We have been fans of Sam's wings (the original sauce is my fave!) and pizza since moving to Hendersonville 3 years ago. Sadly, Sam's has not stepped up with recent competition in the area. Our last 3 visits have been subpar- from the service to chewy pizza. Our last visit, our son asked to sit outside. We were on the early side of the dinner rush and joined only 3 other tables. Fairly immediately we ordered water and wings for an appetizer, but 40 minutes the waiter had not returned to take our order. Our glasses sat empty, wings were gone and plenty of servers were in and out before we finally had to ask someone for our check. We did not speak to management as we were trying to salvage a special evening with our son. Hopefully, they'll get it together so we can come back. Until then, there are other similar restaurants in the area to check out.

Great place I love their burgers and there are a million tv's in there. Also the waitresses are nice and all the food has been good. I have been here probably around 5 times and I will be back for sure. They have a patio if you want to sit outside and enjoy the weather. .

95% of the time this is one of my favorite places in Hendersonville. Good beer, good food, tons of TV's for games, and they have an awesome lunch menu... the other 5% of the time they are super short staffed and it's nearly impossible to get good service, if any at all... but I'm still going to give 5 stars lol

Nice sports bar. My favorite part is the outdoor seating area. Parking can be a pain, just remember it is in a shopping area. The food is good, the service is not that fast but the servers are normally very friendly.

Sam's is a nice place to enjoy yourself with friends or co-workers. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Their pizza and burgers are great, but I highly recommend their chicken nachos which, although it is listed as an appetizer, can be meal in itself.

The food was great! However we had terrible service by our waitress Victoria. She never brought silverware, we asked for napkins and was never given them, she kept trying to get us to pay and leave. She was more focused on getting to go home. We would have spent double the amount of money on our visit if it hadn’t of been for the service we were given.

A group of us stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere was pretty cool. This restaurant is in a really nice mall open air mall. The food was good and served nice and hot. The service was solid. If your in the area this is a good spot to have bite to eat and beverage.

I've recently changed my eating habits. Sam's is strictly a bar food menu place. I tried to make my own healthy meal out of sides (salad and steamed veg) with grilled shrimp or chicken added. I was refused the meats. I added a plain baked potato just to hit my calorie intake, but it was the most miserable meal I've had since trying to cook risotto.

Pizza is what this Sports Grill does well. We like to add extra tomatoes and red peppers. Lots of TV's for sports. Outdoor seating is nice. The staff is helpful. Some top shelf liquor. Parking in the back is easiest for us.

Used to be good service when we moved here a little over a year ago but recently everytime we go there we sit at the bar for 10 minutes and don't see a single server. Plus they have charged us for drinks before that they wouldn't even give us.

Been going here for years. They have really good pizza and the chicken tenders are a favorite for the kids. Great place to watch games, get good food and great service. I just wish they still had the bbq pork nachos. We would get them every time we went there to eat.

We used to go to Sam's Sports Grill often to get one of the best pizza's in town; however, it appears they've changed the recipe and it tastes like any basic pizza now. I hope they'll consider going back to the original recipe in order to make it great again.

First time visiting this location. We went on a Saturday night so it was pretty busy. Considering, they were still able to get our party in within a relatively short time (about 45m wait). Our server was pretty attentive and provided great service. I ordered the Sweet and Spicy wings well done and fried pickles. Both of which were really good. Great flavor on the wings, not to spicy but nice kick. The pickles were fresh and the batter also had a great flavor.

Chicken tenders use to be so good. Now the breading is way to thick and heavy. With very dry over cooked chicken. This use to be so good. Can't eat on patio because there are too many smokers. Most restaurants don't allow smoking on patio.

My new favorite place for Chicken tenders in Hendersonville served however you want. Half buffalo and Half plain. Jonathan's said they won't do it anymore because it's "policy" Sam's is just as good and Cheaper too. Great service with a smile.

Pizza and beer are great. However, the reason we visited was to enjoy a nice cold Bushwacker. The issue with this would be that the machine is been broken, and apparently has been broken for months. They are known for their Bushwackers, so unclear why they haven't received a new machine.

Great place to watch the games with TV's that surround the inside and outside patio that is wide open or closed when it's cold. Food is amazing with anything and everything you would want from pizza made your way to an Amazing Turkey Club. Oh... and the fries are amazing. If anything come pull up a chair and order a beer or mixed drink and a side of fries and enjoy you favorite game.

Seated quickly, waitress didn't get the drink order right. I ordered chicken tenders, they were nasty, thick undercooked batter around a small piece of chicken. I ordered slaw instead of fries to eat healthier, the slaw was tasteless with too course chopped cabbage and too many carrots. My partner ordered a cheeseburger and fries, said it was ok but later complained of a stomach ache. I know we won't be returning to this place.

I had really poor service today. My server was obviously brand new and was way overloaded. We waited forever to even get a drink. Without asking for it or complaining about anything, the manager came over to tell us our meals were compped After waiting even longer for food, the manager let us knkw the whole bill was compped. Agun, without asking (and we had alcohol) To make the afternoon a little worse I left my wallet. I returned to grab it and the host staff k ew who I was as soo as I as I came in. They found my wallet and gave me a gift certificate Today's food was as always delicious and every new server needs to learn the ropes. The way managent reacted today was spot on, and I will return it to here often as a result

While stopping in Nashville on our drive back to Ohio, swung in for a quick dinner. Food was very good, I reccomend their French Dip and add bacon. Justin was our waiter and was excellent. We'll definitely stop again if ever in the area.

Place was backed from time we got there till we left. Had a party of 12 but they didn't take reservations so we just waited. MGMT was very helpful except while we were waiting would have been nice to have someone take our drink orders. Got sat 1/2 hr later and asked for happy hour, but missed it by 1 minute. Asked manager and he said sorry, it's a system thing so no go. Again, would have been nice of them to give us a discount in another format if he couldn't override the system, especially since we stood waiting for 1/2hr without offers to get us drinks. Food was iffy. My chicken nachos was eh, my wife's burger tasted great, veggie pizza was ok, fried pickles ok, chicken wings were good and the chicken tenders were mostly all breading with small amounts of chicken. So nothing special or exciting. Order taken quickly, food came out in 1/2 hr or so, had to ask manager for second round of drinks and waitress had to be waived down twice for drinks and checks. Left full, experience was less than desirable, need more hired hands to cover this busy of a place. Would also freshen up menu and change some current recipes for more mouth watering goodness.

We usually really enjoy going to this restaurant. But we're disappointed with our meal last night. Their chicken tenders seem to be much smaller in portion size. When ordering the chicken tender dinner it clearly states on the menu that you can add a (side) salad $4.99. we were charged $3.99 for the salad. When I pointed this out to the waitress, she stated that is only if you want to swap a side item for the salad. However, that's not what the menu says. It clearly states you can add a salad for a $1.99. She refused to change the ticket. I should have brought a manager into this situation, but we were in a hurry and the place was packed so we did not have time to wait for a manager. Disappointed to the point and I don't know if we will go back... :(
