new owners have been there for about 5 years. when they kept the name , it took quite a while to overcome the bad reputation. now its my go to spot couple times a week! cant beat happy hour mon.> thurs. 2 for 1 beer and margaritas, great service ,friendly people, very good food. very open atmosphere with huge tequila selection. FYI...try the sliced fried jalapenos, sooo good !

The people here are so nice and the food is okay but I honestly would just come for the drinks order a large Margarita and it was 95% of alcohol and 5% margarita mix the best way to have it one drink was enough so u get your moneys worth

The pollo con queso that we ordered had no cheese dip in it like it’s suppose to. The cheese dip we paid for tasted like soap/salt was mixed into it. My Taco was stale and barely had any lettuce or cheese on it. Hell it didn’t even have hardly any meat either. It was the first time we ever had this place and we will never be back! It may ruin Mexican food for us for the rest of our lives is how bad it was. We love Mexican food too. So disappointing.

This little place has won me over. Over the years they have gotten better and better. Value is best around. Fajitas, quesadillas, chips and salsa, and chimi, always great. Inexpensive, quick, friendly and the meals always come to the table correctly! Highly recommend.

First time here today and service and food was great. I tried the seafood special. Only things I'd recommend is making the salsa just a little more spicy and hanging the paper towel holder up in the ladies room. Overall I enjoyed my visit.

This is a good lunch spot. They just updated the seating about a week ago. One thing keeps us coming back though, it's the creamy jalapeno sauce. You can dip your tortilla chips in it or add it to a chimichanga or chile pablano. Those are my favorite dishes here.

My family and I eat here frequently because its right down the street. If we want Mexican food this is where we come! The food is flavored very well and the service (In restaurant) is very good and fast! The only issue we have is when we order take out... You have to always check your order because 1 out of every 3 times we have ordered take out they always end up messing it up. Like for instance if you order no lettuce or sour cream they send it out how it originally comes. A couple of times we didn't notice until we had already got home and they did replace what was messed up. Never had a bad in restaurant experience they are great but just always check your take out.

Food was good, last night was the first time we visit. We arrived late but they accommodated our party of 15 it was a quick late bday dinner for a friend. What i loved most was the drinks!!!!! The Michelada especial OMG! That was so tasty! We will go back for the drinks and to try some more of their menu.

If i could give it no stars i would was a regular customer until tonight the waitress got smart gave us the wrong food and then when I said something about it got an attitude and then I said don't worry about it I just won't come back and she said okay good and walked off manager apologize but with the rudeness I just don't think that was enough customer service sucks I will not dinne at this place ever again i dont know what change but very sad we lost a once great restaurant

I be stuck at work for 12 hours and I go right to door dash and get their carne asada..with wings. I'm from California and grew up off authentic Mexican food..so I just love hitting that check out button. Great food.

6 years been going to this place and have seen ownership changed multiple times. Food taste changes too as service. It's up and down for us for this restaurant. It's good enough for casual Mexican food. Always check your take out before leaving the counter. (This is based on experience ordering from them one weekend a month for 5 years). Best time was the ownership 6 years ago. Food was great, service was with a smile always, and they learn regular customers.

We still love to come here, from Murfreesboro. Great service 9/10 times, still very good the other 1/10 times. Portions are large, food is flavorful.

I don't know if the ownership has changed recently or what but the service has gone down. They try to nickel and dime on everything. I ordered a taco and added onions like I usually do at no cost. Well lately they have been charging $1.00 to add onion and $2.00 to add lettuce and tomato to a taco salad!?! The food tastes good, but I'm not willing to pay these extra ridiculous up-charges.

Once again having not visited this place for at least 3 years, Mi Cancun has again been able to deliver this same lame, customer ignoring service, consistent in years past. The reason why you can always get a table right away on Friday nights or Saturday nights is because most of the people that come here who don't expect to have a good dining experience, have their expectations met with flying colors. The menu is prices FAIL TO meet the quality of the food served and most assuredly DO NOT measure up to the absolute third rate service attempted. If you are satisfied with a meager basket of chips (there is a limit, they are not bottomless), tasteless salsa and just want an alcoholic beverage and Nachos, this is your place Taco Bell has higher standards, better service, more courteous staff and a much tastier menu for your buck. Save your money and guaranteed time wasted and visit #MiCaminoReal who is a 1/3d of the cost, 100% better service and tasty, tasty food with a staff that is genuinely pleased to make your dining experience the best one deserves! FAIL

The food here is fantastic! The service is awful! We sat down, ordered about 10min later waited 25min for food, and no the restaurant was not busy. 3 other tables. Then after we got our food our waitress was sitting at a table with other employees chatting. Never came for refills, to ask how everything was or anything. 30min later we had to get up and go get boxes and our check from her at that table. I am pissed about the entire situation.
