You want a great burger and awesome cheese fries? This is it. A great half pound burger no matter what type you choose. Skip big Texan and come here. The prices are quite reasonable and they do take credit now, even though their site says otherwise.

The burgers are HUGE and the fries are huge as well. They were messy but good. The fries were kinda dry but I think it's because we were sitting right under a fan. She said that we could do 1/2 fries and half onion rings if we wanted.

Great burgers, yummy fries, fun hole in the wall atmosphere. BIG portions. 2 people could share a burger and fries! Also now accepts credit cards. Prices ok. Green chili fries were delicious but $7 and too much for 2 people! Would feed a table of 4! Good service, friendly waiters.

Food is good...service needs a BIG makeover. Ordered onion rings and a burger. Onion rings were out in 1-2 min. (Were they already cooked and heated up?...from the looks, I think so.) The burger took the normal 10 min or so, but the onion rings were cold by then. When asked how everything was, I commented to the waitress that “the onion rings came out too early to be eaten with the burger.” She responded, “Well, some people like them early...”, turned around and walked away. She came back only to drop off my $16+ bill (burger, rings, and water). In my opinion...Rudeness like this is not worth the burger. The last photo is a dead bug on the paint peeling window sill, just inches from the table top where I was eating. Not very appetizing.

We decided to meet my brother for dinner. After checking reviews, we decided on Coyote Bluff Cafe. When we got there, we were surprised at how small it was. We stepped inside and saw that was super cute inside with cool decor. We both got the red chili cheeseburger and split the onion ring/french fries basket. The burgers are huge. They're 1/2 lb. I cut mine in less than half and took the rest back to the hotel for my husband. I can say it was just as good when I got it to him. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also great. I'd highly recommend this place if you're in town and need a bite to eat.

Absolutely a must if you love amazing burgers. This is the third time we have gone while driving through Amarillo. Only down side no high chairs. Still worth it. I went with my 5 month old I held him while daddy ate then he held him while I did.

Great food at a reasonable price; they definitely do not hold back when it comes to toppings. Downside is that the service has been getting nothing short of arrogant and horrendous lately. I used to love bringing guests here and after four years of frequent visits I had the most ridiculous experience of a waitress turning in the order for half of the table, being extremely unapologetic, and randomly cutting people off after one beer at 5pm in the afternoon because she felt she was being "called out". Reached out to the owner to leave feedback, never heard back. I think this is a classic case of small business getting a little too comfortable and forgetting about their roots in customer service and appreciation.

Driving through on a road trip to Indiana and could not have picked a better stop for dinner. The whole place had a wonderful, homey vibe, and the waitstaff was the best I've had in years. They were super patient with us as I was by myself with 3 young kids, and made wonderful food recommendations. We ended up with the Old Fashioned cheeseburger, green chile burger and chicken tenders with onion rings and french fries and with fried pickles as our appetizer. All were fantastic, but the green Chile nurger and fried pickles were to die for! Skip the chain restaurants if you're in Amarillo, and give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing as always! The French fries possess magical properties. To discover these properties you must inhale one of these fine burgers and eat until you can't eat another bite and you are so full you want to pop. Relax for a minute, squish side to side, then eat some fries. This process somehow makes you able to eat more than you can imagine. Luckily you're already at the best burger joint in town.

I have been here numerous times when traveling through the area. The ribeye was not real good but they have one of the best burgers in Amarillo. The cheese fries with green chilies are also top notch. All of the orders are generously sized and the service has always been very good.

Unbelievable, I feel disrespected and discriminated. Our family eats here all the time and have made pick up orders for years but on 12/27/18 @ 6:30 p.m. we were denied this service. I work from 3 to 3 and i have my wife pick me up food all the time from establishments such as Golden Light , Home Plate Diner, Hummers etc. We don't carry cash because we feel safer using our debit cards so I usually pay for the food over the phone so that my wife(who just had our baby 9 days ago,12/18/18 which was stated while on the phone to this"establishment") can simply pick up the food and leave without any hassle , as she hasn't got used to the baby's schedule. After I finish my order I inform them I am going to pay over the phone, something I have done MANY times with this exact place, they tell me to hold on so they can ask their boss? No big deal, maybe she'd new, idk. She comes back to the phone and starts with " it's nothing against you, my boss just doesn't feel comfortable with that right now??" She said "we just got this new credit card machine and my boss just doesn't feel comfortable doing it over the phone, we'd like you to just bring the card in." I inform her that I am working and again that my wife is picking up our food, I have the card with me or she would have been the one calling making the order?? Again she starts with "like I said it's nothing against you, credit cards are just being stolen all the time and my boss would just rather you bring it in person since we just got this machine???" If you have a brand new machine , to anybody tech savvy that would be the perfect grounds to use it, but instead of further contesting I just let them know that I was very disappointed in their business and that I have are there many times but never had any complication. I have a high social status and I will inform my connections and social platforms that this business is to be avoided. Now I have a hangry wife at home wanting food, while I'm at work using valuable time. Unless you want to be disappointed and discriminated I'd stay from here.

Not impressed! Even tho the burger has good flavor...onions are not grilled, cheese is over bearing, bacon was so hard could not bite it. Burgers are now $7, Bacon Chz burger $10. Fries are separate charge. Fries/onion rings brought out 10 minutes before burgers, so they are cold when you get your burger! Or you fill up on them cause you want to eat them hot! And have less room for burger. Onions are good sweet onions so I do recommend onion rings! Sweet tea was great also! Hotter than hell burger was not spicy hot at all according to my friend. Small place in need of repairs, so you'd think with high volume of customers this place could afford to repair a few boards on the outside seating area while you wait for a table inside!!!! Dont care much for greedy business owners that don't take care of their money makers (customers) !!!! $30.00 for 2 burgers and fries with 1 sweet tea. Pricey

Very good food my waitress Victoria was awesome and very nice and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Barely any wait time between ordering and receiving my food. Easily accessible has a ramp for wheelchairs. Overall a great place to dine alone or with friends.

We were on our way back from red river to Okla. Planned to eat here as we have read about it on the internet. It is a small building with a good selection of food and drinks. The hamburgers, bacon burgers, chili cheese fries and steaks are awesome, they do have limited hours and days so definately check your times and day to make sure they are open. We plan to go there again when going through amarillo was great.

Everything was better than I remembered since I came for the first time in 2009. It’s always on my list if we ever go on a road trip. Our waitress was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The burger was huge and cooked perfectly. Don’t skip on the cheese fries.

The burgers that the group had were all delicious. Some of the more adventurous tried the spicy burger, that I think they regretted. I had the bacon burger with fries and a couple of beers. They were some of the juiciest burgers I have had in a while.

This place is the real deal. A 'hole in the wall' with friendly staff with the full on attitude of a burger joint. Excellent fries and wings. Burgers were good, grilled jalepenos really hit the spot. I talked myself out the spicy burger from hell, but the waitress brought me jalepenos even though I forgot to order them. Kept the drinks full, and was friendly to boot. Would come back.

In the midst of a town that has every appearance of having died a painful death twenty years ago sits the greatest place on Earth to get a burger. Lets talk about those fries; no side dish ladies and gentlemen....the plate of fries was enjoyed by four adults and three kids and we still had some left on the plate. I had the chili cheese burger- excellent meat, cooked right with fresh veggies piled high. My companion noted the texture of the meat being excellent. My daughter still speaks of the size of the gravy dish provided for her chicken. I leave full and happy. Nice work!

Coyote Bluff is small but they have really good burgers and really good food. The wait was not too long and we had gotten there right in the middle of lunch hour. Parking is tight but in a lot of cases that's because the seating area is so small. My wife had the hell burger and she loved it, I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was amazing. We shared the chili cheese fries and those too were terrific.

Amazing place! A tiny little hole in the wall place, but an incredible vibe. The burgers were fantastic. Onion rings were great too. Fantastic service. Took my teenaged girls and my 8 year old and they all LOVED it. Just a really fun experience. Update. We stopped back in again in March 2019. Just as good as before. They take credit cards now which is nice. Same great food and atmosphere.

Prices on web are NOT the real prices. Burgers are $10 + $2 French Fries + $2.50 tea and they ONLY take cash. So knowing all that up front, these are absolutely the very best burgers! No skimping here. Huge beef patty, tons of lettuce and cheese and grilled onions. The fries are skinny and crispy, very good as well. This place is small. When I say small I mean 10 tables inside. And it gets crowded near lunchtime. We called in our order and ate it there, waitress was not happy and said she'd "let us" do it this one time...Really?? But nevertheless, the burger was really good. So go try it!

This place, small, kinda dirty, and not impressive physically , is nevertheless an amazing restaurant. Their chilly cheese fries are unbelievable!!!’ Crispy and soft and cheesy and so tasty!!!! They were so delicious!!! Then the Burger from Hell. So big and juicy. Not unbelievably spicy but still very hot, to which they bring you two big glasses of water, and I would have had them had I not been so full!!! Highly Recommended!!!
