Well tried eating here AGAIN after a year and well I will definitely not be back. We (9 people) first went in everything was fine then my son gets a salad and there's hair in it. We let that go didn't say nothing then we got our rolls and it had hair(s) on top so we said something to the waitress, she never took the rolls and all she said was I'll talk to the manager. My son asked her for more rolls and she said you already have some and handed him the rolls we just told her had hair on them and she walked away. She then comes back and asks if we want desert or our ticket hateful and my husband says I guess the ticket. She goes gets The ticket and comes back and slams it on the table and says y'all have a good rest of you night hateful!! I go talk to the manager (Which is a kid 18 or 19 maybe) and she informs me that the owner is her dad. She did however look scared :( hated that part but not once was there a I'm sorry let me take your sons plate off or ANYTHING.. We ask for the owners number and was first told oh we can t do that then I tell them it's laws that's says they have to and finally they give me a number and I get a call which I still believe it was young man who called back not the owner/dad. He did say I'm sorry at least. We drive from Brownsville tn to go eat and this happens and not so much as a I'm sorry let me make it up or anything while we was there. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! Kids should not be left to attend to businesses unless they are trained.

The food was what can be expected of a buffet. The steaks were seasoned decently, if you like salt. However, there was almost no one at the station that handed out the steaks which could be upsetting when you pay $14+ for the "Steak Buffet". The waitresses were kind and did their job well, but we had several different waitresses during the whole visit which got a bit confusing. The decor was true to the name and the restaurant was clean.

By far the nastiest food in town. I couldn't find one edible item period to eat. I gave up and fixed a salad only to find the dressings offered were some sort of gelatin substance. Absolutely disgusting and way over priced. The waitresses were very sweet and the only good part of this visit. Please do not waste your money here.

One of their employees actually held onto Ladies to help them out the door? So...they KNOW it's slippery, but do not intend to make changes to fix the issue? First I want to say I hate buffets I always have and even more so as an adult. But this is a really great place it has good food way better than expected and the guy who cooks steaks knows how to cook one and that’s a big deal from a girl from Texas. You don’t need steak sauce because it’s that good. It’s very clean and all the stuff is fresh and you have the option to eat off a menu or buffet and put service was the best since moving to TN.

I'm here from Oklahoma visiting family was wanting to treat them to a good meal so they suggested this restaurant so needless to say we tried it. We walked in the hostess was rude as a matter of fact there were only two young ladies that spoke to us one was our waitress we had was great .out of all the times I've been to Dyersburg I've never had a worse experience in a restaurant. I asked for coffee with creamer they were out so I asked for milk I was given 2 little plastic to go containers that u would put butter in and trust me the food is not worth what I paid. They need to train their staff to greet every one with a smile and a hello. as a customer we pay your bills so look hard at your business.

We have eaten there several times. This visit wasn't the best. We had the buffet. The steak was good but many of the items on the food bar were warm at best. The fried fish and the frog legs were actually cold. They need to turn the food warmers up. The environment and staff were as good as always.

It took about an hour to get seated, thirty minutes to get our drinks. We were seated and left we no waitress no one ever came back to take our drink order until we saw another waitress pass by and we told her. They never brought rolls to our table even after we requested them. We were never told about the specials they had today. We overheard it being told to some other people as they we being seated. Some of the food was good,but the fried chicken was very salty,could not eat it. If we choose to come back, I hope the service is better. The tips would have been nice, but the service could have been better handle. We all ordered from the buffet.

This place has great food, especially their fish. They have a variety of meats, vegetables and sides to choose from (their rolls are absolutely delicious). They also have some great desserts. Buffet is the way to go because there is so much to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They smile when they see you and speak to you or have a whole conversation with you. I would definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant was clean and the staff that assisted us were nice and friendly. I had the buffet which was very average. Not terrible, but not anything to get excited about. There is an option to order from the menu, so I will probably go there at least once more to try menu food. I had what I think was something like coconut custard cake and it was FANTASTIC! I don't know about menu prices, but buffet was very reasonable at $9.

Could not have all for a better experience food was absolutely awesome, everything from the dining area, buffet area, as well as the restrooms were reasonably clean, and functioned as expected. Two of us enjoyed a great Sunday evening it at the old West steakhouse. We will definitely return again soon. A $35.00 ticket was not bad at all considering the variety on the all-u-can-eat "STEAK"buffet. Complete with fish fillets and peel-&-eat shrimp, and to many down home classics to mention. The only time I was in impressed , would be that the desert bar left me wanting more and the two young servers flirting with the single table (before his guest showed up). That was kinda tacky, but what can you say... Young folks these days:) will refer friends for a great meal in a great atmosphere, at a great price.

The restaurant is a feast for the eyes. They really did a great job of creating a old west atmosphere. The buffet offered an abundance of food to choose from. Everything I tried was good. The steak was excellent, the rolls and butter sublime, the strawberry shortcake was perfect. The price was an incredible bargain. We will definitely be going back often.

We went to have Easter dinner there. If you want steak or frog legs off buffet be read to make several trips because guy will only give you very small portions.he would only give two frog legs at time. Now that may be fine for some people but to me I pay that much for All- You- Can-Eat buffet I should be able to get what I want with having to go back 50 times. Other than that it is a beautiful place on the inside.

The salad bar was as good as usual. The food we ordered off the menu was not as good as before. Not much flavor, took longer than usual to get our order. I love their tortellini alfredo with chicken. This time no chicken and not alfredo sauce. My husband's steak was not tender and the shrimp had no flavor. Asked for rolls and they didn't bring any. We were disappointed this visit.

First of all; It is rare that I leave feedback on how satisfied/unsatisfied my visits are with local small businesses. My opionion should not determine if you are going to visit or not visit. We all have different experiences and ideas of what things should be and how people should do them.... So... With that said I am so glad I ignored the TOP negative comment about this place and went ahead and decided to give it a try. Why has it taken me nearly 38 years of living on the planet earth to find THE BEST STEAKHOUSE/Restaurant I have ever been to? Seriously! This place is beyond a five star rating. I visited with my husband this afternoon and we both agree the food is beyond phenomenal. I chose the Fathers Day All-You-Can-Eat-Buffett and he chose the Surf & Turff from the menu. Even though he was completely satisfied with his order I could see small tears of regret starting to form from the corners of both of his eyes. What was his regret? It was choosing NOT to order the Fathers Day All-You-Can-Eat-Buffett. There is always next year! With joking aside, this really is the BEST place I have ever eaten in my life! We will be returning regularly.

Super good buffet(which includes sirloin steak grilled to your tatse at certain times) and very good menu that offers the best hand cut, aged steaks at a reasonable price in Dyersburg. Salad and dessert bars that will not disappoint! Very good atmosphere and clean dining rooms. One of my top 3 places to dine in Dyer County.

Salad bar had a good selection but cucumbers were mushy and ranch dressing was runny. Food selection was good but the food had no flavor, and the fried popcorn shrimp was cold. The peach cobbler was a major disappointment. Hambuger steak and fresh rolls with STRAWBERRY BUTTER was great. Not worth the drive for the food. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean.

Ok, I previously posted a bad review. In hindsight I believe that I came in at a bad time. The Friday night steak and country buffet is the best buffet that I have ever eaten. Hands down bar none. The waitress was superb the rolls were hot and delicious. There are some boneless chicken things that look like they are buffalo chicken but they aren't. Its almost like orange chicken strips. The tenderloin was so tender you could easily cut it with the side of a fork. 2 complaints in the entire bar, the mac and cheese was runny and the coconut pie was.. different. The rest was awesome. Family fare, reasonably priced.

We went late on Friday night and the steak was the tenderest I have had there. Service was great and so was the food except for the fish, which was greasy and a bit fishy tasting and the baked potatoes. I am not sure how to keep them on a steam table, but I wish they were hot and creamy rather than lukewarm and chunky. BTW, that was the first time the fish wasn't up to par.

It started off poorly, and the rest is partly my fault for not leaving right away. Fifteen feet inside the door the floors became extremely slippery, like walking on ice. It was like they were mopped with Crisco. Should have left then. We all had the buffet, so that's all I know of their food. All the food was cold. Meats that should be moist were dry, and the fried chicken that should be crisp was soggy. The strawberry-butter and rolls is delicious, but that's hardly a reason to return here.

We never get our rolls when we are 1st seated they come around after you have eaten half of your dinner and then they tell you it will be 5 minutes and by that time you have finished your meal. They do not keep the food bars replenished. You are always scraping the bottom of the pan.

Not worth the price. First piece of little steak was salty, the next one was hard and chewy. Corn tasted like it had sugar in it. Green beans tasted sour. My daughters brownie was hard. The only good thing was the chocolate fudge cake they had. Don't waste your time or money.
