Chow Time has a great selection of items from Chinese to meatloaf and lots of items in between. There is something here everyone can enjoy at very affordable prices. The wait staff is awesome and the food is definitely worth the trip.

Always good when I go. Make sure you guys go MONDAY-FRIDAY between the hours of 11am-3pm. It's significantly cheaper then and less people.

This place is filthy and attracts the same. Greasy and disgusting food, roach infested kitchen, greasy fingerprints all over the glass doors, the carpet looks like it's hasnt and been vacuumed in over a week nor cleaned in over a year. it is dark inside and very uninviting. I couldn't stomach eating here. Don't read the lying reviews and the photos were from when the place was new.

I love this place. The buffet is huge with a variety of good home cooking including hot water cornbread lots of delicious vegetables and a variety of meats. The only criticism I would give is that the cornbread dressing is not predictable..sometimes it is seasoned well and other times pretty blah with not much flavor as if there is no sage in it...you never know- but there is so much other stuff to eat and it is delicious for the most part. Excellent soup and cornbread. Perfect tea. PLUS ORIENTAL food that is so fresh and delicious.. Would like to see Moo Goo Gai Pan on a regular basis and peppers in the General Tsao's Chicken but overall love the variety offered daily. You will not leave hungry.

I believe it would impossible to find a buffet with a wider variety of delicious tasting options. I'm not a vegetarian, but the vegetables are so fresh and flavorful that it wouldn't be a difficult transition to make. Plus the hot food is hot and cold is cold. You might think that would be a simple step to accomplish, but many buffets haven't mastered this important step. And though this is a large buffet, you don't feel alone once you've been seated. The table service and the buffet replenishment is constant and courteous.

This place is very unique an all you can eat place with everything. I have never seen all you can eat hog maws and pig feet on the buffet bar. My son went crazy because he lives both of them. So if you are a really country person and southern this is the place for you. They have other food as well the is good too. I will definitely be back to visit on my way back to Memphis.

Firstly, it's really crowded. Secondly, the food was "okay" at most. Third, at least 1/5 of the bowls weren't clean. However, the waiters and waitresses were amazing and the place was clean. That's the only reason I didn't give this place one star.

The food was set up in a way that if you don't eat pork or meat in general you would not be able to eat because the meats and vegetables were next to each other. I just know meat juice was in most of the veggies. The best item was just alright. The restrooms were atrocious; I've been in nicer porta potties. It smells and the customer service needs help.

I see why this place has great reviews. I actually left full and satisfied. I went later in the evening and most times when you go later in the evening the food service is poor. Not here. They were still cooking and bringing out fresh food. Every thing was edible and delicious. The turn around is very fast here. The Sheriff at the front door is very sweet

Pretty yummy, nice selection of food. I liked the fish and chicken especially. You get a choice between Chinese and southern style cooking. The dessert section could have been better, but by the time you fill up on food you'll barely have room for it. My child got shrimp, rice, and the egg drop soup, she was pretty pleased also. I was shocked that they even have neck bones and chitterlings! I would go back.

First and last time in this place! It smelled SOOOOOOOOO bad once you enter the dining area and even worst in the back where they seat all parties 5 or more! I can’t tell you if the food is good because I couldn’t eat. The carpet was HORRIBLE for it to be a restaurant! $78 wasted! If I could give this place a -5 I would!

It was awful! Their website and their front door states that they close at 9pm. After traveling all day we wanted a good meal. We go in and the girl says they don't serve after 8:30 only take out!! It was 8:33 so I said it's only 8:29 in a smiling tone and she said no only take out. Nowhere did it show 8:30 so we didn't eat there.

As I was in the dessert section, I spotted a dead fly among the cake rolls. Also, when I was making a plate, I noticed the chef scooped up the shrimp that had fallen into the wrong container with a different sauce and put it back in its original container... instead of disposing of it. I visited ChowTime yesterday (6/9/19) on a visit to Memphis from Chicago and me and my family LOVED this place. They told me about it so i wanted to see what the fuss was about. It was SUPER busy with long lines and I didn't hear 1 PERSON complain about the lines. The patrons were also very helpful. I was inquiring about the lines and another customer told me the line I should be in. Love that Southern Hospitality! Chicago is quite different. I'll be back for sure.

i had eaten many times at Chow Time without incident. That is why I was so disappointed when a small black ant appeared at my table. I excused one ant and then a second. When the third ant appeared I asked my server to get the manager. The manager came to my table, pulled out his phone and seemed to take a picture of the ant and then walked away with the ant on my receipt. He returned and said he called pest control and asked if I wanted another table. I said no, that doesn't help the situation. He offered to take 50% off my next visit. Why would I come back? When I asked for a refund, he stated he was trying to resolve the situation and told me I should have told the server when I saw the first ant so I could get another table. I could have alerted all the customers to the ant situation and that they might be eating ants but instead I left quietly never to return. The manager should have had sense enough to resolve the situation to my satisfaction as most decent restaurants would have done. Bad experience!

I've been here before but didn't remember until I arrived. The food on the buffet was great. In terms of food, no sushi bar was the only disappointment, in terms of food. Yes that naughty little "no weapons allowed" sign is still there. If management reads these reviews please take that sign down. Whether or not your patrons are carrying a concealed weapon is none of your business. Yes you have private property rights. However your patrons concealed weapon is protected not only by the 2nd Amendment but also carries the full protection of the 4th Amendment's expectation of privacy, which takes precedence over your private property rights. Oh and be mindful that if someone does come in and open fire, your security guard will simply be the FIRST victim. He won't even get the chance to figure out something is happening.

The people crowd you, break line order, push over you, reach over your plate to grab food, they are loud and rude. If you plan on a dessert choice after your meal, you will be disappointed.

Hadn't eaten here in about 2 years. Much better experience than I've had in the past. The resturant appeared clean. The buffet area well kept and the staff wasn't harrassing the customers as I have experienced in the past. What I didnt like was you had to pay before you ate. As with most buffets, there's a lot of food to choose from, Italian, Asian, traditional Southern style but not exactly Southern seasoned dishes and desserts. Some good, some great and some not so good. Facility needs a good cleaning, surfaces were not clean and were dusty and sticky

I recently went here on Saturday April 27th, 2019 and the service was beyond excellent and the food was beyond delicious. Everything was fresh, there was plenty of food. Each time something was out, they brought some more right back out. Great Restaurant. I recommend coming here whenever your hungry, you get the best of both worlds, Chinese and Soul Food.

I frequent this place quite often. If it doesn't offer anything else, it offers consistency. The food is always fresh and good. They have so many selections to choose from. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because you have to pay before you eat. I can understand the reasoning behind it but if you don't have any cash on you and you want a quick bite to eat it can be an awkward situation when you can't leave your waiter a tip.

The food is good, but the place is old and looks not well kept. The carpet has spots on it everywhere. The booth are outdated and you can feel the other person moving, when you are seated, against your back. The bathrooms are hedious, to say the least. I will not be back, until they do a remodel.

We got to the restaurant at 8:55. They close at 10. We took a chance and said we can eat in an hour. The food was still hot and fresh up until we left. Most restaurants you go to an hour before close food is awful and at the bottom of the barrel. And as far as cooking any more fresh food , chances are it won't happen. Chow time's food was good and some of it was so hot you could barely eat it. We loved it and will definitely be back.
