If Norman Rockwell had opened a family restaurant, this would be it. Great food, "fresh scrubbed" wholesome looking servers, and a legit old building that just screams character!!! If you're in the area and don't eat here, you've missed a local treasure.

Wonderful prime rib! I got the trio special this time. I think next time I'll skip the shrimp. It wasn't bad just nothing special. I think prime rib and a potato is where it's at. Really nice small town vibe.

The fish was thick with breading and very greasy as it was deep fried so the fish inside was a little over cooked. My husband was not impressed with the ribs he was thinking they were the smaller ribs and not the country ribs. So there was a whole lot of fat on the ribs. But the service was good.

OK, the place is an old rustic store of some kind. Old, incredibly worn wooden floors, the outside has not seen a paint brush in many decades and it just isn't a place you'd think to stop at if you were driving by. HOWEVER ... The food is wonderful! People come for many miles to eat here and rightly so. It's a steak & potatoes, kind of place. Saturday night is Prime Rib special night and it IS special. They also offer fantail shrimp on Saturday and a wide variety of other choices every day but Monday. Nice little salad bar and home made rolls too. And just to complete the image, Elvis music and photos throughout. Fun small town spot, extremely casual and excellent food.

Very Very Iconic Middle of Nowhere Oasis of Publican Grub and Mead. I mean, the place has an honest to god CD juke box and sports a Sun Records and Country Kitsch vibe. The building is to-die-for, but alas, you should probably visit sooner than later
