Affordable meals. Very conveniently located just off Franklin Road in Brentwood. It is very easy to call in a to-go order and pick it up shortly after. The staff is great and is very well organized when it comes to preparing the meals.

This place a so-so for Mexican. Their salsa tastes like somebody is in the back mixing together cocktail sauce and ketchup. But they're quick with the food and it's good for large groups. No Cholula though, checking that off in con column.

Mazarlan is a Mexican restaurant in Brentwood Tn. It has the usual Mexican decor and flvor. However the food is lively and good. It is fresh and with quick service. The parking lot could stand some updates but I went at night and hard to see. Otherwise good rating.

Visiting from southern California and being a frequent mexico traveler I was optimistic. Service was good, margarita was fine. I loved the atmosphere and staff was great. Then the food. Salsa good, preformed cold taco shell ? So disappointed. The enchilada cheese tasted like process cheese.

My experience was good...not great. A frozen margurita in my mind comes in a frozen mug or a refrigerated glass for obvious reasons. Tasted really good but didn't stay frozen long at all. My food was well prepared and very good, and tasted like a chimichanga is supposed to. The wife's beef fajitas arrived barely warm (not sizzling) and in 3 different intervals. She had to wait a while for her tortillas. Unacceptable. Very few patrons onsite, so why the wait? Step-son had a Taco salad that he left disappointed in due to lack of taste and water content. Probably off of the lettuce, but at least it was clean lettuce. Still..he left remembering a better food experience at Mazatlan.These issues are all fixable. Mazatlan can be a great experience again. As for now....many restaurants are ahead in quality. That includes Taco Bell.

When I went I had the fajitas and they were amazing, they also have buffet on weekends with all authentic Mexican food. It’s a great place for families due to the large space and seating availability. The staff is great when you’re you finish your drink they quickly notice and give you a refill. It’s also wheelchair accessible which is a must In all restaurants I believe overall a great restaurant, I would definitely come back to this place again.

By far the best Mexican food in Brentwood. My wife and I love everything we've tried. Come hungry because they give you more than enough. The portions are large and almost always take them home to eat later on. Been eating there for 8 years and are never disappointed. Great service and a cool environment.

Really loved this place until yesterday 7-9-14. While being seated at a table the party at the next table were extremely loud and I understand that kids will be kids. I kindly asked if we could be seated in another section. Well the host snatched the menus off the table and huffed, rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breathe. If you start my experience with your establishment in this manor then you cannot have my hard earned money. He was very nasty so we left and when to another Mexican Restaurant and will never step foot in there again. Sometime people have bad days but he was over the top rude!

We eat here frequently - the food is good and the service is always prompt and polite. Tonight, I ordered a half order of Jim's Nachos. My server accidentally brought me a full order of Jim's Nachos. This really wasn't a big deal, as the price difference is only several dollars - I would have gladly paid it. About 5 minutes into enjoying my dinner, my server returned to our table and pulled my plate out from under me AS I WAS EATING FROM IT. At this point, he explained that I was given the incorrect size. I assured him that I was fine with paying the additional $2-3 for the full order, but he did not budge. They returned with a new plate - a half order of Jim's nachos. I hope they threw away the plate I had already taken several bites from, though this is doubtful considering the general cleanliness of the restaurant, and how forcefully it was removed from my table. The manager did not seem to care when I brought the situation up with him, merely stating that "I was given the incorrect order." I will never be back to this disgusting, shameful restaurant.

awesome, we stopped for some dinner on the way down south and they were extremely gracious, we had a party of 9 and ordered some double fajitas to share and they were so kind, they gave us extra tortillas and everything. 10/10 recommend. we got out of there for less than $50.

Service was pretty good. However our waiter spoke little English, so ordering was a bit of a challenge. I had the Tequilas. One beef which was very good and one chicken, which was quite dry. My husband had the Fajita Salad, and said it was very good. And the Fajita meat and veggies in it we're plentiful. Good chips and Salsa. I gave it three stars rather than four based on condition. The restaurant could use some major updates. Flooring, bathrooms etc. That being said I would still go back for the food.

Incredible value at this restaurant. Great prices and HUGE portions. Very generous with their meat servings and have GREAT lunch portions from 11 am - 3 pm. Nice wait staff as well. Quick service too. Clean restaurant. I’m a traveler, but would come back if I was in town again.

Food is good and service is usually pretty good but unfortunately tonight marks the second time I've seen a water bug. First time was in April this year in the bathroom and blew it off as a freak thing. Then tonight it got really quiet in the restaurant as we were the last people finishing up dinner and a water bug crawled up the booth. We are grossed out!!

Some of the least authentic Mexican food I've had in awhile. The ground beef tasted like it was from a Prego can, the guacamole was blended with so much cream I could not taste avocado, and the margarita tasted just, um, cheap. The best part of the meal was the chips that came with the salsa. They were crispy and tasted good.

Service get 1 star, food is not even mexican . The beef burrito is a rolled piece of ground beef. Nothing else is in it. TACO beef and cheese nothing else. Only positive is the sell alcohol to was it down.

Been a customer for 15+ years, but have never dined in. With most other places, when I pick up a food order, something is always left off or missing. This has never been the case here...even when I continue to order extra this and a side of that. I have never been disappointed with the quality or quantity of the food here... The steak and chicken fajitas are amazing, and if I order extra tortillas, I can make 3 meals! Job well done Mazatlan!

The guacamole is phenomenal! Creamy and not extra chunky like a lot of places. The complimentary salsa is also great. I ordered the chicken chimichanga which was quite large with juicy chicken inside. My server was attentive and friendly. The restaurant wasn't busy when I went, which was nice. The prices are standard Mexican restaurant prices. This is definitely a new staple (when I'm in this area). Highly recommend.

Not sure why, but the last two times I've gone there they haven't put almost any cheese on the jim nachos. Like maybe a tablespoon of queso on one side and the rest of the rice was dry. They also have changed their guacamole and it is not recommended... It's now a very thin puree that doesn't taste or look like it actually has avocados in it.

If you are looking for a top level Mexican restaurant this is not the place. If however you are looking for an affordable lunch with some of the best salsa around you can't go wrong here. Great lunch specials and a staff that always takes care of their guests. This is usually our go to place for Mexican in Brentwood. Give it a try if you have the chance.

My Mom ordered beef and chicken fajitas and was given beef fajitas. We had to ask for the chicken. I asked a worker for some salsa verde and it was a big deal that took a while to get since no one brought it. Our waitor was sitting down chatting with another customer. It was a big deal to split the check. When I went up there to split the bill she gave me a hard time and acted like I was trying not to pay. This was my birthday meal and I don't want to go back. By the way, I worked in the Restaurant business for at least 5 years. That's not how I treat customers. I was even afraid to eat the salsa verde. Other than that the food was good. We went there for lunch today Tuesday September 26, 2017.

Ordered the carnitas dinner and the pork was nothing but charred to a crisp or fat. The refried beans & rice were okay but their sauce was more like a mild tomato sauce. Portion size & price were just fine but couldn’t eat the burnt meat. When I complained to the server he mumbled something and walked off.
