Fantastic buffet! The hostess was very kind and welcoming and the servers were great. Never let our drink get empty. Everyone does a great job here. The food was all fresh (we got there right after the buffet opened) and everything was delicious. It was Sunday when we went and the seafood was excellent. The shrimp were very tasty as well as the crab legs, oysters, and lobster bisque. I tried a few other dishes and everything was cooked well and seasoned well. The selection is huge and there's something for everyone. The dessert bar was amazing. If you ever visit Cherokee Casino, or are in the area, this buffet is worth the price and the time.
Buffet was great it was better then buffets in Las Vegas only thing missing was crab legs oysters was kinda small I will definitely be going back to eat the buffet
This place is not worth the money for what it is. First off, I use to live in Louisiana. So when the seafood is not fresh, I'm very disappointed. Oysters should be shelled no more than 30 min before you eat them. The oysters at this buffet seemed as if it's been shelled a week before they're put on the buffet; "no exaggeration". The crab legs were dry and hard to get the meat out. The sushi table is a joke. Chef stage's sushi is comparable to sushi at a convenient store that's been left out for 5 days and people refuse to buy. At this price point, they should have sashimi and nigari sushi in the selection for real sushi enthusiasts. The desserts look good but cakes are dry. Again it's like they make 100's of cakes and refrigerate them and serve it for the entire week. I have tried this place more times than I should, thinking it's going to be better than the last. Just to be disappointed every single time. Until the food quality is improved, I will no longer go. Even if it's free.
Excellent selection of food. Good atmosphere.
All the food was amazing
Tried a variety of dishes, some good some bad but overall a very pleasant experience for me and my family. Staff were very delightful and helpful. Will be returning
The manager on duty Connie B was very rude and disrespectful. She has no ability to make decisions based on common sense. Harrahs has always been very good with customer service but for this particular employee I give her a Fat “F”.
Great casino buffet! Wide variety & good quality. No long lines like Vegas. Pretty much on par with some of the best ones in Vegas but cleaner. Nice staff. They have a made to order crepe station. Hard ice cream or gelato. Made to order Antipasto. A gray deal if seafood, including crawfish! Dinner is in the $30 range. Go and you won't be disappointed.
Always a crowd pleaser when we have friends in town. Alex was our server and he did a spectacular job. Our drinks were never empty and the table was regularly bussed. Everyone at the table mentioned the good service. Such a rare thing to find in a city these days. We have to travel to a remote location like this to experience it. There were a few servers who seemed more interested in carrying on conversations in Spanish within their little clique rather than pick up a single piece of paper (napkin) in the middle of the floor they walked by several times. I took note of it each time I went back to the buffet. It must've sat there untouched for the duration of our visit. I finally picked it up myself. It's just irritating to watch some employees hustle while another (presumably getting the same hourly pay) treats their place of employment as a hang out. If you don't need the money, quit. Let someone who believes in EARNING their paycheck have a chance. The rest of our visit to the casino was enjoyable as always, thanks to the hard working folks who keep it that way. Rest assured your contributions do not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
It was probably the best buffet I've ever eaten at. Great variety. Italian, Asian, German. Amazing salad bar and desserts. The shrimp, mussels and oyster bar was fresh. Definitely worth the price
The buffet alone is worth the trip. Have yet to eat something I disliked. Even the Jello is outstanding. In fact once you try their jello and see for yourself how amazing it is you will say to yourself " If someone can make something as simple as Jello that amazing...and I cant evem get mine to get firm in the icebox...I must suck at life " Yes the Jello is just that good. They also have the most amazing coffee youll ever taste as well.
Great food and wonderful service. It’s a great place if u had big family or with friends or even take your date too.
I've been to caesars palace buffet in Las Vegas and this one is on par if not better. Both are around the same size but I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes to get into this one even during peak hours.(compare to an hour+ standing in line at Caesars). The sushi is never that great here and they only ever have 2 choices. However they do have fantastic everything else from Italian to fresh steak cut off the bone for you. They also have a very good desert section but I'm full on fresh oysters on the half shell and delicious lasagna before I make it to that point. Price is a little high but on par with most other casino buffets. My big two complaints are 1. The nasty and only 2 choices of sushi. 2. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Many people go to the casino on those days to avoid the crowd.. it'd be nice if this joint was open.
Excellent choices, great value ! This month (June '18), the specialty was Cajun, and it was fabulous ! I'd give it a 5, but a lot of the time the food is not hot, but at best warm.
AMAZING!!!!
I love this place! This is the best place for people who don't know what they want, because they have everything. They have a while dessert bar, BBQ, Asian, a huge salad bar, pizza and pasta, and a buffet that Changes every month that has food from different countries. My family eats there every time we have a special occasion.
Food was amazing. Loved the choices. Worth every penny
This is basically a glorified Golden Corral.. paging $30 for a buffet I expect some things to be fresh made and not straight from the freezer. It was good food but nothing to write home about.
Fast service, great value with large variety of foods.
Food was bland, very meh (especially for the price). Service was good though.
Love this place ❤️
Love this place they really had it all I'm going back for dinner.
Do it
Seems this place just keeps going down not worth the money food wasn't great use to be good when they had crab legs. Quality is not there anymore. Embarrassing really
The best of the best - Love it
Amazing food and service. Recommend hitting this place after a fun time downstairs at the casino.
Food delicious. Service good.
Food was amazing and our waitress, who I think name was Red was great
Ate the buffet tonight for the all you can eat crab legs. You was only allowed two clusters each time to the buffet. I ate 12 clusters. They was good but not as good as the beach. But good enough to satisfy my tastes for crab legs. A lot of the food on the buffet was bland. With a few good tasty things mixed in. Kids 5 and under eat for free. I ate and went in the casino and hit enough money to where the food was free so I really cannot complain. And I would probably go back.
We come here about once a month and love it every time!
Yummy buffet
Great selection, had to go back again, ready to go back now.so much to choose from
We don't get to go very often. But, each time we go it's always fresh, clean and the variety of foods is on point.
This place never disappoint me.
Very disappointing, not worth the price since they got rid of the all you can eat crab legs. And the food is a bit Bland
Was very skeptical about spending $26 on this buffet after reading the reviews but I was impressed with what they had to offer. Everything was fresh and a good overall selection of seafood. Flank steak was perfect. Shrimp were very fresh. Oysters were great. Had lots of sushi all though they don’t have a huge sushi selection. I don’t leave reviews but felt I had to in this case to defend some of the bad reviews I had read prior. Would go again. I do wish they offered a crab leg add on for a fee.
Loved it
Way over priced for the quality of food. Waitress was off putting and seemed to busy to help us out. Took 3 times to remember to bring us a drink refill. Meats were dry, shrimp was like rubber. This place was a miserable fail at their attempt to be fancy. Was very dissapointed in our visit.
The food was good, mostly. Maybe this was because we were there right at 1pm on a Saturday when the place opened, I do not know. The strip loin was flavorful and tender. My wife enjoyed the beer cheese and bacon soup and was absolutely floored by the broccoli casserole. I thought the roast beef in the BBQ section was slightly smoky but definitely flavored well. The brisket was tender, although I am not a fan of the house sauce. You may wish to get that on the side and dip. The only negative to this place was the fact that dessert was meh. They were afraid of being tart on dishes that were supposed to be tart. The raspberry bars and key lime cheesecake lacked all requisite tartness. Overall, this place is certainly worth the price. I just suggest eating more main courses and going light on the disappointing dessert selection.
Great selection. Very friendly staff.
Overall amazing quality for price of the buffet. Staff super friendly and attentive. First time going but not our last!! Choices include comfort food, Asian cuisine, Italian cuisine, chefs specialty (offering Celtic fare), and an amazing dessert bar with crepes made to order..
Good crab legs! Prime rib was a little tough. Couldn't find a steak knife. Butter knife didn't work well. Still great! I really like the oysters they are big and coming from Louisiana they have a jalapeno crawfish dish (boiled) that is auctuly extremely great since I can't get them from home. It is pricey though. That's why it's a once a month date day with extra $20 to go play games too.
If the price was less I would still give them a 2 star. Most meats were flavorless and dry. Really, the only thing edible and worth eating here is the mac n cheese, salad, and deserts. I am not really fond of Golden Coral and it is waaaayyy better than this place. I love steak, and I discarded the flank steak, which was like wet Jack Links jerky minus the flavor. Save your money folks and eat somewhere else.
Horrible food for a big price. You could chew the prime rib for days. The fried shrimp was cold and like rubber. The crab cakes were stale. All of the food was bad with our whole group. Everything was old and tasted like it had been left out all day.
Absolutely wonderful
Very good food and excellent service
Just excellent the service and the people host and chef great food nothing to complain about
Nice...
Sooooo yummy. Very good service. Much better than Vegas buffets. Food was very fresh.
Chinese area is usually not fresh the blond lady that cuts meat and chicken is very nice and helpful
Consistantly disappointing, Chefs Stage is to be avoided by tourists and locals alike. In my most recent trip I put 6 Oysters on the half shell on my plate. When I got to my table and they sat on the plate in front of me, they smelled putrid. Other at my table also discarded theirs. The "sushi" made of smoked fish, carrots, celery and some sauce that was very like thousand Island dressing, was not any identifiable sushi I have ever seen. It was gas station sushi. Then as we walked around the various food stations the service people seemed downright surley. As I walked up to the roast beef carving station the man looked me in the eye, turned and walked away. He did not come back for 10 minutes. The roast beef was cold. I was with friends, so I made the best of it. But if you want a good buffet, avoid Chefs Stage.
Great selection of food and staff was super friendly. They seated us 30 min before they closed and even offered to let us stay longer so we could finish.( only took us 25 to eat). Will be coming back!
I love this place.. My hubby and I like to sneak away and drive in the mountains.. We go here every chance we get.
Outstanding service. Food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.
The selection and quality of food was worth the $$ you spend a meal while in the area. Good amount of seafood choices as well. I didn't particularly like the pistachio pudding dessert (did not have the texture of a pudding more like gelatin), however the made to order crepes were really good. Also, the best customer service we've had in a while from our server April Brooks. If you happen to sit in her area you'll appreciate her attentiveness and friendly demeanor. :)
Food was great! Crab legs were tasty and plentiful. Tons of variety. Service was excellent.
It was really good food.
