This was our second visit to this restaurant. Our first visit was not up to par but we always give restaurants a second chance. It was an awful experience. We had three different waitresses. None of which spoke good English. We ordered Patron margaritas and they were so sweet you could not even drink them and they were like orange juice. We had the bartender remake them and they were just as bad if not worse.. we waited 20 minutes before they even took our food order and then food was just okay nothing special. We will not be returning to this restaurant...ever.

Sat for 15 minutes before the drink order was taken. Then ordered food. 40 minutes later no food. I was told they had a large order that would make our food delayed even more. Talk about terrible service!!!!

We live nearby, and there are many Mexican restaurants in the area. The people and atmosphere here along with the delicious food make this one the best. Always fast delivery of your orders. It's made us regulars at the restaurant.

My husband and I ate here for the first time last night. We WILL be back often, as the food and service were spot on! We were seated immediately, the chips/salsa was placed on our table as we sat down, and orders were taken from there. Our waiter was so attentive and friendly and the food was JUST SO GOOD!

Went with party of 9. Seated quickly. The guacamole dip made table side was extremely good. Split an order of fajitas carnitas with my spouse, extremely tender meat well seasoned and veggies were firm, not overcooked. Highly recommend after our first visit.

We were there for a while and no one refilled our drinks and the waitress had to keep asking what we ordered and still got it wrong on a couple. The only upside is they didn't put everything on our check which probably wasn't intentional. It was just a mess

This is my daughter's favorite Mexican restaurant, and she is very picky! Kids try the little chicken loco!I have tried several other entrees. Carne Asada, Taco salad, Quesadillas.... All very good. Also there is a Sunday lunch buffet that is a great value. Friendly staff..... All places have good and bad days, but here they are consistently positive experience overall.

This is only the second time I've been because the first time was not good either. The service was slow both times. This time we waited about 20 minutes for food (which is slow for Mexican food) and my order was wrong. The replacement order only took about 5 minutes... Overall I have not been impressed. The beef chimichanga is not as good as other places and definitely not as big. My sister loves this place though.

We used to love this place. However, there is a new manager who isn’t very personal. Food isn’t near as good; it appears the manager is trying to cut costs as servings are smaller. Margarita specials are a dollar more as well. We have tried it three times since the new manager and we were dissatisfied. The regular bartender was waiting tables and a new bartender and the manager were making drinks. They used table salt on the margaritas. How does a bartender not know to use margarita salt? It’s common sense. Maybe a new manager will take over. Until then, we most likely won’t return. The rest employees are great though and we will miss their friendly service.

I've tried to enjoy this restaurant time and time again. We've come for work outings, happy hour drinks, and I've attempted to order lunch to-go; each time, I end up disappointed. I give one star for the quality of food and speediness that it is prepared. However, the service provided and overall customer experience is lacking. When it's difficult to even call in a lunch order, it's just not worth it. Coworkers and I have come for after-work drinks and it often takes 20 minutes to receive the first round. Cocktails are also hit-or-miss depending on the day. I'd rather go to Cinco down the road for better service and better margaritas.

Absolutely great. Service excellent and the best chorizo authentic tacos I have had in the US. My wife and I were at the Mt. Juliet location. Drinks were very good and great prices. Highly recommend. Wish they had a restaurant in the Opryland or Donelson area.

Cold food, out of things on Buffett at peak time, cold cheese dip, old food, even water tasted weird and food just not as tasty. Spoke to mgr and he offered nothing. Very disappointing and more than likely won't be hack. Used to he one of our favorite spots.

My husband and I recently had dinner at Los Compadres. We've eaten here several times and have generally had decent food but sketchy service.. This was the last straw.. Our server was extremely inattentive. We sat on the patio, so I realize we were out of the direct line of sight but that should not be an excuse. We are not impatient people, but twice my husband had to go to the bar to find out where our server was and to let her know we needed attention. The first time was because I arrived late, yet waited nearly 10 minutes before she appeared to even offer me something to drink. The second was when we waited an interminable length of time to get the check after finishing our meal. In addition, she was not friendly and gave off a vibe that we were putting her out by being there. We won't be going back any time soon, if ever. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

I went to this restaurant with my family at my mother's request she had been there before it was absolutely fantastic. They advertised guacamole made table-side we ordered two portions of it and our server made it in the back room near the bar but other people made it at the table side that was disappointed we did not get it made table side as described. If it had been made table side this would be a 5-star review.

Been going here with Daughters family for many years. Since Management change about a year ago it is a hit or miss Mexican Restaurant. We prefer Cinco De Mayo anytime. Food isn't consistent and neither are Margaritas. Depends on waiter on service. Too rushed when taking your order for 6 which includes a 2 and 5 year old....

A bit too expensive for the quality of the food and understaffed most days. Phone always rings and rings and sometimes have to call multiple times just to place an order. When we're finally able to order, we get told 20 minutes for pickup but usually still have to wait (sometimes up to 30 additional minutes past that time). Our to-go orders have been wrong and/or cold the last 3-4 times (We usually order about once a week). After calling to speak to a manager, the phone was left sitting off the hook for 10 minutes while staff laughed in the background. After calling back AGAIN the manager was very unpleasant and offered a 10% discount. Please keep your $3 discount, we will not be returning. If you want to test this review, try to place your own to-go order.

Walked in, restaurant half full, and waited for a host. After almost 10 minutes, I asked a server walking by if it was a self-seating restaurant and they said no and walked on. A couple minutes later we finally got seated. Server was standoffish, and forgot part of the order. Nachos arrived cold, indicating the server let the food sit. Again, this place was not busy. Nachos were bland and the cheese was partially still in a solid chunk on the top, not melted. Steak and peppers were overcooked and very little flavor. They get 2 stars because the Margaritas were cheap and strong.

Went here for the buffet. I'm a huge fan if Mexican food but let's be honest no matter what you get it's beef or chicken in some sort of tortilla with cheese or veggies on it. Yet somehow this place manages to make it all taste unique and special. Also for ten dollars you get a lot of variety on the buffet. Everything from a beef taco to bananas foster made right infront of you. Buffet has cheese sauce on it so you can drown your sorrow in delicious gooey cheese which is always a plus. They have a great green sauce also. Plus even chicken nuggets and French fries on the buffet for the kiddos. The margaritas here have to have like extra booze on them because 1 got me.buzzed and I'm a big guy which is crazy. Do recommend you try this place.
