At present the firm has a rating of 4.0 out of 5 and the rating was based on 498 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is quite high, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the valuation is very credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are happy, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Korean restaurant.
It is just an ordinary Korean restaurant and there is nothing bistro about it. There are much better options around the town.
The food was delish and fresh. They also give good portions that are sizeable enough to split.
Good if you know how to cook your own food properly. This is one of the only all you can’t eat Korean bbq in Dallas
Ok spot for Korean food. Good place to catch up with friends. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back. This place has a nice atmosphere.
One of our favorite places to eat when on Dallas, great for a big gathering to visit. Nice people, service is attentive without hovering.
Lots of very tasty food. I had the lunch meal and it includes 8 appetizers plus rice and lots of Bulgogi. Lots of food for $10.00
The price is decent. The food is very fresh and safe.
Such a fun experience and great selection of food!!
Upstairs BBQ buffet was a $49 for two people. I feel like I really could of gotten more but was unsure what I was getting into. My wife enjoyed the appetizers I'm not even gonna attempt to pronounce. Good food considering I've never had this style food before.
Not as good as before. Do they have a new chef?
I’m writing this review while waiting for the food. The waiter was rude and not friendly. It took forever him to come take the order. I’ll write about food after I eat. Food was great. I’ll come back if they improve their customer service.
Wonderful meats, smaller menu of of 6 pork, 4 beef 1 chicken shrimp and 1squid not bad for 21.99 dinner and 19.99 lunch Would Def come again No free ginger ice tea like others tho
Excellent food and service!!
korean food, mmm, super good. the staff was very friendly and attentive.
We had a great time cooking our foid
This place is awesome. Plenty of meat for a decent price. Unlimited meat and sides is pretty nice. The only problems I had were with the lack of garlic in the line and at times the sides were somewhat unfresh. At the right time though, this place is great.
Very good food and service. The short ribs are delicious; they practically melt in your mouth. Good service and great prices too. Location could be better, other than that, I definitely recommend you try it.
Amazing high quality food with a great atmosphere. This place is both fancy and casual. It is a bit pricey, but absolutely good.
I heard they had new ownwrship but still serving the best quality korean bbq. Highly recommended.
The LA Galbi 갈비 was so scrumptious as was the Bibim-naengmyeon 비빔냉면 and the Yukgaejang 욕개장. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive and we will definitely go back.
Korean food served here is delicious!
I've been to other all you can eat and the meat quality is AMAZING 10/10 WILL definitely be back
Good food and good staff.
My fav spot for korean food. Nothing to complain about. The service here is above par. This place has a great atmosphere. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I liked.
Fine spot for Korean food. Great hospitality. This place has a cool atmosphere.
New owner is horrendous. How she manages to get my order wrong every single time amazes me. Last night was the last straw, never going back
This place has been my frequent. Every time I come, I order something different because they have so many more choices than other Korean restaurants that I've ever been too. Many dishes were the ones that I never heard of or seen before. But they have been able to impress me with every dish. The food taste really good, and the portion were huge too. $13 lunch, I can eat for at least 2 meals. And I'm a fairly large guy... I LOVE THIS PLACE!
OH MY GOD. I love Sura so much. the Ko Mart area is the original K-town for north central DFW before H Mart came. Sura is run by a friendly staff with a wide selection of banchan. Make sure you know what you are getting before you come here. Be sure to ask for L.A. Galbi so you get your money's worth.
Dine in or Grill buffet Dine in food are between $10-$30, one of the best Korean restaurant ever. Grill meat buffet with variety of side disks, $19.99 for lunch and $21.99 for dinner AYCE
good service and best Korean food restaurant in town
Food was great here.. we are from out of town but we came back twice.. loved everything.
This is a great place the portioning is great. I left super full. I love the service very spot on, and the side dishes that come with the Korean barbeque was awesome. I will definitely be visiting this place again several times. Next time I will try the buffet.
They don’t respect your business if you are not a Korean customer. Still, I gave a 20% tip (showing my pride) to their “DISCRIMINATION treatment of customers.” A side story – when we walked out the door (with our smiley faces), the manager (a Korean lady at the front door) paid NO ATTENTION to us and just talked to the next sushi chef (a Korean man) ... I guess what she said is, ‘look at those dudes, they came to a wrong place, here are KOREANS ONLY’. Of course, we copy the message and would never ever come back again! And THANK YOU for your HUMILIATION (we paid $35 for that, including a tip)!!
Good food and service
Delicious last minute lunch
All you can eat Korean bbq with various meat and appetizers. Good price and nice atmosphere. Not too busy
This was a really fun experience! The food was delicious and it was something new to try. I would definitely come back and visit again. The restaurant is in Korea Town in Dallas, and it's in the corner spot of a strip mall type place. There are 2 floors. The first is for formal seating, the buffet is upstairs. There are grills at the table, and you grill your own meat. When didn't know that going in, but it was fun. And soooooo good
korean food at this place - very tasty. The food was tasty. The service here is above par. Not so close to my office, unfortunately.
I love the food there. Variety of Korean food is available.
Clean and delicious food
I found a piece of plastic in my dolsot bibimbab today. The owner didn’t seem surprised when I took it to her attention. She did not apologize either. Hot dolsot bowl can be as hot as 350°F and this 5-inch piece of plastic can leach toxic chemicals when exposed to heat. It also could have choked me if not found early enough. It was disappointing to see the owner being so indifferent to the serious health risks. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
One of my favorite places for delicious Korean food. reminds me of a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed.
I live in southern Dallas County, and it is so worth the drive. It is the best Korean restaurants in the Dallas area. The staff is wonderful and the food is great.
My Korean friend took me to eat here. Can't get better than this. Great customer service. They really care about your experience here.
Absolutely amazing and excellent customer service! Everyone was very kind and helpful! I've never been to a Korean BBQ before and definitely want to go back to this one and take all of my family!
To-go food is great. Please fix website so I can view menu T_T
Always a great all you can eat stop when we are in Dallas. The staff is AWESOME!
It was okay food was good. I liked the rib eye. They added 15% gratuity eventho I was in a group of 4 not 6. The lady working there didn't really check on us for water and we wanted more And my friend asked but was ignored a few times.
The experience is amazing the food is great
Good place for delicious Korean food. Two thumbs up for this place. The service was very welcoming and sociable. It has a great atmosphere. Feeling here is similar to a place in Columbus I liked.
This was my first experience with a Korean BBQ place, and overall I enjoyed it. The buffet is a novelty; cooking your own food sure is a fun twist. Good selection of meats, but I wish they had noodles, because otherwise it's pretty much just meat. Pretty expensive too. I know it's all you can eat, but $18 for lunch (especially having to cook the food yourself) is a little pricey for me. Overall good place. Beware: there is a $10 charge for not finishing your meat. We didn't have that problem, but make sure to keep that in mind when you get your portions.
This place was great. A friend of mine brought us to this location and highly recommend it. It's an all you can eat Korean buffet. Food quality, including the different types of meat was very good quality. They had a good selection of side dishes - very tasty. The staff was always on top of things - service was excellent. Best of all was the price. It was little over $20 per person.
I can't go here as much as I would like. The food is all ways good and all way to much I was like bringing friends here it's fun atmosphere specially when you're doing and barbecue upstairs
Spicy, delicious, and very reasonably priced.
A fav place for tasty Korean food. Food was so fresh. Next time I'll be back with my coworkers.
They've changed things up now on how to get meat but they still have good quality meat. Only thing I'd change is...get some cool air upstairs...its too freaking hot up there.
Ate the BBQ AYCE. Meat selection was small. Even though I don't mind having to get your own food, the service was terrible. Just bc we serve ourselves, doesn't mean we don't need help.
I went to the all you can eat upstairs and the quality was great. The server didn't come around often but they seemed under staffed. Also there was no dipping sauce so if you like korean bbqs sauce, I recommend buying it from the Komart next to it.
Yummy!!! And cheap for lunch
Good food, good price
This place is used to be my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant. But now the service is not good as it should be. We came here around 5p.m. and a young man served us. He didn’t pay a lot attention on us. He forgot to bring us the salad and some other stuff. The quality of meat here is also degraded.
Service good. Food good.
I love this place. There is still a language barrier at times but happy that they provide good customer service regardless. Other Korean places, if you are not Korean, they just take your order, drop off food and serve you the bill. You have to flag down someone for service.
Ok. I do enjoy this place normally however I have experienced something that I have to share. We came in on a Monday around 8pm we go to the all you can eat on the second floor, they staff sees us and looked at each other with ‘uh oh.....’ face and I knew that meant they are closing early and I was right. The reasoning was cause the weather is too cold. Now here’s the thing they are open from 10am to 10pm everyday of the week. There was no notice of saying they are closing early whatsoever. I get it it’s a Korean place so it could of been in Korean but this place needs to have signs to inform people ‘hey we are closing early’ cause you do advertise you’re open till 10pm. Thanks sura for ruining our anniversary dinner. I hope you keep ruining more people’s experience out there on a daily basis. From now on we are going to go Gyu-Kaku. At least this place has better meat choices and are very friendly to people that come in. Sura you could learn something from the Japanese all you can eat yakiniku restaurant.
Cheap prices and good food
Taste has changed
I don't like the service here. If you are young or don't know any one who works there, good luck. Food is ok. I like other Korean restaurants.
Though the food taste good, such a slow service
Good location for delicious Korean food. I will be bringing friends next time.
We tried all you can eat(meat buffet).. It was just ok. Nothing more nothing less.. Those side dishes were old and tasteless. Just one time ..
Excellent scene for quality korean food. i like it here always quality food & service. the staff was very sociable and kind. the place has an awesome atmosphere.
Service was ok. Bulgogi was a bit too sweet. Got it bit stuffy due to the venting. Be prepared, It's open grill, you'll smell like the restaurant. Everything you carry in will smell.
Sura is such a great place to bring a group of friends to socialize while eating .Don't sweat the small stuff if you've never been to a self korean BBQ restaurant before because the employees are nice and knowledgeable enough to guide you through the process. Large variety of different meats and seafood. Vegetarian options are there but limited .
The AYCE KBBQ was a big disappointment. It's self service and the waitress rarely stop by to check on us. The food wasn't good. For the same price you would be better off at Omi or Gen. I won't come back for the AYCE
Meat is good. Side dishes are okay. Service was awful! The waiter came in and, no joke, said "Don't want to be here want to go home." and home he went. Because I saw him only once. They put us in the back room and didn't come change the pan, didn't come give us water, I pushed the button and no one came I went out twice because the pan was steaming and burning my eyes. Not coming here again. There are many other Korean BBQ who value their customers.
Good food and fast Service....
Sura change the way we get meat from the buffet upstairs by going fresh cut to order. This is a great change from what they did before where You had no idea how long ago they cut that meat. I gotta sat I like the fresh cut way better highly recommend
Trying something new this is the place, great food!
Food was ok, service was really bad.
This is a review for the all you can eat meat buffet. If you eat meat, it's definitely a value deal as there's plenty of meat from which to choose. The salad bar is also pretty well stocked. Down a few stars because service was lacking. We had to remind the staff multiple times to bring us more of our requested items - e.g. salad, water, etc. The 10% off (for bills of $50+) for checking in on Yelp was a nice plus.
A little cool inside when cold outside. Food is VERY good. Service is good. They will bring more than you can eat...
Best Korean food in town
This was my first experience trying Korean Barbeque/ Bistro and I have to say I was blown away. The quality of items and selection to cook are unmatched. They have beef, chicken, seafood & pork . Marinated & unmarinated. Soups, fruits and veggies if you are vegetarian or vegan. Everything is so fresh and they really strive to keep everything clean and prepared for their patrons. The service was excellent. Very helpful and always checking to see if you need anything and changing out the grill so you can have a clean surface to cook on. I was taken here for my birthday dinner and couldn't have been happier. It's definitely now in my TOP 5 of Favorite places. Can't wait to go again!!
This was my first time at a Korean BBQ place, the staff explained everything, and was very helpful. The marinated ribeye steak, in my opinion is to sweet, but good. I then chose the cut fresh pork belly. It was very good! I definitely will be back! Good job staff!!!
First time coming here very good food the meats, nice atmosphere.
Always the best all you can eat option. I like that you can pick your own meat and see it. No waste.
Delicious food good service
Great korean food. But the staff always seems a bit..unenthusiastic.
Good food, great price. Lots of food served hot and fresh. Everything shown in the picture (and more) for $13 and $14.
Love the meat all you can eat and great selection of food here.
Awesome Korean food, clean , nice environment, very friendly staff. Favorite Korean place in Dallas .
Nice site for tasty Korean food. everyone at our table was glad to be there. the service was very friendly and attentive.
Great market and great Bulgogi at lunch.
The service was really slow. No horribly crowded but it was buffet. They just had to bring out the pork belly and other special menus. Wish they had more variety
Had goat soup few days back. Lot of goat meat, spices were excellent. The portion is big, was full having half of it. Love to try the seafood options soon.
Great service and excellent food portions.... all you can eat! Enjoyed a couple of Hite beers, Korean BBQ beef which was able to be cooked right on the table we were sitting at!
This restaurant offers good and seasonal taste of foods. Even the side dishes are really great. With the waitress' advice and tips I could enjoy the menu more pleasantly. Keep up the great jobs!
Don't be afraid to go because the building is a bit of a dump. Walk in, go upstairs, and LOVE the buffet. It's about $25 per adult but I'd pay double that. The quality of meat is top knotch. I'd like to have had a bit quicker service, but it was no where near slow enough to deduct a star. Free parking on site.
Been coming here once a week for a couple years. Love this place.
This is pretty big and popular Korean restaurant in that area. I don't know if they have Korean chef in the kitchen.
One of my fav spots for korean food. i often meet people here to talk. prices were fair for the quality of the food.
Was Good. Not Great
no suggestion. staff just act like walmart employee. food is okay.
Their banchan from regular menu is nice. Especially the kimchi itsmperfect the sweet, sour, and spicy flavor is well balanaced. If you want something warm with vegetables and tofu I reccomend trting Fish Roe soup/jjang?. Next time I'll definetaly come for sushi and also the bbq. Disclaimer if you want bbq you have to come at least 2 people they don't accept single guests for bbq
Delicious food&very nice staffs
Fair food but expensive price... same quality food in Arlington is about $5 less than here.
Good Korean BBQ. Buffet style.
Great Korean BBQ. We only went to the buffet part upstairs. Nice casual spot.
WORST Korean BBQ experience I've ever had. First the waitstaff came to our table one time to give us water that tasted like it came from a pool. Next they did not explain the process or what to do and if they had have the experience probably would have been a little different. We did not know they charged just for taking a seat for the buffet. Half of the party didn't eat and when we got to the register to pay they charged us for the 2 kids that did not eat and the 1 adult that did not eat. We tried to explain that they did not eat and were told they charge just for being there which if we had have known that when we arrived we would have chosen not to eat at the buffet. If the restaurant were busy, I would understand charging just for being there, but there was no wait and no one in the buffet area. Also they charge a 15% gratuity for parties of 6 or more which is understandable, but they definitely did nothing that deserved to be tipped other than bring us a glass of water that tasted dirty. Definitely will not be visiting this place again!!
Love this place most wonderful place in the world my moms favorite place before she passed away
Weekend lunch buffet offers all options (dinner price) which was nice. Food was on par with what you'd expect from a buffet but would've liked some of the spicy options. Buffet was nice to try all of the meats but if we came back, we'd pick the best couple and do individual dinners.
One of my favorite places for delicious Korean food. I'll return friends next time. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I liked.
Good Korean food. The service was slow. They were short-handed, but servers tried their best.
Great all you can eat place. Quiet atmosphere
I ate way too much here. Way more than what I think the restaurant should be able to afford. Great service. We ate in the big room, which does not have the greatest ventilation. You will not notice it until you grab your second plate of food to barbecue. Highly recommend for large parties, to be very clear on how to split the bill at the start of the meal.
First time there did the buffet and grilled at the table the food was good and so was the service.
The food was good but, not great. Service was average. Overall, not too bad
My favorite location for korean food. looking forward to coming back with my friends.
I go here all the time because is good. But not anymore. They charge you for waste of food. Which will be a $10 fee and they are cutting down on food. There were no salad. No clear noodle that I love isn't there. See the picture. I will go someplace else. Thanks, but no thanks.
Stood at the entrance waiting to be seated for about five minutes only to be ignored. Two women come in after me and are seated immediately without even pretending that she was going to help me.
Outstanding service and food was fantastic
The buffet was good. Worth the price.
This place is amazing, the sushi is delicious, I also had the avocado salad and it was awesome. I'm definitely coming back
korean food and service here is excellent. It was so appetizing. The staff was very helpful and observant. This place has a great design. This place has positive reviews for a reason.
I prefer the upstairs seating at Sura. Great Korean BBQ and customer service is pretty good too.
First time here food and service wasfirst rate
We just moved from Korea last year after spending a little over three and a half years there. This place was very authentic and felt like I was back in the country. The food was really good and they had real soju there. The only downside is that it was 22 dollars per person for a buffet style/cook your own meal.
a good Korean buffet restaurant. plenty, fresh, and a good quality meats. I enjoined!
This place is not good. Food is too dry and doesn't taste good and its food is pre cold
I eat a lot of KBBQ at a lot of different places so I thought to try Sura next. I have mixed feelings about this restaurant because, while the food was really good, the service was a bit subpar. I don’t really look Korean despite being half and it was my first time at Sura but no one explained how the dining experience there was. It’s a self-service place, but it took a while for us to be sat and get our drinks and then they didn’t explain how the self-service went. I stood around for a while trying to figure out where to find the beef brisket before I realized that you have to ask specifically for that. However, the beef brisket was amazing. It was incredibly fresh and I watched the worker literally slice the meat thinly in front of us so we knew it wasn’t just packaged meat. They also have a ton of banchan options that I could have gotten full off of just that. I was a bit confused browsing around because of all the different banchan they had to offer, but it was delicious and well-worth the money that I spent to eat there.
Me and my wife enjoyed everything about our experience there. The waiter was super nice and very helpful. Me and my wife NEVER take home leftovers, but this time she thought her chicken was way to good to leave behind. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food Is ok. But i prefer the competition better.
Excellent food
I love Korean food.
Cozy place and tasty food. Great customer service loved it
Too hot inside restaurant.
Outstanding place for tasty Korean food. Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. The bill was appropriate.
Amazing =)
Food wasn't bad but service was slow
We are regular costumer before but then last week there are new employees in the buffet and they are not happy while serving us didn't even bother to go on our table and get the used utensils that is why we give them low tip because of their poor service. Before we go they got the bill and saw the tip they look us like they are mad to us. We're not going back again and I'll let my friends know what happened.
Not good as it use to be
Great food and a reasonable price.
This place makes me feel like I'm in 1950's Korea, every man for himself. First of all I have get to all the food myself and I'm American not Korean so I don't know which meat is which. If all I know it could've been North Korean. What was unfortunate was the "meat" was housed in poor shanty like containers susceptible to open air bacterium. Our server did not speak English, could not understand what he was saying. And then they proceeded to charge me $2 for a CAN of Sprite which I had to pour myself ugh. Let me add I felt like I was in Pyongyang because Sura is located in the hood.
Sura is a good, all you can eat, Korean BBQ option. The meat is fresh and tasty. I always stop here on my way through dallas
my fav place for tasty korean food. i was super full. similar to a cafe in las vegas i loved.
Went there with groups of friends and Sura had “problem” processing our checks separately because they were getting charged by individual swipes from credit card company. If you have problem with separate checks, please say so ahead or post it on online before you come up to people and act like you guys are doing a favor and ruin others evening. (And its after talking to managements so please reconsider if ANY of you gonna go there with groups friends and wants to pay separately)
Good food, good portion size, friendly service.
This place is all about the food, not the staff. The staff they do their best to serve you, but don't rely on them for everything. You can go grab your own food and cook it yourself and eat as much as you want. I went here once a month for a whole year. If I have the cash, I would go here every week. It is addicting and the price is reasonable. I tried all the other all -you-can-eat Korean BBQ in DFW and I love this one the most. Man... I am craving for some of that pork belly now.... ugh. Ya'll don''t need to come here because I don't need ya'll be crowding up my space ;)
My first experience with Korean food. I liked it. Was surprised to find sushi here.
Best Korean BBQ in DFW(imo)
Sura has been around for years and it has continued to strive to become better as more Korean bbq places popped up within the past few years. We typically come here for either the all you can eat Korean bbq upstairs or for the sushi/sashimi when we eat downstairs. I like to take people who have never tried Korean bbq before here because they also serve other items as side dishes. This is definitely my comfort spot for Korean bbq.
Amazing KBBQ joint, staff is super friendly.
Food was not that great. It use to be really good but not anymore. I order a sea food dish with octopus and it seem like it wasn't fully clean. It had a really funky smell. And i found onion in my water. Yet they still gave me the same cup with the same onion in it.
Excellent scene for Korean food.
For AYCE, it is the standard by which I compare other AYCE Korean BBQ places. Is it the best? No. It is however, in my opinion, is the best bang for the buck. There are better places but they cost twice as much. If you're not into the AYCE, they have a regular sit down option downstairs. Lunch portions are good as you can get the dosirak which is the Korean version of a bento. The staff has always been good to us and we have NEVER had bad service.
Very bad customer services very very very slow cooking very very very bad foood
One of my preferred locations for tasty Korean food. This location is one of my favorites. Certainly worth a return visit. It has an awesome atmosphere.
I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. Prices were average for the menu. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
