Located right in La Villita area. Alamo street. We walked in when they 1st opened. Very decorative, colorful and nice music!! Indoor seating is limited to a small area, good thing for outdoor seating!! The food is delicious!! We had just an appetizer that we shared, so good!!!! Staff is really nice and welcoming!! Kept the drinks filled. Great restaurant, check out for yourself!!

We ate at Guadalajara Grill the other night with 14 people. Our service was great. Our waiter was funny and attentive. Food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is super cute to look at. We had a great time. Thank you.

Very cozy place, a lot of interesting decor and signs to look at! We were greeted upon entering and had very sweet service. The sampler platter was equally impressive, will be returning on my next trip to San Antonio!

Terrible service, terrible food. Avoid this place, the woman who seated us and got our drink order could care less and made that clear. Such a great location for a mediocre restaurant that’s supposed to reflect San Antonio’s original Mexican cuisine.

Overpriced. Not authentic. Waitstaff was unprofessional and not prepared for a large group with advanced notice. Guacamole is great though. Just high priced for tourism.

The place was empty at peak lunch time, usually a bad sign. The service was good but then again, I was the only customer. Only one beer on draft. The food was mediocre at best. The tacos were edible but very Taco Bellish. The biggest complaint was the price. Two tacos and a beer we're $17. I am pretty sure I was ripped off. I never saw an itemized ticket, just a final bill with the amount. I am not a local but even if I lived there, I would never go back.

Entre was mediocre for the price. It would have been better to just eat on the riverwalk. They did however have excellent fresh guacamole and there sopaipillas were really good as well. Great decor!

READ BEFORE YOU GO!!! We came in with 3 adults and 2 kids. We order one margarita, two kids plates, 2 adult quesadillas and one order of fajitas, one water and 2 sodas. We saw our waiter one time when we first got there ( lady pretty sure one of the owners or something, she was VERY rude and short with us and made it seem like we were just a waste of her time and the only way we could get our server was to ask the bus boy (who also refilled our drinks and was very kind). We got our ticket and it was nearly 100$ jaw dropped. We were not rude or "needy" (we have all been servers and love giving great tips).. This was on a weekend at 2 PM and they were dead. She was on her phone sitting at the bar.. so disappointed.. never wrote a report before but I would hate to have someone end up with the same experience..

Save your money, this place is overpriced and ridiculously under served. Hostess was RUDE and her attitude was that of someone who didnt want to work. They served the smallest portions of rice and beans and the food was mediocre at best. Please keep walking and eat elsewhere.

Unfortunately our experience was just not in any way good. The food wasnt good but that's forgivable if the service is great. But no. I felt like we were treated like an annoyance. Our server was on his phone the whole time. Seemed perturbed by our presence let alone our order. The host was mo better when we asked for outdoor seating he seemed to determine we were not worthy of his time. We just wanted great flavorful food in great weather. We got not good nachos in awesome weather and garbage service. Never will I ever go here again.

At La Valitta - we stopped for lunch before shopping. Food was delicious. Service was almost ok, not quite. I think we were handed off as the shifts were changing. The interior decor alone is worth the visit. I would definitely recommend. I had the fish tacos and they were amazing.

My family felt somwhat welcomed. We were not Mexican so we got a lot of weird looks. The ceiling had some old like playing cards on it which included a number of old "sambo old negro cards" which makes you feel like their just as racist as whites. Not positive and not what I want my children to have to look at when we are eating or buying food from a resteraunt

Food was good but service was awful. They started off friendly enough, but it went down hill quickly. We sat forever with empty water glasses and no chips and salsa. Fajitas were served with no tortillas and it took several minutes to get some. We were not offered dessert, just handed the check without asking for it. We will not be back

Food, prices, staff, everything was horrible. The waiter seemed upset I'm Hispanic and didnt speak to him in Spanish. He brought my husband a plate and as he is setting it down, he is picking crusted food off of it and then lays it in front of my husband.

Went here with a friend from out of town, the food was subpar and the service was even worse. I was embarrassed that we spent almost 100 dollars to have crunchy rice and bland tacos. Plus, for having sat there for 30-40 minutes with only a single refill and my cup sat empty for half that time. The waitress acted like we were an incovenience from the moment we walked in. I will not be recommending or coming back to this restaurant.

I always try to keep an open mind when trying new places and I hardly leave reviews, but after the experience we had here I felt it necessary to share that better places are available around the corner. It was overpriced and the food wasn't worth it for a tourist area. Won't be back.

Terrible service. The waitress acted like we weren’t welcome, we came in a party of 10 and when I asked to split bill waitress put her hand right in my face and proceeded to tell me hang on like I was a child. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The were so rude that it was shocking. They hovered over my table as if I was going to steal and then I was sat right in the front by the door and the manager, the cook, and my waiter just stood there staring at me and whispering while looking right at me the whole 20 minutes I was there. I politely ate the food and asked for the check and paid so that they would calm down and realize I wasn’t going to leave without paying. Or maybe it was because I’m black.... avoid this place... seriously

I went here for a reception and the service was phenomenal. However, the food was not the best. I order some enchiladas and they did not have much flavor. The drinks were very expensive and had very little alcohol.

Worse place ever!!! They dont close at till 10pm and we arrived at 8:50 and they wouldnt sit us... I paid 10 buck for parking just to eat here and they didnt even let me go in!!!! Never coming here again the are very rude.

Cool little place a few blocks from the Alamo. The food was good, the bartender/waiter was super nice. They have inside and outside eating. It was an unusually warm day for March so we sat outside and had a great meal with a couple beers while watching people stroll by.

AMAZING cuisine, I Highly Recommend visiting. The food was portioned just right, not making you feel overly full or sluggish. The dessert was Great and the Margaritas were made to perfection! I am also pleased to say the chicken was Not Dry and was very good. We will visit again. There is also a huge party room upstairs! Great place to have gatherings, weddings, even office Christmas parties. ♡♡♡

So disappointed!! 1. The wait was of 1hr and 27 min. 2. We ordered an appetizer and it was cold. 3. We sat at the bar and we had to ask for a drink instead of them offering. 4. The kitchen staff were arguing that for a second we thought we were in Hell’s Kitchen Show! 5. The fish tacos were disgusting and soggy. 6. The Steak was over cooked and cold. The food was great. Some of the best authentic mexican/spanish food i have ever had. The service is good, so long as your bilingual. The staff speak almost no english. So i had to bounce between english and spanish the whole night

Excellent food for a reasonable price! We ordered the chicken fajita taco dinner and cheese quesadillas and we enjoyed them very much! The service was great once we got seated. I came here and ordered a soup, chicken with veggies. And a Michelada. Unfortunately, I ended up having to leave early. I've never had a great experience with taking soups home, but I asked to have it to go. I finally arrived to my destination and had a few to eat my soup. It was so GOOD. I didn't have high expectations, and I so wrong. I will be back to explore the rest of the menu. HATS OFF TO THE CHEF. Yes , service was great. And the place is an eyeful of art. I loved the atmosphere. Nice outside sitting, and friendly staff. I'm just sad I had to leave soon.
