Lakeside Tavern is in a pretty setting at the marina. The food is good, but neither of us got what we ordered. I overheard several guests at tables around us saying their orders were incorrect. No one came around to ask about our meal. We were a party of 2 seated on the patio with several large parties. It was loud, and the Christmas music was blaring. We had to keep repeating ourselves. Inside the restaurant was a better dining atmosphere. No one was friendly or welcoming.

We have been going to Lakeside Tavern for years. The food is always good no exceptions. This is where we bring out of town guests. The salmon and steaks are a good choice. The staff are friendly and professional. We like to sit by the big windows over looking the water. The atmosphere is casual but elegant

This is a fantastic restaurant perched high on top of a hill over looking a marina and a lake. Very efficient staff Excellent menu with a wide variety of wonderful dishes. Outdoor seating is also available and they have a great bar which you can eat at as well. The service was excellent, we had a table with 12 people during UT graduation weekend and we were seated quickly. The wait staff was very good and the food was very good. I would highly recommend and would definitely come back.

We sat outside for brunch on Sunday. The view is beautiful and the covered patio doesn’t get too hot. The brunch buffet had a great selection: waffle bar, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, hash brown casserole, mac and cheese, turkey, prime rib, salmon, chicken fingers, meatballs, green beans, potatoes, pizza, and more. The dessert area had assorted cheesecakes, key lime pie, fondue fountain, cookies, apple pie, and more. For all that was offered it was a good value.

This is one of my favorite destinations in Knoxville. The food is always great in the atmosphere is delightful. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a great view of the river and marina. I had the black and blue salad, which was very satisfying. We had the onion ring and tuna appetizers as well. The onion ring are really great and you should try them if you go. This reastaurant has a diverse menue with something for everyone.

DELICIOUS! I have to say this is what every dining experience should be. I ordered the fish and chips. Served steaming hot, lightly battered.. oh so good.. and remained hot and flakey to the end. $14.99. No beachside restaurant can beat this dish. 100% Husband ordered the tuna warm outside with a cool center. He said it was awesome. In reality I was so focused on my meal I forgot to look at the details. I do have the photos. Plenty of outdoor seating along the lake. Spacious indoors. Only one down fall Lakeside Tavern the hallway outside the restrooms... Needs to be addressed. Shu

The food was great and we really liked our server. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because we felt rushed the entire time. We arrived early (about 5:30) to beat the rush. Our appetizers came out super fast (which is fine) but then salads came out about 3 minutes later (we had barely made a dent in the two apps at this point) and the entrees came out before we had finished the salads. On top of that, our table was rarely bussed, so we felt like everything was very cluttered. Three courses (plus drinks) and a paid check and we were in and out in just over an hour. We also noticed that the guy who sat us was wandering around the whole time with an iPad, our guess is that he was providing real time updates on how far along everyone was on their meal. Maybe we shouldn't have sat on the patio? This would be a 5 star review if not for the feeling that they just wanted to turn the table over and get us out. Having just recently moved back to Knoxville after many years away, we had fond memories of the Riverside Tavern in college. Maybe ownership has changed or maybe it's the different location, but I don't think I'll be back unless its just happy hour drinks.

The view from the windows was so peaceful as the tavern looks out over the lake. The sky was clear, so we got to watch the sunset while we ate. That was some of the best chicken I've eaten in a while, and the wait staff was very kind. I will definitely be back next time I'm in TN.

We don't get to Farragut as often as we'd like, but when we do. one of the must do's is the Lakeside Tavern. This time I had their steak and it was done just right: red and cool in the center; in other words, I asked for rare and GOT rare. The others at the table enjoyed their meals as well - Lakeside is prepared for any age, even 3 and 7 year olds! The views of the lake and marina are beautiful. So is the service and staff attitude. Our tall waiter got down on one knee to talk to us at our level - I've never seen that before!

I thought it was good. Hashbrown casserole was lacking I thought. Wanted an omelet and for the price I expected some country ham and sausage, more meat. Prime rib was dry and 2 oz was all they would serve...the rest of the food was bulky and tasted like it was prepared that way

The view is lovely and the bar/bartenders are great. I've never had poor service the times I've gone. Basic American fare with a Gluten Free menu that is nicely varied. The food, however, is not 5-star: the burgers have gristle/bone bits, the fries are just ok, and the chicken is tough.

This restaurant has a georgous view of the lake. The meal started with delicious roasted cauliflower. The Black and Blue salad was very tasty with just the right amount of blue cheese. It was filling and delightful with a glass of wine. The service was exceptional. I plan to return shortly with my wife.

Easter Brunch is always great. So many choices at the buffet, from eggs,potato casserole and GOOD bacon to prime rib, turkey dinner, salmon, salad,fruit, AMAZING desserts (CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!!!), and 3,yes, 3 dollar mimosas. Great view and you can skate off your full belly next door at the skate park, or bring the pooch and go to the giant dog run! Worth the wait as it is usually crowded, at least on holidays. Drink service outside.

We never could imagine that there could be such a hidden gem in Knoxville. It was a pleasant surprise to reach there and find such a fine restaurant with breath taking views overlooking the lake and beyond the lake were rail lines which occasionally had a train zooming past in background. We were a big group and hence couldn't sit outside which is such a miss as it seemed to be a privilege. However sitting inside too wasn't too bad as all that separated the patio from the indoors was a glass partition.

The view and atmosphere is great, which is really the only reason to consider going. The service, especially from the hostesses is atrocious. We made a reservation for brunch on Sunday, were told a time. When we arrived as expected we were told a 30 min wait. If you can not manage your restaraunt in the front of the house I am pretty sure you can not throughout the rest. The Hostess was not friendly and basically said take it or leave it. We just left.

I hate to even write this post because this is one of my favorite places to do celebrations and do family events. We went to Lakeside for my oldest son's birthday we had a party of 10 and the service was less than, the food was average and it did not seem to matter to anyone that our experience was lacking. Do not get me wrong, every restaurant has their down days and that was definitely a down day. I will be back to give it another chance. I have very rarely been disappointed while eating at Lakeside Tavern.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The menu had a good and various types of food. The service was helpful and prompt. Whether inside or outside very relaxing atmosphere. I plan on returning to this place when ever in the area. The name is misleading. Not a typical tavern. I think of mainly drinks when I see "tavern" in the name.. The drinks are probably good, but I think their food is the highlight.

This staple restaurant of Concorde Park was pretty nifty and very tasty minus a tad bit of nasty service. The menu is pretty diverse without being too extensive and the prices are decent and expected for the type of restaurant. You can really have a great experience on the exterior of the building as there are some beautiful overlooks combined with wooden rocking chairs for a good time with people. There is even a rocking chair waiting area in front of the building but definitely do not miss the outside patio and chilling area in the back. The issue we had was there was a post wedding reception/dinner here and the manager wanted us to move a lot of gifts that were to be given with the reason being that people were needing to be seated there, however no one was seated there for another 45 minutes. Just a very big nuisance but could've been avoided for no apparent reason. It was such a beautiful Hispanic traditional wedding as well they did not have to be interrupted. Other than that there's plenty of space and can easily get crowded on the weekends. It is definitely easy to miss if you are traveling on North Shore also. Look for the baseball fields and doggie park and you won't miss it.

This is a really nice restaurant. Fairly cheap but really good quality food. Would highly recommend going to this place. It is kinda out of the way though but once you go d it you'll love it. In the summer you can sit on the river and watch the sun set and enjoy a nice meal.

This is one of my favorite places to come when my family is in town! We enjoy sitting outside, overlooking the marina (when it’s not too hot of course). I have gotten the chicken saint barts several times now & love it. I get it without capers, because I’m not a fan. The 2 chicken breasts are plenty to eat one, take one home, and delicious heated up! I do wish it came with a little more pasta. I always get the cheddar mashed potatoes- YUM! My parents have gotten the fish & chips, Aunt got the sirloin, and cousins have tried the Mediterranean pasta and the strawberry salad. All delicious! We had onion rings as an appetizer once and had tons left over & that was with sharing between 5 people. I don’t like onion rings but ate the crust off of it and it was such a great flavor! And the bread... oh my goodness, the bread! It is the best! It has a little sea salt on top & the butter is fresh and soft. I hate how most restaurants give you the cold butter in a wrapper anymore, and you can’t even spread it. I also tried the strawberry cake once and I’d honestly come here just for that! They do 30 minute call ahead & id highly recommend making a reservation if you’re coming on the weekend, or you’ll be waiting for over an hour.

Went there for 1st time for a work function. Location was a little out of the way but not hard to get to even at 5PM. The atmosphere was great as was the whiskey & beer on tap selection at the bar. This was a great place to stop and have a bite to eat! Food was excellent with the exception of the sweet potatoes (tastes like baby food sprinkled with crushed pecans) other than that it was good. Best clam chowder around and the salad was big enough to feed 4. Beautiful restaurant, only wish I could have seen it in the day. Staff was great and very professional, especially because we walked in right after a power outage.

First time coming out to this restaurant, and I have to say the ribeye tasted like charcoal, and when I got a new one, it wasn’t even close to done enough. I wanted a mid well. And it was still mooing. And it still tasted like charcoal. You can’t even taste the steak is was so bad. Wish I could give this restaurant a 0 star. I don’t recommend the key lime pie either.

The one place my daughter and her friends wanted to go for her birthday and they refused to take a reservation. They said to call 30 minutes ahead so we did and no one answered the phone. So when my daughter and her friends got there in a limo it was an hour and a half wait. This event has completely made up my mind about this establishment. Will not return.

Excellent restaurant with a fantastic water view. The food is great and the service is usually top-notch. On Sunday, they have a brunch with a wide variety of food. From a waffle station to carved meats. They also have options for kids that may not like a lot of the other choices. If you try to eat your money's worth at the brunch, you'll definitely be full the rest of the day.

The environment at Lakeside is great, though the lighting is a little dark... The staff is friendly and hard working and the apps are to die for! But the entrees tend to be rather "bleh" to me. I ordered the cilantro lime shrimp which was supposed to come with a mushroom risotto to be super disappointed when I just got plain ole long grain rice with maybe 3 mushroom slivers in it. Rice and risotto are NOT the same thing. The shrimp was good and cooked nicely and the green beans were okay, though very oily. Their cheddar mashed potatoes sound heavenly but they honestly aren't worth the calories. They are half real and half boxed and you can tell! The cheddar flavor is lacking... Their Angus burgers are very nice but their fries are boring. For the price of the entrees I would expect the side dishes to be a little more upscale. Nice plan, you will have a good time if you go, but don't have high expectations for their side dishes!

We had our company’s holiday party here. We simply requested to turn one of the 3 TVs that were all on the same game to another game. I was told all TVs have stay on the same game.... I will not be hosting our holiday party or coming back here again. Been coming here for 11 years, and live right down the street. On principle alone I won’t spend another dollar here.

Beautiful place to eat and great price on the food and serving side of dishes. The waitress was very nice and did a excellent job with taking the orders and offering menu ideas. She was was great and wished I had her name to tell you which one she was. Beautiful view of the water and sunset for where we sat.

Lakeside Tavern has a great feeling surrounding the place. Each time may wife and I go there, it's a special evening. Not to say we go there only on special occasions but the night becomes special because we got to go to the Lakeside Tavern. The wait staff is attentive and helpful. The food is reasonably priced while going above and beyond food of similar price. It is one of our favorite restaurants and we've never been disappointed.

For the price omg.. you would think you would get great food. Captain D's seafood in some areas is better. IE captain D's > lakeside tavern. That is very sad ☹️.

The food is good but as a hearing impaired customer, it is almost impossible to communicate even to the person next to me. The music is loud which causes me to strain to hear. I have wondered why it is necessary to have it.

Amazing food, and atmosphere! The staff is also on point. The entire family loved our meals. If you like onion rings, they are a MUST for an appetizer!
