Worst place I've ever been to. The restaurant is so dirty and the food did not have any flavor. The only good thing the waitress kept filling up my water glass. I wonder how they pass their HEALTH INSPECTION. Many years ago it used to be great. It sure has gone down bad.

This place was busy, and that's a great sign, especially for a buffet. The selection was expansive, but the steak tasted like it came from a dairy cow. I remember the steaks being a whole lot better a few years back. Chicken (lemon, sesame, and the spicier "general's") was constantly being refilled during our visit, naturally since it was a real busy time, so that was always fresh and awesome. Pizza? Don't go to a Chinese buffet for pizza. It's only there for the kids that don't know what any of the other stuff is, and it's always stale, soggy, microwaved dollar-store quality fare. I don't knock the place for serving it because it keeps the snot-fingered little degenerate kids away from contaminating the real food. Decent selection of desserts, highlight here is the hand-dip ice cream. Again, watch out for those snot-fingered kids with parents that don't mind their little mongrels. I haven't been to a Chinese buffet in a while, but it seems like I remember spending the same amount for a dinner buffet but we were there during lunch. I know prices go up over time, but this was dinner pricing in the middle of the day. The made-to-order steaks would have made up for the upcharge if they were a better quality beef, but gristle and just bland flavor took care of that. Would I go back? Maybe. Would I plan ahead of time to go there again? Probably not. The steaks were kind of a selling point for me, and this last time I was there the ball was clearly dropped in that department.

Im only giving 2 stars because the waitress was a 6 star waitress. Never empty cups, very sweet, very attentive. If only your food matched the service. Definitely not woeth 34$ for 2 people

Excellent customer service and the food was delicious ! The steak was beyond delicious ! Thank you to our server Armando. The best customer service I have had in a long time . Our table was clean all the time , drinks were always full ! Was very attentive ! But mostly I enjoyed how he was super friendly to all his tables and everyone seemed very content with his service. Our favorite restaurant in San Antonio! Every time we visit our friends in San Antonio we MUST go to Chopsticks, or else it was an inconclusive visit. We love the food and the servers. This time it was Maribel, she was very attentive and friendly. Definitely a must-try for Chinese food and general food lovers alike. Maribel deserves a recognition!

Just ate with my husband at Chopsticks after it was recommended by several people. The food is amazing! Loved the fried rice, the bourbon chicken, the ribs... Everything! It is very organized and ready for many people. Plus, our server Maribel was very sweet and had great charisma! Definitely coming back!

I have been to alot of buffets in San Antonio and chopsticks is by far my favorite. Every time I go I make sure to go and get a steak from Vincent. It's great that they have a grill cook that actually knows how to cook a steak the way you like and be able to do so even when they're busy.

My family & I LOVED Chopsticks! It's unlike any Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet we've ever been to because of the huge selection & variety of food, including a grill with made to order steak & other meats. What surprised us most, is all the sushi that's available. In my opinion, it's worth a visit for that alone. The food was delicious & the staff was great. Our waitress said the dinner selection is even better with lots of additional seafood choices. It might be worth a 20 hour drive back to San Antonio just to try that! They get really busy so get there early & plan to wait. We got there about 3pm & still had a 20 minute wait.

Sunny is the best server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He goes above and beyond, above and beyond, he treats us like family and always greets us with a hug and a smile. I recommend this restaurant and please ask for Sunny, he works Friday to Tuesday. So pleasant to come here when we can.

Among the Chinese super buffets !! The best !! The food is restocked instantly and taste is amazing !! Have been to other Chinese buffet and this is the best I have ever gone to, in San Antonio. More than worth the price. Plenty of meat options and loaded with sweets. Ice cream and cakes were very tasty. Chicken, pork ribs, beef steak, shrimp fried rice, salmon !! Everything is there !! Made my first time experience at this buffet so incredible during my family vacation we came back again for dinner the next day ! Finding a new place. This was a frequent stop (once a week) for our family but this birthday thing they got going on is annoying and rude. The gong isn't a nice one with a smooth resonance. It sounds just like when a kid grabs the lid off a trash can and marches around beating it with a busted off tree branch. None of us enjoyed our meal and left tense, irritated that we wasted time and money going there and sporting headaches.

Ambiance: you know that feeling you get when putting on bowling shoes? That’s what it’s like walking in to this place. The customers: Rude, horrible to look at, and FAT! Texas fat! Super sweet tea fat! Breath heavy standing still fat! Staff: very nice, no complaints. Food: AMAZING! Superb selection especially the desserts! Always fresh, and hot! Been going to this restaurant for over 8 years. The food is still really enjoyable, there's a lot variety, from fried foods to chinese food to steaks! As far as I can remember the place has always been packed but you don't really way too long to get seated. Only thing I've noticed is that the place always seems to be messy; floors seems like it needs to be properly cleaned and the tables need proper sanitation after each guest, since it gets so busy.

All you can eat fresh tasty food daily. Delicious lemon chicken, beef & broccoli, fried calamari, fried rice, steamed rice, stir fried green beans, all you can eat sushi, fried chicken tenders, wong tong soup, sweet & spicy soup, etc. Beautiful huge spread of different desserts, etc. I enjoyed the beef & broccoli which was fresh tender delicious yet tasty. I also enjoyed the Tres Leches cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Armando G. was our server. Armando was polite, friendly, fast moving, keeping himself busy going beyond the extra mile in assisting all guest eating at this establishment, in his seated section. We, my daughter & I were very impressed with how well equipped this all you can eat place carries all types of delicious selected food to chose from. Highly recommend you spend time here, well worth your money! We will be returning here soon!

Food was really good. It was hot and fresh including steaks cooked to order. It’s reasonably priced at 68 for 4 adults with drinks. Ask for my boy Ray to be your waiter. He was quick and was able to remember everything. He’s just starting out but he’s gonna go far.

This buffet has had its ups and downs over the last 15+ years we've been going. Overall its good for your money. They have a decent selection of food. The sushi is basic but still ok, would avoid the salad bar but everything else is good. Servers are usually very nice and check in often. The place could use a good cleaning though. One of the better chinese buffets in San Antonio.

My experience there from start to finish was amazing! The food there has a great taste. The rice with shrimp is amazing! The chef in charge of the grilled meat was really nice and did my piece how I asked. My waitress Maribel was super outgoing and fun to talk to. I’ve come to this restaurant for YEARS and it has just gone down the drain. I’ve never been so disappointed and disgusted before. A hair was found in my food and once I let the server know she kindly apologized and went to the manager. The manager passed our table a numerous amount of times and never even acknowledged my boyfriend and I. After waiting about 15 minutes for him, our server came back to ask if he checked on us, which he hadn’t. He then passed by our table AGAIN and looked right at us as he continued to walk by. Finally my boyfriend got his attention and we let him know about the situation to which he replied “I had seen and it is not a hair to me.” After arguing with my boyfriend about what he didn’t think was a hair, he said he would refund one of our meals because he couldn’t do both. I didn’t understand why considering we didn’t even get to eat since we waited for him most of the time, but oh well. Ive even found a fly in my ice cream before (which the manager at the time was very nice about)but I guess my mistake was coming back. So sad this place isn’t what it used to be :( *SIDE NOTE: i never received an apology from the manager upon addressing the situation, and he was also very rude, and acted as if he didn’t care. If I never posted this I probably never would have recieved an apology either. Customer satisfaction should be #1 and you can’t do that with horrible management.

Been to this restaurant many times. There has always been great service. But today i can’t say the service was great the line cook for the steak counter was very rude to my wife. My son was in line waiting for his steak and my wife went over to tell him to get 2 steaks. The guy tells my wife that starts over there. Like she not allow to talk to my son. The guy could have been more polite in the way he talks to customers. He pissed her off so bad he ruined her meal. He needs to think about what and how he talks to people. He in the service business. When a 12 year old boy is stand in line and an adult comes up to him common sense tells u its probably his parent.

Well it's definitely a buffet. Of food, customers, talking volumes and all! Sticky and humid. The steaks are fantastic. Your clothes will thank you as the ventilation in here is somehow not kicking the smoke back out. With prices being so competitive nowadays something has to stand out to keep the customers coming back. One thing that stands out on par with the excellent food at this establishment is their service. Serene was so attentive to my needs as a guest that she remembered me from my previous visits. My son was in line waiting for his steak and my wife went over to tell him to get 2 steaks. The guy tells my wife that starts over there. Like she not allow to talk to my son. The guy could have been more polite in the way he talks to customers. He pissed her off so bad he ruined her meal. He needs to think about what and how he talks to people. He in the service business. When a 12 year old boy is stand in line and an adult comes up to him common sense tells u its probably his parent.

What an amazing buffet. I can write so much about their food selection, but what makes me go back is their desserts! Most buffet restaurants have okay desserts. I am not usually dessert hungry after eating at a buffet, except here. They have very delicious cakes, and they have a self-serve mangonada station! I also want to mention our server Sun, he was very friendly and kept checking on us and really made the experience better.

If you are looking for a quaint, quiet, place to eat- Chopsticks is not for you. It is a little loud, but aside from that, it’s pretty good. Some is there making steaks (I don’t know the cut if meat but it was tender and flavorful.) the food is fresh and the restaurant/bathrooms are clean. With as constantly busy as this place is, it really is a testament to how well they keep up the restaurant. Key lime pie. I love the desserts, and there are plenty. The key lime pie is my favorite. The buffet had many “Chinese food” options, but also has some Mexican food, meat and potatoes, fried chicken, mash potatoes and gravy to name a few thing. Go hungry!

First time eating here after a while, Wait time was long They should put some more chairs inside for people to wait! After that food was good and our waitress amazing Maribel made us forget about the wait time! She made us welcome and treat us like if were home! If you are starving and don’t have much money this is the place for you! This place is fairly cheap especially at lunch time. Good food variety including a grilling station. Soft drinks are included in the price and the staff is really good at keeping your glass full. The food is ok. What you would expect from a buffet restaurant. Be aware that the queue at the door can be long but it moves quickly.

I ate way too much, like every time I come here. Pretty damn good selections and the food is very good. I had an urge for teriyaki chicken on the stick, drove all the way across San Antonio for that satisfaction. I was not disappointed, I probably ate a dozen of them, and a pile of general chicken, then decided that a big ole pile of sushi was a good idea to pile on top of an already full stomach. I really need to learn self control

Visiting from Houston and the buffet did not compare. Very disappointed. The food was not great. The chicken tasted old and the restaurant did not have many food selections. The restaurant also had a nasty smell coming from the kitchen area. It was probably from the bucket of whatever it was by the buffet area, Disgusting!. However our server was great! Young black gentlemen in the back. He was the only person in a large busy area. Despite him being busy he made sure he took care of us.

A friend recommended this place and I saw a line out the door the first time I attempted to come and finally made it in for dinner today. Honestly, definitely isn’t worth waiting in line out the front door and the food is okay, nothing special. Maybe I’m just used to the variety of selection i have back at home in Houston but I’m not sure it’s something I’d come back for since I also live on the other side of San Antonio. The service we received from Tae was great. He was very attentive to our needs and had everything we needed/wanted without us even having to ask. I would say his service was the best thing about the whole experience.

Food was decent. Fried Rice was by far one of the most concentrated on dished. The Ice Cream bar was very very unsanitary and gross. All ice creams mixed up. Dirty dishes is semi expected in a Buffet due to the volume of food, but some of the food is simply not changed out and say there for the same hour and half my wife and I ate there. However, the serving staff was amazing! So kind and swift. Nice environment, however many rude people. We are all hungry but it's not a race to eat ribs haha. Overall price is a little high, but decent food.

By far one of my favorite Chinese buffet restaurant of all time. The food selection is amazing and the adult beverages are wonderful. They also have a hibachi style grill during certain hours and it's always amazing watching them cook. The only downside is that because it's soooo amazing it can be a decent wait during peak hours. Long lines means 1 thing everyone wants it and for a good reason
