A good value only if you’re going to eat a large amount of meat—about $30/person, all you can eat for 2 hours, includes sides but not drinks (Bottomless soft drinks are only $3). The variety of meats is impressive, but there aren’t many vegetarian options. Not recommended for those w/ sensitive respiratory systems or high anxiety: The air is full of grease and smoke, and your food is sizzling about 2 ft in front of your face. Also be prepared to leave smelling like smoke. Despite all this, it’s a delicious dining experience hard to find anywhere else around here.

With it being my first time there and not knowing what to expect, this place blew me out of the water. Servers were helpful and knowledgeable and didn't bat an eye when we said it was our first time. They walked us through everything and were very fast in bringing out orders. I think the only negative is that the tables are a bit small for 4 people but that's just my personal preference. Nothing against the restaurant. Will totally go back any day of the week and bring others too.

Great food as long as you don't burn it! This place is an all you can eat, you cook it endeavor. They have some things that you don't have to cook, but the majority of the food will be served raw and you will cook it on the grill built into your table. There's a reasonably large selection of items to order, enough to where I would take multiple visits to try them all! The service when I went was fantastic, this is my favorite Korean BBQ place to date.

This place is typically top and best of the best. However, with having to make requests for my food and drinks upwards of 3+ times and waiting 20 minutes to get it... I can't say I had such a good time tonight. The only saving grace which keeps them even at 3 stars is that I have always had amazing service with top level performance and attention every time I had been here in the past. I think it's time for a break and hit some of the surrounding restaurants.

Wait times will be long on busy days! Just a forewarning. However, once you are seated you are in for a treat. The quality of meats that you get here are awesome and the best part is that it is all you can eat. Service here is fast and efficient and the ambiance is the restaurant is great. This by far has to be my favorite kbbq restaurant in the north Texas area.

Really good food. The servers seemed like they were taking on too large of sections so it took a while for refills on water and food. Also the servers could be trained a little better on cross contamination concerns with chicken. The server cut the raw chicken that was cooking and put the utensils he used on top of the already cooked meat that was ready to eat.

Had a lot of fun here with some friends. The food was all great and it was an interesting experience and way to try new things. Our server was very helpful and tried hard to make sure we got new meats as soon as we were ready. It has a fun atmosphere and kinda feels like a night club inside. I only give 4 stars because it was not as clean as it could be. I slipped a couple times on my way back from the bathroom because the floors were so greasy.

Wow! What a wonderful restaurant! I'm definitely coming back again. Our hair stylist recommends this place to us. We love it! If you love to cook. Definitely, this is a place for you. You can eat all and everything you want for $24, kids are half price. On the weekends, I recommend to arrive before 5pm. After 5 is packed.

Great place to go for dinner. The atmosphere is loud but fun. The wait staff (Nelson) here is very helpful if it's your first visit. Tons of meats to order from.... they just keep coming and coming! It's definitely worth the flat price they charge. This place is in a very busy shopping center, and parking although there is a lot of it, was hard to find. Be sure to make reservations or you might not get a table. There were people lined up outside waiting for a table to open up. The place Is very sheik and fast paced. The drink menu is extensive, but my fave was the peach mule. I gave them 5 stars because it's definitely a fun experience, you leave stuffed, and you get to cook your own food to your liking. This place is very popular and I can see why. Tons of high energy and fun place to go with friends. I looked around for couples on dates but it looked more like groups. If you're looking for a quiet place maybe try another place. They like to sing loud to birthday guests. ☺ Fun fun fun!

Great protein options! The sides were a little lack luster but over all, I recommend and would go back. Come hungry because there's so many things to try. I suggest peeling the shrimp before you cook it because it's super hard to peel after it's cooked.

Man this BBQ house is awesome. The restaurant looks lit and the service is great. The price is reasonable considering the amount and so many types of meats you can get for BBQ. Staff were really nice, they made sure the grill plates were changed every now and the meats were marinated so well. Its all so delicious. I would definitely visit there again very soon. And ofcourse, Sake was worth mentioning. It was an awesome experience.

Let me just say this, service was one of the best! Usually ALL YOU CAN EAT places, servers aren’t that attentive but this was a different experience. We had two servers taking care of us so that was a plus! Food was decent. I wouldn’t say they used the freshest of meat or the highest quality but not too shabby. Certain appetizers came out cold like the chicken nuggets and calamari.. so that was odd. I just took those and threw it on the grill. The restaurant itself is huge! But they also get crazy packed! When we arrived, there were only a few tables but by the time we were done eating, it was a full house! Can’t wait until they open a location in Houston!

My favorite all you can korean bbq in Dallas. They have a wide variety of meat dishes but their Kalbi and beef brisket are my favorite. You can also get soups as well. This place is huge but almost always has a waiting list. If you are carpooling with a friend, i recommend you drop one person off first to join the waitlist while the other person finds parking. This will save you time. Highly recommended. I always crave this place when I am in Dallas

Big but fast serving with diligent staffs! It’s ALL YOU CAN EAT and Korean style BBQ restaurant. Very active and fast servers so they will be active whatever you expect what will happen next. All staffs are ready to serve and move tirelessly back and forth. They seemed disciplined like systematic action! All orders were done by staffs portable devices and sent to kitchen in real time. All meats were delivered in timely manner well in general but I had to wait long because long waiting queue from concurrent orders. Ok let’s talk about quality. Let’s not expect USDA prime Angus quality of meats! It just good enough to beat dinner price $24.99. However it will be still good choice because unlimited and way very many kinds of items including side dishes if you are starving a lot. Last, there’s an extra charging fee $5 as a penalty if you have leftover but it doesn’t seem to happen actually.

Very good for the area but not the best. It's definitely popping in here so you may need a reservation. If you want to drink and get wild while enjoying Korean BBQ though this is probably the best place. I took my friend here who'd never had Korean BBQ before and he loved it!

This place was SO GOOD. While you expect the quality to suffer because it is all you can eat the meat, the food surprised me. The meat was fresh and was marinated really well and as a result tasted great. I can't wait for it to come to Katy and I hope it's better than Dallas Gen. If not, I will still be happy to drive to Dallas just to go here. It was that worth it.

Super cool place and our server "Johnny" was on top of everything. We came in from out of town and were a bit hesitant at the $25 a head price but imo worth every penny. I got to cook my steak JUST how i like it (hard to get a good rare steak) and they kept em coming almost faster than we could eat it. I like the noisy atmosphere, I think it brings life to a place. All the servers were in a good mood and having random people drop piles of food at your table is just awesome. We even cooked some noodles and made a big mess, we all had a laugh and server got a new grill super quick (even laughed with us). Very cool joint.

I’ve gone to the establishment several times, and usually good service and good food. Went for my birthday today, ended up having terrible service, where server was unavailable most of the time and talking to other workers against the wall instead of attending. Ended up getting assisted by five other attendants that usually do cleanup or delivery. Spoke to both the assistant manager and the manager, of which neither really cared about our complaints. Was planning on bringing the employees and friends to establishment, but in order for them to gain and additional six dollars, they’ve lost out on thousands. Management needs to learn about customer service. Our business will go to Ari restaurant instead.

Excellent food and excellent service. I would recommend getting there early as parking can be difficult and the wait time for a table can be an hour easily. Fairly expensive but it is worth it for the food and the service. Also, if you don’t know where to start ask your server. Ours gave fantastic recommendation. This is not a quick meal, but it is perfect to share with friends and family.

This is my favorite restaurant to eat at! It's a fun experience and great for birthdays, anniversaries and other events. Every meat is divine, but my fav is the spicey pork. They change out the grill consistently and they don't make you feel bad when you ask for more. The inside is beautiful, clean and cozy and the waiters are all lovely people. Go!! Do it!

This place offers a huge variety of different meat options, at the all you can eat price of $24.99 for adults at dinner (dinner price is all day on the weekends) and $16.99 for lunch! The staff is super helpful and attentive throughout your meal, always asking if you need something and coming to replace the grill top. I would say my only complaint is that the music is super loud, but it's a has a friendly atmosphere.

I've been here every time I come to visit friends and it's always good. The yogurt soju and wine pork belly are amazing and I highly recommend them. Staff are friendly and the place is very clean and has beautiful modern decor. We always cook our own meat but they do offer to help cook for you.

This place was awesome! Went with my boyfriend and his parents, it was his parent’s first time. Every time they come to the city (they are farmers from OK) he likes to take them to places they can’t go to in their small town. They enjoyed it! Our server (I think his name was Nhat) was fantastic! He suggested things that weren’t too crazy that they would enjoy and explained everything to us. He was super patient and didn’t disappoint, everything was delicious! Definitely recommend this place!

The 37 entres listed on the dinner menu was a tad over whelming and the eat all you want and order as many different entrees you want in a span of 2 hours is an interesting concept. We began with traditional favorites of beef bulgogi and kal-bi short ribs followed by spicy prawns, pork belly in garlic sauce, sweet spiced chicken and more. Food was in perfect tasting portions which made it easy to try different items or make mental notes to return at a latter time and try more. What made this experience was our server who was patient, knowledgeable, super friendly and most attentive. Not only did he do an excellent job changing out the table top grills but he offered great suggestions on what to order and how we properly cook eat item ordered. Noticed several tofu options so this place can accommodate both carnivores and vegetarians.

This place was pretty good. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded with lots of big parties. Took us maybe 15-20 min to be seated. You get lots of little bowls that are appetizers, and can choose up to four meats at a time to bring to the table. You also get a bowl of rice with it. This all costs you about $25. Your drink is not included. I thought it was good. However, maybe I cooked the meat too long...I don't know, but the different meats ended up just tasting the same to me. So I was disappointed by that, and we got quite a few different meats. Still a nice place though.

I read this on their website and was immediately put off. “2 hour limit. Entire party must order same menu. Without exception, all guests who are seated at a table will be charged in full (vegetarian guest included). Offer valid for dine-in only, no to-go orders. All food must be consumed at the restaurant: left overs cannot be taken home. Extra charges will be applied to unfinished food. No outside food or drinks allowed.” After visiting this place I actually enjoyed the experience but not for the price. $24.99 per person no matter the age. A 6 year old at our table didn’t even touch the food. 24.99 and we still have to cook our own food, and we can’t have any to-go. 24.99 and we get charged extra for any food not eaten?? A person at our table ordered a drink and received the wrong drink priced at $50.00. Again, I enjoyed this place, the staff was kind, diverse, helpful and laid back. The food is great if you know how to cook it. The price and rules are unreasonable and outrageous. I’d be ok with 15.00 per person and being able to take any leftovers you did not finish but other than that this place is not worth it.

This is my first time trying a Korean BBQ. So wanted to go to the best in town . This place is pretty cool , nice ambience. Service is fast and they even help you to figer it all if you have any questions . Your will be seated and asked to pick your meat choices. It's 4 meat choices a time . You can repeat it as many times as you can for the next 2 hours Yes, it's a 2 hour all you can eat buffet. They will change the grill top in a timely manner , to avoid blackening. They are very good at this . Lunch till 3 pm, consists of around 28 varities, while Dinner has around 36 . Drinks extra. Desert were not served, so I guess it's extra also . Anyways it was a very very good experience Will go again.

Food was delicious, our go too was Jin Korean in Arlington but the meat here was simply better quality. I do appreciate the sides at Jin like the kimchi fried rice. But the meat is the main attraction here and boy was it tasty. The short ribs are to die for. The spicy pork belly was another favorite. Service was great and our waiter was on top of things. Price was the same as Jin for dinner at 25$. We will definitely be back soon.

Went for the first time as a group of five. The experience was good, the food wonderful, and workers really helpful for us being newcomers there. However, upon leaving my group was confronted directly by our waiter who proceeded to make a big scene about the tip, saying it wasn't satisfactory. I get it, you want direct feedback to improve, but if you jump someone in front of there full party, and the other customers, and make a big scene you're not going to get them to let you explain the bill and possibly offer more money. It wasn't a short stop either, but a long, lingering, pry for more money. Sorry, not a way to persuade someone as to why you think they owe you more money than they're already choosing to give you.

My family and I have been wanting to try Korean BBQ but couldn't decide where to go. A few people we knew recommended this place and they were right it was amazing!!! The food was super delicious, totally recommend the Hawaiian Steak, Beef and Spicy Pork Bulgogi, and Honey Chicken. The atmosphere was surprisingly calm as well. We were expecting loud music since places like this are very loud and cant really hear ourselves and when we talk to people, but nonetheless, it was very relaxing. The service was great as well, Nelson is a great waiter, customer service was on point, very informative, and gave us meat recommendations to eat when we couldn't decide. Overall, it was such a great experience and I would definitely come back here in the future!!

Me and my date walked up to make a reservation for 2 on valentines day. This was very last minute, otherwise I would have planned ahead with a reservation. We were told that the wait would be around 35 minutes which seemed like reasonable amount of time to wait. After waiting 35 minutes, I then asked for the remaining time till we were to be seated. I was told 25 more minutes. Frustrated that the estimate was given to me incorrectly and that it was valentines day, I bit my tongue and was understanding about the situation. After waiting 25 more minutes, I once again asked for the remaining wait time and the male hostess told me 30 more minutes. I left and will not ever eat at this place after wasting a full hour of me and my dates' time. I didn't get an apology, the young man wouldn't even look me in the eye to acknowledge the wrong doing. If I was told up front that my wait time was 1.5 hours then I would have said thanks anyways and left. Shame on this place.

Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get ($25 per person, 2 hours to order and eat as much as you want with three orders at a time per table-- just be sure not to order more than you'll eat, as that may result in a fee.) I wish I could go there every week, because I find myself craving this place daily.

Delicious and fresh food. This was the first time I had Korean BBQ. I liked the whole concept of cooking and eating together with friends and family. There was a wait of 40 minutes, on a Friday night. But well worth it. It was expensive, so not somewhere that I would go regularly. The price was $24.99 per person for dinner. Lunch is much cheaper at $16.99 per person. Maybe I would try that someday.

First time going here and the place was amazing. It was a Friday night during dinner time and the place was packed, yet, the service was still so fast - there was no wait. Constantly had our grill changed out and we never seemed to run out of food to cook. Wonderful energetic vibe. Lots of different types of options with many variations of pork, chicken, beef/steak. Always get the beef bulgogi at least once, you won't regret it!

Came off as standoff-ish/incapable at times. I understand that there is a lot going on but it was very frustrating being told 20 minutes and it's being another 50 or 10. The accuracy for wait times needs to be greatly improved, I was told 50 minutes at most and ended up having to wait an hour and 45 minutes (Totally redundant with my last sentence but needs to be addressed) . I saw many people come in after us and get seats almost immediately or before us. I understand it's my fault for waiting, but with the amount of hype surrounding this place I had to see for myself. System sucks. This could be remedied with an online reservation system and text updates. I can see this only improving business. I loved my experience overall. Compared to other places, the grills seemed to be set hotter than most, as the meat would stick faster than expected. Once I got the hang of it the meats kept flowing. The Spicy Pork Bulgogi is to die for and the Hawaiian Bacon is a must. Personally I dont think the shrimp is worth it as it comes whole, ligaments and all, and is a little bit of a pain to de-shell and eat. It was still delicious though, just a hassle. Also the Soju seems to be watered down but hell I still drank every drop. Groups will love this place. The perfect date destination. I'd love to give a special shout out to Nhat, he was very attentive and helpful, giving us great suggestions and changing our grill top the second it had burned on meat. I can only see this guy doing his hardest. I cannot wait to come back and fill up! Thank you for a wonderful experience! (Heh, wait time)

There was a 30 minute wait but that’s to be expected on a Saturday night in the Dallas area. You choose 4 different types of meat at a time and we went thru 3 rounds of meat. It was all delicious and definitely worth the $26 per person. Staff was also great and very attentive even with how busy the restaurant was.

It's good for people who prefer all kinds of meat. We did not like much as it was difficult to cook ourselves and there are not much options for sea food and chicken. However, service was good and people are nice. Please avoid it if you are too much hungry..

We had such a great time. Staff were friendly and very helpful. This is a buffet style restaurant. Most of our meats were brought together and we all shared. One thing I noticed was that they regularly change the grill but not the utensils. I would ask for two sets of utensils one for raw meats and the other to serve.

Some of the BEST Korean BBQ I've ever had. The meat just has this nice fresh quality about it compared to others I've been to. Also the atmosphere is fun and trendy. It's sort of club like the way it looks...low lights with neon blue lights. The place is pretty big too. I've never had a very long weight which is a plus. Every waiter I've ever had here is very nice and very helpful especially if it's your first time they'll get you started on what is popular and delicious. You get a 2 hour limit which is enough to stuff yourself with plenty of meat. Family friendly and group friendly and super fun!

The food, service, atmosphere and everything else was great in this restaurant. Quality meats. Lots of good Korean sides. There's just one down side. I asked if they had lettuce wraps for the BBQ, since that's standard in any korean BBQ place, and they said they didn't serve lettuce wraps. I've been to many Korean BBQ places since I can't count em all anymore. And This is the very first Korean BBQ joint I've been to that didn't serve lettuce wraps. Hence, why I'm giving this a four star. Could've been a 5 though.

I have been here several times before and had great service and delicious foods. The waits have never been terribly long and service is quick, which sometimes I am surprised because they are often quite busy. I don't know much about meats, I'm no connoisseur or anything but it's pretty good if you know how to cook it correctly. The service is outstanding, when I went the most recent time (I'm sitting in the restaurant) the waiters always come along at a good time and have everything taken care of in a quick and good service way. (If that makes sense) Anyway if you haven't got my point already, this is the best Korean BBQ place around and I totally recommend it 11/10.

Great date spot. Highly recommended for meat lovers. Go when you are HUNGRY! Pro tips: 1) Go during LUNCH time. The cost per person at lunch (before 3pm) is currently $16 versus $24 at dinner (after 3pm). 2) Ask for HALF orders of the meat you order. Some of the meats have large amounts (such as the wine marinated pork belly - yum), whereas others are quite small per order (like the shrimp). If you order a meat and don't eat it, they charge you extra for the waste. (Exception: If you don't like the meat selection, they don't charge you.) 3) Be prepared to cook your own food. It's awesome! This is one of the best parts of the experience in my opinion... It makes dinner become an activity as well as a meal. :) Honestly, it seems like there's no, "wrong" way to cook the BBQ... if it's overcooked, you'll know it, and then the next round of meat you can lessen the time. Have fun with this! 4) Bring friends! If I could go back, I would bring more people with me so that we could try more of the different meat options (you can try 4 at a time, unlimited amounts for 2 hours). When I went, there were only two of us, and we filled up after the first round of four. Having friends with you means that you can have just a couple of pieces of each meat to try, and try more selections (they have 27 meat options on the lunch menu).

If you are hungry and craving for meats, this is the place! It’s a Korean bbq buffet with at least 20-25 selections on meats, shrimp, calamari, and a few veggie plates. Knocked down 1 star because greasy floors so be careful you may slip. Also, their grill may be weak because it took a lot longer to cook meats compared to other korean bbq places I’ve been to.

Came out to enjoy time with a group of co workers from PA moving or thinking of moving down to Plano and we really enjoyed ourselves Waitstaff was great, food was great, but after we had 6 people with 5 different bills in mind the waitress tells us only a two card limit or cash. Management came over and said it was hosts job to tell us that and that didn't happen so orginally just apologized and said it is what it is. After I said it will effect me rating them he came back and split it with 4 cards which still was confusing and left me paying for a coworker and that co worker having to pay me back later. Kind of dampened the evening and fun left feeling alot worse off but I will give 3 stars for the beginning of the evening -2 stars for not making it right when your employee didn't explain the rules and telling us it's on the menu even.

First of all, this place is probably one of the best places to hang out with friends and have a drink. However, although it is unlimited, you have 2 hours to eat which doesn't really matter because you are full by the end but the meats sometimes take excruciatingly long to come out or don't come out at all which is disappointing. The bulgogi and pork belly are good as other items are, but some meats are really bad. The squid steak was basically eating an eraser. But the atmosphere is really good for hanging out with friends and talking. Would recommend to a group of people probably over 3 people but it's not great for a single person or a date in my opinion. There's much better restaurants in the area for that. Not a bad place but could be better.

Such a fun experience! I was looking for places like this and it was recommended by a friend. All you can eat and they mean it! We were able to try so many different meats and experiment with multiple combos. The staff was great and quickly changed our burner grates and also refilled our drinks in a timely manner. The mean cost about $26 per person which is about right for the food amount and experience you receive. The restaurant had an night club vibe with the blue lights and music. Definitely a fun place to go out on a date or take a group of friends and now it's a party. Highly recommend to others.

This place gets busy fast, so probably best to make a reservation! This was the first time I’ve ever gone to a place to have Korean bbq and it’s was exactly the best experience. Me and my fiancé were on a date and were seated after a 25 minute wait across from each other joined up to a table filled with Homecoming freshman’s from high school. I honestly could not hear my fiancé talking across from each other at all and the smoke and noise put me off just a bit on top of it. Thankfully our server was able to seat us in a different area with a booth where we were able to sit next to each other. Being new toward this style of food, I didn’t know you had to cook the food yourself which was a big surprise(should have definitely read the reviews). The service though, was pretty great, and our server was awesome! But be forewarned... this may not be the right place to take a first date unless you really want to get to know the other person on a really personal level

At first I wasn't quite sold on Gen Korean BBQ House, as my experience with Korean BBQ was quite different in South Florida. However, the more times we've gone, the more I truly enjoyed the experience. Just be mindful of how much you order after your first order, your eyes may order more than your stomach can handle. You can always order half portions. The service has been good most times and great other times. The one thing this place has over some of the other is the quality of their meats, it's really great.

This is a good place to hang out with your friends or family. Unfortunately, they don't allow making reservations if it's under 10 people. We were 7 people and got squished to a booth for 4 people with 1 grill, and it was soooo uncomfortable. We asked our server to move us to another table but he didn't know what to do. Luckily, another server came and she moved us to a bigger table with 2 grills. Another downside is that this place is too busy, that it takes forever to get your order, and they always forget at least 1 order so you have to keep ordering it until it comes out.
