REVIEWS OF Le Bilboquet IN Texas

Prince Houston

The meals and service were above my expectations. I surely enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant. Nice restaurant to take my family out for lunch.

John Wheatley White

I ordered the salmon with a Malbec. The food, wine, and the service seemed pretty top notch, although I did not visit on Valentine's day or even during peak hours. I imagine I would eat there again.

Lucky Luciano

It's pretty good, however if it's true french cuisine let's keep it that way! Adding texmex to the window does nothing for the experience the french would have a fit!!?

Tieg Grayson

As a regular of their location in NYC I was thrilled when I heard we got one in Dallas. This is the first place in Dallas that has me absolutely in love with their food. They have truly mastered beurre blanc sauce with their Cajun chicken. Your taste buds deserve this place!

Ms. Jones

Absolutely Miami style!

Arian Dezfoolian

I went there for brunch. Service was great and the food was amazing. Would recommend.

Jack Grant

Amazing

April Hill

A top place for tasty French food. Arrived at six, it was not packed. I will be back with my coworkers. The bill was reasonable.

I have been to Le Bilboquet twice-loved it both times. The first was for Sunday brunch-it was wonderful-my husband said it was the best eggs Benedict he has ever had (and that's a lot). The second time I went for lunch and the chef prepared an off the menu vegan plate for me-it was wonderful. A large plate of various fresh, seasoned veggies. The wine and champagne was also excellent. I love the feel of the place-it bright, intimate, and charming. Can't wait to go back for dinner soon!

Jada Powers

french food at this place - super tasty. Food was so yummy. There was quick and friendly service. It has a nice atmosphere.

Carol Faulkner

I had the grilled romaine with grilled salmon. It was superb! Good service.

Review Person

What a great time here. Amazing food, Kind service, beautiful restaurant.

Robert Benda

Always a treat! Great staff, location and menu. Our favorite for Sunday brunch!

Janet Dickinson

Certainly don't judge this restaurant by the louts who are allowed to dine here, even Ted Cruz and Donnie Trump. This is America, home of the free. Not like Trump's Christmas Party which banned an African American journalist who disagreed with Donnie's daddy and ice princess, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

Mat Berger

Loved it! Amazing all fresh food. Delicious French style cuisine. Very nice and caring staff. I particularly love the Grilled Romaine and their Dover Sole

GTCRISTIAN

We loved it. Steak, mussels, wine and dessert were amazing. Great service too.

Tommy Rivers

We WERE excited to visit this place after a friend recommended but that quickly became a mistake. The staff reeks with pretension . A kind smile is not too much to ask for. Making a face at a customer when they ask a question about the menu is not customer service, its insulting. We left mid-meal after we received another barrage of passive aggressive hostility from the staff. There are too many other places in Dallas similar to this place. Skip the visit and head over to another restaurant where you aren't treated like second class citizens.

This used to be one of our favorites. The last couple of times we did not feel the food or the service were up to par. Another couple we were with made reservations two weeks prior, and requested a table by the window. We had planned to walk to the restaurant, but the weather report cautioned 100 percent chance of rain, so we opted to drive. The hostess seated us outside (yes, it was by a window all righty!), and we mentioned the chance of rain but she said they were watching the weather. As we enjoyed our wine and ordered our meal, the wind picked up and the sky was full of lightening. We expressed our concern and were escorted to the "too tiny for 4 people" table in the back with the huge column, adjacent to the kitchen/service area. The rain came down minutes after, and all the remaining outdoor patrons were soaked. The rain came pouring through the windows, unfortunately they still failed to observe the weather. Moving on to the food, I ordered the pork chop and it was so dry and tough it was inedible. Our server was so busy with the relocated patrons, that we had no attention. We went else where for dessert and coffee.

This place is fantastic! All these mad liberals left this establishment bad reviews non-related to food five months ago. Support it for free-speech!

Emanuel Salinas

Love the brunch! Those pancakes are awesome and fluffy!

Neal Doherty

Great menu. Classic French dishes but lighter fare. Great service. I definitely recommend the escargot. Don't fill up up the delicious bread!

Shannon Michael

Loved it! Friendly staff and quality food. Atmosphere is tranquil. We visited during brunch. The pancakes were fresh with crispy sides and fluffy centers.

Jane Smith

Le Bilboquet is one of our favorite places to eat. The Cajun Chicken is especially wonderful.

Drew Davies

Great location for delicious french food. Very tasty. Really nothing but enjoyable experiences here, I'll be back.

Reece Hall

Unfortunate that there are so many reviews that have brought down the rating of this fantastic restaurant that are not related to the food. I had a wonderful experience today at lunch here and enjoyed some amazing dishes. The steak tartare had the best beef flavor of any tartare that I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend the Veal Scallopini - just freaking amazing! Nothing was bad here!

Blaine Holder

I get to eat here a lot since I work close by. I have to say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot clean at all times. Rates are affordable and they serve large portions.

Nicole Wiggs

Brunch was amazing! Ordered the eggs Norwegian....fabulous! $5 mimosas. Service was great and they did not rush a table of chatty women

David Hale Smith

Loved the shakshuka. Tried the brunch lobster roll, too. Too much butter on the bread, and oddly lots of capers and tarragon in the mayo competing with the lobster for flavor. Blueberry pancakes more like sheet cake than pancakes. Huge serving, but not great flavor. Nice servers trying hard but not professional service. Nobody knew the wine list to make a recommendation.

mary schneider

Very comfortable and people watching friendly

Donna S.

Always a celebration at bbq. Everyone is always treated kindly and dining never gets dull at le bilboquet...albeit NYC or Dallas.

Yvette Romero

Best fries and fish.

Ronan

Food was mediocre, host and waiters were off in space.

Silly Lilly

I’d say the food was pretty good, my husband would disagree, however I think what could Make it better would be a larger selection on the menu and maybe a kids menu and Keeping the food consistent, I ordered two orders of blueberry pancakes and my daughters and mine looked totally different.

Xclusive Beauty

Great customer service and excellent food!!!!

Julia Shurbet

My favorite place, reminds me of my grandmother and my mother. My Grandmother was 1/2 French and grew up on food from France and Morroco. They are both long gone and I search for their recipes all the time. I must ask the owner why he named it that. 'The cup and ball'

Jeff Schaffer

Wow. We went for Valentine's Day. The place was packed. I should have known when the menu had no prices on it. We ordered a TYPICAL nice dinner meal. Five ounce filet that was very good, and the lobster was a 1/2 inch by 4 inch long tube of I guess lobster. About four small bites. Wife got a typical size salmon. BOTH OF OUR DISHES were $85 each. What a surprise!! And now we can say goodbye to another restaurant screw job.

Riley Cole

My top spot for quality french food. The food was tasty. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Chris Swanson

My fav place for tasty french food. This place does it for me. Prices were fair.

Matt Nelson

Food is only as good as the experience, hated it! But the their politics are even more DISGUSTING!!! Do not expect privacy from this place if you go there, they like to share with the world their Anti-Americian Agenda of leftist democratic hate!

Alana Sexton

French food, yeah, excellent. I'll return with my relatives.

amr Elghusain

Excellent customer service excellent food

Mike Eubank

The food is very good. The four stars instead of five is because I personally do not like outdoor dining and our waitress was not very attentive. I highly recommend the lobster roll, but the Le Bilboquet is even better.

Hussein Bitar

Went there day before valentines. We were surprised by a fixed menu 80$ excluding drinks. reservation call 1 week prior assured us regular menu would be available (typical entree 30 to 50 dollars). Service was mediocre for a 100+ dollar bill per person. some servers didn't speak English! Server made no effort to explain menu. Wine poured with bottle dripping on the table. Napkin was such poor quality fabric it stuck to our clothes! The food was nothing exceptional. Even better they overcharged my bill by 15$! Wat the heck! Would not go there again!

Donald Casey

A consistent favorite.

VP MISSY JOHNSTON

Great food. Airy and chic atmosphere at affordable price point.

brittney Finley

Food was good. The Sunday hours and food stop at 3 and that sucks.

David A. Hall

Terrible service. Horrible desserts. Never go.again!

Luis Araujo

NYC's sister restaurant = Exquisetly French

Johnathan Perry

My preferred spot for quality French food. food with real quality ingredients. the bill won't break you. feeling here is similar to a cafe in san jose i liked.

Stewart G

Southwest eggs awesome

Joseph Oneill

I regularly come purchasing some food in this spot. I enjoyed the rapid service and well made food. Never disappointing.

Raylan George

I just enjoy their dishes. I always get fantastic customer service there. The place is well kept and the employees are always very friendly. Will come visit again.

Bradley Sammons

Terrible staff and horrible food, especially for the price

Jen Smith

November 6, 2018 is when you can make your feelings for Ted Cruz and his dining companions heard... not here. The worst thing to ever happen to this restaurant was have politicians dine there. Now Republicans and Democrats are squabbling like children and both sides leaving negative reviews. A couple of months ago I had lunch at this restaurant and the service was great and food was delicious. I met the owner and chef and they are really great people.... great people that don't deserve this foolishness.

Can P

Thanks for promoting peace and unity in Dallas. Keep up the good work!!!

Mark Leyendecker

Dinner Friday 3/16/2018 was outstanding as usual. Scallops with caviar were sublime. Limited but well chosen wine list. May I suggest the addition of a Chablis to the by the glass selections?

Bryce Ruchman

Great place for lunch. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was nice. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Dylan Potter

Ok spot for delicious french food. arrived at six, it was not packed. looking forward to coming back with my friends. the place has an awesome feel to it.

LeAna Shannon

Very good.

Jerome DP

Very refined French cuisine in a casual and trendy atmosphere, right in the heart of Knox-Anderson.

Ivelisse Escribano

Ambiance is beautiful but lacks on food. I had the lobster pasta and the angel hair felt like it was ramen, the portion was too small for the price and the lobster looked like it was canned. Thrown in pieces with a cheese sauce in it. It tasted like I was at The Cheesecake Factory which even though it was good, it’s below the standard for a restaurant like this. The salmon and broccolini had good reviews but if you’re experienced in the kitchen you can also make it at home.

Chris Hewitt

After I saw Trump Jr. and Cruz making fools of themselves and this restaurant, I don't believe I will patronize it again. When terrible people trash good people while the country deteriorates, and does so on a restaurants reputation, it really says how terrible people can become.

London Kelly

french food and the atmosphere at this spot is very good. service is always nice even when they have a full house. the bill was reasonable i would say.

Brandon McNabb

Very unique place, very classy.

Liz S

DO NOT eat here! We paid WAY more than I care to admit for mediocre food and unprofessional service! We started with the tuna tartare. Just tasted odd. For us, it was inedible. We told our waiter, as he took the barely touched appetizer away. He went, "oh, that's not good.", and walked away. We didn't see him for another half hour when he brought our entrees. My husband had the Texas ribeye. Which was unpleasantly chewy. I tried it, and have had a WAY better ribeye from Texas Roadhouse, of all places. I had the duck a l'orange. The fat was not even close to fully rendered. So basically, I had half an inch of mushy fat, NO crispy skin, and not much actual meat. Especially, for the price. The waiter was, once again, nowhere to be seen. We literally, had to wait 15 minutes to get the check. All I gotta say is, "GOOD RIDDANCE"!

Leland Shepard

Tried this place already with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I enjoyed the good atmosphere and fresh food and drinks. Keep up the good work.

Ahmad Mack

I always arrive purchasing some food in this spot. I like the speedy service and well prepared dishes. Kudos.

Mitch Tsai

Service was excellent and the food is decent. The host and wait staff are attentive and will take very good care of you! The food is put together quite nice. The flavors are just right, not overbearing. Come for the service, relaxing atmosphere, and bring a fat wallet.

Michael Simms

Great food and great service.

Andrew Gonzales

Hands down my favorite Dallas brunch and lunch spot. I've always been pleased with the food and the service: Eggs Benedict, Shashuka and the Cajun Chicken are sure bets! I've even celebrated a few birthdays here. I highly recommend!

Jennifer Rao

A Lovely, Lovely Bistro - Exquisite Grilled Shrimp Salad - Impeccable Service - Gentile Luncheons - When wishing so, Ideal Scene to Dress to the Nines - Adore!

Harry Rubio

One of my fav spots for tasty french food. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.

Carolyn Kelly

one of my fav locations for french food. visited on a thursday. reminds me of a place in new york i loved to visit.

Reed Wilcox

The best Cajun Chicken I have ever had. I am from Louisiana, so that is saying a lot. The atmosphere is very classy and elegant.

Ben Overmann

You must try brunch here—especially when the weather is nice and the patio is open. Very good Mimosas and Bellinis.

Jonathan Benefiel

Amazing food and service!

Wyatt Pearson

french food, mmm, so delicious. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It has a good interior. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.

Kelsey Hopkins

French food, delicious. I love this place, excellent food & service. The staff was friendly and observant. It has a great atmosphere. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.

Jay Narey

Their French Cajun Chicken is Legit !

John Thompson

Wonderful place, excellent service, and great food.

Chris Turner

After horribly insensitive remarks by the owner for conservative persons having a fun birthday party. I will never frequent this establishment.

Joey Pina

Great customer service

Trip Trapper

I do not recommend this French Bistro restaurant. They don't know how to cook steaks and that's a big deal where I come from. The place is a very expensive restaurant and for what it is they just don't have it all together you're mainly paying for the protein which is not a bad idea they have a good bourbon sauce but let's be honest they don't know how to cook a 14 ounce filet mignon okay most of the time when you get that steak and you cut into it it's going to be bleeding all over your daughters dress that's what happened last time. There's a really heavy set Fat manager there Forgot her name... but she's so big it looks like she's eating all the food and like the clients there aren't getting anything back but an undercooked steak that's bleeding everywhere. The managers are extremely rude and the last time I was there I was heavily discriminated and one of their Cooks tried to fight me. It was completely embarrassing that this restaurant is so unprofessional the lunches are good though but the dinners. Yeah it's just a fake show. I'm sure a lot of rich people from Holland Park go there and blow $300 on dinner but do you really want to go to a place where you have to keep sending your stake back to be recooked it's kind of embarrassing honestly they don't have any chefs they're not even Cooks I don't know what you call him kindergardens good luck I do not recommend this place at all

Abby Fender

Face restaurant in Dallas

Glen Ebay

the worse frogs legs and snails I have ever had. Please go back to France where you will feel more comfortable.

Robert Turbeville

A lot of hype for a letdown of an experience. The one night a week I get to spend with my wife was wasted on this place. Service was poor, clientele was the same, seating was worse. The fireworks display of desserts being set off next to us every 10 minutes added a wonderful sulfur overtone to our hurried dinner. Will not return.

Uhl Qnu

This is always the place for upscale dining. Never disappointed. Highly recommend. Make sure you have reservations.
