The weekend buffet is always delicious & has many options including the option to create your own plate. Personally, i enjoy the spicy shrimp, noodles, veggies & mushrooms. Price is a bit high but usually buffets on weekends are pricier.

I have been going to lin’s for years now, but recently their food has become cold. I went today for a good diner and while I was eating the salad I felt like something poked my tongue. It was a wire, i don’t know from where or how. I reported it to the waiter, all i got as a response was “thank you for letting us know” no apologies, nothing. It could’ve cut my mouth or done a damage to my health. For sure this is the last time I am coming to this buffet. It was good, but now they lost it.

Got there a couple of minutes before 350 for the lunch buffet and the lady that charges charged us the dinner buffet. I was like that's fine. Some plates were dirty and the glasses when filled had grease floating on top. The waitresses was very nice and that is why it is getting one star.

Much worse than the last time I was in. Poor hygiene around the toilets. No attention paid to where food pans were placed--many items mislabeled. Most of the fried food was luke warm and greasy. No attention paid by either patrons or staff to posted rule that children under eleven were not to serve themselves. Lots of staff standing around chatting ignoring drink refills and used dish removal. All in all a very poor showing.

Lots of food to choose from, and is fresh whenever I go there. I haven't seen neglected or dried out dishes in the buffet trays. Always lots of patrons, which is a good sign too! I love the food and place has a nice ambience.

My husband and I love the food but do not love the prices sometimes. They always change the pricing for the buffet and the time for early bird prices that used to be 4pm or before for $9.99, but is now 3:30pm. The sushi yessss the sushi is always amazing. They need to get more variety in their dessert bar and some new benches that don't flop over and all will be well.

This place is just what you would expect from a Chinese buffet, but they have great staff. The servers are accurate, friendly, and ready to meet your needs. Honestly the food is okay, but only because of the experience I had with multiple servers, is the only reason I continue to return.

Nice place, good variety of entries, friendly staff and very clean. Food was constantly replenished and areas wipe down. Will visit again. The only dislike was the attendant on the phone not greeting or acknowledge my presence.

My favorite Asian buffet! They have all kinds of delicious food! Only negative is the music. Would like for it to have Chinese music in the background that goes with the place just like Texas roadhouse house and Olive Garden do! Instead they put reggeton or something other kind if Spanish music SMH.

I had not been to lins in a very long time and decided to visit today. I paid 33$ for two people which I thought was decently expensive compared to other restaurants. Well on my first serving as I was trying to enjoy my food I struck an unusual item with my form, a broken burnt zip tie (picture attached). I mean, im not very picky really with my food nor do I write reviews but i have to admit this was pretty disgusting and disturbing. So as the manager kindly told me, “accidents happen”. I requested to speak to a manager who apologized in a defensive manner and when I told her, “its ok ma’am i know it is not your fault”, the lady responded by saying “i appreciate you saying that it isn’t my fault but in reality it is not anyones fault as you have to understand accidents happen”. Great customer service.. I proceeded to request a refund as obviously one would think that would be the most rational thing for a restaurant who cares for their customers would do, right? Wrong, they said they could not give me a refund but gave me a red card that said 10% discount on your next visit. I of course proceeded to tip the waiter and left the red card on the table, as I nor anyone I know will plan on visiting this place again. Please be cautious if you decide you want to visit this place, if they chose to lose a customer as oppose to issue a refund for 33$ after i found a burnt plastic on my plate, you can only imagine how they take care of their food.

Came here looking for good sushi and so did my mother. Only thing is that it was to fishy for her and she loves fish. The avacado in a few tasted past due. Some of their chicken dishes were too hard and dry or to oily to eat. Then the cook that cooks in the back for you, doesnt cook the beef all the way, leaving the meat too red in the middle for my tastes

Brought my family here while in Brownsville. Really disappointing for a Chinese buffet. Food was not fresh, sushi had no fish in it (just fake crab, and avacodo); chicken was suspect; my water tasted bad; drinks didnt get refilled timely. Lady who takes nmoney was not friendly. Waiter was pleasant, but didnt do much for us. Would not return.

Anytime i have to pay BEFORE I'm served its a red flag. I wonder, 'Is this an area of town where the threat of people walking checks exists?" Is the service habitually bad? Well the food was ok. The service, which is simply keeping my tea filled and table clean, was non-existent. I won't be back.

Been looking everywhere in Brownsville and surrounding areas for a good buffet and finally found one. Soon as u walk in u feel welcome along with the great smell of some very tasty food. The workers were very attentive and always asked if we needed anything. They have a nice selection of food for dinner and the food actually had flavor vs other buffets. Most buffets I have been to has no taste to the food but this one got it. I would recommend u chief first before u enter any buffet that way u eat more and u also get more for your money. Overall the service and food were a 10/10 and we will definitely be coming back.

Don't go an hour before closing. It's not worth it. Go earlier and this is a pretty good place. Best egg rolls I've had here and the spare ribs are great. The quality of the food entirely depends on what time of day you show up. Edited for spelling mistakes.

the rating is based on a buffet, not whether it is high end or not. Great for a Chinese buffet! Busy times are good times to go....everything was fresh from the kitchen. There were lots of great looking/tasting sushi available. Mongolian cook line was steady but not overly busy.

The waitresses r just standing around they take long to give you refills, the food was just ok nothing great. My husband and I along with r kids go out to eat a lot, maybe about 4 times a week we love to go to different places to try new things but this is not a place we would go again.
