Beto's isn't the best place to eat in any way but it is cheap. It's more of a you get what you pay for so the quality of the food is never good and last time I was there there was a spider crawling around on a table and some moths flying around my head. As far as fast food goes they do usually have good service, as much as you can with Mexicans at least. I would recommend if you're in a hurry and you absolutely need Mexican food but if that's not the case then don't come here
Food and salsas are great. Waiting time is a little bit much, and the prices seem to be higher than in other locations. If you're willing to pay and extra $3 for a bean burrito this is the place to go.
Food tastes great. Hours are excellent (24 hours). Prices are fair. Staff is friendly. Pretty authentic when it comes to fast Mexican food.
Breaking every bad reputation of Beto's. This one is clean and friendly. The GM is a classically trained chef who has dozens of signature salsas that are worth the price of admission.
The food was really good the service was okay we had to reorder when they got our meal wrong but authentic Mexican cuisine is definitely present.
Come here all the time. Always great food! Good service!
Great food but for the price, maverick is becoming a good competitor.
The food was good, but the wait was ridiculous. I was the third car and it took me 30 min to get my food. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and when I got up to pay she repeatedly asked me if I had ordered chorizo. Not worth the wait and …
Beto's always delivers!! Best Carne Asada Burrito on this planet!!
Fast food Mexican: I was hesitant to go here- it has a reputation for greasy food. But the family wanted to go, so I relented. The food was great! There's several combination plates and a veggie burrito for my vegetarian sister in law. Lots of different kinds of salsa! I loved it!
food is decent pretty much the same as you would get at any other drive-thru Mexican food west of the Mississippi. The other thing that they share in common with all of those places is the inability to get an order right or to be apologetic when you have to drive around since they won't come back to the window where you are sitting there idling for a half an hour trying to get your order fix to what you had requested and paid for. Honestly I think just about anybody with a decent microwave and access to Sysco wholesale prices could make a killing out here selling Mexican food.
The food is phenomenal but the drive through is freaky slow.
This place is consistently good. They do use red sauce, and I'm more of a mild/green sauce fan. So be aware.
Showed up at 11:45 on a Wednesday night. No one came on the speaker in the drive thru so I pulled around front and tried going inside. The doors were locked and everyone working there just stood at the counter and starred at us outside. Their hours are posted online and on the doors that they are open until 1am and all the open signs were still on.
The service here is phenomenal! The salsa bar is also hard to beat. Everything tastes freshly made and you can tell that good quality ingredients are used. We love this location and go back time and time again!
Yummy eats at decent prices. Hard to beat this hole in the wall chain! The food is always good. My only complaint is this location is slow, and they've forgotten my sour cream (which is $1 added, btw) a few times.
Quick service, decent food.
Not every Betos has a good California burrito but this one does, great job.
I ordered the Asada taco combo plate. The tacos were delicious. The hot sauce is the perfect combination to my tacos. Their rice is the best, nice and flaky! And their beans were oh so creamy! Fresh corn tortillas. They also are fast and friendly.
Good Mexican food, they take to long to make your food.
This Beto’s location is a guaranteed stop when we are in Saratoga Springs. The restaurant is clean and the staff is great. The chorizo breakfast burrito is my husband’s favorite and I love the shrimp burrito.
I'm so done with this place! Everytime I come here the portions keep getting smaller. It's not like you're paying $3.00 for a bean and cheese burrito. Out the door it's almost $6.00 From now on I will travel out of my way to order my food somewhere else instead of ordering out of convenience! Look at the size of this burrito!
Carne Asada is marinated the night before..
I actually dig this place...and maybe I hit it once every six weeks. However, if the prices were closer to my regular eating habits, I would think they would have far more business. I love the California burrito, and my girlfriend digs three of of their beef tacos. How much does that end up being without beverages? Over $17. Now, here the thing...YES, we LOVE Beto's! But if they made an order like that, around $12…they'd get 2x-3x the business from us (and probably many) throughout the month. Great food...great RED SAUCE! BUT, if you want to compete with the rest of the options around us, you need to cut those prices JUUUST a bit. One last thing... If you could use some more premium-grade beef in the California, that would be a plus! I had 3-4 chewy gristle chunks in my burrito. Granted, it isn't ALWAYS like this...but sometimes it is. You're lucky when your get a soft (not dry) tortilla, no gristle chunks, and a great cheesey temperature!
I've always liked Beto's. This specific location is very clean, designed well, and has very professional and nice employees. The ultimate menu item for me has been the Mixed Breakfast Burrito; fresh flour tortilla, ham, eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheese. The thing is huge, and is my favorite food of all time. People will get the different salsas, and sauces which I really do like, but their pickled carrots are the best (escabeche). The only way I'll eat that burrito is ensuring they have those pickled carrots available, which they always do. Otherwise my family and friends have had other dishes of theirs, and I hear it's all good. Great Mexican food!
Been here multiple times and every time the food has been delicious and service has been quick.
You, like I , probably come back every now and then longing for the breakfast burrito of old. What used to be the holy Grail of breakfast foods. I recommended forgetting how much you used to love the breakfast burrito here. Now you get a tortilla full of potatoes, swimming in cheese, dusted with bacon. Eggs are scarce if you are lucky to see one. Just skip it. The breakfast burrito you remember has been gone for a while.
This one is the best. So much good food for so cheap!
Every time I order a burrito it has burnt parts in it. Staff is very rude. I have tried different times of day hoping to get better food.
Their food is delicious, I personally recommend the California Burrito. Their quality of service is excellent... They get their food out quickly.
I got the grilled chicken burrito and it was not good at all. My onions were literally burnt and there was no flavor to it. My husband got the carne asada fries burrito and his was decent. There was nothing wrong with it and he liked it but to me the meat was super chewy and just not that good. We also waited a good 10 minutes at the window for our food so maybe that's why I was so disappointed.
Pretty slow and they don't wrap their burritos very well but over all the food is pretty good!
if I could give them less than 1 star I would. I'm baffled that mine and my husband's orders are always wrong. we've given them multiple chances and every time, it's always wrong - it being the complete wrong order, missing stuff we ask for on there or even adding things that we didn't want. this is more than ridiculous. I have to repeat myself multiple times and they still don't understand and get it wrong. I wouldn't recommend this betos to anyone. if you want to go to betos, go to the one in American fork. way better service and they actually get your order right.
Great food for a great price.
3 Stars for food and service, but 1 star for their horrible change in guacamole (couple years back). Stuff looks like 90% sour cream with food coloring. Betos used to do better. Up your guac and I'll start coming back. 5 rolled with cheese and gauc used to be my favorite thing here, but no longer. They also gave me trouble/didn't understand their own coupon offer (Starving Student) 2 star overall.
Meat was kinda bland. Liked the salsa bar will most likely come again
Love Beto's. They always get really good food out in a very timely manner. Staff is always friendly and greets you. I usually get the nachos or one of the burritos. Try the Cheryl's they're always great to. The drive-up can be a little slow. So I usually go in. Plus going in you get to access the salsa bar I love all the different sauces. Always a classic.
I ordered the big nachos with steak and it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be back. the missing Star is because I went through the drive-thru and the line was absolutely insane and so slow there were two cars in front of me that actually backed out of it because it took so long. Also there drive-thru menu says Pepsi products sold here but when I asked for a Pepsi they said they only serve Coke
Not as good as it used to be, the onions and vegetables were not diced at all, the shell on taco and chummy chunga were over fried and the salsa was still half frozen in the container. We used to eat here all the time. Suggest check your order before you leave building.
This is for the Betos food truck, which I couldn't find to review. I have been to multiple Betos locations over the years and would typically rate my visits there 4 or 5 stars. This was at Neptune Park in Saratoga Springs. At the food truck, I ordered something that I hadn't tried before, so to be fair, my low rating could be more about my specific order than their general offerings. I ordered the steak and egg breakfast burrito and they offered to add guacamole for free. Whatever it was, it wasn't guacamole. It was very light green (almost closer to white) and runny. It was like an avocado flavored dressing. Not good. The burrito was a good size, but not much steak to speak of. To be honest, if my review was just about the burrito, it would be 1 star. It just wasn't good, which was disappointing since I typically enjoy Betos. I give it two stars because the workers were very nice and helpful, and I have had great experiences with the franchise in the past.
Great food. Good service.
I love this place! The food is great and I think this particular stores food tastes better than other ones I've been to. The reason for the 3 stars is they aren't very good if you make changes to the food. Multiple times I've order extra sauce and didn't get it, got charged for it but didn't get it. Or I've asked them to not put something on the food and when I get it they have put it there anyway. I keep going back because the food does taste good and usually it's just a matter of picking/scooping something off or adding something from home to it but it would be nice if I was sure when I ordered extra or none of something that my order was going to be 100% correct.
This is a great place to go to before or after you hit up Saratoga Hot Springs. They’re open late and have awesome options for sauces.
Quick and filling, many tasty options on the menu. Sit down and eat a quick meal or take it to go.
Every single time I go they make my meal very sloppy. I get 5 rolled tacos. And a drink. It looks like they just threw in the rolled tacos so they are scattered Nd the guacamole is only on one or two tacos. Same with the shredded cheese. It’s like they grab a handful and put it off o the side off of the tacos... so I have random globs of things when they are suppose to be evenly spread on the tacos. Also they mess my drink up almost every time giving me the wrong drink. I get home disappointed every time. All other betos have never done this except this one. :(
Just saw a lady lick her fingers and continue making the food. Also picked a long hair off my fiancé food. Will never eat here again very unsanitary.
Best burritos around but at least half the time I find little bits of egg shells in the breakfast burritos. 5 stars if it weren't for how often I find those shells.
My wife and I just sat in the restaurant waiting for our food for 30 minutes. It wasn't busy. The cooks sat in the back goofing off the whole time, got our order wrong, and goofed off some more. Only cared about closing early. Just …
