Loved this place. The broccoli soup was to die for. The portions are HUGE. The fish plate has two fillets the size of the plate. What you can't eat will make a great meal the next day.

Wonderful location, wonderful staff, excellent food with great serving sizes. We really love the pimento cheese appetizer and the fried pickles with dill sauce. The loaded baked potatoe soup is one of the best I have ever had. It can get busy because it is one of the best in Greeneville, TN so prepare for a wait on weekends. So worth it though!

The fish was amazingly good, however the shrimp was hard from being overcooked. My husband told them and they gladly brought him more, however although better it too was overcooked. I'm not sure if they have changed the shrimp or the way they cook it but they used to have the best shrimp ever. Otherwise it was great.

Meal was soooo bad I called the manager after we left and told them to pull the "chicken salad" before it got someone else sick. (It wasn't really chicken salad, but that's what they were calling it on the menu.) As we left we asked if there was a liquor store nearby. There was. We went and bought a small bottle of liquor and I drank three or four ounces straight out of the bottle just to kill the bacteria in that dish. Good grief. They should be inspected by the health department. Nasty. Nasty. Nasty.

Fatz is a great place to go out for dinner. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The bread they bring out to the table is very good and their butter is delicious. The food does vary in quality and taste which is why I rated 4 stars.

Was there eating lunch yesterday may 8th and the food was great but the Service was mousey we were there almost 2 hours earing lunch and this was way to long when you have other things to do that afternoon I have eat there before but the Service was a lot better don't know what's going on there but you want stay in business long with that kind of Service

mashed potatoes were cold, fried foods overcooked to the point of being too hard to eat, steak was not cooked properly, and our order was not correct...... definitely not an enjoyable dining experience. The only good thing was that our waitress was sweet. The manager could take some "friendly" lessons from her.

Erin (even at seven months pregnant) is the best waitress I can think of to take care of my family in quite some time. When Scott is on duty as the manager there is no one more out friendly. He wanders the restaurant talking to everyone. Not just to be polite, but to truly get to know you and then find out if you enjoyed the food, service, and the desert, and also are you full, and happy. I like him and Erin. That's why we make it a point to eat there at least 3 out of 4 Friday evenings each month.

It is a great place to eat, the food is usually good and the service is usually good. Unfortunately, the last few times I have ate there the kitchen can not get the orders right, it does not matter if it is one simple change. If you do go, the waiters/waitresses are more than willing to help resolve any issues with the meal. Overall the place is well lit and is accommodating for any size group.

Great place to stop by and have lunch. Wait times are not bad at all. Seated rite away waiter took drink order rite away. Upon bringing our drinks we was ready to order and it wasn't long at all our food was brought out. I recommend eating here. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Service was okay. Steak was great . Rolls where good. Broccoli was bad. They didn't trim ends , so you could see the brown mold. Lemonade was also great just the right sweetness. I would consider going back but would not get broccoli.

Stopped in after 8 p.m. on a Saturday night. Hostess and server were very friendly. Food came to the table quickly. Food was great. Southern greasy goodness. There are healthy choices on the menu. Drinks from the bar were good as well. We had an appetizer, 3 24 oz. drinks from the bar and 2 entrees for $63.

I live in Knoxville and when we came to visit family from this area we chose FATZ because I had never ate here.The first visit food was great and service was great.My second time service was not good our server was running herself to death and she also had to make her own drinks at the bar we had to wait forever for food our salads came out before appetizer after waiting for a long time then we gave up although we felt it was not our servers fault the kitchen I felt was to blame we let them know to cancel our order and we would pay for what we already ate.Manager should spend more time making sure the cooks are getting the servers food out when it should be because that effects their tips.We did let the server know that we were not upset with her because she was very over whelmed and running herself to death and we tipped her .

We had not been there in quite some time, my husband used to always live their baby back ribs. Well this visit he ordered the baby back ribs and they served " chunks"!! Not even a true order of ribs. I guess that would give an account as to why they sell them now by the pound. The food he was served looked awful...some of the rib chunks didn't even have barbeque sauce on them.

First of all the food was the best part of this experience and that's what the stars are for. The hostess were quick and courteous and all of the other servers seemed to be also. The woman we got for our server was nice but obviously very busy with what seemed to be no help at all. She had three or four tables plus the bar. Almost the entire hour and a half we were there the manager was standing and talking to the table behind us not helping our server at all. But again the food was really good!

In town from Florida visiting my parents and as always we stopped at Fatz to eat. While there saw an ad for buy $50 gift card get $20 free. So trying to decide where to take the whole family for New Years Eve dinner I decided to purchase $150 worth of cards. Why not when your getting $60 for free (Fyi these bonus cards are in $5 increments). While purchasing I asked the hostest when we could use them "she replied anytime" which was perfect because tomorrow was New Years Eve. She then proceeded to say that we could only use 2 ($5 ) card per check but no worries because if you do separate checks you can use more as it's kind of a loop hole in the rules. Thinking wow that's wonderful! I decided to come back later that day to eat lunch and in further discussion with another staff member we foind out everything we were lead to believe was basically incorrect. You can only use the bonus cards after January 1st (which defeats our reasoning for purchasing the cards) and you can only use one bonus card ($5 each) per check not two. I politely asked for the manager and explained the situation. The end result was I asked for a full refund on my $150 purchase purchase (mind you there was no resistance from the manager) which was done and that being said we won't be back for New Years Eve dinner and for that fact probably not again in the future.

This nastiest place I’ve ever eaten. It doesn’t even deserve one star. When you walk in the door the smell of old grease will knock you down. The carpet on the floor was disgusting. The food was average at most. You walk out smelling like a grease pit. Absolutely awful! We wont be returning.

I ordered pork chops and was told about 10 minutes after ordering that they were out of pork chops. No big deal had a sirloin steak instead. Food was very good and after being told about pork chops took about 15 minutes to get our food. Excellent waitress and atmosphere.........loved the rolls and honey butter! We will return.

Food was delicious, and the portions generous! Was served promptly. I got steamed spinach, and it was cooked perfectly!! Beautifully green, very fresh, and not soggy. Sirloin also very tender and tasty. Service was very attentive and polite. The manager or owner came around as well to assure we were happy. Very pleased, and will be back with family too!

Fatz has been bought and sold several times in the last few years. I no longer recommend it. The quality is in question. In Greeneville, try the new Aubrey's. It's much better.

This was my absolutely favorite restaurant because of my visit today. The waitress was very kind, the food was amazing and we even got our drinks in to go cups. TO GO CUPS!! the coleslaw was on a piece of lettuce so it didn’t get my chicken all soggy. I mean! Omg! My entire visit was blowing my mind. The soup was out of this world, the rolls you get were super soft and delicious! I swear I’m never going to another restaurant beside this one. Thank you for a wonderful lunch and a wonderful experience on my date day with my husband!
