I'm a fan of the burgers, onion rings and the custard available here! Walk up or drive thru, no interior dining. Never had a bad experience. I do miss all of the "slushy" combinations they used to have, but totally understand why after speaking with the owner.

Local flavor, good eats, and a fair price - this is the real deal! Friendly staff, nice menu, and a cool place. You'll probably want to get more than 1 burger patty - they're pretty thin. (There's a reason they offer a 7 patty burger). Being right beside the tracks makes for a interesting (and loud) experience when a train goes by, but its unique and kind of cool. The "Styx" (mozzarella sticks) aren't that great, but the tatar tots are good. The burgers and shakes are delicious!

The burgers are not too appetizing ,very flat burger patties I don't even know how to explain the sadness this burger exhumes as you unwrap it from it's delivery on the other side tho the desserts are great tho me and my shorty had the strawberry shortcake/ice cream its the best tasting I've tasted yet , has a natural taste no artificial sugar taste like they made it onsite there cream and all .... Where to start......I'm puzzled as to why ppl keep running to this place. The food is nothing to write home about and the ice cream is pretty average. Had an unseasoned, paper thin hamburger and fries today and they charged me 55 cents for water. Wont be back.

If you have not had a shake from Karin's, you have not lived. They are probably in the top 5 ever milkshakes in my life. Lots of different flavors, some unique. The burgers are great also. Similar to steak and shake style burgers. Stop reading and order a shake right now!

I love Karins. It's a nice little hole in the wall with awesome burgers, great desserts and the best chicken nuggets in town! Not super expensive and great on days when you are craving a classic soft serve cone. Everytime I have been, I have been pleased with my food. I usually get a burger, and all the toppings are always fresh, crisp and yummy. They also have great customer service as all the servers I have encountered have been very friendly and happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone craving a classic american food meal.

Karin’s Kustard makes the best burgers in Smyrna, maybe even in Middle Tennessee. The triple cheeseburger has the best meat-to-bun ratio, and this place made even me like crinkle-cut fries! Like all of the best restaurants, they cook everything to order, so either call ahead or be prepared to wait a good five-to-fifteen minutes, depending on what you order and how busy they are.

Food is great. However they don’t put TLC into putting their burgers together and it looks like a train from their back yard ran over the one I received. Recommend getting five patties because they’re literally paper thin. Funny that they have ice cream and don’t even offer custard. Disappointed with that since it’s part of their name regardless of spelling. Seating is feet from a live train track. Parking is congested and only one way in and out. Easy to get trapped because of drive thru layout. It’s a neat dive to grab some grease and sugar.

In the area Murfreesboro area, we try to go by there and get some Tasty Bites, especially after hiking waterfalls. Fuels is back with energy. I feel it's been there about 10 years. Food is wonderful. You must try the frozen custard! Very friendly outdoor eating, or take it to go!

First time here after passing it everyday to go to work and Im so happy I did. I got a cheeseburger with fries and a small vanilla cone. Loved it all especially the ice cream. Really great value, for what it is. Burger patty was thinner but I liked that. Wasnt heavy or greasy. I would have liked a better bun but it didnt take away from anything. The crinkle fries were hot and crispy! Overall I really enjoyed this little local place and will definitely be back!!!

This is a great place to bring the family for a good bite to eat and have some icecream it has really good food and the service is wonderful i had the fried bologna and it was great my wife had a cheese burger and it was also very good its all made fresh to order so none of that food thats been sitting in a warmer for hours. Its outdoor seating under a awning and there is also a drive thru if your not staying to eat. Great place keep it up

The custard is great! I haven't tried the food. Sunday was a very busy day. Everyone that was stopping by to get mostly ice cream and custard. There is plenty of outdoor seating and a decent parking area. The drive thru is tight so don't drive a big truck through it. This is a walk up order counter if you decide to park. Good visibility from the road.

I ordered a Double Cheese Burger with fries and a Death By Chocolate. It cost around $12. To me, that's about right. The fries were good, not special, but cooked right and piping hot with the correct amount of salt. The burger was delicious. The meat was crispy on the edges but not too done. And the toppings were great. Just a solid burger. The ice cream was delicious. Lots of chocolate but not too much. And the staff was polite and friendly. Karin's Kustard and Hamburgers was everything I wanted out of a local burger joint. This is the epitome of the American burger, fries, and shake (or in my case ice cream). I loved it!

Oh my God. Who knew warns brownies in a custard style icecream could taste so good. This place is like a staple in our community it's been here for generations. If you haven't been there you have to stop by before gentrification comes and tries to take it.
