REVIEWS OF TAZ Indian Cuisine IN Texas

Luke Watson

Great place, great food, great service. It has a very nice vibe with prices that, while aren't cheap, won't break the bank.

Jonathan Hall

Authentic Indian food. Very friendly service. A bit spicy for normal folks but perfect for me; it's all very flavorful. The buffet quality is not quite as good as their dinners but is still excellent. Certainly the best Indian place in 50 miles!

Zoë Dark-Fox

The food here is delicious! I've been during the lunch buffet and the dinner.

Don Gilman

Always enjoy eating lunch there, usually to an excess! I find the food really tasty and varied. Some colleagues from SE Asia say the food isnt authentic but tailored to US tastes. Ok. I still enjoy it immensely! I intend to try their menu based dinner soon.

Sunay

I am told College Station had to wait for a while to get an Indian restaurant, and this one does it proud. The buffet is actually pretty tasty and while some dishes taste the same, for the most part, the food is flavorful and well cooked. Some gems show up on the weekend buffet which are quite good. The dinner menu is pretty nice and I have been quite impressed with their rice dishes, not surprising, given that the owners come from the south of India. Delicious stuff!

Allison Pullin

I eat here probably 2-3 times a month. Sometimes they get really busy and you may have to wait but, it's usually worth it. The lunch buffet is my favorite. The staff are so nice! LOVE DINING HERE! Their vegan and vegetarian options are delicious!

shivam rana

Aunthithc Indian food

Moises Ortiz

Authentic! Awesome lunch buffet.

Barbara Svatek

I love their homemade Indian food! It’s wonderful and a favorite choice when eating out!!!

Brian Holt

This place has been a long time favorite of my family's since going to school at A&M. Food is always good and the owners are friendly.

R Daniel Peterman

Cozy little indian food restaurant run by family. Great food and service in a small family business atmosphere.

Adam Green

Large parking area, great food, very authentic. Me and my wife eat here at least once a month and everything we have tried is fantastic.

Parul Priya

Go here for South Indian and non vegetarian options. Their paneer curries are not flavorful at all. Definitely try the dosa and malai kofta. They know how to do these well. Also you can try going to Houston if you are really craving Indian food.

Tristen Kishino

Very friendly staff, super delicious food

The Asventure Family

The staff is friendly and the food is amazing! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the sampler platter. The flavors were robust and amazing! I would deffinatly recommend the sampler platter (I can't remember the exact name) for anyone trying Indian food for the first time. It has 5 different curries/ sauces, so you can try some very different flavors. This was a very nice resturaunt, and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Harish K

Some told me that they don’t like TAZ, but I like TAZ. It’s not wrong to Americanize Indian food if you are on their land.

Chase Beck

If you come for the lunch buffet you can try everything to figure out what you like and don’t like. They label it all so you can order it the next time you come in.

Karlene Fraire

Love gulabjamun but they always serve it cold ! It taste nasty when cold!

Ashu

Absolutely the worst place to eat Indian food. For the prices they charge, you expect better quality food . Anybody trying to cook Indian food the first time can do a better job than them. The only reason they are in business is beacuse they are the only Indian restaurant in College station. If you are looking for authentic Indian dishes, avoid this place, an absolute rip-off.

Taylor Marvin

Amazing food. Owner and wait staff are great.

Liz M

One of the best restaurants in BCS. Make it to their mid day buffet for the best experience.

Matt Young

I'm sorry to say that Taz is only good because it's the only game in town. Flat out they are overpriced! Let's talk about what's great now, the Somosa's are the best I've ever had, the chutneys and rita are great, the naan is very good. Most of the sauces are savory and delicious, if not very authentic. But the meat quality and quantity, especially in chicken dishes, is severely lacking. Overall the main courses are not traditional. The rice is ok, the coconut sauce is their best, it goes great with Shrimp. It may seem like I'm being harsh, and perhaps I am. But since they are the only Indian in BCS, I feel like they deserve to be compared to other Indian restaurants, not to the rest of the restaurants in College Station. Ask any Indian exchange student, they will concur with the assessment. I want to make it clear the food nots bad, much of it is good, it just seems they are far too expensive for quality and portions because they can be, no competition to push them to be better.

Pink Frogs

Great authenic Indian. Vegetarian friendly, delicious, lunch buffet, constantly filled waters. Will go back again!!

Varun R Pallikala

I ordered paneer tikka masala with extra spice but there is no basic spiciness to the curry and salt is missing in it. Too much salt in dal and Samosas are tasteless. Even mushroom masala is Blant. Sweet lassi is sour. The gulab jamun I ordered it too old. The sugar solution in it has dried up and smelled bad. The food colour they added took me 2 hours to remove from my hand. I expected so much from this resturant as I was missing Indian food, but this restaurant failed my expectations and I dont know how this restaurant got clearance from local food and health authorities. The wonder how the owners are entertaining such a poor chef in this restuarant. I wish I could give a half star. But 1 star is the least option I got to select.

Jason Asbury

This was amazing Indian food! I recommend the first timers platter for anyone wanting to try multiple flavors. Clean resturaunt and friendly staff. We will definatly be back!

Toby Blevins

Uber eats driver. Both times I have picked up the order was ready and sealed properly. Thanks!

Stephanie Carroll

We have tried Indian food restaurants all over in Houston. Its always hit or miss. We are so glad we found Taz here in bcs. The food is so delicious! Authentic with great quality. The prices are good and competitive for that kind of quality. This is our new Favorite Indian restaurant in the Houston and surrounding areas. We will be back for sure. Everything was delicious !

abishai dominic

The food and the ingredients are not fresh most days. There is no quality control in this place.

Vikram Kinra

Excellent food. Lunch buffet is a great value. Family owned. Great service with a smile. Wide variety of dishes. Dollar for dollar the best restaurant in town.

Taylor Phillips-Rodriguez

There is no better Indian food in the BCS area other than TAZ! The restaurant itself is so cozy and feels like home. The staff are so friendly and really make you feel like you belong there. One of the best local eateries around!

Liz Boyd

This is my favorite restaurant! Friendly staff gets your drinks while you hit the delicious, flavorful buffet. It gets quite crowded during lunch, but that's because the food is so wonderful and the naan bread is hot!

Tommy Nguyen

Decent Indian food at decent prices. Didn't try the buffet because we went at dinnertime, but I hear it's also really good with a good variety to try.

Adarsh GUPTA

Bought Biriyani here, tasted like it wasn't freshly made. I packed the rest and left in my fridge, and tried it heat n eat it for dinner but found it slimy and spoiled. Sorry, if biriyani was freshly made, it wouldn't spoil for a couple of days!

Rick Enbacker

A real favorite; great balance of dishes on the buffet for my vegetarian wife and my more carnivorous preferences.

Mila

Ambience was great. Food not so much. I was crazy craving south indian food and everything was so watered down. Currys weren't too good either. Did love the chutneys though.

Shaik Afzal

Good Indian food. Perhaps the only Indian restaurant in BCS area. Buffet is the best value for money. But ends at 3 pm so make sure you have enough time. I asked them and they said their meat is Halal and they get it from Houston. Overall good place.

Amanda Owens

I love all the wonderful dishes they offered on their buffet! I only wish the buffet was bigger and they had offered more things! I definitely recommend this place.

Jo Woodman

Extremely tasty and excellent service. Do not be afraid to ask for extra sauce or bread, staff is accommodating and friendly.

Airbender

This was my first time trying Indian food and it was good! They have a "first timers" plate that has a few samples. Hello vegetable curry! So tasty! The staff was friendly (lots of smiles) and helpful since I was clueless. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because it was bit too pricey and the staff spoke so quietly that I had to ask them to repeat serval times.

Ranjit Singh

The food is good tastes like am in india

Abhishake Dixit

Food is not good, most dished tasted old, buffet is not worth 14$

Geetika Kasula

Not the best experience with food and staff! Staff have a racist attitude towards indians vs americans. We went for lunch while there was buffet and asked if we could get an a la carte menu. They said they didnt offer a la carte during lunch and offered menus to the next white people that walked in. When confronted about this to the manager, he wouldn't accept the fault.

nelson gonzalez Rendon

Always good.

Dawn McMinn

Really good food.

Joseph Woodward

Excellent quality as always. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Excellent menu selection and has a great lunch buffet. A little pricey but you get all the bang for your buck.

Lewis Watson

The add Indian spices in exact ratio as the food taste out of this world. loved this place and the food they offer

Stuart Page

The food was delicious. The hosts are delightful. The drinks are inexpensive. It's the real deal!

Michael Sloan

My first visit to Taz tonight. I'm not an expert of Indian cuisine but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Butter chicken, lamb biryani, Bhindi masala, and vegetable somosa. Oh and a truck load of garlic naan! I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes

Carol O'Meara

Thank you for a great lamb vindaloo! Nice and spicy just the way I love it. See you tomorrow!

Christy lea

Absolutely love eating here - food is delicious.

kurroth

TAZ can fulfill your craving for Indian food. It is the only Indian cuisine restaurant in College Station and there are decent number of items in the menu. It is the only Indian restaurant to have survived this long in College Station and that is a great achievement. But the taste may not appeal to those used to Indian delicacies. Best for those who wish try Indian food and the prices are reasonable as well. Staff members are polite and friendly. I would have it rated higher if I had not been Indian.

Nicole Regalia

I love this place. The samosas are heaven!

Shilpi Nema

It serves food catered to the American taste. For me, it did not taste Indian at all.

John McDaniel

I'm here once a week. The best service in bcs.

Tonya B

Food is good. People are nice. Kinda pricey

Dona Aguilar

I love tazs. There's nothing I've tried that's hasn't been delicious.

Dinesh Shrestha

Went there for a buffet. This place is great. Food is awesome and taste real Indian cuisine. The customer service is great. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The restrooms are okay. Little bit pricy but it’s okay for the great food and the varieties of food they offer. Overall, great place to stop by for buffet.

Leanne Huq

This is probably the best restaraunt in town! The two best dishes here in my opinion are the lamb byriani (spicy

Aram Davtyan

I used to like this place a lot, but recently I find food hear tasteless. Not sure if they are decided to save in spices or if anything else changed, but I started to like my two most favorite dishes here, tandoori chicken tikka masala less and less every time. Plus, in my opinion, this place is on expensive side, which makes it not worth it.

Mauricio Olivares

Best Indian cuisine I have ever had !

Matthew Sherman

I love the butter chicken. Everything else is good too.

Stoney Jenkins

Good food.. I just didn’t know what the hell I was eating.

Kerry Osterhom

Better than I expected

Suril Soni

I am from India and I have tried Indian restaurants in many different cities. I have to say the only place where I liked the taste of the food is this place. I do not usually write reviews unless it is really bad or really good and this is really good. The service is good but this is the place where you will get the authentic food taste. Prices are decent.

emily drennan

Absolutely delicious. I got the first timer special and it was perfect. Can't wait to go back. Felt like food made by a loving Indian grandma. Serious comfort food.

Lydia Abedeen

Had their lunch buffet. A bit pricy, but very worth it! Kind staff and good food--would go again!

Raymond.Gamara Adolph

First time eating Indian food. It was very good, Friendly staff.

Josh Tamez

Our first time there. We didn't know what to order exactly but the waiter was most helpful. I enjoyed our new food experience there. Will be back to try more

Cattra C

Authentic and good. I wish they had my favorite spinach dish, but everything was great. I also wish they would turn down the AC for a more enjoyable environment. We couldn't completely relax because it was rather hot. Which is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.

Lila Leal

Nice buffet to try Indian cuisine

Shawn Wright

Very tasty Indian cuisine. The spice & seasoning was just right. The coconut chicken curry was the the best followed by the lamb saag. Vegetarian dishes we tried were excellent as well. Can't go wrong with the somozas served here as well.

Igor Albuquerque

I can't describe how great this place is. It was my forst time having indian food, and the food was so good that I regretted ever eating food that I was already demilitarized with. New flavors were amazing. Also I am not used to spicy food and that was not an issue. Just let them know you are weak and they will hold the spicy with no flavor loss.

mary lou Hager

Excellent great food

Iqbal Saiyad

Very good service and great food. Chai tea is awesome must have whenever we visit there.

Shannon Skaalure

They offer some amazing dishes to fulfill your Indian cravings. My menu go-to's include the vegetable samosas, paneer tikka masala, and mushroom mutter. They offer buffet at times (usually we avoid buffets) but everything was delicious, plus they offered various protein options to satisfy meat-eaters and vegetarians alike.

Gail Venyah

Loved the food, great service, great size portions. Maybe the best Naan I have had, butter chicken, ginger chicken and tandoori mixed grill all very delicious. Only small thing lighting too dark and very cold in restaurant.

Curtis Desaulos

Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet! Very tasty

Bailey Woods

Best Indian food my husband and I have ever had. We always say that this is where we would go if we had to pick one restaurant to eat at when we visit CS next. Taz owners: PLEASE COME TO AMARILLO!! We need your delicious Mushroom Masala!

Jay Butler

Great food and friendly staff. If you like spicy try the Lamb Vindaloo. Gave it five stars because I couldn't give it six.

Biraj Guha

Good variety on buffet...but not all meat dishes are up to the mark... vegetarian dishes really good!

Antonin Spears

Came to College Station to take my dog to A&M. After a rough day, I wanted to eat someplace quiet and comforting. I decided to try Taz. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff made my visit very enjoyable. I was greeted by a young man with a kind smile. After that, every staff member came to the table and offered kind smiles and excellent service. I ordered Samosa’s as an appetizer. Before I even finished the first one, I knew I was eating the best Halal food I’d ever tasted!!!! The food was incredible!!!! And the prices were great! My food was fresh and tasted wonderful! I will definitely return to Taz on my next visit! I highly recommend Taz!

Sohail Badi

Nice buffet but the starters are a thing apart especially when you hae been away from home (india) from quite sometime.

Deepika Kasula

Foreigners relate this to authentic indian food though it doesn’t do the slightest justice to the true taste of Indian food. Anyone can mix storebought spices into a dish and call themselves a restaurant!

Anvay Pandit

Food was decent...should be more spicy though

Ahsan Khan

Don’t get fooled by the paid reviews for this restaurant Horrible food and horrible service (no exaggeration) Super dirty restaurant overall “Dogs and Indians not allowed” if they could they would put that sign on the front door ... the way they treat non white people in that restaurant is straight 1809 Hindustan ... how White customers get steamed hot towels and regular Indian customers don’t? Horrible food and horrible service ... if you are white you could get your thing blown with every breath you take in that restaurant just for the simple fact that you are white.... how is this Indian restaurant ran by Indians who barely speak any English be racists against Indians .... it’s a cotdamn oximoron. It’s a shame to see this.

Jacob Walla

I’ve only ordered off the menu so I don’t know how the buffet is, but everything from the menu has been excellent. Chicken Vindaloo and Chicken Chettinad are both great (I love spicy dishes) and the naan is so fluffy & delicious! I also tried the Chole Bhatura (puffy bread with a garbanzo bean curry) and I was so pleasantly surprised! Huge portions and it was addictive. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and the prices are standard for Indian food. So glad we have this place in college station!

Jeffrey Keefauver

Great food and the buffets is amazing. They have great chicken tica masala. I think I spelled that right. We come here often and will keep coming back.

Michal Pate

Fantastic food, service is pretty good especially the owner who is very friendly and gets to know her customers. They have increased their prices over the years but the buffet is still worth every penny.

Brenda Turney

I didn't eat there but it smelled so good! They have the buffet now, looks delicious! I made a delivery from there the customer said it is so good!

Ryan Sorensen

Best indian food ever....

Elizabeth Lingener

Great selection of vegetarian items on the buffet. Dishes are flavorful and naan is piping hot and fresh.

Allyson Leatherwood

Unparalleled food. Their lunch buffet is great, but come here during dinner and you will have the freshest, best tasting curries ever. Their portions are massive, and well worth the price. It can be hard to get a refill on drinks, but the food makes up for it. Our go to Indian restaurant when we crave it!

Mariya Reyes

I love their curry goat & the mushroom dish they have. Never have any problems & great customer service

Chris Vincent

I doubt that I would ever go full vegetarian, but if I did, I know I could always find good food here. Even as a full on omnivore there's plenty of delicious meats here.

Shubham Chakravarty

Very bad restaurant. Claims to serve Indian food but actually they don't.

Jake Pruitt

Absolutely loved it, not only were the host and waitress courtious, the food was superb. Didn't wait terribly long on a casual Saturday evening with a moderate amount of people. Definitely will be coming back again.

Dee Cee

I've ordered in restaurant and on campus from the food truck before. Wonderful experiences each time!! They even had more naan brought to them when they ran out. Delicious food!

Karen Fajardo

I love their food, they should reconsider their space and sitting arrangements though. It feels too crowded and I can hear other people's conversations, like their in my bubble. Also, the hostess was not very friendly.

Divyesh Batra

The buffet lunch is good. It's indian and has a lot of variety to choose from.

Chris Stewart

Nice variety on the lunch buffet. Some mild to spicy meats and vegetables and Nan bread to sop up the gravies. Yum.

Harish Kumar

This is not an Indian Restaurant!!! Real Indian food is different.....The authenticity and flavor is torn. Since being the only Indian 'supposedly' restaurant in town, it results in no other choice. Rather, call it an American-Indo cuisine, will be the 1st of it kind :P

Nathan Stephenson

I ordered the kadai chicken, friend ordered the vindaloo lamb. My dinner was on point. I recommend not ordering a naan unless you want one as an appetizer, as the dinner is served with a basket of naan. Will eat here again! Vindaloo is truly spicy, with great flavor

Kimmie Pawlak

Only problem they didn't refill an item that was almost empty when we arrived 2 hours before they closed!

Austin

Family run with great food and service.

Tadesse Fikre Teferra

I have been here multiple times and the food is okay, but authentic. The location is convenient and they have huge parking space. I like the spicy like ginger and curry flavors. Today I have come with a frien2 for lunch and enjoyed the varieties of curry from the buffets including the desserts. We wanted to take food for our friend but they did not allow as to take a food out from the buffets. We had to order from the menu and wait for 15 minutes.

Jesus Contreras manecpht

The presentation is always on point. Great service!

Ehsan Rohani

They are nice people but the quality of Todd has dropped drastically this last 2 years.

Benjamin Morse

I have only been here for the buffet about once a year, but it is always good when I go. One if my favorite dishes is the goat curry, though it is often a battle of timing when they refill the buffet as it goes quick!

Snapdragon

I LOVE this place. Great food but it's just too pricey for me to eat there regularly and I can never make it for the buffet ='(

Abdulrahman A

The best Indian food in town and might be the only one :p The food is really good. During lunch time they have buffet which is cheap compared to the food quality; however ordering food from the menu might be a bit expensive. The butter chicken and the samosa are really good! The only downside in my opinion is the smell that might be due to the poor ventilation. After leaving the restaurant especially at lunch your shirt will definitely smell like Indian food.

Belks

Delicious! My favorite, curry goat.

Ishan Khatri

Reached this place very hungry along with 2 other people. The lady said the restaurant is closed. Owner please change the closing time.

Whitney Terry

I love this place i always go here for indian food i love that you can get spicy on any food option you choose i highly recommend this place

Nathan Hart

Good food! Good buffet!

Hayley E

Indian food is delicious, and this should not be an exception. However, my biggest concern with Taz is the cleanliness. After hearing a friend discuss the two separate times she found hair in her food, I blew it off thinking it was just coincidence (maybe that was dumb). She wanted to go anyways, and I thought that meant they were still worth it. However, I found hair in my food in a mediocre biriyani... and that was it for me. Curry at home is mostly better, anyhow. If you can get past the cleanliness issues, then I would like to add that they're pretty vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free friendly.

James Montano

Authentic (ish) Indian cuisine. A tad pricey but the food is worth it. Me and my always get an order of curry each and we always leave satisfied, and we also often have leftovers. Their na'an is amazing and always served fresh alongside any meal. Their Togo meals are also very convenient. Great location if you live on the southern side of campus. Service is a bit slow, but the quality is worth waiting for. Never had a bad experience here.

Nathan Smith

Kind of expensive (maybe $14 for the buffet), but the food is pretty authentic and tastes great.

Liz Manzano

I love their biryani

Adithya Ajith

The one and only Indian restaurant in BCS.

Jared Hocker

Walked in immediately met with very nice service. Left with a belly full of great food.

Amogh Muley

Not much option for vegetarian..

Derrek James

I love the food here. It can be a little pricey, but it's often enough to share. The buffet (11-3 I think) is WELL worth it. Some days you may even get lucky with samosa or dosa on the buffet. The management is very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about their food. I'm vegan, and Lakshmi always tells me what is available for me on the buffet. A few months ago, they even updated the menu to indicate vegan and gluten-free items. Vegetarian items are also in their own section of the menu. I highly encourage you to give this restaurant a try.

Mehreen K

The food was great and fresh. When my friend and I arrived, we had planned on ordering a la carte, however, I ended up eating the buffet. The owner there was extremely helpful with helping me identify which foods in the buffet were vegan. She even offered to give me chola masala (chickpea dish) from the kitchen even though it wasn't on the menu. The buffet was delicious and perfectly spicy. The price was good too for the amount of food you get. My friend ordered the chicken tikka masala a la carte. She loved it. She said it was fresh, tasty, and had a good amount of spice. She ordered the naan and the rice with the tikka masala. The menu and the food is expensive compared to most Indian restaurants, but the food was great.

Bex

The best Indian buffet in the USA. They offer a wide variety of dishes. The naan is fluffy. There's also desserts on the buffet. The only thing I would change is how the chai tea is served in a big coffee dispenser. It tastes overcooked! Tea is not too sweet, which is very good but please offer honey packs for the tea. Just a touch of honey really makes it perfect flavor.

Nithya Kalyani

Ok. Not great. Chutneys not good. Sambar ok. Idly ok.

Alexander Garza

Really tasty Indian food with an Authentic decor and environment. One of the best Samosas I have eaten in my life. The staff was very attentive and service was perfect. All the food was flavored perfectly and ingredient s were extremely fresh. We had the sampler meal, Sag Paneer, Veggie Biryiani,, and Goat curry. Butter chicken was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant.

arjun parameswaran

The only indian place in town! Buffet seems a bit expensive, but otherwise good food and service!

arvind sridhar

Not so great food

Chloe Hawkings

This is one of my favorite restaurants in college station. In particular the lunch buffet is unbeatable quality and value. They have a huge variety of dishes, sides, rice and fresh fruits. It’s all you can eat so it’s easy to overeat but everything is really delicious and very unique. The staff are friendly and efficient. I don’t even think I’ve ever run low on water. It’s easy to find really good options for vegetarians and it is a suitable venue for large groups. I’ve also use Taz for catering and they are very courteous and easy to plan with so you get exactly what you want and enough for everyone. I would recommend them!

Eliud Jacobo

Great food, great service!! Nothing else top say...

Stéphanie McGuirt

Always awesome! Great buffet with lots of selection. The coffee is amazing!

Andy Armstrong

Awesome experience! Flavor of the food was wonderful. Exactly what I was expecting from an Indian cuisine. Highly recommend.

Sylvia Burgess

Very savory. The staff was friendly and sociable. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I liked to visit.

shubhang goswami

Good hyderabadi fare. vegeterian review: The food is good, we asked them to make our daal and paneer butter masala without onion or garlic and the restaurant was very accomadating and the food turned out good. Do try the biriyani, the hyderebadi style is done real well and I enjoyed my veg biriyani a lot. It is probably the only indian place at College Station, still recommend for indian food.

Austistic Evans

$10 for a pile of tastless microwaved food. They didnt even microwave it right, the rice was cold. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE INDIAN THIEVES

Matthew Coleman

Great place to meet and catch up with friends. Service is typically above par.

Celeste Barrentine

We eat supper at Taz for family birthdays, or when my daughter comes in from out of town, or if we want to spend some family time together and eat really good food that we can all share. Great staff, very accommodating, answer any questions we have about something new we want to try, which is usually every visit!! The lunch buffet is alao really good food, a good selection and a fair price.

Tanner Johnson

This place was awesome. Went for dinner and had the tiki masala, Naan bread, and chai tea which was all fantastic. The restaurant itself wasn't too busy so the service was spot on and we were taken care of the entire time. From beginning to end my entire party enjoyed our dinner, will definitely be back in the foreseeable future.

Lindy Thomas

Yummy! Super friendly staff, too

Lisa Everett

I love this place! Friendly staff and the food is delicious. Always flavorful and never disappoints. Go to the buffet, there are items there that are not on the menu.

Tanya Miller

Very good food with so much flavor!

Paul Foster

Had the lunch buffet. Good selection of very tasty foods. Best Indian food in town.

Jake Mitchell

My favorite restaurant in BCS! We always share a Gobi Manchuria as an appetizer, which is delicious and then split a curry. Tons of options. Everything we've had has been delicious.

Michael Thourot

Enjoyed our meal.

Chelsea Jordan

Wonderful food!! I am gluten free (health reasons), and I figured that most Indian food is naturally gluten free, so I should be fine. Turns out, their menu is very clearly labeled what is gluten free, and vegan, too! It was lovely to have lots of options. I got the Dal Makhani and my girlfriend got the Chicken Vindaloo, and both were outstanding. I also asked for some mango chutney on the side and that did not disappoint!! I will definitely be returning the next time I am in College Station!

Charles Vesperman

Although the place doesn't look super-fancy, the food is more than superb. I used to think Indian food was runny and textureless. Nope. I just hadn't had GOOD Indian food yet. TAZ is excellent and it changed my tune. The lunch buffet isn't cheap, but it lets you try a lot of flavors. Well worth it just for the experience.

Lan Du

Food is good. However, the service is slow. One or two servants do not speak or understand English well.

Shannon Hazel

This place is delicious! The owners are so sweet, and we love their food truck as well. The food.is always very fresh and we'll.prepared.

Ingrid Leon

Good place to eat Indian cuisine, we went to eat in the buffet, it is a lot of food

Willian Gonzalez

excellent food. lunch buffet is a great value, family owned. Great service with a smile.

Jessica Klingsick

Fantastic food and service! Some of the best indian food I've ever had. Make sure to get the garlic naan. Definitely can't wait to go back!

Steven Sanders

Don't sign up for the loyalty program. It appears that it gives you 50$ in app to spend there but when you order they only let you take out a small amount. They don't tell you that until you wait for your food and it's time to pay.

VISHWAS KANNAKATTI

Average food/service for the price. No salt in Biryani and no spoons in Togo pack.

Chrissy Brannan

My first taste of Lamb ever! The Lamb Tikka Masala is devine! I'm always so relaxed after eating the Tikka Masala dishes!

Richard T Woodward

For the money, I think this is the best restaurant in College Station. It's not fancy and the service is not always professional, but oh my is it tasty. Even the Indians I know think the food at Taz is very good.

Hannah Horne

I love this place. I'm not an Indian food expert, but I do know one thing: this food is always good

Sean Blakley

Best restaurant in college station. Very friendly service, delicious food. Lunch buffet is awesome.

Becky Grubbs

Great food. Very tasty, with a large and diverse menu to choose from. I typically have the butter chicken because it is so rich and flavorful. Service has been excellent every time I have gone and I always leave feeling satisfied. An excellent option especially on a colder night to help warm you up!
