Poor quality food. I had never actually had bad Chinese food but this was actually bad. Buffet was constantly missing items, even though there's not many to begin with. Pork was very low quality and not appetizing. Lo mein was dry and bad. Spring rolls were over cooked. Our drinks were empty throughout our meal. We will not be returning, and honestly I'd say HyVee Chinese food is better than this.

Oh my goodness! Apart from sushi, we've not had Asian cuisine opportunity like this since our days in SoCal. Amazing fresh and well prepared dishes from a number of traditions and styles. The vegetable spring roll appetizer will knock you out - so fresh and light! About an hour from our house but we are going back!

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The staff really had great suggestions and were attentive with our dirty used dishes and refilling drinks. We all stuck with the Korean dishes which are hard to find around the Midwest here. The bulgogi and kimchi stir fry were very well sauced and the bulgogi especially is some of the best I've found in my travels. I personally had the bibimbap and thought it was excellent. The sauce they bring with is a red bean base bibimbap sauce and really added a lot of great depth to the flavors. While the rice was perfect, excellent and cooked great, I was slightly disappointed the hot stone pot it came in was not hot enough like they usually are to keep cooking the rice touching it and make it crispy. Overall, I will be coming here for more, and I live a good hour away. That should tell you something huh?

The lunch buffet is always amazing. I have yet to try a dish that I didn't like at this restaurant. Seriously, amazing. My only complaint is that the workers can sometimes seem like they're irritated by having to serve you - which can be true of servers anywhere. They've never been rude though and always end up providing good service. Definitely worth checking out!

Nothing here is authentic anything. Long grain rice. Wrong meat for the "bulgoki" as they call bulgogi, which did not use bulgogi marinade. The dish itself is 1oz of meat with a pound of onions, carrots, and a couple of mushrooms. I know I'm in South Dakota, but seriously, some of these reviews are by some seriously ignorant people. It's another "pan-asian" restaurant that offers low quality food.

Silk Road is an awesome Chinese restaurant! The buffet is great but I like ordering off of the menu better. Their Princess chicken is awesome and the fried rice is always done perfectly! If it's busy you may have to wait a bit longer but it's worth it. I would recommend this restaurant!

Amazing quality of food, even the buffet. Everything made in-house, including the kimchi and a majority of the sauces (ask about their hot pepper sauces). Service was excellent, prompt and genuine, enthusiastic but not overwhelming.

Tried to get a large take out order and received perhaps the worst service ever. After waiting for over twenty minute to place orders while others came and went We were told our order was too large and that sit down and smaller customers take precedence so instead of placing our order they just set it aside!!! That is perhaps the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. Apparently a large take out order over 200 is not worth as much as smaller sit down orders? The manager was extremely rude and basically pushed us out the door. Rather than apologizing for being busy he was angry we came in and ordered too much food. Not that good service is their livelihood or anything...It took almost an hour to get a take out order. I wish we would have just done the manager a favor and left. But since you have to pay before you get your food we were left little choice except not only to never go back but make sure everyone I meet knows that Silk Road is only worth going to if you want an awful experience, rude service, and a manager who berates you for expecting him to do his job. Well that’s 10 less customer they ever have to worry about. Message received.

Good food and a very good menu. Friendly service and nice setting. Extremely slow kitchen. Waited almost an hour for a take out order. If you are in a hurry or just like reasonable times don't go here until they get things fixed.
