This is a very small restaurant with really good Greek and American food. My friend had salad topped with yummy salmon. I had grilled lemon chicken, Greek salad and vegetables. The hummus appetizer was wonderful, we ate every bite.

This place is a fast pace happy and friendly waitress and the owner cares about our comments and reviews. The owner treats the workers kindly and very nice. The food is very good recommend trying it out and they make you feel at home. If you are reading this and didn't try it out I highly recommend to or your tastebuds will be depressed forever.

We saw the Belevue Diner show cased on Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives, so we thought we would check it out. If you are in the area and craving Greek or other items on their menu then I would say it is worth it to stop and eat. We, however, would not recommend going out of your way to get to this restaurant. The food quality is decent, the service is satisfactory, and the comfort and cleanliness is okay. We arrived about an hour prior to closing, like some other restaurants you could tell that the some of the staff was more interested in closing than serving customers. So our second recommendation is to arrive at minimum an hour prior to closing. Best regards.

Nice little diner serving Greek and American food. Easy to spot from the road. Ample free parking. The food is fresh and tasty, but the portions are a bit smaller than they are in most other diners that I've patronized. There were too many flies, and the men's room should have been cleaner. My brother-in-law said that his toast was too well done, but I saw his toast, and it was toasted according to the Goldilocks principle, not too dark, nor too light, just right. There's also another issue that they should address. The sign says that they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. In actual fact they serve dinner only four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday. They should make that clearer on the sign.

I'm a regular here at the Bellevue Diner, and the food is always delicious and the service great. Nice selection of both Greek and American foods, though I do hate that they took the breakfast bagels off the menu. Still a solid recommendation

Excellent food, friendly, long wait for service, overpriced. This is my second time here and both times I have had to wait an unusually long time for my server to come to the table. As a former waitress, I understand busy... but you at least great your new table, especially when you’ve walked by the table at least 3 times. I am a party of one. The process of being seated, waited on and receiving my food took somewhere between 45-60 minutes. However, the food is amazing. I will give it one more chance.

Service is great & food is delicious (their feta fries & baklava are to DIE for). Love the staff — they know us by name and even remember our usual orders! They can have a bit of a wait & slow down on Sundays, but frankly I like a relaxed brunch — never feel rushed away from my table. Always a treat!

First of all I am a fan of Bellevue Diner and eat there often. Just lately the food has been tasting way too salty. Don't know if they changed recipes or what. Please go back to your original flavor. We really love your restaurant! (We had beef stroganoff, salmon salad, shrimp creole, gyro with side of vegetables which I sent back for fries. Except for gyro, all saltier than before.)

The restaurant was freezing and uncomfortable. Polite staff. I had a large glass of whole milk and it still had cream in the milk. It was wonderful. A little disappointed in the food...French toast and Greek breakfast, but it's a diner. I'd return.

Though they have a great staff and service, the food left a bit to be desired. Gyro meat was bland and they served salads with cheap (gross) ranch, not a greek dressing. The skillet that looked so great on the menu was underseasoned and undersized.

It would have been 1 star but my wife's breakfast was pretty good. Her's was eggs, bacon and grits. Mine, on the other hand, was not at all worth the money, or eating, for that matter. I left over half on the plate and I was not asked if something was wrong. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs scrambled well done. The eggs were runny. The corned beef hash was straight out of a dog food can; it was cooked on one side and turned over on the plate to show the done side. The hash browns were done the same way but barely brown on the one done side. Everything on my plate was almost warm. This was our first time here. They were a little busy but we did not have to wait to be seated. We will give them ONE more chance. Any place can have an off day or a bad order.

A few caveats first... 1) dined here since immediately after management, as I understand it, split from Athens Restaurant on the other side of town (love that place!) a few years ago and last weekend, 2) rating is averaged across multiple experiences across different meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). If judged purely on dinner and meals early on, rating would likely be higher. The Greek plates at this place (sampled both during lunch and dinner time) are good although our family of four still prefers the (slightly) greater variety and more consistently flavorful fare at Athens. Breakfast, however, is another story. Not sure if there has been a gradual decrease in quality over the years or a recent phenomena, but there has definitely been a distinct drop-off in both taste and quantity. Good experiences in the past (particularly the omelets) have not been replicated the last few times we've dined here in the mornings. This time around, we ordered the 2-egg plate with bacon and pancakes on the side, and the "Big Boy" breakfast which comes with a egg scramble (with ham, sausage, and bacon), home fries, and pancakes. Pancakes were decent but did not stand out from those served at chain and other local eateries. The egg scramble and home fries, however, tasted unseasoned and did not appear appetizing. The latter were particularly disappointing since they looked like a half a McDonald's hash brown (which are actually seasoned better) on top of cooked but unappealing potato bits. Might be coincidental but wondered why we were able to walk right into a relatively empty restaurant in the middle of the breakfast crowd whereas previous visits required 15-20 minute wait times. Like the other times we've dined here, service was good but it could not overcome the underwhelming food served. Disappointed one of our favorite breakfast spots has likely been crossed off the list in lieu of standing in line at Red Bicycle, Athens, or Loveless. Ever the optimist, a meal later in the day remains a possibility, at least for now.

Arrived during a busy Sunday morning. The food was OK. The server was overwhelmed and seemed rather cluless. We had to request silverware, and the missing portions of our meals. I do not recommend this place as a destination eatery, but it will serve you a reasonable meal.

So I did talk my husband can we go Greek restaurant? he said ok and 5/19/19 we went to restaurant and when did quick already table But long wait for service and server . As a former waitress, I understand busy... This is my second time here and second times I have had to wait an unusually long time for my server to come to the table. She did come and ask order we said ready and I want to same order before I did She is not nice and not helpful after she got order she didn’t come long time are coffee finish and after long time she came and ask more coffee and we said yes she left and she didn’t come again and she didn’t bring coffee one. The process of being seated, waited on and receiving my food didn’t come and coffee too between 40-60 minutes and I did cancel my order and left . I will say not professional but friendly, nice , smile server .... thanks

Athens Greek restaurant is now Bellevue diner. They still offer some Greek selections which is what we had and they were delicious. However they decided they needed more typically American choices which are available.

I love this place - it used to be known as 'Athens Family Restaurant', and while I'm unsure if the same group still owns it, the Greek / Mediterranean origins of the place still show. They have a neat fusion of standard American fare with a Greek-style twist - great food, and a friendly staff!
