Demos' is such a friendly and an overall nice place to eat. as of this review, I've been 3 times, and each time, the service has been incredible, the food has been amazing, and everything is just so clean and organized. My favorite part is how a sign in the kitchen states that in all that they do, they do it to glorify God. Overall, me and my family will continue to visit Demos'Restaurant whenever we're in the area.

Was looking forward to eating some great Italian food and knew going here would be expensive but awesome. Unfortunately had a new waitress who wasn't ready to be on the floor. Had a drink and served a side of meatballs which was incredible, however that where things ended. After 30 mins the waitress asked how our meal was that she never gave us. In a panic she rushed to get our salads but put the wrong dressing on. Everybody makes mistakes but I wasn't in the mood and ended the meal there. The manager offered to correct the mistake but at the price of what one pays I just expected top notch service. All in all, I'd go back but would expect top notch again. They do have great food

It was very good, we always go there when we travel to Vanderbilt Medical Center, homemade ranch salad dressing was superb. The alfredo sauce we had was wonderful, one small complaint, not hardly enough sauce to coat fettuccine noodles. But it was a good portion. Look forward to returning.

We had dinner at the Demo's in Lebanon, TN tonight. I love this place. You can count on the service being on point and the food is always top quality. They have the best thousand island dressing! My daughter loves their soup. Everything comes out fresh and hot. Their rolls are soooooo good.

I went with my husband, our son and 4 other people. My son and I ordered the all you can eat soup. That's what we always get. Everyone else got bigger meals with chicken or steak and had no complaints. My son and I didn't eat but a couple bites of our soup, because it just didn't taste like it usually does. It had a strange off flavor and the chicken tasted very fatty which is extremely unusual for the soup. We get it every time we come here and even order quarts to go often. The server was okay but she was kinda rude, the way she would talk and say things made it seem like she really was disappointed to be there or maybe it was because we had 7 plus a highchair and she didn't want that many people. Not sure, I couldn't tell. Im sure we will be back eventually but one more experience with a rude server and we probably won't return since the last 4 or 5 times we have visited each of the servers we had have been rude every single time.

It's okay. We have eaten here a few time. The food was always good but just average. I guess this place is American Italian fusion. We have only been to the Lebanon location. The guest here are very diverse. Some are dressed up and others come in wearing sweat pants and flip-flops. I have a few friends that really love this place but for me it's not in my "A-List".

Demos' has four locations. This review is focused on the Lebanon location which is where I've visited the most. Demos' has always been a great place to go for good food at reasonable prices. The service is also high quality as well. What is extraordinary about this place is that they do a good job of seating people quickly despite the large number that you find waiting during their busy times. (compared to similar restaurants.)

Demos is a very good restaurant. Is it a top steak house? No, but the steaks are very good and cooked to order. The pasta dishes are also good. I have never had a bad meal here. It is what I expect when I go here. Service has been great at the two locations I have visited.

Demo's is a favorite of mine. Only giving three stars today mostly due to the service. I was there on Derby day and ordered a Mint Julep. The waitress did not know what that was and would not even ask the bartender about the drink. She came back to the table and said they didn't have the ingredients to make it. I ask what they didn't have, she walked away, returned to the table later and said they did not have any mint. It did not seem legit.

***** 5 stars for service *** 3 Stars for food Came by on a Sunday at lunch time and after a brief wait, we're seated. The service was impeccable. Great server, and multiple staff managers were walking the floor to help where needed. Awesome. The food was good. Certainly not great, but passable. Steak was cooked accurately but the texture was quite grainy. Noodles a tad overdone, alfredo sauce was tops, and the chicken soup also great. It was hailed as the best Italian food in the country by members of my group. They missed the mark, but Demo's still provides a passable experience for casual American Italian.

I used to love Demos' and looked forward to visiting when we passed through Lebanon. Unfortunately the last 2 times we have visited the service and food do not meet expectations. Both times the soups have been lukewarm at best. The pasta had minimal taste and then on our last visit was horrible. The food was significantly delayed since someone broke a plate on the grill then the waiter brought our check before we even had our food. When we tried to leave they offered 1 dessert for the significant issues. The final straw was waiting forever to pay and then going to the front to find someone to take our money. At this point I do not plan on going back any time soon. I sure hope things improve since at one time it was really good.

I've placed orders at the Lebanon restaurant and have gotten different prices each time. Wanting an extra roll or two costs extra and you get as many as you want when dining in, mentioned that too. Good is good but inconsistencies bother the begibies out of me. Satisfied but not.

I was honestly so surprised with everything. Service was warm, kind, and attentive. The quality you get for the price, in my opinion, is magnificent. The blackened chicken pasta sauce on spaghetti went perfectly, for me, with my 7oz sirloin. The salad was great, too, since most of the dressings are made in house. They serve bread with the meal, too. Simply delicious. I would recommend to anyone passing through, to anyone staying for a bit, or to anyone who resides here but hasn't tried it yet.

We stopped here as the midway point of an 8 hour road trip, and we were not disappointed! Jordan was our server and took great care of us. He was attentive and friendly and we enjoyed being taken care of by him. We each ordered something different - salmon, grilled chicken tenders, pepper steak, Mexican spaghetti - and each thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The 6 oz grilled tenders doesn't look like much but it is quite satisfying and delicious! I highly recommend it. The cheese bread was yummy, and our water was very watery. Just what you would expect. :) we enjoyed listening to a variety of music piped through their speakers from pop to Christian music, and appreciated their mission to glorify God and serve Him through service to their customers. That's very impressive, especially since they really do model that mission well. On the way out we were touched to see New Testaments out for anyone who may desire a copy. The atmosphere was cozy and we would love to come back, possibly on our way back home. Oh, and the fireplace was pretty.

Worst Italian food I've ever had! Who uses imitation crab meat? In a seafood pasta. The alfredo sauce was cold and bland. Tried my wife's meal Hamburger steak also cold and bland. Ravioli from a can would have been better. I'm no Gordon Ramsey but have been to culinary school and my chef would have had a Gordon Ramsey moment had I served that cold garbage. The environment inside matched the customer base as well, dated. 10/10 would not recommend.

I've always had great meals at all locations, unfortunately my wife and I ate there this evening (5-28-19) around 4:30 PM. Waitress was awesome! Unfortunately cant say that about our food this round. My soup came out cold, and main entree was luke warm at best, but it wont stop us from eating there.

Great food as usual. I've been free quitting demos' for 11 years and have never been dissatisfied with the service or the food. I've never had to worry about taking people there that are visiting from out of town and wonder if the service our food was going to be an embarrassment. In fact some of my family makes me go over and by their seasoning and sugar water on a yearly basis. And our waitress, Cheryl, was Lively and forthright in meeting our every need while we ate there.

I personally was not happy with my food or service. Our waitress seemed continually distracted. The food took longer than usual to get out and was lukewarm. My chicken was "stringy" and hard to cut. Also, the vegetables on the seafood fettuccine I we're not cooked. Not at all like it was within the last ten years.

First time there (Lebanon,TN) No one, I repeat no one waiting in the extensive waiting area and we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for our party of 2. We chose to sit in the empty bar (Wednesday night) and had a delightful dining experience at the expert hands of Renee. I enjoyed the brown butter garlic spaghetti. Rob had the meatball with meat sauce spaghetti. The meatballs were divine and the sauce did not stick to the pasta. The rolls were nice with a light cheesy crust and the salads fresh and not too large. Alcoholic drinks are not inexpensive so not a hang out kind of place, but did not ask about beer prices. Pasta entrees run between $10-12. They offer ONE kind of soup and limited dessert flavors. EVERYTHING is said to be made in-house, including salad dressings.

Walked in and no one was at the cash register or the check in podium. I'm literally looking around for someone to help me. The cashier walks up on the phone never making eye contact or acknowledging that I was there. She continued to take the phone order instead of placing the call on hold to take care of the customer in front of her which was me. This is customer service 101! You take care of the customer in front of you first! I'm sitting here waiting on my food and the cashier has 2 people that have walked in for service and she is on another phone order. PLEASE someone train this woman in customer service!!!!!!!!!

One of the BEST restaurants to dine-in in Lebanon. One of the WORST restaurants to place a to-go order in Lebanon. Can't tell you how many times I (or someone I know) have placed a to-go order, driven all the way home, unpacked it at the house and something be wrong or completely missing! Employees need to be trained to check everything over and go over it with you on your receipt to make sure it's all there. There's nothing worse than your 9 year old being excited over some Demos' chicken soup and getting home and it not being there- and having to give them half your meal because an employee was careless. Demos' is very good about refunding their mess-ups and correcting their mistakes, but it's still disappointing to have a to-go order wrong (numerous times) and to get home and not have food to eat! I've even driven back to pick up what they forgot to include and what I've paid for, and by the time I've driven back and then driven home, the rest of the family was done eating and family time around the dinner table was interrupted because of a simple mistake made at the restaurant.

Outstanding restaurant! The wait staff is efficient and welcoming providing tasty palate pleasing fare that has never been compromised in my many visits there. Excellent menu choices and overall atmosphere. Exceptional cleanliness and attention to details just add to the fine dining experience you are bound to have. Tips: the rolls are killer and if you think you hate spinach try Jim's Famous Spinach. You'll be a convert by bite number 2!

Demos' is a fantastic place for lunch or dinner. I love the Marinara Cajun Chicken Sandwich with red beans and rice. Big enough for 2 people for around 11 bucks. Oh, and it comes with a house salad.

Go there and get the pasta. Go there and get the steak. Go there and expect great service. I give 4 instead of 5 stars because one should not go there for chicken. Twice I have ordered chicken and twice I've been a bit disappointed by how dry and tough it was. Definitely try all the different past sauces. All of them are delicious. Great bread. Great soup.

I had low expectations going in but the spaghetti was actually really really good. I had mine with meat sauce and I’d totally get it again. The steak on the other hand was strange. It says on the menu that they age it in house but they aren’t aging it properly. It doesn’t taste aged, it tastes old, there’s a difference. There’s other steak options around, stick with those. If it’s spaghetti you seek then you have the right place.

One of my family's favorite restaurants! Prices have gone up over the years, but what hasn't. Still a good value for the excellent, tasty food. Hard to go wrong with the steak and spaghetti, I especially like the club steak. Usually a wait, but the tables move well and the wait is not outrageous. Friendly staff too. Big shout out to Justus who served us most recently. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great meal!

Ther isnt a better restaurant in Tennessee qhen you want suberb sevice, great food, large menu, nice atmosphere and at a very reasonable price. My son was on the wait staff at the original Demos and can attest to their high service standards. This is the gold standard for overall restaurant experience.

A bit of a surprised there was a half hour wait at 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Others who came in after we did were seated and had been waited on before our waiter came to our table. we placed our order and it took a good while for us to get our salad and bread. I ordered salmon and it was stiff as a board because it truly was burnt and I had to send it back. management came by to ask I told them what had happened they said they would check on it and return. a they never showed back up. this is really strange because normally demos has way better service than what we experienced on this visit. after we returned the burnt salmon it was evidently a wake-up call for the waiter as he seemed to perk up and give us better service because of that. Demos did comp the salmon and they should, but overall we were disappointed. the Alfredo sauce for the seafood fettuccine was extremely thick and inedible after trying to eat more than half of it. the food and the service just wasn't where it should have been.

Demo's Restaurant is a true Nashville Treasure as they have one restaurant located downtown & another in Hendersonville. Its got a nice ambience & lighting that is great for a date, family gathering, or birthday & can accommodate a big or small party easily. There may be a wait, so call ahead but they stay open pretty late. They are known for their variety of pasta dishes, fresh baked bread, & soups

A very cute restaurant. Staff are very friendly and our waiter Patryk was awesome. He was very understanding of my food allergies and was happy to make sure I was safe to eat what I ordered. The food was amazing! My husband got the steak and I got the seafood Alfredo. We both ate until we were do full we felt as if we were going to explode. Really good dinner. First time trying spaghetti with meat sauce and loved it. Will be back for sure. This was our best experience there so far with first couple times just being so so. Always busy but good wait staff.

Everything is great here. The food is good, the service is good, and it's an attractive place to eat. The brown butter and garlic sauce is fantastic. On the keto diet, you can get the steak and broccoli, and have them put the brown butter and garlic sauce on it. Their chicken and rice soup is fantastic, and you can get them to give you mostly just the broth so you can eat it as a low-carb option.

I just came here with my friend and the service was awesome! Our server was named Phylicia, and she was both efficient and kind. We came in during the lunch hour, so the prices were economical and the food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again!

Had their grilled salmon with the 3 pieces "Jumbo" shrimp. Everything was very tasty. But I subtracted 1 star for calling the regular shrimp jumbo... I've had bigger shrimp on a cold salad.

Service was great. I just went for a call in order but they had it done quickly and spot on. From what I hear the soup is great especially when sick and the lady that was helping me offers some condiments such as parmesan cheese and utensils.

It was fair. Wait staff was really nice but the food was somewhat blah and it came out cold. I had higher hopes than what we ended up getting. People come to the place in droves though. They wait a long time to be seated so maybe it was just an off night. Doubtful we will go back.

This is a fine dining 4 star restaurant. Ive been several times. My personal experience was I was tired from traveling I always order medium steak. I cut a qaurter portion off and it was still bloody.. The bartender was avout to go on break and came back when I called him. Instead of a fresh steak they took my 2 pieces and cooked them somehow well done. Needless to say my dogs enjoyed the steak
