The food was good and is a nice addition to downtown. I am offended any time when the person entering my order flips the screen over when payment is made and expects a tip to be entered on the screen. I ask myself what this person has done to deserve a tip? They pushed three buttons on the screen. I walked up to the counter and ordered, I walked up to the counter and picked up my food. I put my garbage in the dumpster after eating. I didn't wipe off the table - nor did anyone else. Tip? Not so much! By the way - the parking absolutely stinks. This is another example to jamming a place into a location with no parking.

Went in at 7pm Wednesday and the guy told us we could only order catfish or jambalay. Would have been nice for them to tell us when we arrived at the counter or they could have put a sign over the menu rather than let me and my daughter stand at the counter staring at the menu for a long time discussing it as workers walked by multiple times... The catfish was ok, the cajun fish fry batter had a nice crunch and flavor, just a bit salty. The menu did look interesting, hope you are luckier...

Out in Sioux Falls working on a car wash installation and I fly back home to Pennsylvania tomorrow. This is the type of place I love yo find. Something authentic, that I can't ever get 100% back home, because you can tell their food is made with their love and passion of food. I wanted the catfish po boy, but they were out. I chose chicken over shrimp and man o man I don't think I could go wrong any which way. The seasoning was perfect, and the probspor were generous. I might be back in a few months for another install, and I will make my way here again if I am.

Great food. If your looking for some great food in the downtown area I recommend Swamp Daddy's. I ordered the catfish po boy. It was a great portion of food.

Had the cajun chicken pasta. The chicken bites were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pasta was cooked perfectly and was covered with non-salty cheese and cajun seasoning. Yum!

The food here is AMAZING! However, they need to seriously work on service. I've been there 3 times with another person and they have forgotten at least one of our meals twice. It was a slow night most of the time. I also had someone with coughing kids take my food to their table, realize it's not theirs after a minute, and put it back on the counter. The staff then gave it to me and wouldn't remake it. Thats disgusting. God knows if the other people ate off of it. This place needs to learn organizational skills and proper service. 2 month update: I have gone back a few times now and they appear to have improved their organization of orders. Food is still great!

Overpriced, very small menu. Tried alligator, hush puppies, jambalaya, catfish, all of which were extremely salty. We remembered the food truck having better jambalaya.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we got! We tried the gator bites, lettuce wraps, shrimp po' boy, and catfish. The fries were so good. The kids loved their mac and cheese. I will be back. The lettuce wraps were so yummy, I'm already dreaming about them!

Love, love love!! Their shrimp tacos are amazing, cooked right before you. They are a little spendy, so if you have a family with numerous children, may not be the most affordable option. Their hours are limited and specific, so make sure to check before you show up. They are in a diverse location with numerous other shopping and eating drinking options. Right across from the Levitt bandshell. Their is out door seating. This is not full service, you order and pick your order up. Amazing Cajun food! FYI at this time there is still a charge for using a card.

Spectacular food that has the most awesome flavors. Everything was top of the charts delicious. Pro tip: go next door and get yourself a beer while they are making your food fresh to order. These folks have brought a much needed level of foodie diversity to Sioux Falls.

Being form Louisiana and living in Sioux Falls, this is about the most authentic Cajun cuisine you will find in the area. Glad they opened a formal kitchen downtown to provide a wider variety of Cajun choices. Large portion sizes and prices are ideal. Will certainly be back for seconds...

Basic! Jambalaya was only rice chicken and some sausage and not much chicken or sausage. No vegetables no shrimp not anything else that should be on jambalaya. Not worth $10.

Swamp Daddy’s is one of the best resteraunts in Sioux Falls. I came back recently from an amazing trip to Louisiana and Swamp Daddy’s, with its amazing food and warm atmosphere was a perfect remembrance of that. The owner is very kind, the staff lively and the food is made with love and lots of great flavors. I’m so happy I have found this place and I highly reccomend this gem of a resteraunt in Sioux Falls!
