Real authentic Mexican cuisine at an affordable price. My personal favorite is the carne asada fries burrito. You may have to wait a bit sometimes, but it's definitely worth it. The staff are always friendly, smiling, and up-beat. One of my favorite places to eat in Cedar City.

Charged me for my order, I paid, then all of a sudden they needed to charge me a second time. Gave the wrong order and food was stale. The children inside were too busy laughing at themselves to obviously give the correct order. After a 13 hour drive they can keep the $35 and hopefully the customer who got my order enjoyed this awful food.

Here's a hint if you want great service here at Alfredo's: be Hispanic. Sounds racist, right? Well, that's exactly what happened to us this weekend. I was standing in line with my kids, trying to get them a quick bite to eat before they had to be back at a play rehearsal. There were two counter workers on duty, and instead of opening another register, the younger worker bypassed my kids and me and approached the group of young Hispanic men BEHIND us in line to take their orders. She flirted with them the whole time in Spanish, so it was pretty obvious why she was ignoring us completely. Bottom line, the Hispanic guys BEHIND us in line got their order taken first, and they got their food 10-15 minutes before we did. My kids ended up with about 6 minutes to scarf their food before they had to be back to school. When I brought this to the attention of the counter worker, she said, "I thought you were with the people in front of you." Sure you did. Did you bother to ask? Nope, you just got your pad and went over to flirt with the Spanish speakers. If you're Caucasian and want to be treated well, skip this place and go to Tacos el Jefe or Valerie's in Cedar City. Those places treat ALL of their customers like ... you know ... customers.

Extensive selection, helpful service, delicious food. If you are overwhelmed by all the options, I recommend starting with a bean and cheese burrito--a simple staple done really well with quality homemade beans, a delicious tortilla, and plenty of cheese. We also enjoyed trying several types of tacos, and perusing the salsa bar.

Great place to go for late night Carne asada fries. I have also started asking for the Super Nachoes with half fries and half chips, best thing I've done in a long time. The also have fresh limes, jalapeño carrots, and fresh sauces for your meal there or meal to go. It's a really nice place for food when all else is closed.

Alfredo's is one of the better mexican places! They have great asada and taquitos! They take a little longer than Valerie's (their top competitor in town). Their prices are very good! I have enjoyed their Carne Asada burritos and chicken taquitos and all of the tortas are pretty good and have an authentic taste. The churros are okay but Valerie's are better.

Mixed breakfast burritos are the best around! So good I got one on the trip North and back again in the way South - two mornings in a row! I love Mexican breakfast burritos and this was kind! Don't take my word for it, though. Stop in and ask for the mixed burrito. You won't regret it!

I really like the bean chimichanga and they make the best one in town here I think. The service is adaquite and they are open 24/7 which is nice. It can be expensive if you are feeding a lot of people, but the food is good.

Great food, terrible service. Visited this place multiple times in the middle of the night and nobody comes to take my order when they are supposed to be open 24 hours. Also, half the people who work here don't speak English. If the service was better this would be 5 star for sure but in my opinion the service is more than half of what matters.

Amazing! Food is EXACTLY the same as a place I grew up with in San Diego called Alberto's. I know you were once one and had to change your name, but no matter. Love to see such an authentic So. Cal style taco shop in Utah!! Stick with it and you'll take over in no time!!

For drive-thru Mexican food, it's pretty good. It is pretty inconsistent. They often use dark meat for their chicken, which doesn't bother me. They do have good horchata, and their portion sizes are good.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Walk up counter, looks like it used to be a Del Taco or something. It's immaculately clean inside. Their salsa bar was very fresh with cucumber slices, radishes, fried jalapenos and an assortment of salsas, including my favorite, Salsa Azteca! Chips were made fresh upon order, my taco was delicious and the breakfast burritos, amazing. Totally worth a stop. TRUCKERS! It's worth the mile walk from the truck stop! Get that exercise then fatten up on the yummy, fresh food! Also--upon reading further down, there are a few racist comments on here. Don't fall for that. I'm as white as white can be and they were super nice to us. Also? If you feel you aren't being treated well? Speak up. Passive aggressiveness gets you nowhere.

Alfred's is the only restaurant I've found in Cedar City that has good Mexican food. The servers are always friendly, the place is clean, drive-thru is open 24 hours and prices are fair. It's hard to understand why the other places that serve Mexican food don't even come close, but IMO, they don't.

I was very impressed with this place. I love the Carne Asada Fries burrito from other joints where I'd go when I lived in SLC. When I got here to Cedar City and found out that they had one of these burritos I had to try it. What I got was unexpected. In SLC, they give you a simple burrito, something you could eat by hand. This place gives you a behemoth! They LOAD this burrito up for you! As someone that likes my food I was very happy with what I got. I do admit, one of the things I enjoyed about the SLC places was that they were handheld. I could grab one while I'm on a lunch break, and eat it in my car while heading back to work. The size of the burrito here is so gigantic that I wouldn't be able to do that with any sort of ease. I admit, I'm not very good with a fork and knife while driving a car. Even with that little negative, their other items have continued to impress me, like their quesadillas, and other burritos. Even with the little downer of the size (which isn't much of a downer at all except for wanting to eat it while I drive) this place deserves my 5 stars! I look forward to continue eating food off of their menu and finding out exactly what is the best item they have.

Typical Mexican fast food joint, but our favorite out of the three in town! Typically cheaper, more food, better quality, and/or better service than Valerie's or Tacos El Jefe. The drive through is nice, authentic dishes are good, the breakfast burritos are huge and a favorite, and they have good jamaica.

Don't let the outside fool you. The food is competitively priced and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. If you like burritos, you're in for a treat with their homemade flour tortillas. If you're adventurous they have cabeza and lengua tacos.
