All other things being equal, I'll patronize a local business first, but Brumley's kitchen needs to get its act together. Our $34 filets that we ordered medium rare came out well done. Sent them back, which I rarely do, and they came back on the rare side of medium rare. To boot, mine had a streak ok gristle through it. I think for our next anniversary celebration, we'll return to Ruth's Chris.

Eight of us met at brumley's for the brunch on Saturday morning the wait staff was very good very tentative some of the meals on the menu need a little help my wife had I believe the southern Poached Eggs Benedict they can do without the salty country ham on that meal it ruined it switch to the other ham my scrambled eggs on the Brumley breakfast we're cold but other than that everything was okay we will go back good Bloody Marys

We had a really fantastic meal at Brumley‘s. Every single menu item looked appealing, but I chose a beef filet prepared in a barbecue jus topped with grilled scallion butter, with an accompaniment of baby carrots, broccolini, and whipped potatoes. One of us got the spring asparagus orecchiette, one got the flat iron steak, and everything was wonderful. Everybody was really pleased with their meal. Dessert (chocalate pot du crane) was also fantastic with a 10-year tawny port!

An absolutely flawless fine dining experience for our anniversary. If you seek a memorable evening dining on white tablecloths in perfect ambiance, please look no further than the only choice destination for a perfect meal in Greene County. Our server Bruce exemplified what it means for a server to make a meal perfect. I have nothing amiss to say about this establishment. Not for those who can't wait for perfect food or want to dress for Applebee's. We will be back.

Sunday brunch is an "event" at Brumley's. The setting in The General Morgan Hotel is beautiful and nostalgic. The formal place settings and the crisp, starched napkins and table clothes add an air of elegance seldom seen in East Tennessee. We were seated promptly and welcomed by the hostess. Beverly, our waitress was quick to take our drink orders and brought fresh, hot biscuits and the best blueberry scones I've ever tasted. Our party of three settled on the Montie Christo sandwich, the blueberry, peach compote French Toast, shrimp and grits. The food was delivered hot and in a timely manner. And, it was delicious. The Montie Christo had an ample amount of ham and swiss cheese. And, while it could have been a tad crispier, it was superb. The French toast was perfect with fresh berries and peaches. And, the shrimp and grits were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The meal for three (including drinks) was under $50. Our table waitress, Beverly, was one of the best I've seen. We will definitely be repeat guests of Brumley's.

This restaurant was amazing! Had chicken schnitzel and linguine was delicious. My husband ordered steak frittes and was also very appetizing. The staff very welcoming and if trying a appetizer the waitress suggested the brussel sprouts. She was right, we fell in love with them. If in area you should stop. Amazing place!!

The food was great but the experience wasn't. It was halloween night but when you pay that dearly for your meal you expect a professional staff not waitresses in their cow suits and overalls. Super disappointed. Next time I'll go to Applebee's or something.

Brumley's is part of the General Morgan Inn. My best friend and I love to travel and find exciting places to eat or have a glass of wine. The staff are friendly and professional. Tim, Beverly and Susanna go above and beyond to make us feel welcome, not to mention the rest of the staff. It's elegant and classy but still down to earth. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. They have roof top events and Masquerade Balls that everyone should check out for themselves. The food and drinks are excellent. Drop by and let them know that I sent you to experience Brumley's for yourself.
