Food is cooked well. It is set up well, but often customers displace things, especially children. I've noticed workers clean and/or replacing foods on time, or just checking to see if replacement is needed. They respond to customer inquiries and requests without unnecessary questions. Sometimes you may have to wait if something has run out without their notice. When you inform them, they respond immediately!

Food Is great and the variety is awesome! You can tell it's a favorite with locals. I would suggest grouping the different varieties of food together. Having to search the entire buffet for what you want gets a little old and builds "traffic jams" up and down the line as people are looking for what they want and jumping into the line when they can.

Not very good!! Sister became sick soon after eating her lunch and she eats Chinese on a regular basis. Couldn't get our waitress attention bc she was not around yet she was wanting me to give her a very good tip. This was a poor experience and I do not recommend them. We went when they 1st opened when food was fresh and had alot to offer yet not really had much in way of sushi- couldn't get anyone to tell me the food that was out or anything. Bad bad !!!

There was a wide variety of hot and cold foods to choose from, and everything we tried was delicious. There was also a very nice selection of sushi to choose from as well. Our server kept our table clean, and our water glasses full. Everything was kept clean, including the bathrooms. We will be going there again.

Grand pacific has a great variety of food to choose from. We have visited this location a few times and it is always very good. The food is always fresh and hot. We visited on a Sunday this visit so they were extremely busy. They did an awesome job getting tables cleaned, people seated and served. One of the servers actually took the time to help me get my grandson out of the high chair as she waited for us to pay. She also played with him a bit. This is a very nice comfortable place to enjoy meals.

When I say it was GOOD, IT WAS GOOD. Everything was fresh. I dream about the day I'm back in Memphis bc I know where I'm going to eat. I didn't want to leave. Normally the Asian buffet come & sit your bill on the table like it's time to go. But no the young lady kept asking was we ok, did we need anything. We had to ask for the bill. I was STUFFED. To bad it's not one like that at home. I will be back when I come back to Memphis.

Make sure you have a coupon. Family of 4 was $70 for mediocre food. Sweet and sour chicken was overcooked, dry, and tasted like burnt grease. Corn on the cob was burned. Really? How do you burn that? Shrimp was greasy. Fried rice was burned and hard. Squid was tough. Overall, just wasted 70 bucks. Won't be back. It was good before it moved to the new location. It's like they forgot how to cook.

Upside: the food is good. Downside: the service is *bad*. Very sporadic. The servers can be downright rude, and are indifferent at best. (With the exception of the older man with glasses, who I'm told is named Bobby.) They seem to have a thing against giving drink refills. My family has been three times prior to today; each visit had the same problem. The first time, the waitress told us rudely that she wouldn't refill our drinks because "they were closing". There were 30 minutes left! None of us got a single refill. On the next visit, our (different) waitress ignored us the whole time—except for when she randomly decided to give us the bill, 20 minutes in. She came over, wordlessly put it on the table, and walked off, not acknowledging our empty glasses. We weren't done eating, but we paid anyway. We then went up to get more food. When we came back, the waitress was talking and laughing with another employee, clearing our table! She looked surprised to see us again. She said, "Sorry. Thought you were done." Ok, fine. But now that you see we aren't, how about refills? Nothing doing. We were ignored again. *Sigh.* It was evident that she wanted us to leave—which we did, soon after. During the third visit, one of us had to ACTUALLY CALL OVER A SERVER TO GET REFILLS. *Double sigh*. We didn't have that problem today, thanks to Bobby. His attitude and service were exemplary! Everyone there should take lessons from him. The (other) staff have no regard for your personal space. They make no effort not to bump into/brush up against/reach over you. The moody girl bussing our table repeatedly bumped into me as she reached over my current plate for what she wanted. She never once apologized. And yes, there was plenty of room. She just didn't care. They also have a thing about *staring*. Today, the young, tallish waiter with glasses was leaning against the computer in the dining area, arms crossed, staring at all the diners. He looked as if he wanted to be anywhere else but there. Later on, I saw the girl who bumped me also staring at everyone, with the same face. One of the men who refills the buffet suffers from that same habit; on two out of three visits I've noticed him watching customers while they get their food (including me), and I've more than once seen him follow up the stare with an aside to a coworker (in their language), at which they would both laugh. Their body language made it clear that the customer was the object of whatever was said. Extremely rude. The staff yell across the restaurant to each other. And I do mean YELL. At one point the girl who bumped into me yelled something (again, in their language) to a man standing at the computer in the dining area. And he heard her! She was standing next to our table, the one closest to the dessert counter. Basically catty-corner to the computer. There was a fully-packed, noisy dining room in between them, and the man still heard her! (And yelled back a reply.) This is very unprofessional, and inconsiderate of customers. Especially the one whose ear they're practically yelling into. But I'm saving the best for last: the RESTROOMS. The women's was in an absolute STATE! It's always dirty, but today was the worst it has *ever* been. The smell…ugh. Each of the stalls looked as if someone had taken a trash can—full of used toilet paper and personal items—and dumped it everywhere, in EACH STALL. All over the toilets, the floor… One stall had an entire roll's worth of toilet paper just thrown all over it! Like a college student had been there and "toilet papered" the place! How does a restaurant have a restroom like this? I'd rather use the ones in Walmart. It was appalling. I can't say I'm surprised, though. Upon returning to my table from that horrendous experience, I saw the young, tallish waiter with glasses again. He was cleaning a table, and dropped a big handful of used napkins and other trash onto an overflowing trash can. It tumbled off onto the floor. He just left it there, along with the rest of the trash that had already fallen. SMH.

4 stars because the food is pretty good. The reason I didn’t rate 5 stars(as mentioned by other reviewers) is because I witnessed a young girl maybe 5 years of age playing in the fish pond near the hostess station. She then proceeded to go touch food on the buffet. It is already questionable whether a fish pond is sanitary near food. But even more when a child is seen putting her hands in the fish pond and returning to the food. I understand it isn’t Grand Pacific’s fault; but still. It turned me off. We will return however.

Yum. Sushi and sashimi. Both up to par. Kimichi was great. Squid salad was the bomb. And get this, their ice cream machine it actually worked and had an option for vanilla and chocolate mixed. Kid friendly. Family environment. Does have a business side. Fish takes and ponds and fountains all over. Bill for buffet 3 adults 2 kids was about 65. Not terrible. But a little pricey. Worth the money.

The buffet is well versed in food variety. There is everything from sushi to meatloaf. I have eaten here in this new location a few times its always clean and the waitresses are nice. The kids love the fondue fountain. A good place for lunch or dinner if your really hungry!

I love Chinese buffets and this place had it all. It is a clean and friendly place. It is a little more upscale then most buffets I've been to, but that just makes it better. They have great sushi and a hibachi grill, so there are lots of choices. It is a little pricey, but not too bad. This will be the place I go to for Chinese food while I am in town.

Grand Pacific was wonderful! So many things to choose from. All you can eat buffet and fresh sushi! They also had a habachi area which I will try next time. The food was tasty. I like my food hot and we happened to get there right before they or while they were changing the pans to the more hot pans so I did get a couple of things that weren't warm. There also is a desert bar ! Over great experience , good food and I will go back there soon!

Great Chinese buffet. Always busy but there are plenty of seats and the service is good. Prices are reasonable and the place is very clean and well maintained. Excellent selection of food that includes Asian, Thai and traditional American. The sushi is prepared in front of you and is some of the best I have had in Memphis. The Hibachi station is always popular and there are a lot of great options to choose from. Deserts are a little limited but to be honest I’m not really going there for desert! Never had a bad experience here and will return regularly.

There's a coupon in mlgw utility bill, but if your waitress doesn't know what you're talking about then they won't allow you to use it. The food was good though, really busy on a Sunday. Their Mongolian grill is the best I've had in a while. I only have 3 stars because of all the unruly children running around and the misunderstanding about their own coupon.

I won't go again. Dinner buffet w.drink was 15. So you get what you.pay for. (I had gone there for the grand opening and it was better than i expected. Six months later....ugggg) dirty. The plates werent promptly removed like at other asian buffets. We had to literally yell to get servers attention for drink refills. I could forgive everything if the food was.good but it wasnt. It just wasnt so.... ill pass.

This place has really gone down...used to love it but after our last visit we will not be back! It was filthy, half the pans were empty and most of it was either overcooked or cold. Very disappointed, used to be such a good place. Oh, and the service was horrible...I stood at the counter for at least 5 mins being totally ignored...and it was not on a busy weekend, it was 1pm on a Thursday. Enter at your own risk5

I came in to get a to go dinner. I came right behind another lady. The cashier acknowledged this woman and gave her a to go box even though she was ringing someone else out. I waited in line thinkingI would be next, instead another man walks up in front of me and pays. Surely, I'll be next I thought, but no. The cashier left the register and me standing there without saying one word such as hold on, or just a minute, I'll be with you. So, I turned around and left. I refuse to work all day, then be ignored and overlooked, then get overcharged for the food anyways.

Great buffet, plenty of variety. Fresh stir fry / noodle bowl made to order on a giant griddle like they do at ghengis grill. Fresh made sushi. Plenty of Chinese and American food. Come with an appetite.

Excellent food and service. I’ve lived all over the south and have never been in a cleaner Asian restaurant. Everything I picked up was fresh or in the process of being replaced. My spouse ordered from the grill and his chicken/shrimp plate was perfectly cooked as well. The deserts were even fresh. I had apple cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. They sold me. I’ll definitely be a faithful customer.

By far, my favorite Chinese buffet. They have a bit of everything; from Thai to sushi even a Mongolian grill. They even have some American food and now a chocolate fountain . Basically all around Delicious food. A bit pricy but worth it.

Server never spoke a word to my daughter or myself. Said thank you each time a plate was cleared, nothing. Saw him speaking to a little boy about chocolate cake beside us. You either get 1 or 5 stars from me, no in betweens. Had to ask someone else for a refill. My child, 10, was frustrated and kept sliding my cup towards edge of table like it was going to make a difference. Notified the worked at door about situation and left. 1st and last time there. Food was so so.

Cheesy crab baked casserole was sour and ruined. You could even smell it. it was disgusting. My husband smelled it and tried to taste it but it was too sour. Tried to tell one of the employees, he took it to the back on a plate and came back out and said it was fine. I just hope no one gets sick from it because it was Sour and had gone bad.

Food was great tonight, but service was horrible. We had to ask them to get our first drinks and every refill, silverware, and clear the plates. You know, the only thing that the service has to do at buffets. Everyone in our section was unattended to and left to seek out the servers for every interaction. Sad because the food was really good tonight.
