This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Restaurant.
This place is absolutely outstanding. The staff was sociable and attentive. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Makes me feel like I am back in Tucson.
The location and design of the restaurant is very elegant however don't let that distract you from everything else. We were seated quickly as we had reservations, but after that, the service lacked. I ordered appetizers and asked that they allow us to finish that before taking the remainder of our order and they visited multiple times despite my request. Once our food came out, our waitress again visited us multiple times, but once we were done it took them over 15 minutes to take our empty plates. Another 15 minutes passed before they came to ask about dessert and after the wait, we had enough. We ordered the New York strip and the Half Lobster special. The salad side on the lobster was bland, but the lobster itself was very flavorful. The steak was cooked medium perfectly, but it would've done better with a slight charring on the outside. I take a lot of time picking a restaurant when I travel and I'm sad to say I was disappointed after my meal. I would not recommend this for the food.
food was so delish. had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again.
Great food and ambience
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and honestly had a perfect time. Service is exceptional, the food is fantastic and the quality of each dish impressed us. On top of that, great atmosphere and the cocktail menu was a treat.
Definitely one of the best places in the area. The bill was reasonable. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
This place is for celebrating. The opulence begins before you even reach the host stand, as you climb a marble staircase that spirals around a two-story sculpture. Then you notice the inviting walls with golden sconces, and you might wonder how wood paneling ever went out of style. Fortunately, the kitchen rises to meet the dining room. A chilled split pea soup with a hint of mint spoke of springtime. I didn't get the salade verte this time, but from past visits, I can say that I'm aware of no better way to get your greens anywhere in the city. The greens themselves will be fresh, not bitter, and you won't want a drop more of dressing, nor a speck of salt or pepper. The roast chicken, served with broccolini, was without flaw, and was juicy with crispy skin. So get to Bullion if you want to treat yourself. You can even go for dinner, if you want, but at lunchtime, you feel like you're being served in a private club. The feeling you leave with is well worth the price and then some.
First time at this restaurant and it was excellent! We both chose seafood dishes and both were on point. The dessert was wonderful as well. Definitely will come back.
Dinner for our anniversary, simply wonderful! From cocktails in the lounge to our amazing dinner and the attentive yet reserved service, EVERYTHING was perfect!!! The art deco felt like you were on a luxury yacht in this suspended and floating space in Downtown Dallas. This is a MUST DO dining experience in Dallas. Five Stars!
Great happy hour drinks and small plates in the lounge
Coffee is outstanding and I cannot resist the pasteries - especially the scones!
Great place for delicious french food. Got there about two, it was not packed. Staff treated us so nice. The bill was decent.
I love this place. They have such a great twist on traditional southern dishes. Everything is so fresh and so delicious.
Expertly prepared, excellent experience
I truly didn't mind this place, the food is amazing, and also the restrooms were tidy. It was a little chilly inside, so that was not the best. The host is great also. I will absolutely consider returning once again if I have the chance. Me and my friend got the sandwiches and we were not disappointed. My one idea is to keep the cool outside. Cheers!
Very nice high end restaurant in a great location. Outstanding management! Great happy hour deals.
Good food and service!
Good food. My husband and I love eating they delicious food and tea. We celebrated our anniversay here a week ago. It was amazing!!
A rare treat! Food was exceptional, service exceptional, decor is amazing and the sound is perfect. Conversation is soft and easy.
Beautiful place to be. The staffs are well oriented and well learned. I really can't wait to pay you guys a visit on my next vacation..... You deserve more than a five star
One of my favorite restaurants in DFW. Good for special occasions.
Divine! Amazing food and service! Loved every bite
The service, cuisine, wine selection and atmosphere is amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.
it's so tasty. i'll return with my friends. food and atmosphere reminds me of kansas city.
I was plaisently surprised by this new French restaurant ..the beauty of the building inside out is splendid..we arrived early to enjoy few cocktails at the bar ..staff is very friendly professional knowledgeable.... As great as the service was, and me continuing to remark how "nice" every course was and it really was - you could taste the attention to detail and perfection in each ingredient chosen for a dish.. I came back on week day as I notice on the menu traditional French dish ..a must do ...
Try all of the appetizers. Literally, just order all 8 appetizers and make it a meal with wine. Amazing!
Like everyone else says, great atmosphere. One of the best places to go to for date night.
Went here for happy hour on a Wednesday, quiet and uncrowded, with great decor and ambiance. Happy hour selections were great and very well priced, and the staff was welcoming and accommodating, next time I’m in Dallas I will go back for dinner service.
My wife and I ate here a few night ago and the food was great along with the service. Classy place and we look forward to returning.
A top scene for quality french food. visited near twelve, it was not full. next time i'll be back with my friends.
Was in town for a Marketing Conference and the Marketing team decided to choose the restrarant as they were from out of town. And I must say they choose a very nice place. I was escorted by security up the stairs when I arrived at night. And the nighttime view of this area with the christmas lights was just gorgeous. After talking with the hostess, I had to use the restroom, and was very impressed, very clean, cool technology, and I knew I was in a 5 star place from the get go. Then we ordered the food, they actually forgot some wine that was ordered at the table, but it eventually came, not enough to take away from the experience. But I ordered the Duck, and it was very good, I had not had Duck before in many years, so it was a pleasant dining experience.
This place is excellent. The food, the decor, the staff. A+
This place is beautiful. It was a must try when my boyfriend and I were in town. We arrived before our reservations to get really great drinks in their lounge and enjoyed some complimentary olives and a sample of one of their new drinks. We started with the most savory and fluffiest gruyere cheese puffs. Dinner was amazing, I had the duck, he had the cod. Highly recommended for the great food & drinks and a beautiful atmosphere!
This restaurant is totally overrated. Food was an average, extremely slow service, went there to celebrate my bray but ruined the whole day. If u want to look around the interior, good to go. But for the meal, don’t go.
Great food. Amazing service. Sara smiled the entire time she served us. She was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit.
This place always delivers. They serve great dishes for fair pricing, there no long wait even when they are busy.
Very nice & cozy place to hang out on Friday night. Good food. Give it a try.
Beautiful dinning room and delicious food!
Love this restaurant food, service great!
Great cocktails and beautifully intimate atmosphere paired with deliciously prepared food.
Disappointed with the service as we were wowed entering the restaurant! however food was sublime, ambiance festive and very chic. I will return in Hopes the service has improved.
Great service, amazing atmosphere, authentic food
What a exceptional dining experience we had at Bullion. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere for a formal date night
Great food, great cocktails and great ambiance. Highly recommend it
The entire experience was amazing!! Best plate of food I have ever eaten in my life! The explosion of flavors was only expressed on the art work behind my beautiful wife. Every texture. Every flavor, working together to take your dining experience to another place. Excellent, knowledgeable, and patient staff are ready to answer any questions. We will come back, as the menu changes, especially for the lamb. My best wishes to the chef and staff.
Amazing taste bud experience!
Beautiful setting in one of Dallas' newest sensational eateries. Sadly, the meal didn't live up to the expectations. So wanted to be blown away, but had to just shrug. Food was not served at the right temperatures & service was painfully slow. We practically had to beg for our cheese platter, which was embarrassingly sparse in portions. Apparently, the best of the menu is the lamb, certainly not the seafood choices. Wine selection was top notch, but the deserts were also disappointing. The best part of the evening was spent in the very comfortable bar having after dinner cocktails. Hope this place can improve on their promising environment.
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we were very happy with the food! We were greeted very nicely, and got seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful. Everything we ordered came out amazing: - Appetizer: We got the foie gras with marmalade. - Entrees: I got the Canard a L'orange, duck with radish, endive, orange marmalade and it was cooked perfectly. The portion was good, I actually was pretty full by the end (given also I was eating the delicious bread basket). My husband got the Wednesday special: calamari stuffed sausage ratatouille. It was so flavorful! - Dessert: we got the Peche Melba. The poached peaches were done perfectly, the jellies add interesting texture, and caramelized almonds with vanilla ice cream all together made it so good! Service was average surprisingly. Our waitress only checked on us once during our meal. Also, definitely do valet parking ($5). We still very much enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
I love their pastries and breakfast bowls! Great food when I'm on the go and need a quick bite.
WHAT DALLAS HAS BEEN MISSING I came here the first time with a group for my birthday in September. Stepping inside you are immediately greeted by super sweet ladies dressed to the nines, ending in leather tennies-very French
french food and service at this spot is great. Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. The prices are good for what you get. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.
Excellent decor, excellent food. We went for lunch and it was a nice quite atmosphere. We've heard dinner time can be busy.
My top place for french food. The place has a cool feel to it.
Bullion is an experience. The decor feels 50s with wood and brass but the vibe is modern. The food is on the highest level with its classical French with a modern twist. Definitely keep it in the pocket for special occasions.
The restaurant itself is cool and beautifully decorated. The service wasn't as good. The waitress we had didn't know the menu for our questions and we could hardly hear her. The food was okay, nothing outstanding and a bit too small of portions. They do have a great wine selection, very delicious.
Love this place! The cocktails and food are Amazing!
It was one of the best French cuisine I had in a while.
Excellent French Cuisine & Stunning Interiors !!! Plus a Killer Martini with Amazing French Blue Cheese Olives crafted by the talent of Austin an Amazing Bartender!!!
Stopped in on a Monday I think. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. This place has a great feel to it.
Stop everything you are doing and come down here to enjoy the awesome food and lovely decor. I had the market fish sandwich as main and sorbet/ice cream (prune and carrot/Mandarin) for dessert. The sandwich is just mouthwatering and the ice cream is one of the best I've ever had.
Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Great service. We ordered the gazpacho with lump crab and the strip and grilled asparagus. The gazpacho was very flavorful and delish as was the grilled asparagus with the herbed creme Fraiche. The strip was cooked perfectly medium rare but lacked a good sear and a bit much on the gristle. Decidedly not prime grade. Overall it was good but did not wow us. There are better options for this caliber of restaurant.
Amazing service, food and wine list!
Amazing decor, beautiful fresh flowers! The staff was everything you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. However, while delicious, the fries were too crispy and the cut of beef for the steak frites had too much gristle for me.
Nice service, perfect food. I like the atmosphere which is divided in 2 different ways. The dishes I tried were perfect. I cannot remember the names and it was my first time to have fried beef in a fine dining. The interior and exterior of the dining were great especially the bathroom. The only thing I would like to suggest is about the menu book. Every name of the dishes were in Franch, it was a bit difficult to understand directly even though there were explanation under the name in English.
Amazing food and awesome workers!
Best French restaurant in Dallas. Wine list and Som are awesome too.
An amazing location but a subpar attempt at French cuisine. Just by putting some of the most famous French dishes on a menu doesn’t mean much when they are not cooked correctly. I imagine it does however please the country club crowd. The bread was old. When asked if made fresh in house, the waiter replied “yes but better when warm”. The frogs legs were pan fried in old oil, browning was too brown for what the consistency should be with fresh oil. Garlic over cooked by a minute expelling a poor taste that ruined the dish as well. Bronzino was a nice dish as it was made primarily in the oven..thus it was fool proof. Duck breast was cooked unevenly and close to medium well when we ordered medium rare. Skin quality was rubbery due to extended time in the oven or a pan that was not hot enough for the sear. The quality may get by on people not familiar with higher ends of restaurant cuisine..but for those of you looking for Michelin grade French cuisine you will be extremely disappointed. 2 stars only because the fish which would have been a dish the likes of a bonefish grill could provide you.
Came here for appetizers and drinks and everything was delicious. My favorite was the gnocchi chantarelle! I regret not getting a bigger plate of that. The Last Word they made for me was delicious. We also got a half dozen oysters and steak tartare. Will be back if I'm ever in Dallas!
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to—wish we had more like it in Miami. Food and drinks were incredible, service was a 10, and the design is jaw-dropping. Do net hesitate booking this restaurant—you won’t regret it.
The food is always well prepared and tasty, cashiers provides excellent service. I like how neat it is and atmosphere. Will come back again.
Wait staff was attentive. Food was served hot and in a timely manner. One caveat though. It was difficult to find a bottle of wine at or below $100. Most were priced much higher.
Burger was good. A little salty. The special ketchup was good. Fries were extra crispy but really greasy as well. Service is excellent. Bread and butter is served which is great. Restaurant ambiance is superb. I just wish I liked the burger more.
Beautiful restaurant. Excellent selection of cocktails. Delicious food. Wonderful place to spend a special birthday dinner. We will return.
filled me up in no time. the bill was fair i would say. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i loved to visit.
Amazing Space - Food - Service If you wish to go beyond the dining experience and discover truly artful cuisine then look into Bullion - Dallas. The space is amazing, but oddly the service out shines the space, until you taste the food. I was left feeling I have been tricked and it was some kind of illusion. No - I was right, this place is Amazing. We will be back soon, with more soon to be impressed out of town guests.
Incredible food and service. Probably the most extensive French wine list in DFW. The truffle rissoto and Bison strip were cooked to perfection. Dress well and have a great date night!
Lovely for dinner. Food was wonderful, staff very attentive and very helpful with wine selection
Great atmosphere and good food.
French food at this location - delicious. the service here is attentive. prices were decent. this place has many good reviews for a reason.
Amazing dining experience! From the moment we sat down in the lounge, till we climbed into our Uber to go home, every staff member was pleasant and friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful and on point, and the food and drink we're deliciously decadent! Highly recommended!
Bullion was delicious from start to finish. We we're celebrating my nephew's birthday and had a table with a great view. The service was attentive and not overbearing. My martini was prepared to perfection. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the French fries were crispy and delicious. Definitely a keeper.
The scones are wonderful and the chocolate chip cookie is my favorite of anywhere! If you like chai tea lattes this is the place.
This restaurant has to be one of my favorite interior designs. Definitely my favorite cocktail bar in Dallas at the moment. Somewhat reminds me of the Boom Boom Room in NYC. Food was excellent and I will definitely be back soon.
Great food and great service.
Super yummy food and good service.
This organization has their act together. From the service to the cuisine, you won't be disappointed .
Celebrated our anniversary. Restaurant was full however we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time The whole place from when you enter is amazing. Service from all staff was superb top notch Our waiter was great and very attentive. As for the food truly great. Presentation also very nice. We ordered the bone in ribeye. We were a bit hesitant as it can easily be grilled incorrectly. Wow it was perfectly cooked as we had asked for. In my opinion better done than most other top steak places in Dallas Starters were superb deserts amazing Selection of wines also great. Only complaint was the price of a single malt scotch just way to high and out of line compared to similar high end restaurants. Was a great experience and we will definitely be back.
Great service and atmosphere. Coffee and Dessert selections were actually quite excellent. Came here with friend for a birthday dinner. I took a star off since my entree turned a bit salty. Needs better integration between the seasoning and the meat across the meaty selections. I would suggest to opt for the daily entree selections.
OMGEeeeeeeee!!! This restaurant is outstanding. Came here with a group of friends. All of us have spent extended timw in France. The menu and flavors were soot on! It is more of a French fusion but just so delicious. I got the cheese …
The cod fish was excellent and the escargot was delicious! Very nice service
I don't know How or Where they found Pablo Escobar's interior decorator, buuuut it appears they've done it!!! Wow, what a style!! You have got to see this place!!! I can't even tell you the visions I had strolling into this place. Take you right back to the early 80's!!! The wild early 80's. Make no mistake, this place is beautiful and done to the hilt!!! Gold, Gold, Gold!!!! OK, aside from the visual phenomenon, let's talk eats!! If you want it done right, This is the place!!! I went for lunch. Steak Tar Tar is like none other. I had a steak and fries, thinking I wasnt gonna be impressed. Come on a steak and fries, right! WRONG!!! This wasn't any regular steak, it was awesome!! And the fries were so unique, I actually asked the chef about them, to which he explained a five step process to get them the way he wanted them. I thought I was listening to a chemistry class or something!!! It was insane!!! Avocado salad, add the salmon steak. Boom!!! Cooked perfectly, as if you thought you knew what perfect tasted like, NO, try this, then you will know what a perfectly cooked salmon steak tastes like!!! Best I've ever had on both the surf and the turf!! I was seriously impressed, blown away!! I know my friend said this place was good, but that was an under statement. Desserts, had these little pound cake things that just came out of the oven, all hot and tasty. Black forest cake with raspberry or somethin sorbet and an apple thing with vanilla ice cream. All amazing, and I don't even like apple things, but this was different!! Whoever is doin this kitchen, their chef's, Bruno, Oliver, these cats got it Goin on!! Staff was good and the prices were very affordable. I was surprised. I expected a much higher priced menu. I think the steak was less than 25 bucks and the salad, abou 22 or so. I looked over the dinner menu and didn't see anything over 50 dollars except maybe one big steak thing at 115. I can't wait to go back for dinner A must if you're in Dallas!!
Magnificent Food and Service
5 stars, nothing less. Great food, atmosphere and service.
One of my favorite places in Dallas. Everyone is super attentive. Love the food!
Elegant Dinners and Sophisticated Lunches - Tantalizing Cocktails - Extensive Wine List - Amazing Attentive Service - Stunning Architecture - Cozy Stylish Setting - Beautifully and Perfectly Prepared Entrees - Outstanding “Gougeres” as an Appetizer - Save Room or Have Bullion’s Extraordinary Desserts First: faves includes their “Mille Feuille”, “Vacherin Rhubarbe et Framboise”, and “Madeleines” - Love It All!
Great ambiance. The waiter was particularly attentive to details and very welcoming. The quality of the food was great. Such a remarkable overall experience.
Great food ... best restaurant in Dallas. Must go ... but like anything good, it can get pricey but it is worth it!
Interesting vibe, food was very good, excellent wine selection. Would definitely go back if in town.
Great coffee! The breakfast tacos are affordable and taste great! The vanilla scones are my favorite!
Possibly one of the best restaurants in Dallas. Their menu is perfect and everything from the starters to dessert will blow you away. Knowledgeable staff and artfully prepared dishes. Don’t skip out on the cheese puffs or the lamb. Save room for dessert!
Classy and elegant. My wife loves this place. I agree with her.
An amazing experience! Beautiful interior, service was great! Definitely would love to go again!
Love it, love it, love it! The wood grilled oysters are fantastic! The home smoked salmon is wonderful! A little disappointed with the Chilean sea bass because it was a little bit salty.
Great food. Good service. Nice atmosphere.
Amazing food. Will be back
I recommended a friend, bad decision. Best of the meal, the wine, Restaurant overrated, Using the name Alain Ducasse, where Chef Bruno came from. Why, when you can’t keep up with the quality. Ravioli, I don’t know too much lemon, sauce much to thick for Ravioli, to fatty. Meat to much fat low quality. Why cooking this kinda food when you should know that people come to your restaurant knowing high quality food. Otherwise they would cook at home. On this particular situation, it would have been much better. Traveled, experienced great chefs in world class throughout the world, your flavor profile is far away from it. This restaurant far far away from any Stars. Sorry Chef Bruno, but this one backfired on you.
Everyone at our table was quite pleased. Service is consistently good. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
French food, yeah, so delicious. service is always prompt even when they have a full house. looking forward to going back again. this place has a nice feel to it.
Good value and the wine is also very good!
This restaurant was AMAZING! My husband and I were planning on having dessert and cocktails here, however that changed when we looked over the menu. He had the potato leek soup, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I had the scallops, and I’m so glad I did. They were like butter and so tasty! The desserts were everything I ever wanted and more; the chocolate soufflé was delicious and is a must try. The waitstaff was very attentive, never let our water get empty, was on top of making the table look nice before each course, and so personable. This place is a must when in Dallas!
One of the best meals I have ever had. Victor, our waiter, was top notch. The food was incredible. We had the gruyere puffs, steak tartare, duck, and sorbet for dessert. Absolute perfection in every bite.
Outstanding food, quiet at lunch, attentive staff.
Sexy and really posh. Bullion offers the classic French menu you hope for, without coming across as stuffy and old school. Sit at the lounge and order from their fantastic " bubbles " and wine menu, then compliment with a light appetizer before taking a seat for dinner. This is a restaurant that you would want to take your time in, therefore perfect for a first date, business dinner or celebration. Service is attentive without going overboard, always a fine experience. Impressive touches throughout from the interiors, the art, the table settings and the staff's uniforms this is a an escape from reality in the middle of downtown Dallas. Chef Bruno is heading a masterpiece that continues to evolve and excite.
I love the look and feel of this place. The restaurant is lovely. The service was ok and the food was good. Yes the portions were a bit small but that’s to be expected with most French restaurants.
Buillion was amazing! Outstanding food, service and ambiance. The cod and the poached pear were superb. Worth every penny. This is my new favorite restaurant.
Enjoyed the bar bites and cocktails at the bar today. Had an amazing time. I would recommend. The food and drinks were great but Austin and Stephen, the bartenders really made our experience memorable!
Good food and service.
