First time here because we are from out of town. Love it in every sense. The Buffalo Mac and cheese is crazy good. The chicken tenders were amazing. We also ordered some wings which crispy despite there is not a single batter on it. We couldn't finished the fries with the tender basket. The other stuff was too good.

Very disappointed! Ordered 2 apps and 2 entrees. All were subpar. The fried pickles would have been great had they actually been hot. The buffalo Mac and cheese was so full of processed cheese product I could finish one. My tenders were laying in a pool of sauce and they were cold. The dry rub on the wings was nearly non existent, and they were also cold. The restaurant was not busy so I don’t understand the slow service and cold food.

When in the Nolensville/Antioch area you go to Prince's, or you go here. Nothing else comes close to the quality of chicken and sides found at Outlanders. Delicious sauces made in house, tender chicken, and buttery Texas toast will fill you up, and an (always) free cone of soft serve will cool you down. I highly recommend their take on Nashville hot chicken!

Love this place. Brian, the opener is ALWAYS there and greets everyone with a smile. I don't think he ever leaves. Staff is great. Love their fried pickles and selection of sauces. The fries are so great, I would go there for that alone.

Chicken is good, if they can find you to bring you your food. Not the smartest decision buying plastic picnic tables in the South that sit out in sun all day, they are too hot will burn you if you try to sit down!

It was our first time here. We ordered 6 piece wings and Nashville hot chicken. The chicken were good and so are the fries. The hot chicken is different than what we expected, but it was still delicious. Their Outlander sauce was also really good. We'll come back and try their other food!

this place had great chicken. We went twice and really liked it. The only reason I gave 3 stars and not 4 was it was super hot in the dining room area as we ate in late August and it felt the air did not work very well. But the food is terrific and staff was nice. Get their early in on Frid or Sat night they get very busy

I'd heard great things about Outlanders. Ordered take out, ala carte, 3pc. Chicken strips, 3 pc. Grilled chicken strips. Fried ones were good enough, grilled was incredibly disappointing. Tough, overcooked. There's a green egg grill out front, but not being used to "grill " chicken. It was $14 for 6 pieces of below average chicken. So disappointed, probably won't go back.

If you like chicken tenders, light, airy and seasoned just right Outlanders is your place. Their Chicken salad is full of flavor and grapes while rolled in a whole wheat flatbread. The grilled chicken atop of a fully loaded bed of greens is delicious! Most all entrees are accompanied with a hefty serving of what we call shoestring fries. Enjoy your time even more if the kids take a handful of quarters to play the duck game. End your meal with a complimentary tee-niny vanilla cone. Perfect way to end the evening and not feel too guilty!

If you have never been to this store you need to! It has some of the best chicken ever! If you go here I recommend a chicken tender tossed in Buffalo sauce with blue cheese on the side, it is so good! I would also recommend there Mac and cheese balls they are also so good! And there fries are amazing probably the best fires I have ever had!

Previously McDougals, this is still the same great place just a different name. It's quite popular for a good reason. Pro-tip, try tossing the tenders in their honey hot and use a little ranch on the side. So good!

This was not meant to be a 1! Android must have requested a review while the phone was unlocked in a pocket. I've enjoyed Outlanders on many occasions and will continue to do so. Once, accidentally ordered 5x too many tenders because I was in a rush. Though I got a catering tray full of tenders, I enjoyed them for a week straight.

The chicken was okay, bread was good, French fries looked old. 3 tenders cost 7.99 without a drink. For two people to eat it cost 21.80 that's two 3 tender meals and drinks.... A bit much for what you get. The inside of the restaurant is small, like really small. It's not a comfortable place to eat when you are a family or if you have small children. If I go again we will split a meal, that seems to be the best way to go and we will eat outside or take it to go. I give it two stars because of cost and the eat in experience felt like I was a sardine crammed into a can.

This place is the BEST for chicken tenders and their in-house sauces. The fried buffalo Mac-N-Chz balls with the Habanero Ranch, rock! The staff was outstanding and very quick to serve. Shout out to the kitchen for the awesome prepared food. It was all great!

This is a cool spot to eat, but the food is nothing to write home about. They have meaty chicken tenders, though generally bland. Their fries are excellent when they aren't overcooked. A great meal at Outlanders is a 3.5star. A poor meal is a 2 star. A typical meal is a 3 star. Unfortunately the price is far too expensive for a 3 star meal. It can easily run $30 for 2 people (chicken basket, fried chicken salad, 2 drinks). To top it off, there is a tip jar at the counter, despite no service existing to tip. Its a fun spot to eat, but for a place that is challenging to park in (they won't fix pot holes in the gravel parking lot), I get the feeling of being gouged when I meet friends there.

Great food and service. Sat outside with our German Shepherd and the staff that brought our food was super quick and nice. Owner also came out to chat with us and was extremely friendly to our dog. Great atmosphere and the pet friendly touch made it a great experience.

Nice small town quaint atmosphere. The chicken tenders were good, probably about what you would expect. Nothing particularly stands out about the place. It has nice outdoor seating, under the roof and open air patio. I like that they have Mills Creek brewery beer, 3 options on draught.

Holding on to the McDougal's tradition. Great people too. I made an order and due to a computer glitch it was not posted to the chef. I inquired about my order after 30 minutes and was informed of the situation and refunded my money. My order was made perfectly.

50 bucks for mediocre food, fried pickles were not very good, the nashville hot chicken is more dry than the others Ive tried, thickly coated in dry spice. my habanero ranch didn’t seen any more different than normal ranch. the highlight of the meal was the french fries.

Always an enjoyable, family centered experience. The food is always fresh, consistently delicious, and don't forget the mini ice cream cone afterwards! The kids (and adults) will have a great time playing the claw machine trying to win ducks! It's a great small town, cozy atmosphere!

The food is good. I got the 3 piece basket and could not finish it. The only thing that I have yo complain about is the 2 women rinninhvthe front counter looked unprofessional. There shirts where so long that is looks like they are not wearing anything under the shirt. They need to have a dress code or have on shorter shirts on.

Hands down the best wings in this area! Fries are incredible also. We drive quite a distance to get great wings.. wish they'd come back to Franklin! The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Not the largest place but seating is comfortable (and they have outdoor seating also). If you like Buffalo Wings the way they were meant to be, this is your place!

Came in from out of town. When I first walked in, my husband and I didn't know if we should wait for seating or seat ourselves. There may be a sign but we never saw it so we stood there for a few minutes before I had to ask the young girl up front at drink station if she worked there and if we should just sit. She apologized and told us to pick a seat. I wasn't up set, as she seemed busy but maybe there should be a sign or if there is one, maybe make it more obvious as we were looking and didn't see one. The food was good, fair prices and the place was clean. The only thing that bothered me was that the poor young girl there was alone up front, she had to clean tables, taker orders, bring orders and everything else besides make the food. Several men kept bugging her, even older men. She handled herself well and was polite but maybe she should have a second person out front in case she was uncomfortable. As when we left, and oder man was watching her clean tables a little too closely

Really outstanding looks like a bar outside but this is a family friendly restaurant. It has a eclectic collection of unique stuff on the walls but it doesn't feel old. They do sell local beers and some big brewery staples. Now the food they have a very simple menu they obviously focus on a few simple items and do them extremely well. I had "the yard bird sale" huge tender tenders, boneless wings, classic wings all in you choice of homemade sauces and dry rubs and don't forget the fried Mac and cheese ball. The only thing I would change it the thick toast I would have liked to be garlic bread. The restaurant was clean the staff was friendly and inviting. We will definitely be going back again next time we drive down 8 hours from Chicago.

The food was great! The plump all white hand breaded juicy chicken tenders were amazing! Not a large beer selection. Only two on tap but at least they were local and they tasted great. The staff however was lacking. They seemed more inclined to hangout and talk amongst themselves than to check on or talk to the customers. If they get their customer experience on point this place will be a huge local contender.

What a fun place to eat! It exudes down home country Nolensville charm. It is located above an auto repair shop - cool.. The chicken fingers we're delicious. The different sauces were a cornacopia of sweet and spicy flavors. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

First time today. Understood fried chicken was their specialty. So I ordered $9 - 3pc Tender Basket. Fries soggy,uncooked. Tenders were fresh but were ridiculously small (1.5"x4.5") dry and nothing special. One could get just as good chicken if not better at the local gas station for 1/2 the price! Was disappointed, wouldn't recommend.

This restaurant has changed names several times, but it's not because of the quality food. The chicken tenders are possibly the best on Nashville. The buffalo Mac and cheese is great too. The atmosphere is fun and the place usually has lots of folks here, which is a testament to the food quality. Service is good too.
