Chicken Biryani, divine taste. I was 5 min away from the restaurant and I called to order for dine in. We were famished and the person who took the order was so compassionate, food was ready at the table when we arrive. Late night craving ends at Pista house!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED I am surprised to see this is one among many people’s favorite restaurant, I got in on a Friday evening craving for some yummy biriyani. I have literally had Biriyani from all the other restaurants in this locality and I was told the biriyani here is one that I shouldn’t miss. I ordered fried chicken biriyani to make it something special, we waited at least 25 mins, forget that. The biriyani came in, microwaved, one half of it was cold remaining was warm, deep inside again cold..! I was even asked how spicy I wanted the biriyani during order and I mentioned medium. Forget medium, there were no spices at all in the biriyani, all I got was cold old colored rice, and 3 chicken pieces from the dum biryani fried. Not only that I would not go there again, Being a food lover, I am extremely disappointed at this restaurants content and service.

These guys are ruining brand name. We ordered 5 haleem 1 chicken biryani and as per suggestion of the person at counter we took a family pack of goat biryani Haleem was good but too much green chilli seeds. Chicken biryani was good. Goat biryani all the meat was burnt and too much of salt. We were 5 ppl sharing goat biryani more than 3/4 was left off due to taste and burnt essence in biryani.

Chicken dum biryani is the best here. Guntur kodi vepudu is the best too. Also the sweet pan was good here. Try this place if you want good Hyderabadi biryani. Update: Haleem, which I tried during Ramzan season, was too good. It tasted perfectly like Hyderabadi haleem.

The food quality is somewhat still holding up but the service and atmosphere is horrible. I understand it is a cafe environment but waiting 45 mins on food and the high prices make this place repulsive.

Ordered vijayawada chicken biryani!! They said it would take 20-25 min. Waited the time and got some biryani, I can challenge that it is not how vijayawada chicken biryani is made. Worst experience. I don’t know about other biryani here but, waste of waiting and waste of the food.

Bad food and poorly run. What else is left to say? The only appeal of this place is that it is open late but I would still avoid it as it's really BAD. My guess is that this place is going to shut down soon unless some major changes are made.

Hole in the wall place serving good Biryanis. I am a vegetarian and had the veggie biryani. It was very good. The Paneer Tikka Kebabs were amazing - the best I have had in a long time. Will be trying more items in the future.

This hotel is really a Good one. I personally get a chance to meet the owners of the hotel today. They are great. I tasted Lamb Kebabs. Fish Kebabs, Hairali Kebabs, Chicken Tikka, Briyani and finally my favorite Haleem. All food so fresh and juicy. Good to have then in neighborhood and support the community. Thanks Guys. Good work.

Over spiced, chaotic restaurant.. messed up one too many orders while we were there. Onky thing going for them is they are open till1AM which is why we went there cause they were the only ones open at 11 PM.

Do yourself a favor by not ordering egg biryani. I was served colored rice with couple of eggs in it. There was neither masala nor any flavor. Wont be visiting again.

Bunch of Liars. I called to see if my order was ready and They said it was being packed and ready for pick up. I get there and they tell me that my order is not ready and will take 5 more minutes. 10 minutes pass, nothing. They say 5 minutes. 30minutes pass, nothing. Then they want to ignore me as I try to get their attention. Eventually my food came out and obviously i was still very displeased. Will not order from here again

I am a big fan of Haleem and it feels like "I have found my Mecca" here at Pista House in Irving, TX. I have also been to several joints in Chicago (especially Devon Street) and thought they are golden standard. But after trying Haleem here at Pista House I realize time and again that nothing beats the great taste, flavor and meatiness of Pista House Haleem. I also savor the Paneer Kebabs and Chicken Hariali Kebabs which are second to none. I wish they open more Pista House restaurants all around North DFW. Pista House is simply the best!

I don't like the place, everyone drinking the alcohol inside the restaurant, whoever working inside the restaurant they don't cline the tables, it's so much durty, lousy service, and expensive food. I ordered Haleem; it's one of the worst haleem I ever had, I strongly recommend don't order Haleem.

Had a chicken Tikka kebab, the server accommodated my request and served with naan instead of pitta. Different flavor from what I am used to, which was nice. The server was very friendly and willing to explain the dishes and story behind their signature dish from Hyderabad Haleem, made with goat meat and cashew nuts paste.

Best chicken dum biryani ever. Please try Haleem as well, it has got authentic taste as well. For all the kids people who love indian spicy kebabs go for FIRE KEBAB. Also they offer BYOB i.e. cherry on top.

Our go-to place for take out biryani in Irving location. We like their Chicken dumplings biryani and boneless special biryani. They also sell Haleem and sweet pan in case you want to try. I've never tried Haleem but sweet pan was good.

This place bring memories of Hyderabad with some of the best Haleem and kabobs you can get anywhere in DFW metropolis. While this is not a fine dining if love good Indian food and crave for the spices from our home town .... you should visit this one. Their Paneer Kabob is absolutely delicious.

My wife and I were looking for some late night food and we were extremely surprised to find a Desi restaurant open till 01:00 am. Let just say we almost forgot the baby at home lol. The food is really good! The guy who took our order was extremely nice! His prices are really reasonable and the restaurant vibe reminds me of my time back home.

Tiny place but good food. Haleem is not made fresh everyday (not practical),however they maintain the good taste somehow. If you wish to take the Haleem with you (to go/pickup order) to a different city, ask them not to heat it up and pack it cold, as heating it up more than once alters the taste.

There must be 0 starts ... I have ordered Kadai Paneer .. they have mixed fried onions with Paneer... after first dip i felt i am eating just onions ... This restaurant chain is spoiling the name of Prestigious Pista House.. Looks like Biryani Masala comes from Hyderabad... so thinking biryani should be little better. .. never ever going to visit this place again... terrible waste of money...

They generally have good biriyani but once they gave me a foul family pack biriyani which made me sick the next day and that's when I noticed that the biriyani had a foul smell. I called up the restaurant but instead of admitting their mistake, they just said that they only serve good biriyanis and didn't make any amends ( I didn't demand any amends being a gentleman, but the restaurant didn't offer any and they just stuck to their version). I had to throw out the rest of biriyani ( family pack which costs $40) Very unprofessional, you just lost a regular customer.

Ordered couple of biryanis once and told them specifically it is for consumption after flight. Opened the package just after a few hrs of packing, it started to smell rotten. They probably have sold the food from previous day, it can’t go bad so quickly. Waste of money

The Hyd Dum Biryani was really good. I eat quite a bit of this dish from various places and this one was pretty perfect actually. Their house version of Chicken 65 was also really good. Guy taking orders was pleasant. It's good business to pay attention to your customer .. looking at you Hello India; where I'd just walked out of when the imbecile there decided to ignore me while I was asking about their food. This guy at Pista was actually handling the customers really well. 5 stars for great food, great service and stays open late. My new favorite take out joint.

I have been to so many Indian restaurants, but this place is personable because of Bharat. More than the ambience I like the way how how he handles the customer. Also the good part is that he will let the people know what the special is on that day and you will never go wrong with his choice. We group of 5 people always prefer this restaurant just because the way how we are treated. Kudos to the owner for maintaining such friendly atmosphere. Guys please try Haleem there and you can compare with Hyd Haleem and it is much better than the other. Enough said give a try for urself.

Worst biryani I ever had. I had ordered before and quality used to very good, but not anymore. Mixing rice with paneer will not make panner biryani. I called them and tried to give my feedback but the guy on the phone did not take it positively.
