This place was fantastic and we will definitely be back! We dined here for lunch for my birthday/mother's day meal since we didn't want to ACTUALLY go anywhere on mother's day. The service was prompt and polite, the bread warm and satisfying, the alcoholic beverages perfectly mixed. I had the duck tortelloni...they were simply divine! My husband was more than thrilled with his jalapeno and cilantro scampi. The fresh pasta and quality ingredients were readily apparent in everything. For dessert we had the cannoli and espresso affogato. They were well balanced, delicious, and not too sweet; the perfect end to our meal. The portions are smaller, but they are so well worth the price, in my opinion. Definitely give this place a try!

The food was ok, but definetly not worth the price. The service was great but unfortunetly the barista wasn't the best.We ordered a Mijito and it was unbalanced it tasted more like a lemonade. The Mint wasn't mollered and tasted nothing like a Mojito. Overall it was ok, but I would recommend not getting any prepared drinks there.

Reserved an outside table for 2 at 8:15. Got there at 8;00 to check in. They said they didn’t have any outside seating available so me and my husband said okay, we are 15 minutes early so we will wait a little bit. Ended up getting sat at 8:55. Ordered our drinks and waited about 20 minutes, once we got our drink they were completely wrong . Didn’t even come close to what we ordered , the manager was clueless and didn’t even know the difference between a spritzer and a whiskey and coke. Food was amazing, but everything else was not good. It’s more of a Mexican restaurant vibe which I didn’t really care for. Will definitely stick with the vintage park location.

Newly opened and fantastic service! Great for a girls night out dinner. The bread and salmon were exquisite. The kale pasta was the perfect pick for a lighter pasta. They take their own interpretation of some common sauces like the marinara which is more spicy than your regular one so I'd ask before ordering for children.

We visited Mia Bella before the a concert at the House of Blues. I was first skeptical as I have dietary restrictions and wasn't sure about the menu, but everyone serves chicken, right? I explained to our waiter my issues and he suggested the roasted chicken with no sauce and an order of the vegetables removing the butter. I was in awe that they were so accommodating! Thank you to our waiter and chef! The chicken was great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Good food, great service. They accommodated a group of 20 people attending a conference at the Hilton that had various dietary requirements and they did it in the most gracious way at a reasonable price. We had people from all over the US and Canada and they were all very pleased.

It’s a cozy place with delicious brunch items. I went with my wife around 11:30am on a Sunday before an event at the Toyota Center. There was no wait. We were served quickly by a friendly waitress. The eggs Benedict options are a solid choice but I will DEFINITELY go back to try their FRENCH TOAST. Many other diners were enjoying their French toast on our way out. The bread that comes before the meal is also DELICIOUS.

My wife and i went to brunch one saturday on an invitation from some friends and not of our choosing. I am very suspicious of "italian" restaurants in houston because of places like this so instead try to order the least italian sounding dish. I ordered the eggs benedict and was the least disappointed of the group. The others got unevenly and uncooked pasta. "cooked" vegetables that were raw. Cold potatoes.

Very good restaurant with great meal selections and great service. The bread they serve before the main courses is amazing and the spices on it and in the dip simply irresistible. We went as a group of 9 and were served quickly and met many new friends. Food was served quickly, service was great and food was amazing. Had a lot of taste, texture and at the right temperature.

Food was excellent! Had Ahi tuna and the filet. Both were really good. Waitstaff and manager very pleasant and wanted you to be happy. Was surprised that bartender didn't know how to make a White Russian. Did fix it on request. A/C was not working and it was very warm in all parts of the restaurant we went in/through.

I have never been more disappointed in the quality of food served. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and a meatball. All of it was dry and over cooked. Seemed like the food had just been sitting for 20 minutes before it got to the table. I'm not a picky eater, I'll eat anything and usually find enjoyment in it but this food I did not. I don't know how the place got good reviews, so misleading.

This review is going to be harsh and I can't even tell you if the review on the food is harsh, but trust me when I say that I didn't even enjoy my meal, so take that as you will. I decided to have my wife's birthday here because we loved the Mia Bella on Richmond. I thought it would be nice to go to a restaurant I trusted that just happened to be downtown where there are places to go to afterwards. So I made a reservation three days before and was happy that they would accommodate my party of 10 people. I know large parties are always a hassle for restaurants and I always try to be understanding because of this. However what they did was inexcusable. It was June 21st. Do you understand how hot and humid it is in Houston in the middle of June? Well their air conditioning was out. Which I ALSO understand happens to restaurants from time to time. However, I called the restaurant TWICE before I arrived to make sure that my reservation was still good. At no point, did they tell me that the restaurant's AC was out to make sure that was fine with me. I had a pregnant lady in my party! In order to not lose the business you could have placed someone AND their unborn child in real danger! How dare you? Not to mention the embarrassment that I went through with my guests! I just wanted a nice quiet dinner but they placed us in the restaurant next door with screaming and hollering coming from a loud stage. I can't believe they would do this to me and to top it off, no one mentioned any sort of apology for this. It was just a crude, "Hey the AC is out so we're going to sit you in the restaurant with the screaming flamenco ladies". I was so embarrassed and sweaty and my pregnant friend had to leave. My wife was so uncomfortable that we decided to go home instead of going out afterwards, something that I was feeling bad about since we rarely get a night out without our 1 year old. And on her birthday! I absolutely will NEVER visit this restaurant ever again and I'm even thinking about not visiting Mia Bella on Richmond either. Guilty by association and all that. Edit: Just realized I spoke with Gabriella on the phone.

The WORST service EVER! We waited an hour & a half for our food while seated at an outside table. It was freezing out and the waiter kept forgetting to bring our drinks, the appetizer bread & in the end, even forgot to put in our food order at the correct time until we reminded him, AFTER AN HOUR of ordering, we had not gotten our food. When we FINALLY got our food, we asked right away for the check and to-go boxes because we were so cold by sitting outside, we couldn't feel our hands. This group of 7 will NEVER go back.

My boyfriend and I decided to come in here because we were tired of looking for places to eat. The air conditioning seemed to not be working, which wasn’t great but we were hungry and hopeful just to eat. It was about 8 pm on a saturday night and this place was not busy at all. There were definitely more people working than customers. Still, our server waited 5 minutes just to say hi and give us some water. She left us alone another 15 minutes, talking with her coworkers, and when she managed to acknowledge us again, we told her we were ready to order and she replied with an “I’ll be back.” She then proceeded to keep on chatting with her coworkers. It was by then we decided to just get up and leave, which we have never done before. This place would’ve been tolerable if the service was at least good, but it failed to even do that.

The food is fantastic! Service is amazing! The complimentary loaf of bread was fresh with great flavor. I ordered a small salad to start. It was almost a meal in itself. I ordered eggplant parmigiana for supper. 3 large slabs of eggplant, cooked to perfection with, perhaps, not quite as much pasta as you expect; although the pasta serving was sufficient. My wife ordered off the a la carte menu, choosing linguine with eggplant. It had much more pasta, and considerably less eggplant. So, if you prefer more pasta, that's the way to go. If you prefer more of the main dish, choose a regular entree. Cannoli for dessert was the perfect way to finish the evening!

Wow! Great restaurant. Staff was super friendly and quick. Overall clean and nice looking interior. Clean restrooms. Food arrived fairly quick and everybody in my group liked it. I had a seafood lasagna which looked and tasted wonderful. Bottom of it was little bit overheated and stuck to the plate but the meal was 4.8 out of 5. Will visit again !

Ambiance was nice but the service was terrible!!! My girlfriend and I only saw our server Twice the whole night. It took them forever to come and take our order, and then we waited like an hour to receive our food and the check. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was ok. My girlfriend had the create your own pasta. After we finished eating, our server was nowhere to be found and the bartender/table busser came by the table and gave us our check. Save yourself the trip and just go to Olive Garden. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

The restaurant was very accommodating. We booked a large group on a business trip. We already had a late reservation, and then the group ran late. The restaurant still had a table ready for us and served us even though it was at the end of their hours. The sea scallops weren't the best I have had, but they were good. The service was great, although they did offer us drinks from the bar several times before they brought us a menu.

Went for Mother's day lunch and ended up having to eat brunch buffett. Cost was $38 per person to eat cold food. Service was terrible. Had to ask waiter multiple times to bring things to the table. Not alot of variety ln the buffett and items were not replinished while we were there. We were not informed of the buffett only until after we sat down and ordered drinks. Waiter did not explain anything about the buffett when takon dronk orders. DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE FOR BRUNCH.

You can DEFINITELY tell this place is under new management. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff and general manager are attentive to your experience. We came in on a Sunday for a quick beer and cheese platter and ended up chatting with the general manager for 2 hours. Mia Bella was one of the best parts of my trip to Houston and I'd recommend!

Restaurant open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Restaurants like this can be hard to find in the downtown Houston area. Went here for sunday brunch and enjoyed the meal. Prices were reasonable and food was tasty. I would come back for dinner with no hesistation.

Can't express just how awesome this place is. From the food to the staff it's all amazing.. the streak sandwich ( the waiter told me to try ) is probably the in top two best sandwich I have EVER ate. The fries I was not crazy about because I'm really picky with my food. The pizza is a knife and fork not pick up and eat by hand. It was amazing as well. Thank you for the great food and I will be coming back for more greatness.

Excellent food, and one of few outdoor patios in downtown. Restaurant is not very large and can get quite noisy inside when busy. Very nice specialty dishes, excellent pasta. You also have the option to order tapas from the spanish/maroccan restaurant next door (Andalucia) which shares the kitchen. When you combine the two menus, the choice of food is very large with plenty of options for everyone.

We loved the food however our drinks were horrible. They need a new mixologist. We advise not to order mixed drinks, very expensive and not worth it. We were shocked at how small the portions were, very pricey for what you get. AC wasn't working, seems to be an on going issue. Although we loved our plates, we all decided not a place we would necessarily go back to. Ending on a positive, the staff was very attentive and a really nice gal, who we believed was the owner, greeted and visited all the tables. She was concerned about making her guests happy.

Do not trust their Gluten Free dishes. I ordered the gluten free potato gnocchi and halfway through eating I discovered pasta in the dish. I alerted the waiter who checked with the chef and the chef said it was only gluten free pasta in the dish. I believed him and was ill the rest of the weekend. (And for anyone who is allergic to wheat knows that "ill" is putting it very mildly!!)

I can only speak to the Mother's Day Brunch. We came last year and this year We arrived around 1 pm and missed the earlier rush. All the food on the buffet (salmon, grilled shrimp, prime rib, rack of lamb, chicken picatta, pasta dishes, vegvues, salads, desserts, etc..) is high quality and very delicious and I am hard to please. Everyone was friendly and extrememly attentive. The complimentary bread and olive oil with the sweet red wine vinegar infused was delicious. Keep up the great service and food and you will continue to be blessed with your patrons. We plan to come for just dinner more often. Forgot to add that it is expensive, but worth it.

Do not use Postmates for order. We ordered to go using postmates and gave them 2 hours to complete the order. 5 minutes before the order was supposed to be delivered we got a notification that the ordered was canceled and no reason was given. We contacted the restaurant but nobody picked up. Really really unprofessional.

Excellent service, started with a fresh caesar salad , wife had the tomatoe basil soup which was also pretty good. The bread with olive oil dip was some of the best I've had. Main course was a chicken parmigiana, not the best but also not bad. For dessert the key lime pie was a definite hit . Oh I almost forgot about the moscow mule , it was really good.

The place and food were good. Parking at this location is hard to find. We went a little after weekend lunch time, so did not have to wait for a table. The bread and dip were super tasty. The appetizers were very tasty. Their potato gnocchi with basil pesto was very good and had a good portion. Pizzas were of good size too. The pista flavor in their spumoni was the best. Our waiter was polite and friendly but a little slow in taking our order but we got everything in good time. Overall a nicely priced, relaxing space for a meal.

I paid for food here and the staff literally ate it off my plate. I came here on Saturday 12/16 for dinner. I ordered a Margherita pizza. The pizza was way underdone. There was no hint of brown on the bottom, let alone any char. The sauce was also way too sweet, and the mozzarella, while fresh (better than shredded) tasted like the cheap belgioioso stuff.. After eating 3/6 soggy slices, I realized I should send it back. I asked for them to heat it in the oven for me so it would be cooked more, hoping for brown and crispy pizza. It came back slightly brown/toasted looking on the bottom, but was still soggy. The main problem was that they only gave me 2 of my 3 slices back. The waiter smiled nervously and shrugged like "i don't know what to say the cooks ate it." Don't go here, they'll steal your food.
