The chicken was great, you can choose all white, all dark, or a combo plate with sided. The baked beans are to die for, some of the BEST I've ever eaten. Friendly staff with NO long waits. I recommend this for a excellent chicken dinner with a casual atmosphere ,at a good price.

This is a great spot to check out for some hot juicy fried chicken. The sides are okay, basically the bake beans tasted like pork and beans, but the staff is very friendly and the food comes out really fresh and make sure you get yourself some of that special sauce, it for extra but it’s great on the chicken.

Very cool theme. The walls and ceilings are very busy but don't really look cluttered or dirty or anything. The bathroom was pretty nice and clean, with plenty to look at. There is a decent selection of beer, my draft tasted good and seemed to be a good temperature. The only thing I found maybe a little odd was my beer coming in a plastic cup but it certainly didn't effect my experience. The chicken was very good, fries pretty average and mac and cheese was not bad. I was glad to see they have a parking lot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great experience

Mrs bbq loves the fried chicken here. It’s hot crusty and sure to please. I like the catfish. It’s thick meaty and has a light corn meal crust. They wrote the book on potato salad. Folks rave about tamales. Neither of us go near them. There is a lot made of these 40 oz beers. They sell a lot of them. It’s a fun place to eat. Service is agreeable and they keep it clean.

Visited Champy’s based on a google search on places to eat in the area. Not being from the area left me to visit based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Best fried chicken (aside from my mom) I’ve ever had! The sides were very tasty as well. Now every time i visit, i will be looking to return.

Just a traveller, I was craving fried chicken while on a road trip and Champy's did not disappoint! My daughter and I each ordered a 2 piece dark meat snack with a large side of green beans and a large side of mac and cheese to share. Everything came out so hot and fresh, I was really impressed. Loved the outdoor seating and bar too. A great place to stretch your legs and indulge!

What can i say? If you have eaten here ypu already know it is the best chicken ever! If you have not gone to Champy's you need to treat yourself (and friends and family) to the best darn food you can get for the price! You can not beat it. It is beyond good. Love this place! In the area visiting Chattanooga and stopped in. The tenders were good. The mac n cheese seemed to be something from the box for kids...wouldn't recommend it. The server was very friendly and the atmosphere was okay. Chicken took awhile but its supposed to be made fresh so that was expected. If you dont like extra crispy and heavy battered chicken then you wont be happy otherwise you'll be pleased. Green beans were good but portions were very small.

Very casual atmosphere. The low country boil crawfish dinner was awesome, a bit spicy, just the way I like it.. It took 20 minutes to prepare the chicken dinner that was ordered at our table. The chicken was juicy, but the breading was just average. I would definitely eat there again

One of my best dining experiences ever! The servers were all incredibly nice and welcoming. As we were walking up to the entrance we were immediately greeted and welcomed with a smile. Everything came out fast and the food was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere, service, and music just added to the experience. 10/10 would highly recommend. Megan always made sure our drinks were full and ran my dads jacket out to us when he forgot it!

I ordered my food at 12:30pm to be picked up BY 3:15pm on my lunch break. It's 3:42pm and my food is still not ready. This is the second time this has happened (and also the last). The food is fine. Come when you have plenty of time to spare. Definitely not on your lunch break. ☹️ Update: The issue was with DoorDash. Call them directly if you're picking it up. Staff/mgmt was super nice and understanding.

Great place to hang out down town to grab some chicken and a few beers! Also family friendly (I went during the day and it was family friendly for us! Not quite sure how the night life would be) got the fried pickles (they came half slice) and of course the chicken!

Everything we've eaten at Champy's is always delicious! They have the BEST fried chicken ever. We went when they were having a crawfish special and ordered some of that as well. It was fantastic! The service is always great as well. We will definitely be back!

Staff were energetic but seemed a bit overwhelmed. It appeared to be low staffing. We had to wait some time before ever being greeted and our drink order taken. Others experienced the same thing and one party discussed leaving. The green beans were horrible, the sauce (hot sauce?) They were cooked in was insanely overpowering and made them inedible. Mac and cheese was flat on flavor. The chicken was not anything I can't get at a local supermarket. It was good, but not fight a dinner crowd over good.

After a day of visiting the national parks in Chattanooga, we had to visit Chattanooga's number one fried chicken spot. This Champy's in particular has a large dedicated parking area which is ideal, as well as parking on the streets. The staff are attentive and extremely friendly. The food is absolute amazing and is the best fried chicken I have had. Amazing food. The portions are huge and not too expensive. Loved it! Would 100% visit again.

Hotel mentioned this place. Chicken was juicy and tasted good however breading was really greasy could not eat that part. Mac was good and cheesy. Slaw no bad. Key lime was just Ok. Good key lime does not need whip cream. I used DoorDash for the first time. The driver sat for 15 minutes she said waiting for them. This is good that it was fresh but they should Time this out better. Took 1hr 15 to come from .9 miles away.

This restaurant has the best chicken that you will ever eat in the entire southeast region of the country. It's no joke when they say that they are world famous. The staff are very accommodating and will almost never deny a request. However the actual building is old. The tablecloths are really sticky, the doorknobs to the bathrooms are greasy, and the bathroom itself needs some renovations. It does appear somewhat clean, but there is just too much wear and tear that can't be cleaned with soap and a wet rag. I would recommend going, if you do not mind the dirtyness and just want a good piece of chicken with some mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese.

Another Restaurant that met my expectations far beyond what I ever expected. From the fried green tomatoes to the catfish tenders, potato salad, hush puppies and the chicken all of it was amazingly delicious. The hospitality was on point. Parking is less than desirable, but the food is worth the struggle. Don't let the prices deter you either. A little high but definitely a must on a treat day. Their fried pickle spears are a must have! Paired with their house made ranch it's truly heavenly. Their chicken is always an experience, but it's the generous portion of chicken livers that has me coming back, and Their cat fish is hands down the best in town that I've had so far. You Gotta have the real mashed potatoes and home made Mac n cheese with the spiral noodles for your sides. Staff was very friendly and timely as well and we went during one of their busiest times. Don't forget to try their crawfish when they are in season. You won't be disappointed!
