Expensive buffet $20 per person! I don't know if that is everyday price, though. I went on a Sunday, I think. Vegetables lacked adequate seasonings to make them delectable. More like bland soul food. The only veggies I ate to satisfaction were the cabbage and mashed potatoes. I don't eat steak, but my aunt who does said that it is served medium-rare, which she doesn't prefer. Also, the size of the restaurant is very appropriate for the area. I would go again if someone else wanted to treat me. Other than that, no.

1st time dining here. Everything I ate from Flank steaks, ribs to turnip greens, yams and Banana pudding was very good. I talked to the owner a couple of times and he likes quality and seasoning of food. The place was very clean. All of the employees I interacted with were very nice and helpful. I was expecting Prime Rib at carving station, but only have Friday and Saturday after 4pm at dinner different price. Lunch with drink was $12.06

Despite the confusion on ticket costs, their food was phenomenal for a buffet. SO MANY MEAT CHOICES!! I tried to sample all but missed a few. What I did try was wonderful: perfectly seasoned crispy fried chicken, sliced bbq beef brisket that literally melted in my mouth, pork ribs that fell off the bones, meatloaf that was moist and tasty, and a bit of rare-ish tender flank steak with a sweet and savory marinade flavor. And, yes, the veggies and starches were also very, very good. We gave 4 thumbs up between the two of us for the homemade black cherry cobbler and bread pudding. Do NOT go here if you're struggling on your diet!!

The food was neither good or bad. I think the buffet need more variety to choose from. And a better choice of catfish. Have the butcher that's cutting the meats over a grill and include sirloin steak. Not everyone eats rare meat.

Have been going here since Brickhouse opened last year. The last 2 times were not nearly as good as before. Hope they are not getting too comfortable with the place. The veggies are over cooked and not much flavor, it is starting to all taste the same - bland. The Fri & Sat prime rib and good. The deserts selection is fair. Owner usually walks around checking on customers and is great. Will give it 1 more try and hope for improvement soon.

This place is awesome! Huge selection of good southern comfort food! It does my heart good to see a thriving business in this building after Dixie Cafe closed! My mother n law worked for Dixie for over 20 yrs and she passed in 2017 and that place always seemed to have a piece of her everytime we ate there! Give them a try u won't be sorry there is something to please everyone! Hint Banana Pudding is to die for!

Be prepared for high cholesterol they food have tons of grease. The manager standing around watching the buffet if they monitoring what you eating. What they charging you should be able to eat without security.

Each time I walk in they say to me “Welcome back!“ They keep the food hot and fresh. They keep the place clean including the bathrooms! There was a dish that was not out and somebody heard me ask about it and they brought it to my table directly from the kitchen...Where do you find that kind of service? In my opinion they don’t charge enough money for the food. There are so many delicious cuts of meat it’s incredible.

Their prime rib is AMAZING! Choices of horseradish, horseradish sauce, or au jous as condiments. Baked steak was darn good too. The pork loin- nobody was interested in it, and had become cold and rather tough. Other main dishes on the buffet are good, vegetable selection isn't that great. But the salad bar is excellent. If you go there for the prime rib, for the price, it's a deal that can't be beat. It's a bargain. If you're a vegetarian, and you want more than just a salad, you'll be disappointed. I've been there at least 6 times in the last 3 months for the prime rib, and I've NEVER been disappointed, and plan on dining there many more times in the months and years to come.

Surprise! Good food and great value with excellent service. Friday night choices included prime rib, ham, lasagna, braised ribs, catfish, little breaded shrimps and a very nice salad bar. Awesome desert bar with ice cream and lots of toppings, pies too. Clean, and the employees hustled around collecting plates, and cleaning off tables. $32 for two people (soft drinks/tea is more). $5.99 per pound to go box.

We went too the Brickhouse resturant it was buffet style we were there for Mother's Day .I was a little disappointed that all of the food items that were advertised were not available. If they are going too charge 17.00 per person on mothers day Sunday I really would expect too get everything I paid for the servers were nice and the Nashville hot chicken was Great!

Great fried chicken! Nice salad bar and lovely staff who actually smile! I'm happy to hear about cooking the beef longer...I'll remember that next time. We went at lunch this past Monday and it was good. Definitely southern comfort food. Lots of those kind of choices, but other choices are available if you're concerned. The fried chicken is absolutely delicious! The best I've had in Memphis. We will go back. It's nice to have this alternative in Bartlett.

I love this place. It's hard to find a buffet now days. The restaurant is clean and their staff is always friendly and welcoming. The managers always talks to the guest at their tables. Food is wonderful and fantastic. Price is reasonable but it's a buffet so you walk out of it a winner when you look at it.

People hyped this up so much but it's a tiny buffet. It's okay if you aren't a picky person with allergies. Their dessert selection is bomb though. The lasagna was my favorite!

Wide variety of food, but it lacked seasoning. I know the health requirements of the majority must be taken into account, but I just looked at some items and didn't want to try them. I like trying new places, but won't be going back. I did like the Carving Station and Salad Bar. Since everyone's taste buds are different, give it a try for yourself. Only saw waitress once.

Good food, but like most buffets, food was either too highly spiced or not enough. Food was very good though and less than 10 min wait on a busy Saturday night. Food was always restocked quickly.

My first impression was 1. The hostess at the front finished her conversation with a coworker before helping me. 2. I initially thought $17 is kinda insane, however there were a lot of choices and I’m assuming the craving station being open was the reason it was $18. The meats were good, but I didn’t have one side that I liked, nothing seems to be seasoned. I will say I was glad they still had a little breakfast stuff out, because it’s hard to mess up eggs, pancakes and bacon. I’m not sure I’ll be going back for lunch/dinner but if they had a breakfast I would give that a try, hopefully it’s reasonable priced. The last thing I will say is the staff wasn’t really friendly from the time I walked in till I left.

This place is located in the building next to the Bartlett Malco theater. Very nice interior decorator... And very familiar of you ever went to the doctor cafe. Don't change it if it works though. The buffet is great American style food. There's a guy on the side slicing fillets off the beef tenderloin loin, huge slices of prime rib, turkey, and pork tenderloin. All of which were very nicely cooked, excellently seasoned, and great flavor over all. I went there a few times and enjoyed all of them. On the rest of the buffet there's everything from fried chicken and catfish to ribs and sides. The dessert selection is excellent with everything from cobbler to I've cream. The salad bar has a selection with around 25 salad toppings and even cottage cheese. One of my favorites (other than the slices of meats) was the lasagna. Great job on that one! I'd highly recommend going here if you haven't. Great food at a very reasonable price for what you get!

The food was so good and hot. There was a great variety of foods. Everything was fresh and they were constantly refreshing the food if it got low. Yesterday was my family and I 1st time visiting. Just know we will be back! The sausage at the carving table was amazing! The chef even brung us more sausage when he ran out without us even asking. Jason the manager and his staff were outstanding! This is our new spot. We drove over 30 minutes to get there, so guess what its worth the drive. Last but least, it is very clean!!!!!

Rather pricey for the quality of food. Very good salad bar but the rest of the food was just average. Most of the vegetables are overcooked and many of the meat choices were dry. The barbecue ribs were the exception. The ribs were juicy and tender. Beware when dining alone, if you get up to get something else you may come back to a cleared off table.

There needs to be more items that are for diabetic customers. You only had 1 meat that was not fried and it was rare. How about some baked or broiled chicken, that would cover those of us who don't eat red meat also. Another thing, you only had one green vegetable. Please offer at least 2 or 3. More fruit on the salad bar would be nice also. The restaurant is lovely, service is great. Now I just need some food that my body can tolerate. This was my 1st visit so I hope to see some changes by my next visit. Thank you so much for requesting my input!

Wow awesome had lunch there this afternoon and was amazed. The carving station had filet mignon, there were delicious jumbo breaded shrimp on the buffet and had some of the best fried catfish I've ever tasted and what had to be one of the best salad bars in town. Can't wait to get back and it was only $10.99 don't know how they do it.

8-18-19 Sunday the brunch was terrible. All the breakfast items were way over cooked. Biscuits were hard as rocks, eggs like rubber & sausages burnt black. So I decided to forget breakfast and get chicken n dressing because I love their dressing but nope not today. It was so bad. No flavor and burnt on top and bottom. The cranberry sauce tasted old and stale. We have never had such a bad experience at Brick house its usually one of our favorites. But not no more.

Food was good! Really enjoyed the carved meat section. Overall it was satisfactory. It is a but pricey but the amount of food you can get is quite a lot. Very clean with a lovely staff. While the food may not be the best you ever had, there is so much to try that you are bound to find something you like. I really liked the tenderloin. The desserts were pretty good as well. If I am wanting a buffet I will be sure to come back here!

Great food but it is so hard to get out of those church bench chairs by the window. There is a lip on the end that restricts you from getting in and out of the chair, and we are not big. It's the most uncomfortable seating I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Also, just add the dollar to the price of every meal instead of asking do you want to add a dollar for a soda or tea. Seems like a trick, we just say no because it is confusing.

My wife and I came in at 1:30. I took one bite of shrimp and had to spit it out. My next bite was of their catfish which was extremely mushy and lacking any flavor. My wife took one bite of the steak and had to spit it out. So after 3 bites of food all tasting terrible we decided to leave and they would not give us a refund for serving absolutely terrible food. I guess I should have expected the terrible service to go with it! If you want to waste your money on disgusting food that may make you sick this is the place for you! 2 thumbs down

What ever you do in life at least once visit brick House buffet, I can't believe it has been there all of these years and I have never heard of it. Now it's a good long way out there, but it is worth every minute of travel time. I'm not sure how it compares with other buffets because we don't have any thing like that in midtown. I did think it was a little pricey, but like I said there is nothing to compare it to.

Nice staff. Cold drinks. Bagged, canned, mediocre choices with pieces of the plastic packaging in the product for you to enjoy, as told by a worker! O_o However we were offered 1free meal to come and enjoy the experience all again. Absolutely not likely. We did not speak to the owner during our Tuesday visit. He must have us confused with another unsatisfied customer. Another worker told us that the plastic was from the chicken and dumplings which comes from a bag.

I went there for dinner Sunday evening(around 4:30pm) and three things that impressed me the most were 1.) The cleanliness of the restaurant 2.) How friendly the staff was 3.) The freshness of the food. Their meatloaf from the buffet tasted like it was homemade in my family's kitchen, they had a good variety of sides and the salad bar had fresh ingredients. If you're trying to eat healthy, like I am, there were healthy choices such as baked chicken, baked salmon, and a carving station with fresh meat. There is a little bit of something for everyone here and the desert bar was one of the best I've ever seen. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, many restaurants like to use catchphrase's such as "Home-style" or "Country-style cooking" but don't quite live up to those words, Brickhouse Buffet does. I felt like I was at my family's house for dinner! It was great.

A bit pricey for a family. $15/person? I can have a really nice steak dinner at that price point. The meat carving station was nice, and the other food items that were available were okay. If it’s just me and I’m starving, I may give it another shot. The family will probably just go around the corner to a Mexican restaurant or to a steak house with a porch.

We chose Brickhouse to celebrate a birthday. The food was decent. The two young ladies at the front were friendly however, the other employees seemed unfriendly and unhappy. My son inlaw had some of the steak from the cutting board and used A-1 steak sauce that had an expiration date of 2016 (the restaurant hasn't been open that long at this location). I brought this to the manager's attention and he said he was going to throw it away. I checked and there was one more bottle where the condiments were kept that also had a 2016 expiration date. My daughter went to the cutting block to get smoked sausage and was asked by the gentleman cutting the meats, who was not personable at all, if she wanted hot or mild. She replied that she wanted mild and then was told they didn't have any mild. I found the manager once again and asked if there was mild sausage in the kitchen and he promptly went to check and brought some out. Overall the birthday boy enjoyed his food but my experience was less than par.

Stopped by without knowing anything about it, and it was too pricey for mediocre food. It’s just basic, dry cafeteria food. The fish was a weird color (old? undercooked?) too and had a jerky-texture. Some of the simpler stuff (macaroni, mashed potatoes, corn) was good, but not enough to make up for the cost. I will say that all of the staff was exceptionally friendly and the place was clean, the food just wasn’t worth it.

Great environment and the staff was great!!!! That's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars!!!! The food was terrible. The food wasn't hot and comes off a hotbar so I'm unsure as to why my name potatoes was cold.. The prime rib was also was hot but just lukewarm.. I m not sure if we went at a bad time or this is a daily issue. But again the service was great but not a place for me

We have come here two times for lunch in the last month. Both times we were greeted with friendly staff. No noting what to expect we were blow away . So much food and they were always replacing with fresh . So many choices and desserts were over the top . It means a lot when employees are cleaning all the time. Thanks for the great service

Im giving three stars because the food isn't the worst ive ever had. Staff is friendly. Cooked Shrimp on the buffet that hasnt been cleaned. Banana pudding with no cookies. To me its not worth the $16.99. I wasn't impressed. I will not be coming back. I looked on the website it said baked chicken. I didnt see any. Not a fan of beef. Fish was dry

The staff was pleasant,the place was clean, and the kids ate free when I came. This is the only reason I’m giving it 2stars! Everything I tried was disgusting except for the rolls and tea. One of my children did enjoy the ice cream bar.I tried to sample a little bit of everything.I actually spat some food out at the table because I couldn’t force myself to swallow it. Once I got to my car I vomited outside. It was horrible and I feel even worse now. I wanted to try it today but I won’t be back.
