This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Mexican restaurant.
The food was not as good compared to other restrants. Not good.
Great food super friendly staff. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurant in the state!!
The top shelf margaritas were very good. The food was authentic and exceptional.
Beware of health codes and call-in orders! Always CHECK YOUR ORDER and make sure it comes STRAIGHT FROM THE KITCHEN! I'm so sad to write this review... We have loved going to LaHa for years, actually decades. However, tonight's experience finally broke me. For a couple years now I've learned to deal with the extremely long wait or mixed-up food for call-in orders, and I've always just shrugged it off. But tonight it creeped me out. I went to retrieve my take-out order, and after the usual delays and confusions back and forth (even though the staff and I communicate in fluent Spanish), I finally went out with what I thought was my food. When I got home, they called me and asked me to bring the food back because they'd given me the wrong order, or they said I could just keep it. I opened the boxes I'd brought home and saw that they contained ingredients I'm anaphylacticly allergic to, so I decided to take it back. Once back at the restaurant, they made as if to give the food I'd brought back to the people who had actually ordered it... I spoke up, saying I had opened the containers in my home. That did not bother the LaHa staff! They said, well, as long as I didn't take any of it out... I said I was pretty sure that would violate health code. The LaHa staff didn't mind. They gave me my order. I asked if they could do anything regarding the trouble I went through of having to return to the restaurant. They acted like I was asking for the moon. They finally gave me a piece of cake. I don't think my request was unreasonable. Most other restaurants would give a refund without being asked. I couldn't tell for certain which of the people gathered at the counter were waiting for the food I had brought back or else I would've warned them that their order had been in my possession. Even though I didn't happen to lace it with poison, it's still not ok for LaHa to give a customer food that has been opened in the home of someone else entirely! And to top it off, when I got home the second time, I realized they hadn't actually given me my complete order! That's my bad, fool as I am for not CHECKING MY ORDER before leaving the establishment. I want nothing bad for LaHa and only want to see the restaurant and all its staff prosper. It is abundantly clear that the reception staff is totally swamped and overworked. I'm going to attribute tonight's faux pas to distraction and stress on the part of the staff. Even so, the health code violation part is creepy.
Very good food but be careful of call-in orders! They often misunderstand English and Give you what you didn't order. That has been my experience several times. The staff is wonderful and the manager is too. Good environment.
Good food fast service
Ordered a burrito yesterday, it tasted great, but was cold inside and out, I kindly asked if they remake it, I had taken two or three bites out of it, they brought it back to me saying they would not, Because I had eaten too much of it, all they had to do is fix it ,I’ll promptly stood up paid for the meal, (maybe I shouldn’t have, )told him I would never return, they lost a lifetime customer, I will never eat there again
Great food ,great atmosphere,friendly staff!
I meant to take a picture of the food but it smelled so good I forgot. Great chicken tacos. I’m not usually a fan of Mexican style rice but the rice here is amazing. The guacamole was absolutely fabulous. Fast and friendly service. Enjoy the wall of pictures of President Obama’s visit.
Food was great.. chicken fajitas.. vegetables were grilled perfectly. Plenty on one order to share or indulge yourself.
Great Hispanic food and drinks were fantastic as well. The prices are reasonable and the serve is relatively quick. Only four stars cause our experience with servers are never very consistent.
Hella decent food, ok service, phenomenal pricing! Good local spot
Great authentic food!
Great food, authentic Mexican. Always love going here
Is nice place to eat everybody like and good price is firm real Mexican flavor like texas
Lunch time service is top notch and quick. Tacos were great and the torta looked awesome. Chips and salsa are standard fare. I would definitely go back. 9-12-2019 the parking lot is currently a mess. So parking is limited.
The absolute best restaurant on Nolensville Road! Their service and food is always great, you will never be disappointed about anything you order on the menu! If I could give 10 stars, I would!!
Great authentic Mexican food, diverse menu, and at very affordable food and drink prices. Good atmosphere. Trivia note..pictures on wall of president Obama visit to this location. Well worth a visit
The food wasn't the best. Salsa was too spicy. Also had to ask for refills.
Went in on a whim and so happy we did! Food was really really good, and prices were probably lower than they should be. Salsa was on point, chairs are big and comfy, atmosphere is colorful and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for some chilaquiles!
THE best Mexican Restaurant in Nashville, TN! I've tried other places, but they don't measure up to the excellent food, service and atmosphere! Even former president Barack Obama has enjoyed the hospitality.
Came with a party of 13 and the service was excellent. Ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas and it was delicious! Would recommend to anyone in the Nashville area. Will be back soon!
The staff here are wonderful. Its located close to the ball park so after a long day about 15 of us pulled in on them. The food was great and so was the service.
President Obama ate here, need I say more?
Omg the food was phenomenal
Food here is to die for (awesome) the best athletic I've had in a good long while.. Service was great to
Just ok dull no spice no authincity
I have been coming here since the 1970's when it was just a small grocery store with a taco take out. It is the most original and best Mexican restaurant in the mid south. You can go to all the other Mexican restaurants, but you will never find a better or more authentic Mexican restaurant.
Server was not great, but the food was awesome. Also happened to dine next to the great Chris Scruggs.
Folkes spoke little English, but enough to get my point across. Really no complaints about anything. I would definitely come here again...
Its was deliciouse. I had a grilled chicken salad. I would eat there agian.
This place has been here since I was 7 or 8 years old....I'm now 31, and I have yet to be disappointed. In not a regular, but come at least once a year, and everytime the food is hot and delicious, the service great. No complaints. Keep up the great work!
Nice real Mexican restaurant with a good atmosphere.
The food was deliciously authentic! The atmosphere was informal and attitudes were pleasantly light. The experience reminded me of being at my aunt's house in Guadalajara
Very impressed with the authenticity. The atmosphere was great and the food was extremely comparable to the flavors of home in Tucson, AZ. The horchata is delightful, not from a packet. The complementary chips and Salsa are tasty, not spicy. I ordered more food to go after my combo plate. Service could've been better, but I was in no hurry.
Yummy food, quick arrive and overall great experience. Wish the parking lot out front was a bit bigger!
Fresh and delicious chicken nacho supreme there nothing better than authentic food. I can always count on this fr this place love it!
Visiting the city of nashville and had it to try the best Mexican restaurant In this city
Food is so bomb! But the owner, she's rude. We went to go pay up front, she looked at us, rolled her eyes, and ignored us. Be polite and stop being rude!
Great authentic Mexican dining at reasonable pricing. Friendly efficient and attentive service. Amazingly good food and ample portions. Will be returning!!
Love the food. And the service is great. Good enough for our #1 president Obama
The food was really good there and such fast service
I was a douche and got there about 15 minutes before close, but the service was excellent and never got the stink eye for disrupting their closing procedures. Nothing like a good burrito to soak up the alcohol.... well, maybe two. Ordering a steak & a chorizo burrito was an awesome experience, along side a cold one. Staff were great... Food was great... Place was clean... Prices are reasonable.... There is a wall displaying Obama's visit there... So if you're a Trumper, you may not want to visit... But .... if you were a Trumper, you would probably go just to round people up.... This place is also located next to Phonoluxe Records, another cool place to visit.... Give Bill a hug... He likes it.... Enjoy!!!!!
I've lived here for 3 years now. Best Mexican I've encountered so far.
La Hac is a great place with an amazing staff and outstanding food, the birthday welcome is always fun, and the decor is so cozy
I've only picked up tortillas from here but have been mean to eat here.
Authentic and one of Nashville's original have outside covered patio for nice weather days
We went for lunch. Very nice people good service.
My favorite Mexican restaurant. I've been a loyal customer since 1996. Only one that I, personally, can order a beef gordita. Love, love, love this place.
Michelas are really good
The food was ok. Service not bad.
Service was so very slow. Took over an hour to eat and leave. Wanted a quick but before going to the Ryman for a show.
Food was good. Waitress couldn't understand what we wanted very well, asked for beef in my burrito and got steak. We had to wait a Long time on our food. Not our favorite Mexican restaurant but would come back if we are in the area again.
Love Mexican Food from Russia
Out standing, do not live in Nashville but this food was absolutely amazing. Grilled vegetables in the chicken breast with cheese sauce was amazing. Definitely look forward to going back. I ordered Polo De Flores
Excellent. Love their chorizo burrito !
Best Mexican restaurant in town
This is definitely more authentic and not the americanized version lol. Be prepared for something a little different than you are used to. It's very delicious food, but very different than I've had at other mexican restaurants. There is definitely also a little bit of a language barrier as well. But aside from that - you won't be disappointed :)
No flavor, cheap tequila, and slow service. Appeared very disorganized to not be that busy. I brought my boyfriend here bragging its one if the best in Nashville. Very disappointed as it clearly has changed.
One of my favorite places in Nashville.
My food was burned can’t even eat it because it tasted like charcoal. Bad service really rude lady. Will never go back
Great food! Poor service ☹️
I've been wanting to go here for a long time based on recommendations. Just moved back to Nashville from Florida and finally made it in for their wonderful food and margaritas. Enjoyed the entire experience. Will be going back frequently.
Great place and awesome food
The food is quite authentic and the sopes are awesome!
It's okay, could be better.
The food was delicious and affordable. Would highly recommend it. Service was a little slow but we did come in just after the lunch rush.
I had a great time here! The atmosphere was really calm and the staff was great! Wide variety of food and drinks with very affordable pricing. Definitely recommend trying and will definitely be back here again! PS. Former President Barack Obama has been here before and they have cool feature wall with photos of him, the customers, and the staff! Most certainly a fun addition.
Great authentic resturant! Srrvice is good. Affordable!
Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Loved my chili relleno burrito. The rice and beans were delicious and I usually don't even eat that. Hub's had Colorado burrito and it was great too! Horchata was great too!
Really cool atmosphere and great food here. Plenty of parking is available and the servers are very efficient.
Good food and good drinks
Nice service and affordable food.
Server was absolutely terrible. Charged full price for a margarita that was ordered at happy hour. Did not come to check on us at all. Food was good, but service was extremely lacking.
Good food. Good prices. Good service
Excellent food, drink and service
Excellent bean nachos, sliced avocado, chips and salsa and fried jalapenos! Ok margarita. Not the friendliest bartender. Other staff was quite nice. Loved that it was crowded but not noisy.
Grate service and good food
This is a great place to eat and drink!! The pricing is very reasonable and staff, wonderful!
Would not consider authentic, enchilada sauce tasted watered down, my opinion.
Food average, service extremely slow.
The food is amazing But the service could be better. Every time we go we wait about 15 min AFTER we were sat down for someone to come ask what we are drinking. Then after ordering food and drinks the waiters rarely come check up on you.
Great food! Very fast service. Will be coming back.
Fake mexican food, horcha watery, taco de tripa no flavor full of grease. Better of Taco Bell.
La Hacienda Taqueria is authentic Mexican fair. You will not be disappointed with whatever you order here. Among the specialties is Pollo Asado. Get a quarter or half order or even a full bird for the family. The skin is golden brown, and the meat is ALWAYS juicy. The bakery next door rocks as well. Enjoy!! We do.
The grilled chicken nachos are massive and so is the deluxe burrito. Well worth it. Also good service.
Love this place! Service can be slow at times, but nothing too extreme. The food is always great!
This is one of my favourite Mexican restaurants in Nashville. Authentic, cozy, and very affordable. My brother and his family have driven to Nashville from Huntsville just to eat here, and visit me. I've never had a bad meal here and visit as often as possible.
Very slow. Not very good Mexican food, salsa and cheese dip TOO spicy. Our waitress never asked for refills. Another waitress was very kind to our table
Margaritas are out of a pre-mix machine and way overpriced. Service was inattentive. Street tacos were pretty good.
Decent mexi place for the price. Good drink specials and carnitas
The food is so good we visited this location twice during our one week vacation in Nashville. The staff was friendly, the portions were generous and the food was flavorful and fresh! Definitely worth a visit (or two) if you’re in the Nashville area!
best mexican place
Classic Mexican restaurant that has been a part of the community for a long time. They seem to put a little bit more effort in the menu items and the product is food that is just a notch better than other places.
Last time I was here 15 years ago and it's totally nice and better than last time, really good food and service, I will come back.
Delicious margaritas, and food.
Good food, quick service.
A really cool place that's authentic. You will like this place. Enjoy!
Food was amazing and LOTS of food
Food was good. Very filling. Waiter was very nice but a little on the slow side with keeping up. But all I all a good experience.
The first Mexican restaurant in nashville and the best
Great food. Definitely recommend it the California burrito
Awesome tasty food. A bit crowded and loud but very popular with the locals. They make their own chips and other products next door and sell to other restaurants and to the public. Fast friendly service and as authentic or Americanized as you order it
Great. 3 people for less than 40$
Awesome and tasty...Great prices, too. Had the California burrito with carne asada. Delish!
Good quality at a good price
Very good I had chicken enchiladas with queso black beans and rice and a corona light. Only complaint is it can take a little long. Meaning you will never make it on a 30 minute lunch break
food was great. service was awful and unapologetic about it. after 40 min of waiting I got cold food, missing items, and a grumpy kid. been going here for years and it really isn't what it one was.
I use to come here often but not anymore. The service and food is horrible. Wife and I had the fried Tilapia.. it was so fried no meat just bones could not even eat it.. than I ask for 3 top shelf margarita $16.99 each but is not top shelf they just add more cheap tequila.. plus cheese deep that looked yellow..my son did not touch it..The total after tax $85...I should have gone to a 5 star restaurant..it's a ripp off...
Best tacos ever
I enjoy this restaurant every time I go. I had a shrimp burrito today and it was fabulous. The chips are not the best I have encountered, but they have good salsa and a Verde and Red sauce on the tables. I like both of them. Service is good and servers are very friendly. They serve breakfast selections all day. It stays fairly steady with customers. There is not much parking in front of building, but there is additional parking in back of the building. President Obama visited when he was in town and they have the pictures on the wall to prove it. I would recommend trying it if you like authentic mexican cuisine.
This place is a hidden gem. Great food, fast service, and wonderfully friendly staff. Was surprised to see photos of Obama visiting displayed prominently thought, make me like the guy even more imagining him (late night) asking his driver where to get great street tacos in Nashville.
Friendly staff, good service and food.
This is as close to authoc as you will find in Nashville unless you go to a taco truck. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant.
Killer food and killer service. Our server nailed our order for a party of 6 without writing it down. I love good Mexican food and this one delivered with Great Mexican food. Highly recommend.
Great food and prices.
Best taco lengua in Nashville. Menudo also
Can't recommend this place enough! This may have been one of the best Mexican dinners I've had. The Shrimp Fajitas was huge and delicious, the drinks are super fun and the staff is quick and kind. No wonder Obama stopped by and took photos with the entire staff :)
The food was fantastic!
Super good fajitas! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and all the veggies were fresh. The margaritas were delicious for the price! Super affordable place!
Tried to order a Paloma (tequila and grapefruit) and the waitress didn’t know what it was. No problem... we’ll figure it out right? Here are the responses I got as we tried to work this... - I don’t know how to input that into the system. - I might mess it up - I’m really busy right now - You can just get up, walk over to the bar, and tell the bartender yourself - We don’t have a manager Oh, also never got the water I ordered 10 minutes prior to this chat.
Best Mexican breakfast!
Such a gem I will definitely be back
They sang me happy birthday. It was a little embarrassing, but fun, too. They gave me free desert, and my entree was very good. It's a charming restaurant. Not a lot of room to park out front, so you drive down the street past a couple of buildings, and go behind to the alley/street in back. It has its own parking lot back there, and you walk in the back door. They were very nice.
My favorite
Great food and prices. Sometimes they will be under staff and service would not be as fast. But overall the food is delicious.
Food was great but it was hot inside... I wish it was cooler
Worst Mexican restaurant my friends and I have been to. My margarita tasted like salt. It was supposed to be strawberry. My friends like margarita tasted like watered down tequila. We sent our drinks back. The table next to us sent their drinks back too. I ordered tacos that were dry. Asked for a lime and was never given the lime. It took forever to get our drinks and food. Wouldn’t recommend this. There are several other Mexican restaurants nearby, go to them.
It might have just been because we had been at a busy part of the day, but the service could have been a lot better. The waitress didn't fill our drinks nor come around the table to check on us often. She also forgot a few things that we ordered and when we asked for sides/extras she would either take her time or forget. The food was alright. I did like the steak tacos, but I've definitely had better Mexican food.
Went here for the first time the other day and loved it! I know its weird, but I loved the chairs and the atmosphere. They were so comfortable and authentic! Also try the Bananaberry margarita! Its delicious! My new favorite! The service was fast and efficient and the food was really good!
La Hacienda has good food and good drinks, but I can't say either make me leave feeling like I need to tell someone about it. They have had celebrities and famous people visit before (President Obama was there once) so there is some neat history. If you're looking for a first date location or some outstanding food, I'd try somewhere else.
We come here all the time and everything from the food to the service is always wonderful. The last time we were there I almost left without my card and one of the waitresses flagged us down in our car to give it to me. We’ll definitely continue to come back!
Food is good. T bone steak wasn't so good
Absolutely great restaurant!
Good food and service. Obama likes it too.
Great place to go with family or just for lunch. They have an extensive menu with lunch specials that don't break the bank. It has a nice atmosphere from the moment you walk in. However because it's such a great place they can be a bit full at times.
This place is delicious and very inexpensive. Cheap drinks and tacos make the world go 'round.
Food is eh but the service is consistently terrible. Waiters consistently would rather hang at the bar than do their job. Waiters look more like they’re at a daycare than at work. I’ve gone here many years since it’s down the street from my house and I’ve been hoping for a change but I don’t believe it’s coming anytime soon. Still on their high horse because Obama came years ago. We get it! I just want decent service for once! Good luck on getting any refills or receiving hot food. If they can even get your order right the first time!
Fantastic! Great food. Great service! Try the combos! I love #8- Burrito+soft taco+rice and beans=yes!
Good food for reasonable price but bad service
It had great reviews and seemed very busy so we were really looking forward to our dinner. We were told though that they didn't have time to make the hotter salsa we requested and my son's burrito had raw chicken in it. Not something that you want to find at all. They did take the cost of the burrito off the bill, but I would have rather not had my son eating raw chicken.
Great food AWESOME customer service
Good food and have extra parking in the back
The people here were so sweet and accomodated us well. Food was filling and absolutely great. Loved their locos pollo and the price isn't terrible for the hefty amount you get and for how it tastes!
Since El Chico closed after eating there for 75 yrs. been in a blue funk, but I think I have finally found great Mexican food again. Outstanding menu, not the usual.
Don't remember. Must have been a good place
The food was great and authentic. Loved the atmosphere too.
Food was great, but you have to stomach pictures of obama on the wall.
