Wow, awesome bison burger cooked perfectly the way I like it. Even the fries were above average excellent! Great service. Just a tad noisy, but hey it was packed. Small price to pay when big crowd didn't mean compromise in service. Never disappoints! Love going there!

I have been to The Depot twice in the last month and it has been subpar at best. I had eaten there about a year ago and really enjoyed it. So, after the first bad experience, I figured I'd give it another shot. The last 2 visits I've ordered the crab cakes and the hamburger steak. Both of them came out looking and tasting like something that I could buy in the frozen section at Wal-Mart. Not impressed whatsoever. It will be a long time before I go back...IF I ever do. The only thing that was good was the salad.

Hands down the best and most consistent (front & back of house) restaurant outside of downtown BNA and the perimeter. Absolutely love it. Great menu choices to fit all taste & budgets. I am all over the smoked salmon dip & rack of lamb...some of the best I have ever had.

Much better experience than previous. Chicken parm sandwhich was wonderful. Hot crispy chicken with just the right amount of creamy tomato based sauce and heavy melted cheese. The bun was excellent flavor. We sat outside because it was suppose to be nice out but it was chilly. No worries the heaters were wonderful. Our waited was wonderful. I will update with name as soon as i find the receipt. Sorry. Chips and salsa .. Chips were fresh and hot. Salsa was perfect mix of sweet and chunky tomato. Great time. Glad we gave it another chance

The food was delicious and plentiful. I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer for the 3 of us, and they were so good. The Tropical Salad is a perfect choice on a hot day, loaded with greens, grilled chicken, and fruits. I will definitely be back!!

First time visiting was highly recommended by friends who live in the area. I had the steak and bleu salad. It was excellent. Steak cooked well and tender. I would definitely order a steak dinner next trip. Reasonable prices and a variety for everyone. Vegetarian and seafood dishes as well as steaks and burgers. Sandwiches to hearty dinner plates. Full bar. Fast friendly service. Busy and small. Family friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating.

My family loves to eat at the Depot. We have learned what days and times are best otherwise we just do call ahead seating. I’ve never had a bad meal. If you’re into Salsa and chips you have to get them. Their chips are freshly made and the salsa is outstanding. Everything from hamburgers, fresh seafood and pasta dishes are amazing. We love the quaint ambiance and history in this building as well. And... It really is an old depot and there are trains that pass occasionally, But it’s not a disturbance.

Food was delicious waitress was nice. Could have been a little nicer when we walked in and greeted or something but no big deal. My dad has the depot burger was good and i had the Rueben which fell apart but was really good. We got sweet potato fries that came with s very yummy cinnamon butter. Sweet tea wasn’t sweet enough for me but i added sugar so it was all good. Def plan on coming back !

Best food ever. If you go and want steak try the Texas Tails, so tender you don't really need a knife. Actually I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered there. When strawberries are in season locally try their strawberry shortcake.

Visiting Springfield and took a chance on The Depot...glad we did! We ordered appetizers and dessert....the Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie is DELISH! Only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars, is that the space is a bit cramped, and I'd love to see this restaurant in a somewhat larger venue. Definitely recommend!

Get the ribs! We went last night and got there at 5 PM and the place was full on Tuesday. It’s kind of small and it’s always busy. Get out of Nashville and eat with the locals it’s worth the trip.

I was with a birthday party of 11, the food and service was great as usual, but unfortunately this visit was spent waving flies away from the food the entire time. So much so, that I gave up trying to eat and put my food in a to go container. I would expect this problem if we were eating outside, but this was inside.

Excellent place to eat in the town of Springfield. The service here is unparalleled amd lunch or dinner you wpnt be disappointed. Main thing to note about this place is that its typically busy, especially on peak hours. Weekends are more concern for that. It's a unique place in its own though amd worth a visit if you're a local or passing through.

Phenomenal. 5 stars for everything. The location was neat (next to the train tracks) but surprisingly it was not obnoxiously loud when one went by. The feel inside the restaurant was relaxing and the service was awesome. I had the Rueben and I must say it was delicious. I have had the pleasure of eating my fair share of Rueben’s at deli’s in the northeast and this one could go toe to toe fo Sho!

We used to love The Depot. But our last experience has us questioning. We had their stake salad and a side of scallops. The lettuce wea wilted, old, and nasty. The scallops still had bits of shell in them. I bit down a it felt like I chipped a tooth. We could have made this better at home.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. I has the chicken salad and the sweet potato fries. My son stole my fries because he loved the dipping sauce. They have a bison burger which he enjoyed. Wish it was closer to my house because I would definitely frequent it.

I loved this place! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent (Steak Medallions), and cooked perfectly, and had a wonderful flavor. The Depot sits right beside some railroad tracks, and train came by twice, bit it didn't disturb or take away from our experience. I will definitely be coming back here again.

My wife & I visited for dinner this evening. The wait for a table was a little longer than expected, but once seated the experience was top notch. Our server Justin was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I ordered the top sirloin and my wife ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and tasted great. We didn't order drinks, appetizers or dessert. Both our meals came with a salad and side and we were completely satisfied. Also, for a total bill of $42 (including tax & 20% tip) I have zero complaints. We'll be back!

I really enjoyed the environment. The food was pretty good. The avocado dip was not too good. So I would skip that if you go there. The train did go by while we were there. That was nice and added to the environment. I would leave small kids at home. A mommy group was there with 4 6-8 month old babies. It was not the best atmosphere with them crying.

We frequent this establishment a minimum of 3 times a month, sometimes more. All of their food is superb. My family are big fans of theirs. The steaks are always top notch. They also have some more eclectic items such as smoked duck salads and quesadillas. They have a broad selection of items to appeal to most anyone's desires, without being overwhelming. I recommend this to, literally, everyone I know. I've taken several friends there and The Depot never ceases to impress.

Another of the few times I can give 5 stars. Staff, when they found put I'd never been there. They gave me a quick tour of the place. An extremely nice touch. Food was awesome. The steak was as near perfect as any high end restaurant in a major city. Cost, reasonable is an under statement. Stop by if your ever in that town.

I had take out for lunch from the depot today. The hobo wrap with chicken was great!!! I really enjoyed the banana pudding and duck quesadilla as well! I ordered the sweet potato fries as my side, and this was the only thing I was disappointed in, as they were soggy. The flavor was still good though and they’re served with a delicious cinnamon butter. I’ll definitely be back!

Love The Depot Bar & Grill. The Depot Burger was soooooo good & juicy I had to use napkin to protect my shirt. The onion rings was good as well. Price for 7 plates was under $70. I would go there again.

The review and visit for Saturday, February 16, 2019. I started off with an appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes, Salad, New York Strip, with Onion Rings. Not showing in the photos is the Carrot Cake to go. The food and services are great. They have a wide variety to choose from there menu. I drove up to Nashville seeing Springfield Tennessee. I was worth the trip.
