They were having a celebration today with the buffet and meals only $5.00, so as you can imagine it was very crowded. We were seated quickly though. They have a variety of different foods, from pizza and soup to a salad bar, and down home food such as fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, and pinto beans to name a few. The food was very good and the wait staff did a good job also, especially with how busy they were. A very good experience.

Fernandos is okay. Food is adequate, but nothing to write home about. Everything feels like it's been dumped out of a can and heated up and the pizza seems like frozen pizza. The wait staff is always friendly and it's clean for the most part, except the bathroom usually needs more attention. It's okay, that's really all I can say.

Food was very good. My oldest son and I had the buffet and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. The chicken tenders were hand battered in a light batter. The broccoli casserole was delicious. The green beans were bright green and I was expecting them to be chewy, but oh so tender. Pizza is included on the bar, and was very tasty. My wife had a breakfast skillet and was very happy with it. The toast was unfortunately just loaf bread, barely toasted. My youngest wanted pancakes and bacon. He was very happy.

We had a visit planned to Chattanooga from Murfreesboro. In advance I looked up restaurants and found this one to have a huge amount of positive reviews. It's not a huge restaurant.. it's clean... There's no music playing or anything which is ok I guess... You focus more on the food and who you came there with if you came with anyone. The staff was friendly and the service was slow but it didn't take away from the taste of the food. I ordered the pizza baked ravioli, my mother ordered the fried catfish with mashed potatoes and cabbage, and my friend had the chicken fettuccine. We were all satisfied with our food. It was delicious. Id definitely come back another time. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Not much variety; 3 pizzas, 3-4 meats ---- fried chicken, some kind of beef cut, tasty but tough, crab cakes in their shells, 3-4 veggies, ice cream. Nothing special. It's billed as Italian, but I did not see anything Italian on the menu except perhaps the green beans. Not going back.

It is not a fancy place, but the breakfast bar is DELICIOUS. The bacon is nice and crunchy, and the sausage is fully cooked. I absolutely love the potatoes -- it was difficult not to stuff myself with those! The biscuits are big and fluffy, and they even make the chicken strips from scratch.

Food as good as any you get at Cracker Barrel. Home cooking at it's best. Order from menu or take advantage of the food/salad/pizza bar. Our server was attentive and prompt. One other server sometimes ignored customers. Luckily, we did not have to deal with her. Decor is plain Jane so don't expect ambiance. Food makes up for it.

the staff are very friendly. I wish they had more "seafood"to choose from on their weekend buffet, that is $12.99 but other than that the food is pretty good. some is homemade some is not. and the only complaint I have is.. the restroom is outside of the restaurant practically.. it's as you walk into the establishment..so it's cold when its winter outside.

I hate leaving negative reviews but hey we have to be honest. I recieved an email for free del. from a food delivery service. So I decided on pasta. I had never eaten at Fernandos before so I gave them a try. Ordered spaghetti and the soup of the day comes with it. The pasta was sticky and under cooked almost like it was pre cooked and the microwaved.. ( no it was not al dente I know the difference) the marinara sauce and the soup were both uninspiring. I can not speak on other menu items but they need a hard core improvement on these items or take them off the menu.

I was in there today our waitress was nice but i have to say that was the worst food i have ever had in my life. Me and my husband tried to eat but finally i couldnt take anymore i told our waitress that we would pay for our drinks but not paying for food we could not eat. The tea was bad breadsticks were horrible and salad tasted like it had some type of pestiside not to mention it was full of water..the roast and potatoes were bad potatoes were so stiff and gravy waa horrible..the waitress asked if i would like a menu item i told her no..i would not eat there if it was free..will not go back

I don't think we've ever gotten anything from the menu besides pizza to take home. We always get the bar. No frills, always clean, pizza on the bar and you can ask for a particular pizza and they will make it and put it out for you. Also, the bar comes with hand-scooped ice cream, but you have to ask for it. And the price is low. They don't have the selection of Golden Corral, but if that's what you need, go to GC!

The buffet was $7.99 and drink 99¢. On the buffet they had chicken. Bite size shrimp. Burger patties. Ham w pineapple. Peas. Beans. Several other Veggies. The reason for the four stars is I didn't like the deserts.

Was pleasantly surprised by our experience! Food was tasty and the selection was not bad. Love that the soups are actually soup of the day with menu for each day’s soup. Love that you can tell it’s homemade food with the non-uniform cut veggies in the soups and freshly baked breads and pizza crusts. We’re heading back there Thursday for lasagna night! Very exciting! And free tea or coffee with the buffet, and $0.99 to add a soda to the buffet! Worth the visit and money!

In the past have had issues with Fernandos in regards to food quality and customer service...not anymore! Past management was not the best. Since they have gotten new management about 6 months ago...they have had great improvement. Food quality is wonderful. The buffet is great...even though the selection is small. It is consistant though...which is what I like about it. Fried chicken is tender and delicious. The chopped steak with onions and bell peppers are to die for...so delicious! I also love the brussel sprouts, boiled cabbage, green beans and sweet potato casserole. Yummy! If you go...you have got to try the chili on Monday nights. You can make a meal out a bowl of it with some cornbread. Lol. They also have a good, well stocked salad bar...and pizza buffet is good too. Waitresses are friendly and always keep your drinks full. If you dont want the buffet you can order off the menu...and they serve breakfast all day. On the weekend they have a breakfast buffet...which I havent tried yet...but if the other food is any indication...then I'm sure it's delicious too! They also have a Facebook page where you can find out about specials and see what is on the buffet for the day is. All around good experience. I hope that the quality continues to stay good...and it appears that the new management is taking steps to insure that it does.

Fernando's is a family restaurant with a terrific hot food, salad, and pizza bar. The menu is extensive. The breakfast bar on weekends is fabulous, but you can order breakfast from the menu anytime. Service is friendly and efficient. You can beat Fernando's for a great meal at a great price.

Even though they were super busy the staff was so friendly and helpful with my to go order. I hadn’t tried this restaurant before but had always heard great things and they did not disappoint! Not to mention for the quality and amount of food you get it is such a good deal! I got the hamburger steak with two sides and it was easily enough for two full meals for me for less then $10.

The food was ok, but not great. I couldn't eat the pasta salad, it was warm and "sticky". The mashed potatoes had been sitting long enough to become crusty. The apple cobbler was not edible. My waitress was more interested in a conversation with a family friend, then waiting on me. I will not return.

At Fernando's the food is really good and the prices are outstanding. The atmosphere seems a little like a 90's banquet hall but is easily overlooked because of the price and quality of the food. What seems to be in need of attention is the waitstaff. Our server seemed to have psychic abilities. She would disappear just before we needed her. The food seemed to take an extremely long time (over 30 minutes) and I would have thought she was back pushing the cooks to get it dine; however, she disappeared more after it arrived at our table. The entire time all this was happening the register was attended by a lady busting her behind to take, ring in, assemble, and check out to go orders, while running the front register and field questions from guests. Bravo for her effort. Two spoons down for the twenty-something relative of the owner who wandered around the entire time doing nothing but swinging a wet wash cloth around. Next time it might do some good to HELP OUT & EARN YOUR PAY.

Great!!! If you're hungry and like GOOD food, this place is where you need to be. VERY friendly and sweet staff. Pizza dough and lot of other items are homemade and you can taste the difference.

This is the same staff as was at Family Table restaurant from several years ago and the food was fantastic. We had our favorites, chicken alfredo and veal parmigian. We were so excited to try our old favorites again and when we got our food it had changed. The alfredo was different but couldn't place what was different. The veal parmigian was good but they had added sugar to the marinara and threw the taste off because it over came the marinara. Dont know if we came on the wrong day or they have changed the recipes. We will give them another shot in the future to see which is which. The buffet looked good and it used to be very good but we didn't try it this time so we dont know if it has changed any.

Me and my boyfriend tried out this place for the first time. We did the buffet thinking it was a good deal. But was really disappointed with with the food. Most of the sides tasted like from a can. The young lady who was helping me seemed like she was miserable. Wouldn't recommend this place

1st time visiting here started out ok,food was ok except no flavor ok we were hungry.so we stayed and ate anyways.2 adults and 1 child inspecting the ticket 8.99 , 8.99 4.99 for the child.at the register we were charged full price 8.99 for the child 30.00 total After it was clearly marked 4.99 on the ticket.not to mention I left a 10% tip on the table. As I always do anywhere I go to dine out.THE HYPE IS THAT BLACK FOLKS DONT TIP so she assume and decided charge full price for an 8 y/o before looking on the table.its all good ignorance is everywhere now days I expected better than this.never again .it also was not about the money it's the principal of it. Our 1st and last time ever comming to a place that function like this.

Easy acces to this location and easy to spot driving by. This is a family friendly fiid bar restaurant with a full menu. Their pizza is on the bar or to order. The bar has meat and vegetables with 3 or 4 choices of each. The chicken fingers on this visit were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. There is an ample salad bar to have as a side or for your main course. Parking is in their lot and free with plenty of spaces.

The food is awesome and the service is always great. My only complaint is the woman with the blonde ponytail and glasses that works the register-she is there in the morning and Sundays. She is rude everytime when it comes to being seated. She also will stand and talk while people are waiting to be seated or pay and will ignore them and keep talking. It wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s not even about work she is always talking about personal things.

This place has awesome food and mostly awesome service. The only "problem" we have had is on weekend mornings for the breakfast. The breakfast food is great but the staff seem less than enthused to wait on folks,actually arguing over whose "turn" it is. The worse part is probably the lady working the cash register. She seems to spend most of her time talking about people and making excuses for not being able to work the register. Sad to bring down such an otherwise awesome place.

Had to wait on a lady to get off a personal call before she decided to bring us our drinks. Never saw a waitress again after our drinks. We got the food bar pancakes were cold and bacon cold. Eggs and gravy were a little warmer but not much. Will not be back for breakfast. Hopefully their dinner is better.

I would not recommend this place. Was seated in a booth that about cut my leg because of the big rips in the material. Tried this place because they advertised Greek food. The food really had no taste. And to top it off there were large roaches in the bathroom everywhere. Service was not the best.

I had eaten their food a couple times. I've had it delivered and ate there once. But today they lost it. Had me wait nearly an hour for my food for it to have been the completely wrong order. Had the delivery driver wait longer than necessary. Only for them to have lost the ticket to my order. I can understand it's not a chain restaurant, or is just starting out but they lack professionalism in how they handle things. I could tell by the way I observed the staff when I sat in and ate one night. Sure some people have better experiences with the ace and keep going back but not me. I've lost all interest in the place.

This was my first time eating here and it will be my last. The place was not clean, my seat was dirty, windows on the doors really needed a good cleaning and food was cold. The pizza was so cold, I was afraid to eat it. They had a menu and maybe that is what we should have picked from, but we decided to try the food bar. Service wasn't so good either. She brought us the check, but never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks. I did leave a tip, because that is what I do. I wish we had a better experience and would have read the reviews before going in. Fernando's, you really need to make some changes.
