The location and design of the restaurant is very elegant however don't let that distract you from everything else. We were seated quickly as we had reservations, but after that, the service lacked. I ordered appetizers and asked that they allow us to finish that before taking the remainder of our order and they visited multiple times despite my request. Once our food came out, our waitress again visited us multiple times, but once we were done it took them over 15 minutes to take our empty plates. Another 15 minutes passed before they came to ask about dessert and after the wait, we had enough. We ordered the New York strip and the Half Lobster special. The salad side on the lobster was bland, but the lobster itself was very flavorful. The steak was cooked medium perfectly, but it would've done better with a slight charring on the outside. I take a lot of time picking a restaurant when I travel and I'm sad to say I was disappointed after my meal. I would not recommend this for the food.

This place is for celebrating. The opulence begins before you even reach the host stand, as you climb a marble staircase that spirals around a two-story sculpture. Then you notice the inviting walls with golden sconces, and you might wonder how wood paneling ever went out of style. Fortunately, the kitchen rises to meet the dining room. A chilled split pea soup with a hint of mint spoke of springtime. I didn't get the salade verte this time, but from past visits, I can say that I'm aware of no better way to get your greens anywhere in the city. The greens themselves will be fresh, not bitter, and you won't want a drop more of dressing, nor a speck of salt or pepper. The roast chicken, served with broccolini, was without flaw, and was juicy with crispy skin. So get to Bullion if you want to treat yourself. You can even go for dinner, if you want, but at lunchtime, you feel like you're being served in a private club. The feeling you leave with is well worth the price and then some.

Dinner for our anniversary, simply wonderful! From cocktails in the lounge to our amazing dinner and the attentive yet reserved service, EVERYTHING was perfect!!! The art deco felt like you were on a luxury yacht in this suspended and floating space in Downtown Dallas. This is a MUST DO dining experience in Dallas. Five Stars!

Was in town for a Marketing Conference and the Marketing team decided to choose the restrarant as they were from out of town. And I must say they choose a very nice place. I was escorted by security up the stairs when I arrived at night. And the nighttime view of this area with the christmas lights was just gorgeous. After talking with the hostess, I had to use the restroom, and was very impressed, very clean, cool technology, and I knew I was in a 5 star place from the get go. Then we ordered the food, they actually forgot some wine that was ordered at the table, but it eventually came, not enough to take away from the experience. But I ordered the Duck, and it was very good, I had not had Duck before in many years, so it was a pleasant dining experience.

This place is beautiful. It was a must try when my boyfriend and I were in town. We arrived before our reservations to get really great drinks in their lounge and enjoyed some complimentary olives and a sample of one of their new drinks. We started with the most savory and fluffiest gruyere cheese puffs. Dinner was amazing, I had the duck, he had the cod. Highly recommended for the great food & drinks and a beautiful atmosphere!

The entire experience was amazing!! Best plate of food I have ever eaten in my life! The explosion of flavors was only expressed on the art work behind my beautiful wife. Every texture. Every flavor, working together to take your dining experience to another place. Excellent, knowledgeable, and patient staff are ready to answer any questions. Beautiful setting in one of Dallas' newest sensational eateries. Sadly, the meal didn't live up to the expectations. So wanted to be blown away, but had to just shrug. Food was not served at the right temperatures & service was painfully slow. We practically had to beg for our cheese platter, which was embarrassingly sparse in portions. Apparently, the best of the menu is the lamb, certainly not the seafood choices. Wine selection was top notch, but the deserts were also disappointing. The best part of the evening was spent in the very comfortable bar having after dinner cocktails. Hope this place can improve on their promising environment.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and we were very happy with the food! We were greeted very nicely, and got seated right away. The restaurant is beautiful. Everything we ordered came out amazing: - Appetizer: We got the foie gras with marmalade. - Entrees: I got the Canard a L'orange, duck with radish, endive, orange marmalade and it was cooked perfectly. The portion was good, I actually was pretty full by the end (given also I was eating the delicious bread basket). My husband got the Wednesday special: calamari stuffed sausage ratatouille. It was so flavorful! - Dessert: we got the Peche Melba. The poached peaches were done perfectly, the jellies add interesting texture, and caramelized almonds with vanilla ice cream all together made it so good! Service was average surprisingly. Our waitress only checked on us once during our meal. Also, definitely do valet parking ($5). We still very much enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

Bullion is an experience. The decor feels 50s with wood and brass but the vibe is modern. The food is on the highest level with its classical French with a modern twist. Definitely keep it in the pocket for special occasions.

Stop everything you are doing and come down here to enjoy the awesome food and lovely decor. I had the market fish sandwich as main and sorbet/ice cream (prune and carrot/Mandarin) for dessert. The sandwich is just mouthwatering and the ice cream is one of the best I've ever had.

Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Great service. We ordered the gazpacho with lump crab and the strip and grilled asparagus. The gazpacho was very flavorful and delish as was the grilled asparagus with the herbed creme Fraiche. The strip was cooked perfectly medium rare but lacked a good sear and a bit much on the gristle. Decidedly not prime grade. Overall it was good but did not wow us. There are better options for this caliber of restaurant.

Amazing decor, beautiful fresh flowers! The staff was everything you'd expect at a restaurant of this caliber. However, while delicious, the fries were too crispy and the cut of beef for the steak frites had too much gristle for me.

Nice service, perfect food. I like the atmosphere which is divided in 2 different ways. The dishes I tried were perfect. I cannot remember the names and it was my first time to have fried beef in a fine dining. The interior and exterior of the dining were great especially the bathroom. The only thing I would like to suggest is about the menu book. Every name of the dishes were in Franch, it was a bit difficult to understand directly even though there were explanation under the name in English.

An amazing location but a subpar attempt at French cuisine. Just by putting some of the most famous French dishes on a menu doesn’t mean much when they are not cooked correctly. I imagine it does however please the country club crowd. The bread was old. When asked if made fresh in house, the waiter replied “yes but better when warm”. The frogs legs were pan fried in old oil, browning was too brown for what the consistency should be with fresh oil. Garlic over cooked by a minute expelling a poor taste that ruined the dish as well. Bronzino was a nice dish as it was made primarily in the oven..thus it was fool proof. Duck breast was cooked unevenly and close to medium well when we ordered medium rare. Skin quality was rubbery due to extended time in the oven or a pan that was not hot enough for the sear. The quality may get by on people not familiar with higher ends of restaurant cuisine..but for those of you looking for Michelin grade French cuisine you will be extremely disappointed. 2 stars only because the fish which would have been a dish the likes of a bonefish grill could provide you.

Absurdly Peculiar

Came here for appetizers and drinks and everything was delicious. My favorite was the gnocchi chantarelle! I regret not getting a bigger plate of that. The Last Word they made for me was delicious. We also got a half dozen oysters and steak tartare. Will be back if I'm ever in Dallas!

The space is amazing, but oddly the service out shines the space, until you taste the food. I was left feeling I have been tricked and it was some kind of illusion. Bullion was delicious from start to finish. We we're celebrating my nephew's birthday and had a table with a great view. The service was attentive and not overbearing. Celebrated our anniversary. Restaurant was full however we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time The whole place from when you enter is amazing. Service from all staff was superb top notch Our waiter was great and very attentive. As for the food truly great. Presentation also very nice. We ordered the bone in ribeye. We were a bit hesitant as it can easily be grilled incorrectly. Wow it was perfectly cooked as we had asked for. In my opinion better done than most other top steak places in Dallas Starters were superb deserts amazing Selection of wines also great. Only complaint was the price of a single malt scotch just way to high and out of line compared to similar high end restaurants. Was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Needs better integration between the seasoning and the meat across the meaty selections. I would suggest to opt for the daily entree selections.

I don't know How or Where they found Pablo Escobar's interior decorator, buuuut it appears they've done it!!! Wow, what a style!! You have got to see this place!!! I can't even tell you the visions I had strolling into this place. Take you right back to the early 80's!!! The wild early 80's. Make no mistake, this place is beautiful and done to the hilt!!! Gold, Gold, Gold!!!! OK, aside from the visual phenomenon, let's talk eats!! If you want it done right, This is the place!!! I went for lunch. Steak Tar Tar is like none other. I had a steak and fries, thinking I wasnt gonna be impressed. Come on a steak and fries, right! WRONG!!! This wasn't any regular steak, it was awesome!! And the fries were so unique, I actually asked the chef about them, to which he explained a five step process to get them the way he wanted them. I thought I was listening to a chemistry class or something!!! It was insane!!! Avocado salad, add the salmon steak. Boom!!! Cooked perfectly, as if you thought you knew what perfect tasted like, NO, try this, then you will know what a perfectly cooked salmon steak tastes like!!! Best I've ever had on both the surf and the turf!! I was seriously impressed, blown away!! I know my friend said this place was good, but that was an under statement. Desserts, had these little pound cake things that just came out of the oven, all hot and tasty. Black forest cake with raspberry or somethin sorbet and an apple thing with vanilla ice cream. All amazing, and I don't even like apple things, but this was different!! Whoever is doin this kitchen, their chef's, Bruno, Oliver, these cats got it Goin on!! Staff was good and the prices were very affordable. I was surprised. I expected a much higher priced menu. I think the steak was less than 25 bucks and the salad, abou 22 or so. I looked over the dinner menu and didn't see anything over 50 dollars except maybe one big steak thing at 115. I can't wait to go back for dinner A must if you're in Dallas!!

I recommended a friend, bad decision. Best of the meal, the wine, Restaurant overrated, Using the name Alain Ducasse, where Chef Bruno came from. Why, when you can’t keep up with the quality. Ravioli, I don’t know too much lemon, sauce much to thick for Ravioli, to fatty. Meat to much fat low quality. Why cooking this kinda food when you should know that people come to your restaurant knowing high quality food. Otherwise they would cook at home. On this particular situation, it would have been much better. Traveled, experienced great chefs in world class throughout the world,your flavor profile is far away from it. This restaurant far far away from any Stars. Sorry Chef Bruno, but this one backfired on you.

This restaurant was AMAZING! My husband and I were planning on having dessert and cocktails here, however that changed when we looked over the menu. He had the potato leek soup, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I had the scallops, and I’m so glad I did. They were like butter and so tasty! The desserts were everything I ever wanted and more; the chocolate soufflé was delicious and is a must try. The waitstaff was very attentive, never let our water get empty, was on top of making the table look nice before each course, and so personable. This place is a must when in Dallas!
