indian food!!
The food and service is great. My only concern was that I bought a Groupon which would have taken 18 of the table. Groupon was down and they told me they would be able to honor it. Well the guy took 6.25 off? I asked him why that was and he said it takes off what I paid Groupon? No we paid 11? We will be back just that was strange.
Great in comparison to other Indian joints, but lacking in true service. Food takes a bit to come out, but well worth it. Their buffet is the best deal for a weekend night.
We ordered the chicken coconut korma and it was really good. The garlic naan was also delicious. However, we ordered the tandoori mixed grill and it was NOT what we expected. Somehow we had shrimp in the grill which was not in the description. I ordered it mild and it definitely was not mild. The chicken was extremely overcooked and $16.99 is way too pricey for what little they gave us. I'd eat here again, but be careful of what you see in the pictures and what you actually get. This is the mixed grill. It was all swimming in the same sauce and just unappealing to the eye and made way too spicy.
Amazing food at great prices! They have fantastic service! Definitely recommended!
Great place for lunch. They have a wonderful buffet and the food has been excellent each of the 6 times that I have eaten there. The buffet usually consists of gravies, tandoori chicken and rice. Last time I was there, I took the whole family (includes 3 little kids) and they were nice enough to only charge us for 1 buffet for all 3 kids. Great food, great service. Will definitely eat there again. This place is one of my top 2 Indian restaurants north of Salt Lake and by far the best value.
Best Indian food I've had in my 2 years living in Utah. I got the lamb coconut korma and my boyfriend got chicken tikka masala and both tasted amazing. Good portion size, too. The young kid that served us was very attentive and positive. Loved it.
Great food. If you're new to Indian food try the buffet so you can try a little bit of everything and figure out what you like.
Never had Indian before, but this place was great and had reasonable prices. Very authentic
This is one of my favorite places to eat at the prices are good for the amount you get. Love the buffet.
The food was actually really good. Naan was crispy and my curry had nice flavor. However they were not staffed for the holiday season and service was slow and lacking. Our waitress was also quite inexperienced and was not ready to be so busy. All in all it was OK.
I am an avid Indian food lover and the food here is quite good, if they do get your order right. If you are ordering out, I would recommend you check the order to make sure it is all there. I have had a few occasions where I had a rice or naan left out. I can say that anything curry here is very good including the saag paneer (a cheese and spinach dish) and the chicken curry. I only ate in store once and I just don't like the atmosphere. The customer service is not what Americans would expect and service is slow. But the food is good so I order takeout mostly. Gave 3 stars due to the food and rice being top notch.
They have good food. But they claim to participate with Uber Eats; however, they will not accept orders when they ate placed. If you dont want orders thru Uber Eats just dont advertise that you will. Remove yourself from the app.
Excellent, legit Indian food. Probably some of the best I've had.
Never had Indian food before I tried here! Everything was affordable and tasty. Don't let the $7 price tag on the Indian beer fool you, you get an entire PINT at that price.
Worst Indian restaurant in Ogden city , nasty baryani chicken, tastes disgusting, the food is not the taste of Indiana food I’ve tried a lot of Indiana food and that was the worst.
My husband and mines favorite restraunt in Ogden. Amazing quality food, great service and is never too crowded. Very authentic and I love the music videos the play while we eat!
Nice quiet atmosphere and the food is really good.
Good meal not over salted like in many Indian food restaurant
I went to lunch here with some coworkers about a week ago and it was amazing! Apri was our waitress and she was awesome!!! Super friendly and fast service. I will be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you Bombay Bites!
Delicious, service was great!
Good Indian food. The buffet is definitely the best value.
Food quality is ok, no variety in buffet. Owner is too arrogant and doesn't care about its own customers. Doesn't know how to greet it's customers or provide service.
Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices, pleasant environment.
Quality and quantity at a great price.
Great food, reasonable price.
Best authentic Indian Food you'll ever taste!!! This place has the best service and a calming atmosphere where you'll feel right at home.
Great food and they have buffet style. They serve a few staples but often switch the buffet menu. They have a la cart as well if you only want a certain thing.
This was the first time I ordered off the menu rather than having the buffet. Very good.
I have been coming here for years. The service is always great. Tandoori mixed grill and any curry is phoneminal. Try some papadum, and enjoy the cheese naan. You will regret nothing. They also have the Bollywood music videos going and they are fun to watch.
Great food, quiet, pleasant atmosphere we'll be back!
Bombay Bites is our favorite Indian restaurant! Their buffet is amazing!
AWESOME atmosphere and food!
Good prices. Compared to the many Indian food restaurants we have been to, this is one of the best! Friendly staff.
$12 buffet. Food had decent flavor, but the tandoori chicken was dry, which by what I've read online, it should be very juicy. Girlfriend refused to eat; said it smelled and looked awful, and she's never done that in 8 months. I'm more adventurous... Happy I tried it; won't go back.
Cute little place. It felt like the a.c. was broken so it got very uncomfortable to stay and eat!
This place is amazing! I have a 5 year old son that is the pickiest eater ever but I can always count on Bombay Bites Chicken Tikka Masala. He will eat an entire adult portion! The food is always fresh and right to order. This is a family favorite wether we call ahead for take out or dine in. The staff is always friendly and quick to make sure we have everything we need. The facility is clean and gives you a glimpse into the Indian culture. I highly recommend this place!
Good food. Wish they had Naan on the buffet line instead of bringing you some to your table.....when you get the buffet.
Amazing food. I haven't ordered anything on the menu that wasn't absolutely delicious. Their food has a great blend of spices and is very flavorful.
Love this place! Have been going here for years now and crave it on a regular basis. Always great service and the food is amazing. It got me and my husband hooked on Indian food.
Me, my husband, and our little foodie daughter are repeat customers at Bombay Bites because of the delicious food and variety. The garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala are always good. One this I always appreciate is that they have cumin seed and cardamom in the rice, which is the propor way to prepare basmati/jeera tice. I also love their Kheer since it has cardamom as well. We ate brunch at Bombay Bites for Valentine's Day. Our food was delicious as usual, but this time the owners wife came up to us and gave our daughter a Twix candy bar for being such a good girl! Our daughter said "thank you" to this wonderful lady, and she enjoyed all of the food we fed her from the buffet as well! Her favorites where the kheer, the garlic naan, and the chicken tikka masala. Owners are very welcoming and treat you like family, and my husband also has delivered for them via Uber eats, which is another plus.
Food was delicious and warm when it came out. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were decent.
This place is awesome. Food is delicious.
Both the Garlic naan and the butter chicken were absolutely amazing. My husband wasn't very fond of his shrimp curry though. It is a little on the expensive side.
Oh my gosh...so freaking good..the staff is so polite..food is amazing. We opted for the buffet..and ordered appetizers. No need for appetizers.so much tasty food. 5 stars all the way.
It’s our favorite place for Indian food. Mataar paneer is divine!
This is our new favorite Indian place. Service and food were booth excellent!!! We're already planning our next visit.
Great Indian food at an affordable price
The food is always good. The service is usually decent sometimes they are slower than you would think they should be. We love the tiki masala
We would eat here every meal if we could! Love love the atmosphere, the service is so wonderful and kind, the quality of food is out standing every time!! Love all the food options-- something for everyone for sure.
Not bad restaurant
We have visited twice. The first time was really good, the second time even better. They were very helpful with menu questions and very friendly service. The food was top notch. Definitely one of our top three places we will visit.
This is the WORST Indian Restaurant I have ever been to. I only give it one star and it is not possible to give it anything lower. Indian food should be a creative mix of spices. This food was tasteless. Indian food should also have a selection of interesting chutneys. They had almost nothing. When I asked for a hot sauce, their choice wasn't even Indian, it was Mexican. Save your money. Buy a bottle of Patak sauce - it's better.
Delicious food with a great menu/lots of variety. Friendly service and good portion sizes and fair prices.
Don't be fooled by all the positive reviews! This place has changed management and gone downhill. I used to look forward to coming to Bombay Bites often. They had an awesome buffet and great deal on their site and Groupon for an additional discount. Unfortunately, they have changed management and all that has changed. The last time I went my husband and I ordered the buffet. The food was alright, not as good as I remembered it. I figured they were just having an off day. The breaking point for me what when I tried the Indian spiced yogurt dressing, it had completely gone bad! When I politely let the hostess know, she denied it and said it was yogurt-based and so it has a tart taste. So I suggested that she try it. She took one bite and her face completely changed. She quickly took it out. But rather than admit that it had gone bad, or apologize, she started making excuses and said it wasn't that bad. Her attitude scared me, it really made me wonder how long food sits in the buffet
This is our favorite Indian food spot in the Ogden area so far. Reasonably priced. Everything we have ordered off of the menu has been excellent, and their buffet is awesome on the weekends. The servers are really nice. The fried dessert balls (I forget what they are called) with rose syrup is delicious.
Just disappointing.
Best Indian food I've had since moving to Utah.
LOVE this place! My kids who are 7 and below ate their whole plates! This will be my go to Indian restaurant.
Absolutely amazing food! So delicious! And the price is good too!
My wife and I have been going here for years and it's fantastic! My wife is vegan and they have a full menu to accommodate. I my self am not vegan and love their murg makini (cream my tomato chicken). Only thing I get! Highly recommended this place!
Very good food. Great spice without overload (and I LOVE heat/spicy). Great service. Go out and enjoy something different in our own backyard.
Very unprofessional service The young guy who works at front desk is very unprofessional Useless attitude No proper dress code When he speaks the saliva from his mouth drops on me
New ownership and major improvements on the recipes! Everything is SO good!!
Always the best, love the veggie masala!
Delicious Indian food, the chicken coconut korma is divine!
Awful food. Went there for lunch. The rice was kinda crunchy. The flavors were just terrible tasting, I have no idea how this place stays open. There are much better Indian food options around. I literally want to barf right now. And I can’t tell if it’s the flavor of the food or straight up food poisoning.. guess I’ll find out shortly.
Family operation, nice folks, tomato soup and saag lamb were tasty, portions are more than adequate.
I've always loved the food here - I've been a long-time fan. On Valentine's Day, I even asked my date if we could go there, because I love it so much. I ordered a dish I have had many times at many different Indian restaurants. They brought it out and I managed to eat a couple of bites before I literally felt like Dante's Inferno was taking place inside my mouth - I had ordered it 'mild', by the way. My brother had requested his dish 'hot', and mine far outstripped his in heat. We mentioned this to our waiter, who treated us like the dumb Americans we apparently are, and said that the dish was mild and it was hotter than we were used to because there was no cream in it. No offer to do anything to fix it or bring us something else. Uhhhh no. That explanation so didn't fly, as I have had this dish SO many times. Not going back. I'll find other Indian restaurants to go to.
Yikes. This place is awful. Anyone who thinks the food here is any good isn't just having a difference in opinion.. you honestly don't know what good Indian food is. Awful flavoring, over salted. Blah! I'm beside myself really. Don't mistake this place for Bombay Grill. Bombay Grill is excellent food. This is Bombay Bites and it's terrible.
The butter chicken is delicious!
Very disappointing. My wife and I love Indian food and this was a bad experience. We came in 5:30 on Friday night. The food was barely warm and had little flavor. We chose to do the buffet to be able to try a little of everything. Unfortunately would recommend anyone to go elsewhere. Ogden had many better options in the area.
My wife and I love this place. It is cheaper than Taste of India and every bit as good. We like that it is never real busy when we come. This restaurant has no complaints from us!
Really good quality lunch buffet
The food was amazing and the service was great!
This is my favorite Indian restaurant. Nice service, amazing food and reasonable prices. Tons of veggie options! The decor is well-done.
It was ok. The food was good. The service was quick and friendly. Dinner was $29 for two.
The 5 is for the food. I had the chicken korma. It was awesome. The service is usually great. I think she was new.
The lamb coconut korma was amazing! Very happy with the food my husband brought home. We will be back often. Thank you.
The food was tasty, but a bit too salty. The curry was yummy though.
Great service, amazing food, granted some wait times but well worth it for the freshness of the food. The cheese naan is highly recommended by me and my husband.
Decided to give this place a try because it was in a convenient location close to home. The food isn't bad, it's just not good. I'd rather go out of my way and get Indian food elsewhere.
I've eaten here twice, tried 4 dishes total and haven't liked any of them. The food is not very well flavored and doesn't compare to true authentic Indian food. Also, the menu is pricey! Definitely not worth the $30 I spent on lunch. If you're in South Ogden and want good Indian food, try Sitara Indian instead. (36th & Harrison)
I love this place
