What a cool little place! The food was great. The En Fuego burger was spicier than I thought it would be, which is a good thing. The fries were good. The Donut Burger was good. The meat seems to be quality and the donut itself was good. The macaroni and cheese balls were tasty as well. A very sweet, young woman; Kathryn, waited on us and she was amazing as well. She checked on us often, but was not **overwhelming**...Kathryn ;).... and made the whole experience even better. We will definitely be asking for her next time. I did manage to order everything on the menu to take home as well. This I have been know to do.

Wow the food here was so good!! There was a pretty long wait for a table, but it was totally worth it. We tried many things on the menu, including mac and cheese, some tots, two of the burgers, and a shake. All of it was so amazing. Our server was also so friendly and was able to give us some great recommendations for what we should try. I live far away, but if I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely be going back!

Was told there would be a minimum 3 hour wait. Then we estimated our bill would be at least $60 dollars. So we went to the grocery store and bought bread, sliced ham and mustard for $9 dollars. We all got a sandwich, including the dog - and we had food left over.

First and last time we will go. Waiter was very nice but my husband and I paid $60.05. for cold burger and fries. The only thing that was hot and fresh was the Mac and cheese. We got a shake and split it. The presentation was beautiful but not worth the drive or price.

The food is good (fresh beef burgers and over-the-top shakes) but its cramped. Call ahead before you go. The dip flyte has fauxamole and jarred salsas...not fresh, so dont waste your $ on that for sure.

Service was above and beyond my expectations. Our waitress was wonderful. She went on break while waiting our table but 3 other waitresses/waiter came to check on us while she was on her break. She immediately came back to check on us. The food was incredible. I had the fried mac n cheese burger. The banana pudding milkshake was over the top! Be sure to be hunger when you go.

Come hungry and leave happy. We had heard several people mention this place but never made the time to try it. You need to make sure you leave time for the wait as it was around 1 1/2 hours for 8 people. It was definitely worth the wait though. I got the lobster Mac and cheese which was awesome, but you need to make sure you save room for the shakes! These things were just rediculously amazing! The chocolate freak ... ice cream, chocolate whip cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate icing with cocoa pebbles... and a Swiss roll. Yeah... just yeah. Our waitress was was awesome as was the rest of the staff. The staff seems to have so much fun and makes an enjoyable atmosphere. Make sure to sing along! Will be going back next time we are in the area!

The hour wait to be seated would have been acceptable if service and food were decent. If I could give no stars for service I would. After waiting 30 minutes, had to stop another server for a drink order to be taken. Sat over an hour so far still waiting for food. Nearly another 15-20 minutes passed for the server to return to the table to verify part of our order.....indicating the order had just been put in. The table beside us has waited for over 20 minutes just for a beer refill. Once food finally arrived it was cool and orders arrived scattered. Unremarkable once it arrived. Waitresses have been gathered behind the bar visiting. Incredibly unimpressed. Save your money and don’t bother stopping.

Sunday afternoon 4ish. No wait time to get seated. They were not super busy. Server came pretty soon, took drink order, when she returned we ordered our burgers. Wait time was a bit to get our order it seemed. Different person brought out the food. Burgers came out as ordered, everyone tried something different. The burgers had a good taste and were juicy. We liked the different ways you can get them. Refills and getting our shakes ordered was done by the assumed manager as our waitress was pre occupied with another table (guys)..... Shakes were delivered by another server as well. Lol. We ordered 2 shakes. Both were just like the pics..They were very good. Our original server came near the end to "check on us" and brought our bill. Family of 4 getting 4 burgers and fries and 2 shakes was 80 dollars before tip. All in all pretty good except our server. We may try again sometime, took an hour drive to try them out.

3 o’clock on a Tuesday shouldn’t present any issues but a pretty long wait for our beers started it. Didn’t even get the appetizer we ordered and although I thought the food and milkshake were great, I believe the staff could be a little more prepared. Just not a great experience... Willing to give it another shot down the road but we weren’t very impressed the first go around after driving more than an hour to get there

Need a bigger establishment, extended wait times needlessly. The atmosphere is energizing, almost seeming electric. The food was tasteful. Appetizers a plenty per order. The shakes are mostly whipped cream, this was a downer. Waitresses were well grounded and prompt with a spirited side. Go at least once with a reservation.

I've been there multiple times. The food was always good. Went there today for lunch. The food was warm not hot. The waitress was more interested in talking to people then doing her job. This is the worst experience I've had there.

We called from disco dry park of America to find out the wait time (we had traveled from a good distance and had heard about the grind) the lady on the phone said they had empty tables so come and it shouldn't be a problem to get us right in. So we drive there just to be greeted at the door and be told it would be an hour and a half wait. So 1 star. We never ate there because someone lied to us telling us we would have no wait, only to find out there was a very long one and we had 3 tired and hungry 5 year Olds. Not cool.

I had a mushroom and Swiss burger. It was good and the hand battered onion rings were very good as well. My wife had a chicken sandwich that was also good. We split a milkshake that was beautifully presented but Sonic would have tasted better. Tax and tip, I spent $50. For that price I expected better. It would have been a good $30 meal for two. At $50, it wasn't that good.

All in all, a good first visit. We were quoted a 1.5 hour wait, but it didn't take that long. Server was friendly, but it took over 30 minutes to get our food. Food was decent, but we waited on our toddler to get her food last, which was mildly inconvenient. Bathroom was a shambles when I went in there, to the point that we changed our kiddo's diaper in the car instead. Milkshakes were good, but seemed to be 80% whipped cream. A little steep on prices and it was super loud the entire time we were there.

The atmosphere was great. It's loud but not LOUD, if that makes any since at all. Everything we had was delicious and worth the wait. If they are busy they will have someone outside to take down your party size, and special accomodations, and phone number they will call you when your table is ready and they give you plenty of time to get there. Mac and cheese balls were the GOAT, Mac and cheese burger and the Balboa were great! Onion rings are made in house and not garbage like most people try and pass off as good. Fountain drinks were crisp, and our shakes were amazing! Alex was our waiter but they will all stop and help if it looks like you need anything! Friendly! Friendly! Friendly! Oh! And they will even take your picture with a Polaroid if you ask them to and will put it on the wall or you can keep it! Pretty cool!

I absolutely loved this place. The staff is so much fun, so friendly and their energy is contagious. The inside decor screams 1980s nostalgia, down to the mini arcade games on the table. Loved my simply classic burger but wanted to try them all. The milkshakes are out of control delicious. I had such a great time and can't wait to go back.

Food is great. I have to admit it didn't quite live up to the hype the first time through. But it has gotten much much better. The service is fantastic. The one time things were less than perfect, they apologized profusely. The burgers are cooked perfectly, and prepared just how you ask. The Million $ Bacon is to die for. Best experience we have ever ever had at a restaurant. Came all the way down from Louisville Kentucky to experice the wonder that is The Grind for my husband's 30th Birthday! They immediately treated us like old friends. Had my husband participate in the first ever "Grind Man Bun Competition." They have a secret if you are daring enough to ask (I suggest you do!) The food is delicious. The atmosphere is fun! Our service was excellent and beyond expectation! Not to mention the milkshakes were GINORMOUS and the kids were in heaven. Definitely reccomending to all of my friends and family forever. Cannot return soon enough. Thank you for making my husband's big day so special. Expect a wait because it's a small restaurant and so many wanting to dine. Worth every minute of the 45 minute wait time.

What an amazing experience! I had wanted to visit The Grind, for over a year. I decided that was the one SPECIAL place I wanted to go for my #woohoo52 birthday celebration. I must say, I was not disappointed in my choice! The staff made me feel special, and were more than happy to cater to the food allergy requirements of my daughter and grandson! I mean WOW! They went out of their way, even creating a special dessert for my grandson, who could not have dairy. The food was exquisite, too! I cannot give a high enough recommendation! A huge shout out to our fabulous server, Jae-Ann, and the manager on staff! People, take my advice ... go there and experience it for yourself!!

Like other reviewers have said, this is a one of a kind place. The shakes are out of this world. Beers are great. Staff is energetic and will put a smile on your face. You have to go here at least once!
